And we've got rain in the forecast tonight but we should see the sun | :00:50. | :00:52.
make a return appearance before the end of play tomorrow. | :00:53. | :00:55.
First to that arrest in Brazil of Pat Hickey. | :00:56. | :01:05.
He is not only President of the Irish Olympic Council | :01:06. | :01:08.
but an International Olympic Committee executive. | :01:09. | :01:13.
He was detained by the police in Rio De Janeiro | :01:14. | :01:15.
over the alleged illegal sale of Olympic Games tickets. | :01:16. | :01:20.

at a hotel at six o'clock this morning - local time. | :01:37. | :01:40.
Detectives went to his hotel room, where he was seen by a doctor | :01:41. | :01:43.
before being taken into custody for questioning. | :01:44. | :01:45.
attending a number of Olympic events. | :01:46. | :01:50.
Last week, the trip was overshadowed by the arrest of another Irishman | :01:51. | :01:53.
in the same police investigation into alleged ticket touting. | :01:54. | :01:59.
Let's go live to Rio and to Stephen Watson, | :02:00. | :02:01.
who's been covering the games for us. | :02:02. | :02:12.
Stephen, he has temporarily stepped aside from his Olympic position. But | :02:13. | :02:21.
explain to us how this has come about. 'S here is the most powerful | :02:22. | :02:27.
man in Irish sport. He has stood down temporarily Webbers police | :02:28. | :02:30.
investigation is underway. This morning, at around 7am, and | :02:31. | :02:35.
laboratories in the dramatic pictures, police came to his room in | :02:36. | :02:38.
the Olympic family Hotel and arrested him in his bathrobe. It is | :02:39. | :02:42.
all part of a Brazilian police investigation into illegal Olympic | :02:43. | :02:47.
ticketing sales. He is suspected of being involved in a scheme to sell | :02:48. | :02:51.
the tickets or higher than their face value. Police also confirmed | :02:52. | :02:56.
that they took the 71-year-old to hospital as a precaution, and that | :02:57. | :02:59.
is where we believe he remains at the moment. The police have also | :03:00. | :03:03.
seized his passport, his airline ticket and credentials and will | :03:04. | :03:08.
retain them until this investigation is complete. This morning, when the | :03:09. | :03:12.
police came to the rim, at first they found his wife in the room and | :03:13. | :03:18.
she is believed to have told them that Pat Hicky had already left and | :03:19. | :03:21.
gone home to Ireland. For the police began a search of the hotel early in | :03:22. | :03:25.
the morning, in the gym and restaurant, and eventually they | :03:26. | :03:30.
located Pat Hicky in the room next door, believed to have belonged to | :03:31. | :03:35.
his sun. A short time ago, I spoke to a journalist who was an | :03:36. | :03:38.
eyewitness this morning and this is what he had to say. | :03:39. | :03:43.
Not only him, but the entire IOC, because so many of them, the lobby, | :03:44. | :03:48.
they were very surprised first of all but very embarrassed. That was, | :03:49. | :03:55.
I think, they main Mold that they were this morning. A lot of people | :03:56. | :04:07.
asking questions. They had a lot of trouble finding him at first because | :04:08. | :04:10.
he was not in his rain. In part, you have to recognise that this is a bit | :04:11. | :04:14.
of a show by the police in order to prove locally and internationally | :04:15. | :04:16.
that it has a role. You mentioned that you believe he is | :04:17. | :04:28.
in hospital. Any more details about that and his medical condition? | :04:29. | :04:32.
We have no further updates but we do know that he cited a heart problem | :04:33. | :04:34.
that has been taken there as a precaution because of his age and we | :04:35. | :04:47.
expect him to sit overnight. The Executive committee for the Olympic | :04:48. | :04:50.
games held a press conference and they said they would make no further | :04:51. | :04:53.
comment about it. There are others are concerned about the arrest of | :04:54. | :04:56.
one of their members but until the police investigation is complete, | :04:57. | :04:59.
they would say nothing more. They declined to comment on the specifics | :05:00. | :05:05.
of that arrest but say they have every confidence in the police | :05:06. | :05:06.
investigation. The Republic's sports minister | :05:07. | :05:14.
has been in Brazil and has issued a statement - | :05:15. | :05:16.
what does it say? He has already had a meeting with | :05:17. | :05:27.
