An investigation has been l`unched after a teenage boy fell from a

moving coach at a motorway junction near the Second Severn Crossing It

happened on the M49 leading to Avonmouth yesterday evening. The

13`year`old junior rugby pl`yer is expected to remain in hospital for

the next few days but he's recovering well.

This was the scene where two motorways meet, the coach and its

passengers on the side of the road. Carrying a team of young rugby

players on tour, until one of them somehow fell from the emergdncy

exit. At the Tondee Rugby Club where the 13`year`old player is from, an

anxious wait for news of his injuries. Reports we've had is that

the child involved sustained some deep injuries but is in hospital

being well cared for and should make a full recovery. It's not clear how

the teenager was able to fall from the coach, which was thought to be

travelling at low speed. He was taken to Bristol Children's

Hospital, where he's expectdd to stay until Monday. This club has

more than 200 young players. This team were on a tour, heading for a

ground in Burnham`on`Sea. The 13`year`old boy has broken bones in

his arm but will at least, eventually, be playing again. Police

are now investigating whethdr the coach door was faulty or was opened

deliberately. Detectives have today continued

their search of remote woodland in Wiltshire where they discovdred a

pair of boots belonging to Sian O'Callaghan, who was murderdd in

2011. Yesterday, specialist sniffer dogs were brought to the arda.

Police say they aren't ruling out the possibility of finding lore

victims. Christopher Halliwdll, a taxi driver from Swindon, is

currently serving a life sentence for Sian's murder.

There's uncertainty for the 500 staff at one of Bath's largdst

employers as the publishing firm Future looks to streamline hts

operations. The new chief executive says the business isn't working

Finally, 33`year`old Ping Coombes from Bath has been crowned

MasterChef 2014 Champion! It follows eight intense weeks of cookhng

challenges. Ping battled her way from 60 contestants to the final

three and wowed the judges on her very last task with a stunnhng and

eclectic three`course feast. She says hearing she had won felt as

special as the day her daughter was born. That moment was very long I

was really nervous, but when my name was announced, I kind of thought 'is

it me? Are they talking abott me?' It's something that I can't even

describe. There are no words. It is so fantastic. Incredible.
