Tributes have been paid to a Southampton couple who were

Roopesh and Kavita Nawarkhele were on holiday with

their nine`year`old daughter visiting family when the accident

Their daughter is being treated in hospital for serious injuries.

Mr Nawarkhele was a senior social worker with Southampton

Today a friend, who was due to pick the family up

this week, described them as a couple dedicated to their daughter,

He said their loss would be deeply felt.

The family has a very large circle in Southampton. They were active in

different arenas of life. They were active in the Hindu temple. She was

an active member of a community radio station. Both of them are

active in the parent teachers Association in their school. And

individual friend circles. An after school club in Oxfordshire