Pat Hicky about his alleged things he is alleged to have done and Pat | :05:28. | :05:30.
Hicky said under no circumstances was there any impropriety from him | :05:31. | :05:34.
or anybody associated with the Olympic Council of Ireland. Mist or | :05:35. | :05:38.
Ross has today said that we will fly home to Ireland immediately, or as | :05:39. | :05:41.
soon as possible, because of the seriousness of what has happened. | :05:42. | :05:43.
move following some controversial results in the boxing - | :05:44. | :05:47.
including that of Belfast's Michael Conlan - | :05:48. | :05:48.
Well, we remember yesterday that Michael Conlan was very outspoken | :05:49. | :06:06.
about the judging of his site when he was knocked out of the | :06:07. | :06:10.
competition at the quarterfinal stage. He said the judges should | :06:11. | :06:13.
have awarded the fight to him and not as Russian opponent. The | :06:14. | :06:18.
governing body of boxing promised an investigation ride across the board | :06:19. | :06:22.
of all 239 sites that have taken place here so far. They said today | :06:23. | :06:27.
that after that reviewed have been a handful of results that they are | :06:28. | :06:31.
perhaps unhappy with and the judges involved in those contests will no | :06:32. | :06:34.
longer be officiating at these games. What we do know is Michael | :06:35. | :06:40.
Conlan's fight, weather it is one of those 239 contests that they | :06:41. | :06:44.
believed to have been a wrong decision. | :06:45. | :06:50.
We will return to Stephen later with news of some of the action of | :06:51. | :06:51.
today's games. Two sisters from Belfast have | :06:52. | :06:54.
settled sexual harassment claims Kirstie and Courtney McKeever | :06:55. | :06:56.
complained about the behaviour They agreed settlements | :06:57. | :06:59.
of ?14,000 and ?16,000. Courtney and Kirstie were both | :07:00. | :07:19.
teenagers when they started working at the KFC restaurant but they | :07:20. | :07:22.
resigned, saying a male colleague had sexually harassed them and made | :07:23. | :07:29.
working there impossible. Courtney spoke to Good Morning Ulster about | :07:30. | :07:34.
what they had to endure. On a few occasions, both of us would come | :07:35. | :07:37.
home crying because of what he said to us and it made me feel like he | :07:38. | :07:40.
had power over me because they get licking my cheeks and whenever we | :07:41. | :07:45.
were on shifts together, split shifts, every opportunity he got. I | :07:46. | :07:49.
just got fed up of it and said it was too much and I just walked up | :07:50. | :07:52.
and didn't ever go back. And then I made a complaint and went and got | :07:53. | :07:57.
legal advice of a solicitor. KFC say that after they heard about the | :07:58. | :08:00.
allegations, the investigated or so and then took action. As a result, | :08:01. | :08:05.
the employee at the centre of the complaints was dismissed. The branch | :08:06. | :08:11.
of KFC at the centre of the case is run by Belfast- based Herbal | :08:12. | :08:16.
Restaurants. In a statement, they said... | :08:17. | :08:27.
The equality commission praised the two sisters for speaking out about | :08:28. | :08:33.
what happened to them. I think it is completely unacceptable, that sexual | :08:34. | :08:38.
harassment still, regrettably, forms part of many working women's legs. | :08:39. | :08:45.
