The catholic Archbishop of Armagh, Eamon Martin, has called

for a mechanism of truth and information retrieval

which will allow more people to come forward with details

about the disappeared and other victims of the Troubles.

He was speaking at the annual Palm Sunday Mass for those whose

The families of the Disappeared have been attending this special Mass

at the Armagh cathedral complex for years.

They include relatives who have already had

the remains of their loved ones returned to them.

Philomena McKee's brother's body was recovered two years ago.

I still know what these people have been through.

in the peace process and he's calling for a formal

mechanism for dealing with truth and information

There are many unsolved cases amongst the Troubles victims

process which will help bring some closure to the very many victims

After quite a bright start, whether today went downhill a bit with the

cloud and rain coming through during the day. We are into some because of

conditions with summer showers continuing overnight tonight and

temperatures actually quite chilly, dipping down to three or 4 degrees.

Into the start of the new week, a relatively settled weather picture

due to the proximity of some high pressure. It's doesn't give us

brilliant weather but this ridge of high pressure does give us a deal of

protection, taking the edge out of any of those Atlantic weather fronts

as they come through. And to Monday, it will be a day of sunshine and

showers, waking up to a breeze out of the north-west and the showers

continuing to drive them from that direction. Through the day, a good

deal of brightness to be found between the showers, but you will

notice the temperatures, highs of ten or 11 degrees. We are into this

cooler Hermas and that can be felt across Britain, Doctor butchers in

southern England of 22 degrees, tomorrow it will be as high as 15,

the sprinkling of showers working for the south throughout the day.

For us, showers will eventually fizzle out on Monday evening,

introducing milder air of a mate, the breeze coming from the south and

west supporters cold into Tuesday as it will be tonight. On Tuesday, a

grey and cloudy day but because the breeze is coming from the south west

it is a more milder direction so introducing warmer air. Reasonably

dry if a little cloudy as we head towards Easter weekend.
