The family of a West Belfast man say they feel let down by the justice

system after finding out that his killer is being prepared

Greengrocer Harry Holland was stabbed to death nine years ago.

The teenager who attacked him was sentenced to 12 years

in jail and told there would be no remission.

The daughters of Harry Holland remembering their late father.

Mr Holland was brutally murdered in 2007.

16-year-old Stephen McKee had stabbed him in the head

with a screwdriver and left him to die on the pavement

Nine years on and the family have been told that Stephen McKee

is preparing for his release from jail.

He's now eligible to begin a phased return to the community,

Basically, they are breaking him back into the community again.

This is a violent individual, very dangerous.

He thought nothing of stabbing our dad in the street.

If they are rehabilitated, they have that chance

They need to carefully consider letting him back into the community

again and certainly consider not letting him near our family.

But Stephen McKee will be released and free to live

Something the Holland family say is wrong.

The fact that his murderers have never said sorry and just don't

care hurts even more, and we have to accept that

after serving nine years, he could be back out on the street.

Our family have been let down by the justice system

in every way possible, from the sentencing,

right through to this bombshell that he will be out

I have absolutely no faith in the justice system here.

Talk us through how your lives have changed since his death.

Every happy occasion, it is mixed with sadness.

Our weddings, I got married and my sister got married

You try to be happy, but it is there all the time.

The sisters say that Stephen McKee might be moving on with his life,

but they will never be able to move on with theirs.

He could make someone else feel like this.

I would hate anyone to feel the way I feel, for anyone

called for a thorough and swift investigation.