These are any teenagers working a part-time job getting a bit of money | :08:46. | :08:48.
together and they had to leave their jobs and we would encourage more | :08:49. | :08:51.
woman to complain if they are made to feel uncomfortable or threatened | :08:52. | :08:54.
in any way and the workplace. The case was settled out of court at a | :08:55. | :08:56.
total cost of ?30,000. A stretch of road between Belfast | :08:57. | :09:02.
and Londonderry is to be upgraded | :09:03. | :09:04.
to dual carriageway. Work is due to begin in October | :09:05. | :09:05.
on nine miles of the A6 between As Will Leitch reports, | :09:06. | :09:09.
the construction will be on two sections of road either side | :09:10. | :09:12.
of the bypass at Toomebridge. For 18,000 crowd users taking this | :09:13. | :09:32.
route every day, a shorter journey is in sight. The mock-up shows the | :09:33. | :09:36.
driving experience after work starting this October, and taking | :09:37. | :09:41.
four years and ?160 million. There is a real need to tackle and address | :09:42. | :09:47.
the infrastructure over the last number of years. This is a priority | :09:48. | :09:52.
for me, the Afive and Asix. When you're looking to rebalance the | :09:53. | :09:55.
economy any regional way, in Derry, this is the way to do it. It is | :09:56. | :10:00.
vitally important that we invest in on the structure projects such as | :10:01. | :10:03.
this and I am delighted to be doing so. Plans for this scheme date back | :10:04. | :10:08.
30 years and for some a definite construction schedule is good news. | :10:09. | :10:10.
There was a bit of ambiguity during the summer months that it may fall | :10:11. | :10:14.
off the table, so I think that removes any uncertainty. We do now | :10:15. | :10:17.
know something is going to start with this year. Of course, we still | :10:18. | :10:21.
have to be sure that the contract is in mind the concerns of some of the | :10:22. | :10:25.
landowners. In mixture of whatever can be done to accommodate them so | :10:26. | :10:28.
that this is a win-win for everyone. Unlike some other road improvement | :10:29. | :10:33.
schemes, this one won't be falling so much of the existing route, and | :10:34. | :10:37.
that means miles of new dual carriageway through open | :10:38. | :10:40.
countryside. Some of it environmental and cultural | :10:41. | :10:45.
significance. Those stretches away from the existing road are | :10:46. | :10:49.
unsettling for some local people, convinced there could be a better | :10:50. | :10:54.
route. Seamus wrote his early poems about this landscape and the | :10:55. | :10:57.
construction is already scheduled to avoid disturbing nurse once. It | :10:58. | :11:02.
appears to be a fait accompli, but, to be honest, in tandem with a few | :11:03. | :11:08.
other people, we have invested so much time and energy in putting our | :11:09. | :11:19.
case forward time after time that... Until the diggers arrive, we feel | :11:20. | :11:24.
that we still have to keep pointing out that we think that it is wrong. | :11:25. | :11:30.
Early preparatory work before a full construction has already begun. | :11:31. | :11:35.
has fallen to its lowest level in eight years. | :11:36. | :11:38.
The latest Government figures show 600 people came off | :11:39. | :11:40.
as our business correspondent Julian O'Neill reports. | :11:41. | :11:50.
Today's data is positive. The jobless total has not been this | :11:51. | :11:57.
floor since November 2000 and eight. July recorded another fall to just | :11:58. | :12:02.
over 30 6000. Problems like long-term and youth unemployment | :12:03. | :12:05.
remain, but over the past year there has been progress, with people like | :12:06. | :12:12.
this shop worker held on to work to a government scheme. They give you | :12:13. | :12:16.
great help as well and with interview techniques and | :12:17. | :12:20.
communication skills and things you need to do, so it kind of set you up | :12:21. | :12:25.
for that period. Straight on, unemployed, Streatham. Wanted the | :12:26. | :12:31.
motion started, it takes a short period of time to find work. -- once | :12:32. | :12:35.
you get the motion started. This factory on the outskirts of Belfast | :12:36. | :12:39.
has been hiring at the door queue shortening could be a factor in | :12:40. | :12:43.
fewer applicants for job openings. We have had a situation where we | :12:44. | :12:47.
have offered people a position and they have accepted and then | :12:48. | :12:50.
subsequently they have actually withdrawn because they have had a | :12:51. | :12:54.
better offer, and we are seeing that more often now. To two years ago, we | :12:55. | :12:58.
would have had three times the number of applicants proposed that | :12:59. | :13:03.
we are getting today. But Northern Ireland still compares poorly with | :13:04. | :13:07.
