He made the confessions in 1985 but, in spite of his admissions,

no charges were brought against him and Henry Clarke's name remained

unknown to the general public until BBC News tracked him down

Police investigating a serious assault in County Antrim last month

have arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
