Good evening. The headlines on BBC Newsline: | :00:31. | :00:31.
They threatened to burn his home and run down his two-year-old child | :00:32. | :00:35.
- a first-hand account of a racist attack. | :00:36. | :00:37.
The row over the on-the-run letters - the widow | :00:38. | :00:41.
It's Brazil, not Northern Ireland, for the First and | :00:42. | :00:44.
Deputy First Ministers, but what about the crunch talks | :00:45. | :00:46.
Life in the firing line - reservists train for battle. | :00:47. | :01:00.
Join me at the US Open, as Northern Ireland's offers go in search of | :01:01. | :01:05.
more major success. And it's the calm | :01:06. | :01:07.
after the storm tomorrow The victim of a racist assault has | :01:08. | :01:09.
told BBC Newsline that the attackers threatened to burn | :01:10. | :01:17.
his home and run down his child. Ade didn't want to give us | :01:18. | :01:21.
his surname. He was beaten and had bottles thrown | :01:22. | :01:24.
at him in the Sliabh Dubh area This evening and antiracism protest | :01:25. | :01:47.
was held. Today good wishes came to the door of the home in West Belfast | :01:48. | :01:51.
where just hours away he was attacked. This is a madness, you | :01:52. | :01:58.
have a family, you just want to get up, go to work, live a good life. I | :01:59. | :02:05.
said, excuse me, don't call me those names. They said they would run my | :02:06. | :02:12.
daughter down and they were coming towards me. He suffered cuts and | :02:13. | :02:18.
bruises and a wound to his mouth. When I stood up there was blood | :02:19. | :02:24.
coming out of my mouth. Two men arrested in connection with the | :02:25. | :02:27.
attack had been released pending further enquiries. We are ashamed | :02:28. | :02:33.
that racist attacks have been visited on our community. We know | :02:34. | :02:38.
the value of the ethnic minorities in West Belfast. We see it every day | :02:39. | :02:43.
in the hospital, working in many other jobs in West Belfast. They are | :02:44. | :02:49.
our neighbours and we support them. Since coming to Northern Ireland, | :02:50. | :02:54.
aid has lived in several places around Northern Ireland and has | :02:55. | :03:00.
lived in several places before. It wasn't my fault I was born with Mike | :03:01. | :03:06.
colour, it wasn't their fault they were aboard their colour. He says he | :03:07. | :03:11.
and his family will not be threatened to West Belfast and | :03:12. | :03:14.
tonight dozens of people turned up to support a rally against racism. | :03:15. | :03:21.
The Director of Public Prosecutions has said letters sent to so called | :03:22. | :03:25.
on-the-runs telling them they were not wanted by police are largely | :03:26. | :03:27.
Barra McGrory also told MPs on the Northern Ireland Affairs | :03:28. | :03:31.
Committee that consideration should be given to rescinding letters sent | :03:32. | :03:34.
The widow of an RUC officer murdered by the IRA has described | :03:35. | :03:39.
Our home affairs correspondent Vincent Kearney reports. | :03:40. | :03:52.
Part-time RUC officer Dougie Carruthers was killed when an IRA | :03:53. | :03:55.
bomb exploded under his car outside his home in May 1991. | :03:56. | :03:58.
14 years later, his widow went to Downing Street to urge Tony Blair | :03:59. | :04:02.
not to introduce legislation aimed at ensuring those classified as | :04:03. | :04:04.
on-the-runs wouldn't spend time in jail. | :04:05. | :04:09.
I said, Prime Minister, they appeal to you as a family man? I showed him | :04:10. | :04:18.
a photograph of my children with their dad just a few days before her | :04:19. | :04:20.
murder. anger at learning that Tony Blair's | :04:21. | :04:22.
government had operated a scheme I feel deep hurt and trampled upon | :04:23. | :04:40.
and my husband's memory trampled upon, along with the other husbands | :04:41. | :04:43.
and family members that were murdered. | :04:44. | :04:45.
Earlier, the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee heard evidence | :04:46. | :04:47.
from a man at the heart of the debate. | :04:48. | :04:53.