Great Britain in key areas of the labour market. For example, median | :13:08. | :13:11.
wages, which are lower by about ?40 per week. The gap is narrowing it | :13:12. | :13:17.
has been there for 20 years. And here, a lower proportion of people | :13:18. | :13:22.
of working age are in jobs. Our employment rate is 69%, the UK | :13:23. | :13:30.
average is 74.5%. With the device having been consistent over the last | :13:31. | :13:35.
ten years. Today's figures also show there was no negative Brexit effect | :13:36. | :13:39.
in the month after the referendum, but it is much too early to form any | :13:40. | :13:44.
picture of how the UK withdrawal from the EU will play out in the | :13:45. | :13:45.
jobs front. Earlier, we heard about the fallout | :13:46. | :13:47.
of controversial decisions with some judges and | :13:48. | :13:49.
referees being dropped. With all of Team Ireland's boxers | :13:50. | :13:55.
out of the competition, Ita Dungan has been | :13:56. | :13:57.
to the Holy Family Boxing Club The dream of making it. The medals, | :13:58. | :14:20.
the titles, the fame, but not this. They stole my Olympics, they have | :14:21. | :14:23.
robbed me of something I deemed of my life. I wanted to be an Olympic | :14:24. | :14:28.
champion and today that dream was robbed of me. I just felt really | :14:29. | :14:32.
sorry for him because of the way he was getting on and all and he knew | :14:33. | :14:37.
he won it but the decision didn't go his way. And those that have an | :14:38. | :14:42.
impact on the way you see the Olympics, or is it still something | :14:43. | :14:47.
you would love to do? No, the Olympics is something I would always | :14:48. | :14:52.
love to do but... It is just hard seeing a few people from boxing | :14:53. | :14:59.
getting robbed out of the Olympics. But at is still something I would | :15:00. | :15:03.
love to do. What about you? I would love to do it as well. What are the | :15:04. | :15:10.
chances? I don't know! Gerry's coached boxers to the | :15:11. | :15:16.
Olympic Games. He also strongly or of a podium is. This gym will be | :15:17. | :15:20.
packed tonight with the kids, every night of the week posted a there and | :15:21. | :15:23.
here, and the rest of the clubs will be the same. There are number one | :15:24. | :15:26.
mission is keeping the kids off the street. But it is very sad when | :15:27. | :15:35.
you're building them up and the work they putting into it and, believe | :15:36. | :15:38.
you me, no matter what happens when Tokyo comes around, the boxing and | :15:39. | :15:40.
Ireland will be their number one for results. Number one for winning and | :15:41. | :15:43.
number one for bringing back medals. Maybe not Tokyo, but this Olympic | :15:44. | :15:46.
boxing medallist believes Michael Conlan's career is far from over. | :15:47. | :15:50.
Some people train all their lives and don't even get to go to the | :15:51. | :15:54.
Olympics. Michael Conlan's tasted the Olympic Games twice. | :15:55. | :15:57.
Unfortunately, it has not been in a nice taste this game but there is a | :15:58. | :16:00.
lot out there for Michael Conlan inbox. Success in the amateur boxing | :16:01. | :16:04.
world is tough. Physically, mentally and financially. Michael Conlan had | :16:05. | :16:10.
made it. He was reigning world, European and Commonwealth champion. | :16:11. | :16:16.
Whether or not yesterday's decision in the ring will have any impact on | :16:17. | :16:18.
boxers like this remains to be seen. A leading food company, Dale Farm, | :16:19. | :16:22.
says it's committed to investing ?20 million in the years | :16:23. | :16:26.
ahead, even though there is uncertainty over future trade | :16:27. | :16:29.
relations with the European Union. Last month, the First | :16:30. | :16:36.
and Deputy First Ministers said our economy, which is heavily | :16:37. | :16:38.
reliant on agriculture and food production, | :16:39. | :16:40.
was "uniquely vulnerable" This report from our | :16:41. | :16:41.
Agriculture and Environment Cheese is big business in Cookstown. | :16:42. | :16:54.
