An official Stormont report into allegations made about the

conduct of Peter Robinson and his wife, Iris, by the BBC's Spotlight

programme has been complete for more than seven months.

But its publication has been delayed by a legal challenge from

from the Assembly's standards watchdog, which was released today.

It was business as normal for Peter Robinson. The BBC Spotlight

programme of January 2010 was one of the most explosive expose a is

broadcast in Northern Ireland. It detailed Thai Iris Robinson had

helped her teenage lover to set up a business. The programme alleged she

obtained ?50,000 from to property developers to help him run a cafe in

south Belfast. Within days of the broadcast, the Assembly standards

committee ordered an investigation. But, for in the happy years on, that

report still has not been published. The Stormont standards Commissioner

explained the delay. My investigation was finished last year

but publication of the report to the committee has been delayed because

of legal issues that are still outstanding. How quickly would you

hope to resolve that? I am always hopeful that it will be resolved

quickly. I absolutely defend the right of anyone to challenge

anything they think is inappropriate. Iris Robinson's

solicitor told the BBC that he has a range of concerns about

documentation included with the draft report. Those concerns include

the relevancy of the material, Iris Robinson's privacy and the impact

any publication might have on her health and recovery. Those on the

standard committee are unlikely to consider the report until the autumn

and it will be up to them to decide when the report should be published

and what action should be recommended.

After a pretty unsettled day weather-wise, here's Barra Best

with tomorrow's forecast. It has been a disappointing day with

a fair amount of rain around. Overnight, we will continue to see

spells of rain coming and going. It will not be a cold night with

temperatures staying at 13 or 14 degrees. There will be some rain

around first thing tomorrow, but it will be an improving picture on

today. To begin with, cloudy, damp starts. Towards mid-morning, it will

improve from the East. It will not be a bad start of the day across

many areas of the Irish Midlands. This rain will move into some areas

of Wales and southeastern -- southwestern England. For Northern

Ireland is, we are expecting a much better picture tomorrow afternoon.

Many areas will have a dry and bright afternoon. Where we get the

sun tomorrow, temperatures will be close to 20 degrees. With the

onshore breezes on the east coast, it will feel a bit cooler. On to

Friday, for the north coast and look set to stay dry and bright. Some

rain in the southern counties through the day did not just way