Barra McGrory is now the Director of Public Prosecutions, but in his | :04:54. | :04:59.
previous role as a solicitor he acted on behalf of Sinn Fein and | :05:00. | :05:04.
submitted names of republican suspects to the police asking if | :05:05. | :05:09.
they were wanted by the authorities. Mr McGrory, do you accept that by | :05:10. | :05:15.
your standing you are the personification of the poacher | :05:16. | :05:19.
turned gamekeeper? You have said that to me before, and it is not a | :05:20. | :05:30.
term I would like to use. The existence of the letters came to | :05:31. | :05:34.
light in February when an Old Bailey judge rules that John Downey would | :05:35. | :05:37.
not stand trial because he had sent one. Barra McGrory said that the | :05:38. | :05:44.
letters were of little value if new evidence emerges. Is your view that | :05:45. | :05:53.
these letters are worthless? Maybe not entirely worthless but I think | :05:54. | :05:58.
they are. He was asked about the legal staters of the letters. These | :05:59. | :06:07.
letters are often not great legal significance. | :06:08. | :06:16.
They ought not to be sleeping easy in their bed. | :06:17. | :06:22.
Does Gerry Adams have one of these letters? I don't believe so. Does | :06:23. | :06:30.
Gerry Kelly have one of these letters? I don't believe so. Could | :06:31. | :06:37.
you identify anyone in the leadership of the republican | :06:38. | :06:39.
movement who would have one of these letters? No. The DPP said | :06:40. | :06:47.
consideration should be given to rescinding all letters as part of | :06:48. | :06:52.
the scheme. Peter Robinson later told the committee his party had not | :06:53. | :06:56.
known about the scheme until the collapse of the John Downey trial. | :06:57. | :06:59.
He said it was a dark chapter in the Chronicles of government conduct. | :07:00. | :07:06.
The Secretary of State says she thinks it would be | :07:07. | :07:09.
wrong to publicly name former terrorist prisoners who were given | :07:10. | :07:11.
Theresa Villiers also confirmed that it was the mechanism used to free | :07:12. | :07:16.
The royal prerogative of mercy is issued in the name of the Queen but | :07:17. | :07:30.
in effect it is administered at the discretion of the Secretary of | :07:31. | :07:35.
State. 365 were given out here between 1979 and 2002, the bulk of | :07:36. | :07:42.
them for non-terrorist related minor conventions but my convictions like | :07:43. | :07:46.
driving offences. But they were also used to deal with prisoners who fell | :07:47. | :07:50.
outside the early release scheme. Since 1967, 13 royal prerogatives | :07:51. | :07:55.
have been handed out as part of the on the runs scheme. In England and | :07:56. | :08:01.
Wales, recipients' names are publicised. Here they are not. I | :08:02. | :08:07.
don't think it would be helpful to discuss individual names and cases. | :08:08. | :08:12.
It has not been the practice in Northern Ireland to publish the | :08:13. | :08:15.
identity of peoples who reseed the rpm. I can see a case for doing this | :08:16. | :08:20.
differently in the future but I am not convinced making a change | :08:21. | :08:25.
retrospectively would be wise. Rural poor returns were used to free | :08:26. | :08:32.
supergrasses like William Allen and others who gave evidence against | :08:33. | :08:35.
suspects in the 1980s. What remains to be answered is how many royal | :08:36. | :08:40.
prerogatives were issued between 1987 and 1997, which records have | :08:41. | :08:50.
been lost or not maintained. And you can hear more of that on BBC Radio 4 | :08:51. | :08:52.
at 8pm this evening. How sharing with neighbours | :08:53. | :08:55.
could benefit schools. The first of two reports | :08:56. | :08:58.
from our education correspondent. The First and Deputy First Ministers | :08:59. | :09:09.
have been invited to visit Brazil It's understood they have been | :09:10. | :09:12.
invited to visit Marfrig, the Brazilian parent company of | :09:13. | :09:15.
Moy Park. Marfrig is one | :09:16. | :09:17.
of the official sponsors of the World Cup, which starts this | :09:18. | :09:19.
week and runs until mid July. Our political editor Mark Devenport | :09:20. | :09:23.
is at Stormont. Mark, what's the full itinerary | :09:24. | :09:25.
for this visit? I am afraid I cannot tell you that | :09:26. | :09:35.
because we have had no official announcement yet. We note the | :09:36. | :09:42.
invitation comes from Moy Park, we know their parent company is a big | :09:43. | :09:46.
meat processing firm which has an official link as a sponsor of the | :09:47. | :09:51.