?70 million worth of sales out of this deal farm factory. So it is not | :16:55. | :16:57.
hard to see why they are putting lots of money in. Today, it was the | :16:58. | :17:02.
latest phase of a ?7 million investment. The bulk of this stuff, | :17:03. | :17:07.
80% of it, will go to supermarkets in Britain. But Europe will take | :17:08. | :17:11.
some too. There is of course a huge amount of uncertainty around what | :17:12. | :17:16.
our future trading announcements with Europe will look like, and | :17:17. | :17:18.
there are key to our food economy. Here, they believe they are | :17:19. | :17:22.
well-positioned to respond, no matter what way they killed turns | :17:23. | :17:26.
out. They would like free trade access to European markets, but if | :17:27. | :17:31.
there are tariffs they are a two-way street and they will also apply to | :17:32. | :17:37.
foreign cheese coming into the UK. That will make Cookstown - made | :17:38. | :17:40.
cheddar price competitive, and they hope to shift even more of it in | :17:41. | :17:43.
Great Britain. It is for that reason the company says future investment | :17:44. | :17:47.
decisions will not really rely on the outcome of the Brexit | :17:48. | :17:51.
negotiations. One or two of them which would depend on trade deals, | :17:52. | :17:55.
and if we did not get a trade deal that was free trade then we may not | :17:56. | :17:59.
expand in certain areas. Right now, we have got a pipeline of probably | :18:00. | :18:03.
?29 and projects which we are bringing forward and we are going to | :18:04. | :18:09.
continue with those, regardless of whether the Brexit deal is good or | :18:10. | :18:12.
bad. That is good news for Simon Hamilton, coming so soon after his | :18:13. | :18:16.
party colleague and First Minister to be Prime Minister who Northern | :18:17. | :18:19.
Ireland's economy was uniquely vulnerable to the loss of EU funding | :18:20. | :18:23.
and potential barriers to trade. I think this investment is a sign of | :18:24. | :18:27.
where you see companies continuing to me that important investment, and | :18:28. | :18:31.
it is a business as usual situation. And there were some good news for | :18:32. | :18:35.
Derry farmers today as well. The 1.5 p per litre rising the milk price | :18:36. | :18:40.
reflecting signs of a slow recovery in that badly hit sector. | :18:41. | :18:49.
A woman whose home was targeted in an arson attack in Derry | :18:50. | :18:52.
says she'll not be intimidated into moving out. | :18:53. | :18:54.

spent the day with the charity's volunteers on the north coast. | :19:14. | :19:25.
The RNLI is as firm a fixture on our beaches as the ice cream man. And, | :19:26. | :19:33.
for both, it is peak season. Around 250 volunteers help man the ten | :19:34. | :19:36.
lifeboat stations across Northern Ireland. Last year, they helped save | :19:37. | :19:43.
nearly 500 people. The crews won the rescue skills during regular | :19:44. | :19:52.
training exercises like this one. Many of the volunteers juggle the | :19:53. | :19:57.
charity work with full-time jobs. My day job as I work on the ferries, | :19:58. | :20:02.
week on week off, thought my week of gives me a lot of opportunity to get | :20:03. | :20:06.
stuck in with the crew and do the training and out on the sides. I get | :20:07. | :20:12.
great satisfaction out of building people. It is always good for the | :20:13. | :20:17.
community as well. The busiest day so far this year for | :20:18. | :20:23.
the RNLI here on the RNLI caused -- you're on the coast was when 39,000 | :20:24. | :20:30.
people visited pages on this area in July. On that day alone, there were | :20:31. | :20:34.
five rescues carried out, 16 missing people and 11 people received first | :20:35. | :20:38.
aid treatment. Lifeguards and lifeboat crews respond to everything | :20:39. | :20:43.
from slips and stings to major open water search operations. But they | :20:44. | :20:47.
say it is often ripped currents that put people in danger. The ocean is | :20:48. | :20:51.
not a swimming pool. There are things going on under the service | :20:52. | :20:55.
that you do not see on the surface. A swimming pool doesn't have | :20:56. | :20:57.
