Relatives of the six men murdered by loyalists in Loughinisland

in 1994 have paid their respects in the Heights Bar

of yesterday morning because it didn't have planning permission.

Thousands of loyalists have paraded through Belfast to commemorate

the centenary of the Battle of the Somme.

The event was organised by the 2016 centenary committee.

A wreath was laid at the cenotaph and later in the afternoon

a re-enactment was staged at Woodvale park in West Belfast.

The trench warfare scene is due to be used in a film.

It has been a lovely day across much of the East. A bit more clout in the

West End that will thicken up to bring some rain through the evening