World Cup. When they were last there that was in March 2013, they were | :09:52. | :09:57.
there to secure jobs and a senior storm of source said anyone who | :09:58. | :10:00.
thinks this is a World Cup junket has it wrong, this is about securing | :10:01. | :10:05.
jobs and the two politicians would see more football if they stayed at | :10:06. | :10:09.
home on their TV screens then if they took these flights to take part | :10:10. | :10:15.
in this investment mission. We are due to have more interparty talks on | :10:16. | :10:20.
flags, parades and the past. How could this trip affect that | :10:21. | :10:24.
schedule? It would probably come after those talks conclude. The | :10:25. | :10:29.
timetable is that the talks should end in early July and they are due | :10:30. | :10:34.
to travel out in mid-July. In terms of other pressures on those talks, | :10:35. | :10:39.
the DUP said today that like the Ulster Unionists, they did not | :10:40. | :10:44.
intend to negotiate about legacy issues until they have seen the | :10:45. | :10:49.
outcome of the Judd led review currently under way into the issue | :10:50. | :10:54.
of on the runs. That issue is not meant to report until the end of | :10:55. | :10:58.
June. If they say they are not negotiating about the path that will | :10:59. | :11:02.
not go down well with Sinn Fein, who want the talks to start soon and | :11:03. | :11:06.
want to talk about everything, not just flags and parades. | :11:07. | :11:09.
The police have renewed their appeal to find a man who raped | :11:10. | :11:12.
and assaulted an eight-year-old girl near Newry 20 years ago today. | :11:13. | :11:15.
Detectives have issued two new images | :11:16. | :11:16.
of the man they want to question in connection with the attack. | :11:17. | :11:20.
It's thought he was in his late teens or early 20s at the time and | :11:21. | :11:24.
that he lured the child into woods near Barcroft Community Centre. | :11:25. | :11:27.
He raped her and attempted to strangle her. | :11:28. | :11:31.
The Republic's Minister for Children has started an investigation | :11:32. | :11:41.
The move is prompted by the recent attention on a convent-run home | :11:42. | :11:45.
in Tuam in County Galway where it's believed the remains | :11:46. | :11:48.
The minister wants the inquiry to examine the high mortality rates in | :11:49. | :11:53.
such homes, burial practices, the legal circumstances around adoptions | :11:54. | :11:55.
and the question of conducting clinical trials on children. | :11:56. | :11:58.
The inquiry will also include the Protestant-run Bethany Home | :11:59. | :12:00.
Five police officers have been disciplined for failing to properly | :12:01. | :12:09.
investigate a fire at a GAA club in Londonderry almost three years ago. | :12:10. | :12:12.
The Sean Dolan club has welcomed the Police Ombudsman's investigation | :12:13. | :12:16.
and said it vindicated its original suspicion that | :12:17. | :12:19.
Here's our North-West reporter Keiron Tourish. | :12:20. | :12:28.
The fire at the Sean Dolan clubhouse cause damage to the building, which | :12:29. | :12:37.
was later demolished. Initially the club was told by investigators there | :12:38. | :12:41.
was no sign of forced entry and it may have been caused by an | :12:42. | :12:46.
electrical fault. After the PSNI had watched CCTV footage, the Police | :12:47. | :12:50.
Ombudsman said the club was again told by investigators the premises | :12:51. | :12:54.
haven't been deliberately set on fire, but the next day the police | :12:55. | :12:58.
changed their due and treated the far as arson. They had done so after | :12:59. | :13:04.
what had -- watching the footage again with officials from the club. | :13:05. | :13:09.
Members had pointed to shadowy figures in the footage and bright | :13:10. | :13:13.
flashes within the building. Five officers have now been disciplined. | :13:14. | :13:19.
The ombudsman said the police failed to carry out basic enquiries such as | :13:20. | :13:22.
checking the broker of the clubhouse, carrying out door-to-door | :13:23. | :13:27.
enquiries, studying CCTV footage for trying to speak to the 999 call who | :13:28. | :13:33.
initially reported the fire. In a case like this it is vital that the | :13:34. | :13:39.
police get an early grip of the circumstances and exactly what has | :13:40. | :13:42.
gone on, and that was not what happened here. As a consequence, | :13:43. | :13:47.
evidence and opportunities may well have been lost and people might not | :13:48. | :13:51.
have been caught for a serious arson attacks. The Sean Dolan club has | :13:52. | :13:56.
welcomed the Police Ombudsman's investigation. We are pleased with | :13:57. | :14:02.
the report that indicates us at the time of the fire and we are hoping | :14:03. | :14:06.
lessons have been learned for the police on this. The Sean Dolan club | :14:07. | :14:14.
now hopes to build a new clubhouse and maintain links it has had with | :14:15. | :14:22.
the area since the 1970s. A 50-year-old man has been arrested | :14:23. | :14:26.
in connection with a stabbing in Belfast at this fishing tackle shop | :14:27. | :14:31.
in the upper Newtownards Road. A man was stabbed in the head and neck. It | :14:32. | :14:36.
is thought his injuries are not life-threatening. | :14:37. | :14:41.
