if they have to stay away from the site during construction. Navitus

says it's standard practice for off`shore developments. But some

people in the tourism industry say they should be compensated too.

Steve Humphrey reports. It is a big wind power plan

generating big arguments. The people behind Navitus Bay

to completely eradicate it. A centre in West Sussex for children

with special needs and life`limiting illnesses says it may have to close.

The Camelia Botnar Children's Centre in Goring`by`Sea costs ?250,000 a

year to run. The 20 professional carers have been given a formal one

month's redundancy consultation notice and, if new backers are not

found, the centre will close in July. Sean Killick reports.

Two`year`old Gaby has a form of cerebral palsy. She is one of 70

children attending each week at the Camelia Botnar Children's Centre. It

has been fantastic. She has progressed so much since she has

been here in such a short time. The staff and everyone here are

fantastic. They are all trained, they have all of the equipment they

need. Until 2009, the centre was backed by the Camelia Botnar fund.

Now it is independent and cannot afford the costs. We have tried very

hard to get other people involved but with the current economic

climate, that is not really possible to get anyone to help pass to the

extent that we need the help. The trustees have held a meeting with

staff to update them on the situation but they have been told

that if no new backers are found, this centre will close in July.

The prehistoric White Horse on the hill near Uffington in Oxfordshire

has been getting a face`lift this bank holiday. Volunteers have been

re`chalking the giant figure, which had started to turn grey. To get the

stones back into good condition, they've been using a method which

hasn't changed since it was created 3,000 years ago.

Onto the weather now. Here is David. Good evening. After the warmth and

sunshine of today, it is fresher and much more unsettled for this week

ahead. We will see much more cloud around, a view showers and longer

spells of rain and it will also be breezy. Some rain overnight tonight

and it will be slow to clear first thing tomorrow morning. It will

dwell over parts of Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Overnight, temperatures

down to 11 or 12 degrees. It will clear and for tomorrow morning it

will be bright and dry with sunny spells. Quite a lot of cloud and

then the showers develop into the afternoon, particularly in the

North. A top temperature of 16 degrees. The outlook is unsettled.

Breezy again on Wednesday with the risk of showers and so more

persistent rain on Thursday. Have a good night.
