this afternoon at a farm near Silverbridge in an accident

No further details about his death have been released.

A 13-year-old boy is in a serious condition in hospital

after an accident involving a motorcross bike in Limavady.

Officers are also checking an area of nearby woodland.

Yesterday, in Ciaran Maxwell's hometown of Larne, two

houses were searched in connection with this enquiry.

The Royal Marine was arrested yesterday in connection

with an anti-terrorist enquiry involving London's Metropolitan

It is understood to be linked to the discovery of two terrorist

arms loads near Larne earlier this year.

counterterrorism command. Devon police say the search

operations will continue through the weekend as more

officers arrived to help Two officials from the Olympic

council of Ireland, Kevin Kilty and Stephen Martin,

who is from Bangor, are being questioned

by detectives in Brazil. It's understood they are being

interviewed in relation to an investigation into the alleged

mis-selling of Olympic tickets. The arrested official Pat Hickey 's

legal team has also made a second application for bail.

I asked about the latest developments. Around 2pm in the

police in Rio and give statements about what they knew in relation to

did that saying there was no accusation of any wrongdoing by

either man but they simply want to speak to them before they return to

Ireland at the end of the games. Those statements and discussions

with the police have lasted some hours and it remains unclear exactly

what the police have decided but earlier this week in a similar case

a member of the Olympic Council spoke to the police for many hours

and that the police said they had no interest in him and his passport

would be returned and he would be allowed to leave Brazil in due

bail application by Pat Hickey? This is the second time they have

sought to get bail for Pat Hickey who was in prison in a maximum

security prison at the moment and he has been there since he was arrested

last week. His lawyers are seeking to have the bail application

expedited because it can take up to 20 days for a bail hearing to take

place here in Rio where the wheels of justice moves slower than at home

and they are seeking an injunction for this to be heard sooner they say

their client is elderly and he suffers from hyped into --

hypertension and has a heart condition and they are offering to

place him under house arrest here in Brazil if he was allowed bail and

allowed to be released from prison while the investigation takes place.

A decision about whether that injunction is successful could be

due early next week which will speed up the hearing and by the end of

next week at the earliest we should find out whether or not he has been

granted bail but that is the latest move from his legal team here in

Temperatures reached 23 today at the north-east coast but now we have

tonight so tomorrow morning and there is likely to be more cloud

around and some showers for a while in the morning. A good chunk of the

day should become fairly dry and there will be sunshine developing as

the morning goes on and the showers tend to fizzle out. There will be an

area of rain in the north of Scotland and showers in the West of

Scotland but many parts of Britain will have a fine and warm and sunny

day. Mostly dry with sunshine at times the best of it in the east and

south. That is where the best of our sunshine will be as well. Not as

warm as recent days and still up to 20 degrees in places, which is nice,

but cool and fresh tomorrow in the breeze and still perhaps the odd

shower around but mostly dry and it should be dry tomorrow but those who

are heading to Tennents Vital. Tomorrow dry and cloudy weather.

Showers as well as mostly in the north-west but a lot of dry weather

away from the north-west corner. On Sunday it will be dry and cloudy