Life in the firing line as reservists train for battle. | :14:42. | :14:48.
While most schools are winding down to the summer holidays, | :14:49. | :14:51.
15 groups of schools are waiting to hear which, if any, | :14:52. | :14:55.
of them will be selected to push ahead on ideas for shared campuses. | :14:56. | :14:59.
The rules about what they could apply for were pretty flexible. | :15:00. | :15:03.
In the first of two reports on this, our education correspondent | :15:04. | :15:06.
Maggie Taggart looks at the plans of some secondary and grammar schools. | :15:07. | :15:15.
These schools in North Belfast say their sports facilities aren't up to | :15:16. | :15:22.
scratch. Saint Malachy 's College uses pitches squeezed behind the | :15:23. | :15:26.
school and Belfast Royal Academy pupils have to travel miles to play | :15:27. | :15:30.
sports. They formed a group to bid for a joint sports centre. It would | :15:31. | :15:35.
be on this site owned by Saint Malachy 's but unused since the | :15:36. | :15:39.
1970s because of fears of sectarian attack. Good viewing for both of the | :15:40. | :15:48.
pitches. For us, it is something we have needed for the last 20 years | :15:49. | :15:53.
and for Belfast Royal Academy, it would save them travel time, so we | :15:54. | :15:57.
would hope to share a lot in terms of support -- support and GCSE | :15:58. | :16:05.
curriculum is an A-level. The primary school next to the site is | :16:06. | :16:10.
cars Glenn. In this easy road, its games opportunities are restricted | :16:11. | :16:14.
and it is included in the shared sports centre plan. We could include | :16:15. | :16:19.
sports like football on the pitch, potentially do some rugby, there is | :16:20. | :16:24.
the possibility of a little deal at as well. In Ballycastle they are | :16:25. | :16:29.
cooperating on a different idea -- a little gaily. At a gallop. The two | :16:30. | :16:37.
principles work closely together already. Here in Ballycastle is a | :16:38. | :16:44.
short distance between the high school on one side and the Catholic | :16:45. | :16:47.
school on the other. Pupils will this route frequently with the help | :16:48. | :16:52.
of extra money they hope to do even more sharing in the future. Their | :16:53. | :16:56.
plan is for two new schools and to shared centres, one on each side. | :16:57. | :17:05.
One concentrating on subjects like science and engineering and ICT and | :17:06. | :17:09.
the other about sport and creative subjects. But the schools draw the | :17:10. | :17:13.
line at becoming completely integrated. Parents in Ballycastle | :17:14. | :17:20.
at the moment have a choice of either a faith -based education or | :17:21. | :17:23.
not, and that is where this community is at at present. The | :17:24. | :17:28.
groups will hear this month which of them have been selected to face the | :17:29. | :17:30.
next hurdle, but no one knows home at money will be needed or where it | :17:31. | :17:33.
will come from. -- how much money. And tomorrow Maggie will look | :17:34. | :17:39.
at some more contenders She's been to visit primary | :17:40. | :17:42.
schools with high hopes. Last week | :17:43. | :17:47.
the world's media attention was These days, the modern army relies | :17:48. | :17:49.
more and more on reservists. Over 400 members of the TA, | :17:50. | :17:54.
including units from Northern Ireland, have recently | :17:55. | :17:56.
taken part in the largest military Men and women from all walks | :17:57. | :17:59.
of life were engaged in a mock battle on the west coast of | :18:00. | :18:03.
Scotland, and our reporter Mervyn The more realistic the mock battle, | :18:04. | :18:18.
the better the training for those involved. And with the Territorial | :18:19. | :18:23.
Army taking on more of the heavy lifting when the military units are | :18:24. | :18:28.
deployed around the world, this type of exercise is vital in building the | :18:29. | :18:33.
skills needed for coming back alive. Let's go, guys. A Chinook cashback | :18:34. | :18:41.
and RAF Chinook helicopter joined the units, used to move infantry and | :18:42. | :18:48.
equipment toward the front line. The aircraft came into their own during | :18:49. | :18:53.
operations in Afghanistan. But it is not all guns. Women also have | :18:54. | :18:58.
important roles within the full and part-time services. It keeps my | :18:59. | :19:03.
fitness levels up and it is just good fun. What about you, you are | :19:04. | :19:11.
smiling so you must agree? I am, there are fantastic opportunities so | :19:12. | :19:15.
it is great fun. You are putting your life on the line, aren't you? | :19:16. | :19:21.
