We can now reveal that the teenager who helped to bury

:00:00.:00:12.

Jayden Parkinson's body is the brother of the man who killdd her.

:00:13.:00:16.

It's halved the amount of w`ste ` so why has its bill

:00:17.:00:21.

Why Oxfordshire County Council had to pay ?8 million

:00:22.:00:25.

of council tax money to central Government last year.

:00:26.:00:29.

The fish that could be worth a million `

:00:30.:00:31.

how a rare Bluefin tuna was found by three friends out kayaking.

:00:32.:00:37.

In at the deep end ` the Reading diver hoping to make

:00:38.:00:41.

Tonight ` we can finally reveal the identity

:00:42.:00:58.

of the teenager accused of helping to bury Jayden Parkinson's body

:00:59.:01:00.

17 year old Jake Blakely is the brother the man who killed her.

:01:01.:01:05.

His identity has been protected until now ` but a judge has made

:01:06.:01:09.

a ruling allowing more detahls to be reported.

:01:10.:01:11.

Jake Blakeley's older brothdr Ben admits killing Jayden `

:01:12.:01:18.

Adina Campbell is outside Oxford Crown Court for us this

:01:19.:01:21.

We now know that Jake Blakeley ` Ben Blakeley's 17 year old brother `

:01:22.:01:27.

is the person on trial over the claims he helped

:01:28.:01:30.

The judge decided to lift the ban on naming the teenager this

:01:31.:01:34.

afternoon ` until this point we ve been unable to report his n`me.

:01:35.:01:37.

Jake Blakeley gave evidence here at Oxford Crown Court last week

:01:38.:01:40.

He told the jury he had nothing to do with

:01:41.:01:43.

Jayden's death and said he thought he was burying weapons in a field

:01:44.:01:47.

in the village of Upton near Didcot where Jayden was first buridd.

:01:48.:01:52.

A few days later, he and his brother went to their Uncle's grave ` where

:01:53.:01:55.

Jake Blakeley claimed he thought he was burying a cat and dog.

:01:56.:02:02.

The 17 year old admits lying to police but denies preventing Jayden

:02:03.:02:06.

Today in court, 22 year old Ben Blakeley from Reading, was thrown

:02:07.:02:13.

out after swearing at prosecutors ` who described him as a liar.

:02:14.:02:18.

The judge ordered Ben Blakeley to be taken out

:02:19.:02:21.

Prosecutors also told the court he was prone to losing his temper

:02:22.:02:25.

and claimed he had violentlx beaten up Jayden before she was killed

:02:26.:02:30.

Jayden was last seen on the 3rd of December when she met Ben

:02:31.:02:33.

Test results have revealed she died from neck pressure.

:02:34.:02:42.

Ben Blakeley admits killing her and burying her but denies lurder.

:02:43.:02:46.

More than ?8 million of council taxpayers money was taken from

:02:47.:02:55.

Oxfordshire by central government last year ` because of the `mount

:02:56.:02:58.

The local authority is made to pay every year for every tonne

:02:59.:03:03.

Despite being the BEST council for recycling in the countrx, the

:03:04.:03:08.

amount its paying in landfill tax has more than doubled in a decade.

:03:09.:03:11.

Lorry load after lorry load of our waste is brought to this Oxfordshire

:03:12.:03:20.

But for each tonne of rubbish buried in the ground

:03:21.:03:26.

It's to encourage it to recxcle more so EU recycling targets can be hit.

:03:27.:03:35.

The problem is that landfill tax bill is rising.

:03:36.:03:38.

Oxfordshire County Council had to pay out more than ?8 million

:03:39.:03:42.

last year to government as did Buckinghamshire County Council.

:03:43.:03:46.

As for the large town of Milton Keynes well that cost it more

:03:47.:03:49.

Now some are saying we've been too slow to act.

:03:50.:04:07.

Councils should have taken darlier action to mitigate the impact.

:04:08.:04:17.

The irony is we're taking more of our rubbish `

:04:18.:04:19.

to recycling centres like this one in Wallingford ` than ever before.

:04:20.:04:22.

The reason the bill is rising is because the tax on each tonne

:04:23.:04:25.

of landfill is going up by 8% every year making it lore

:04:26.:04:28.

The ruling Conservatives on Oxfordshire County Counchl

:04:29.:04:31.

concede they hate to see the money leave ` but they hnsist

:04:32.:04:34.

We are commissioning an inchnerator. It will be up and running at about

:04:35.:04:51.

September. That will mean that the material we are landfilling will be

:04:52.:04:53.

significantly reduced. Many feel landfill tax takes much

:04:54.:04:58.

needed money away from local communities ` but over

:04:59.:05:00.

the last decade or so there hasn't The Bishop of Oxford has

:05:01.:05:03.

welcomed today's decision to The Right Reverend John Pritchard

:05:04.:05:09.

:05:10.:05:13.

of the legislation. The vote means women will bd able to

:05:14.:05:15.

carry out the role Bishop John said it was

:05:16.:05:18.

a day to celebrate. We'll have more

:05:19.:05:21.

on the story later in South Today. Firefighters across the reghon are

:05:42.:05:45.

of services were affected. The main rail line between Reading

:08:19.:08:20.

and Paddington, was shut for more than three hours, as Network Rail

:08:55.:09:10.

they spotted something in the water. I wanted to go and see what it was.

:09:11.:09:18.

This is what they found. A two metre long bluefin tuna.

:09:19.:09:24.

Once it got to the point th`t we could not track any further song

really heavy. The dead fish was photographed by a

local resident, records Marhne strandings.

:09:43.:09:48.

It was just unbelievable. Nobody has ever seen anything like it before.

:09:49.:09:54.

To see a creature that big, it was quite mind`blowing. The fish is a

:09:55.:10:02.

highly sought after delicacx, especially in Japan, where ht is

eaten raw. This one could bd worth hundreds of thousands pounds but it

is illegal to catch for sell the species from British waters.

We just came to Cornwall for a nice weekend, and found a ?1 million

was announced fisherman could apply for EU compensation. Today, Tony

told me the scheme has been helpful, but slow. But the fact the Tyne

skill is quite long, becausd paperwork was quite involved. But

:12:52.:12:54.

there is a time delay. We h`d to get quotes. It is quite time consuming,

:12:55.:13:03.

but it has been very good. The marine management organhsation

told us... So far, fishermen start receiving payments, then thd problem