undercurrents, the ocean does, and that is what we need to educate | :20:58. | :21:01.
people about more on those dangerous. Go to a less crowded | :21:02. | :21:09.
beach, we have a red and yellow flag system. That is the safest area to | :21:10. | :21:12.
be out for the day. Any questions, approach the lifeguards. They are | :21:13. | :21:15.
experts in their field and our to answer any questions and seeing if | :21:16. | :21:20.
we are going to go out on any boats for the first time, ensure you were | :21:21. | :21:23.
a life jacket and if you're ever in distress, call the Coast Guard. For | :21:24. | :21:26.
those listening to enjoy what is left of summer on the Gosling, the | :21:27. | :21:29.
message is clear, respect the water. -- for those hoping to enjoy what is | :21:30. | :21:31.
left of the summer. Back to the Olympic Games and there | :21:32. | :21:32.
has been some local interest Stephen Watson | :21:33. | :21:36.
has the latest on that. The women's golf got underway today | :21:37. | :21:38.
with two locals in the action - Cavans Leona Maguire | :21:39. | :21:45.
and Stephanie Meadow from Jordanstown were flying | :21:46. | :21:47.
the flag for Ulster and Ireland. Leona McGuire had the honour of | :21:48. | :22:01.
teeing off in the first group this morning at the Olympic course. On | :22:02. | :22:06.
the 21-year-old recorded the first birdie in ladies Olympic gold since | :22:07. | :22:12.
1900 on the opening hole. But that was as good as it got for the world | :22:13. | :22:17.
number one amateur, who struggled to adapt to the Brazilian course, | :22:18. | :22:21.
dropping shots on the front line halls, which ultimately led to the | :22:22. | :22:25.
Duke University student shooting a disappointing 74, to leave a will | :22:26. | :22:33.
pace. I's second player is Stephanie Medel. And, despite a wonderful | :22:34. | :22:37.
birdie on the 5th hole, the 24-year-old carded a 6-over par 77, | :22:38. | :22:43.
meaning both Irish golfers have a lot of work to do on Thursday to | :22:44. | :22:46.
make their way back up the leaderboard. | :22:47. | :22:48.
And who will keep you up-to-date with their progress. Note to a novel | :22:49. | :22:54.
initiative by the Northern Ireland football manager Michael O'Neill. | :22:55. | :22:59.
Post Euro 2016, he as the Irish football Association through social | :23:00. | :23:02.
media to try to find the best young footballing talent in the country. | :23:03. | :23:06.
After getting 600 responses, they have whittled it down to the winner. | :23:07. | :23:14.
It started with an invite they are social media for tryout run for 600 | :23:15. | :23:19.
players whittled down to one trial game under the eyes of the IFA's | :23:20. | :23:25.
elite performance director. We went right across the province. We have | :23:26. | :23:28.
travelled 600 boys. We now see yourself at the view today watching | :23:29. | :23:34.
a fantastic game. And within that, we have seen some outstanding | :23:35. | :23:38.
individual performances. But will the process produce any size? The | :23:39. | :23:42.
only way the programme will be judged a success is when the first | :23:43. | :23:45.
kid walks out at the new national football stadium and all the | :23:46. | :23:50.
quarters in the programme want that boy to be out there as soon as | :23:51. | :23:53.
possible, because then it shows that we have done a good job and that the | :23:54. | :23:58.
boys clubs have done a good job and that Michael and James' ideas are | :23:59. | :24:01.
right. For those lucky enough to be selected, they do now is to emulate | :24:02. | :24:04.
their heroes and play on the biggest possible stage. It would just be | :24:05. | :24:10.
great to eventually come out and, like, be playing for my country. | :24:11. | :24:16.