Yes, but you know that before you join up so it is a possibility. It | :19:22. | :19:26.
is a part of my life and the part of me, so it is who I am. Over that | :19:27. | :19:31.
Hill are the good guys, trying to sneak through the forest and to raid | :19:32. | :19:35.
to get those two here and retake this position without losing too | :19:36. | :19:41.
many men. Rapid-fire! In the heat of battle, command and control are | :19:42. | :19:46.
crucial and the level of personal fitness helps. Exhausting, out of | :19:47. | :19:53.
breath, but all good fun. What is the main objective for you, it | :19:54. | :19:56.
includes to these positions without being seen? We're trying to get as | :19:57. | :20:02.
close as we can without being seen. Didn't feel like the real thing? I'm | :20:03. | :20:09.
too exhausted to even think about the real thing. In recent years, the | :20:10. | :20:16.
term weekend soldier has deadly been raised when considering the role of | :20:17. | :20:18.
reserve its in the modern-day army. -- steadily been erased. | :20:19. | :20:28.
Sport now, and with little more than six weeks before the action begins, | :20:29. | :20:31.
Northern Ireland has revealed its largest ever team for | :20:32. | :20:34.
There will be a total of 117 athletes from the shores waking the | :20:35. | :20:45.
trip to Glasgow. The boxers are the best prospects and Paralympic gold | :20:46. | :20:51.
medallists Jason Smyth and Bethany Firth have also been named in the | :20:52. | :20:59.
team. Jason Smyth did not receive the consideration standard but | :21:00. | :21:04.
Northern Ireland authorities believe he will do them justice. He has | :21:05. | :21:09.
competed at the highest level and we believe he is someone who has the | :21:10. | :21:13.
experience to put himself in a position that he will do the best he | :21:14. | :21:19.
can at the Commonwealth Games, so we have no problem putting his name | :21:20. | :21:24.
for. 14 athletes have been chosen, including hurdlers Jason Harvey and | :21:25. | :21:28.
Ben Reynolds, as well as pole vault is a wee brown, who will go to her | :21:29. | :21:35.
fourth gain -- games. Bethany Firth cannot wait to compete in the | :21:36. | :21:42.
competition. I had competed at the Paralympic games and my event was | :21:43. | :21:45.
not picked for these Commonwealth Games but I am amazed I got picked | :21:46. | :21:50.
in the aquatics category and I will swim against amazing people. Martyn | :21:51. | :21:56.
Irvine leads the cycling team along with silver medallists, while in | :21:57. | :22:02.
lawn bowls, Neil Booth will look to add to his tally at his previous | :22:03. | :22:09.
Commonwealth Games. And gymnast Luke Carson's recovery from leg injury | :22:10. | :22:14.
could be a story of the summer. With 170 competitors, it is the largest | :22:15. | :22:16.
Northern Ireland squad ever name. First you lose David Humphreys | :22:17. | :22:21.
as director of rugby and then land a stinker of a draw for the new-look | :22:22. | :22:27.
European Challenge Cup. It hasn?t been a great few days | :22:28. | :22:30.
for Ulster. They were placed in Pool 3 alongside | :22:31. | :22:33.
the reigning European Champions, Toulon, as well as the | :22:34. | :22:36.
Leicester Tigers and Scarlets. Munster drew Saracens, Clermont | :22:37. | :22:38.
and Sale, while Leinster have The US Open Golf Championship tees | :22:39. | :22:41.
off in North Carolina this Thursday. Tonight we hear from two of | :22:42. | :22:49.
Northern Ireland?s golfers, Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell, who won | :22:50. | :22:52.
the tournament four years ago. Graeme McDowell won the tournament | :22:53. | :23:03.
two years ago. From the US, here Stephen Watson. Pinehurst is | :23:04. | :23:09.
regarded as one of the world's most celebrated golf courses, steeped in | :23:10. | :23:14.
history and this year restored to how it looked a century ago. The | :23:15. | :23:18.
unique sandhills reminding them a goal back home. It's got a little | :23:19. | :23:24.
bit of everything here. I sometimes think I'm in Portrush. The US Open | :23:25. | :23:30.
is very special to me. I'm better prepared than I ever was for these | :23:31. | :23:34.
types of test, it doesn't necessarily mean you will have | :23:35. | :23:40.
success, but means I am ready if the good stuff comes along. Watching on, | :23:41. | :23:49.
as always, is his dad. He is hoping his son can rewind the clock to | :23:50. | :23:55.
2010. And Graeme McDowell's dream has come true. For it to happen to | :23:56. | :24:01.
us, coming from Portrush, is unbelievable. I remember very well, | :24:02. | :24:09.
I said, you are some kid. I could have said many a thing but | :24:10. | :24:13.
thankfully I didn't, we have it taped to watch again and it still | :24:14. | :24:19.
brings a tear to the eye. Did you ever get the DVD out and relive | :24:20. | :24:25.
those moments? Know, and maybe I should, I am trying to be a little | :24:26. | :24:30.
sharper with my golf and I am trying to visualise what I achieved this | :24:31. | :24:33.
year and beyond. I want to achieve more in my career, so this will be a | :24:34. | :24:37.
great way to start the summer. Trying to kick-start his season is | :24:38. | :24:42.
Darren Clarke, who has been working with the coach to help them when he | :24:43. | :24:47.
won his championship years ago. We work together for many years and I | :24:48. | :24:51.
haven't seen him as much as I would have liked to, but he is a very good | :24:52. | :24:57.
man. He knows me Inside Out and hopefully we will get something that | :24:58. | :25:00.
clicks this week and get back to scoring properly. So with Doctor Bob | :25:01. | :25:05.
Rotella and shots like this, Darren Clarke may discover his major | :25:06. | :25:10.
winning form as our golfers try to continue Northern Ireland's be | :25:11. | :25:13.
marketable record in this tournament. | :25:14. | :25:17.
And more from Pinehurst this evening. -- tomorrow. | :25:18. | :25:23.
Finally, the Republic of Ireland play Portugal in New Jersey in | :25:24. | :25:26.
the small hours of our time tonight in an international friendly, with | :25:27. | :25:30.
He was dripping with sweat and still manage to smell like a perfumery. We | :25:31. | :25:38.
are told lightning has hit equipment on the railway line and this | :25:39. | :25:42.
evening's enterprise service stopped at Dundalk. We have had | :25:43. | :25:48.
thunderstorms all over the place. Barra, your lightning bolt is back | :25:49. | :25:53.
tonight. We have had exciting weather for some of us today and | :25:54. | :25:58.
that heavy weather warning remains in force this evening. Today you can | :25:59. | :26:03.
see those showers rattling up across the island, bring some heavy | :26:04. | :26:09.
downpours with some hail mixed in. Those will continue this evening but | :26:10. | :26:13.
overnight most will die away and believe behind drier conditions. | :26:14. | :26:18.
There are clearer skies, a cooler nights but not too chilly, | :26:19. | :26:20.
temperatures are around eight or 9 degrees. A little mist or fog in | :26:21. | :26:26.
Southern counties by the morning but otherwise a dry and bright start. | :26:27. | :26:31.
Tomorrow is like the calm after the storm, plenty of dry and bright | :26:32. | :26:35.
weather and some good periods if you want to get out and cut the grass, | :26:36. | :26:39.
we have a few showers but they will be few and far between you will be | :26:40. | :26:43.
unlucky if you catch one of those. Into the afternoon, plenty of dry | :26:44. | :26:49.
and bright weather, a little cloud bubbling up with the odd isolated | :26:50. | :26:55.
shower to watch out for. In the sunshine temperatures will reach the | :26:56. | :26:58.
high teens, maybe even 20 degrees, so not bad for the time of year and | :26:59. | :27:03.
most of us will end the day on a fine night, 20 of sunshine if you | :27:04. | :27:07.
have any activities planned. Overnight into Thursday, and little | :27:08. | :27:12.
cloud will move in bringing temperatures up to 12 or 13 degrees. | :27:13. | :27:18.
It threatens a little wet weather on Thursday, most likely for parts of | :27:19. | :27:21.
the north coast and down through and from. Most places inland stay dry | :27:22. | :27:26.
and bright with 20 of sunshine and temperatures up again, up to 21 | :27:27. | :27:31.
degrees and with light winds it will feel nice and warm. For the rest of | :27:32. | :27:37.
the week, there maybe a little damp weather on but high pressure builds | :27:38. | :27:39.
and that promises to bring more settled weather. We will see you at | :27:40. | :27:45.
the same time tomorrow. Have a good evening. | :27:46. | :27:47. |