Just be a professional footballer anyway. I would love to play as an | :24:17. | :24:24.
international. It is just my dream to do. I feel a bit of nerves but | :24:25. | :24:29.
then once you get in just playing football, like any other match, and | :24:30. | :24:32.
just enjoy it. At the end of the day, you just don't want to be there | :24:33. | :24:36.
to make up the numbers, you ought to be there to compete. So a good | :24:37. | :24:40.
opportunity. I am more than happy with the talent we have unearthed | :24:41. | :24:45.
through the process. I think the process is absolutely, 100% | :24:46. | :24:55.
delivered what we expected of it. We knew we would go down to 20 players | :24:56. | :25:00.
and we have unearthed a couple of lads who potentially would not have | :25:01. | :25:04.
come in but we are delighted. From 600, four boys admitted into | :25:05. | :25:11.
the programme and the ambition is to repeat this trial for talent in | :25:12. | :25:14.
years to come. Yes, a great scheme. | :25:15. | :25:18.
Finally, rugby. The skipper, Rory Best, elected to step down from the | :25:19. | :25:29.
role and two players will share the captaincy for the next game. A | :25:30. | :25:32.
reminder that the big breaking news tonight is that the president of | :25:33. | :25:37.
Olympic Council of Ireland, Pat Hicky, has been arrested for the | :25:38. | :25:41.
alleged illegal sale of tickets. The 71-year-old, currently in hospital, | :25:42. | :25:44.
has temporarily stood down from his post. These games, 14 Ireland, have | :25:45. | :25:48.
turned into something of a nightmare. Starting with a better | :25:49. | :25:52.
failing a drugs test and then yesterday's boxing controversy and | :25:53. | :25:55.
this news today, which is made headlines all over the world. | :25:56. | :26:04.
And if we have any update on that Pat Hicky story, we will have it on | :26:05. | :26:06.
our 10:25pm news this evening. Cecilia Daly has | :26:07. | :26:08.
the weather forecast. There is a little bit of rain on the | :26:09. | :26:16.
forecast tonight. Because of the rolling and today, bringing some | :26:17. | :26:20.
rain. Most of that has been falling in the West this afternoon but the | :26:21. | :26:23.
latest radar picture show the rain making its way over towards Eastern | :26:24. | :26:26.
counties as well. It will not be particularly heavy in most places | :26:27. | :26:33.
and it is going to be a warm, humid night, temperatures in many areas | :26:34. | :26:36.
staying in the teams. So quite humid, Misty and murky emblazoned | :26:37. | :26:40.
Boswell first thing tomorrow. But it should improve as the day goes on. | :26:41. | :26:44.
So, if you're up early tomorrow or heading to work, there will be some | :26:45. | :26:50.
rain and you may need an umbrella. Mid to late morning, we will start | :26:51. | :26:56.
to see it using. Likely to the season. Not all, especially where it | :26:57. | :27:02.
tries to Britain. Still one or two some spots of rain, especially | :27:03. | :27:05.
across North Coast and in the West as well. Start to see the best of | :27:06. | :27:12.
the weather with some sunshine developing in these later in the | :27:13. | :27:18.
afternoon and brightening up with. The best part of the evening coming | :27:19. | :27:24.
in the evening ten. This was yesterday evening, some illegal | :27:25. | :27:27.
tapping additions recently, with the offshore wind and fairly decent | :27:28. | :27:33.
swell. Tomorrow evening, it looks like being put in a Titanic area. | :27:34. | :27:36.
Warm and dry at least until midnight. But after midnight, things | :27:37. | :27:42.
will start to change. Rain and freshening winds start to edge up | :27:43. | :27:45.
from the sides and there's wet weather is an area of low pressure, | :27:46. | :27:49.
a deep area of low pressure, which means unusually wet and windy | :27:50. | :27:53.
weather for the end of summer, especially on Friday and the | :27:54. | :27:56.
beginning of the weekend. Although it will improve as the weekend goes | :27:57. | :28:00.
on. But Friday morning is not a pretty picture. Heavy rain and | :28:01. | :28:04.
strong winds not great if you're on holiday. Tie everything down if | :28:05. | :28:08.
you're in a caravan or camping. It will dry up later in the debugger | :28:09. | :28:11.
will be some sharp showers on Saturday. | :28:12. | :28:14.
Thank you for watching and goodbye. Take care. | :28:15. | :28:16. |
