from Bristol has made an emotional 15`year`old Yusra Hussien wdnt

missing a week ago, and it's feared But this morning her family also

said she showed no signs The border between Turkey and Syria,

mother seated in the middle who made an emotional plea for her

15`year`old daughter to comd home. I am your mother. Please come back, we

miss you. It is feared Yusr` Hussien may have been tempted to john an

extremist army that the polhce say there was no concrete evidence of

her intentions. We have a tdenage girl missing and we don't know where

she is. A 15`year`old girl hs missing from our family. Yusra

Hussien was a typical teenage girl from a loving family and thdy said

their last conversation with her was eight days ago on Tuesday evening

about school the next morning. She has been described as I am ` star

student who was dedicated to her education but last Wednesdax morning

she didn't headed to school. `` and a star student. It is thought she

met up with another 17`year`old girl and they took the play `` playing to

Turkey. Please see they werd doing everything they could to tr`ck her

down. We are working with ahrports to get CCTV and making extensive

enquiries. We are working through a huge volume of CCTV in Bristol and

airports at internationally and we're working with organisations

internationally to track her down. The family wouldn't say how she had

paid for the plane ticket or what belongings she had taken with her

but pleaded instead directlx to the missing child to come home to a

family who are desperate for news. Joining us now is Hibaq Jam`,

who is the Labour counsellor for Lawrence Hill in Bristol

and originally from Somalia. It was a very emotional press

conference today for the falily to go through. What has been the

reaction as far as you can gauge from the Somali community? The

reaction is one of shock, ddspair and ultimately hope that thhs young

15`year`old will come home. It is a double problem. Not only has she

gone missing but there was `lso the suggestion that she may be hnvolved

in terrorism in some way. What has been the local feeling about that? A

lot of the people that know Yusra Hussien and her family, there mind

is preoccupied with hoping this young girl will come home. With

regards to any other suggestions about drugs it `` but can I say we

have to wait until the police investigation is carried out to

provide us with the answers to these questions. Are you worried `bout

community relations, that pdople outside the Somali communitx may

see, perhaps those views of widespread within that area? I think

in terms of the non`Somali community in Bristol, I have a lot of hope and

admiration and confidence in them to understand that what we havd here is

a missing 15`year`old girl. I have the confidence in them to understand

the Somali community is not one unit that all things the same thhng. It

is a diverse community, much like the British community. Are those

views held at all by the colmunity? I'm afraid the Somali community is

much the same as their whitd British ministry. There are people from all

walks of life who believe lots of different things and I will not be

prepared to say that every single member thinks the way I think. We

are a diverse community in dvery sense of the world. Have I seen or

heard any sympathising with this extremist group or any extrdmist

group, I have to be honest `nd say the answer is, no, the majority of

the people that I serve, all hold this extremist group and all others

in contempt. The important thing is to find this missing girl so if you

have any information at all, you are being asked to contact the police.

There is a national 101 number. Two men arrested

in connection with the murddr of Barry Rubery from Iron Acton

have been released on policd bail. Mr Rubery's body was found

at his home over four years ago The two men are aged 30 and 19 and

were arrested yesterday evening one Meanwhile a man's been arrested

on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was fotnd

in Norton Fitzwarren, near Taunton. Police were called to a homd

on Hilly Park yesterday evening The man, who's 27, is currently

being questioned by police. A Bristol MP has called

for a key member Charlotte Leslie says there's

a conflict of interest ` because the patient representative

on Healthwatch is also a senior manager at a private hospit`l that

operates on NHS patients. But Healthwatch says the conflict

of interest was declared The scandal of Mid Staffordshire

Hospital where hundreds of patients were neglected, happened

because they were not listened to. There were too many groups

scrutinising the NHS but none Since then, the NHS reforms have

brought in a new organisation called Healthwatch to scrutinise hospitals

like this one at Emersons Green There are now concerns over

the person Healthwatch have appointed to represent patidnt

views, called Mona Van Wyk. That is because she happens to be

the chief nurse here and he`d Mona Van Wyk says she has ddclared

this conflict of interest at Healthwatch's website but it

only describes her as a midwife with I want to talk about conflicts

of interest. Her appointment has been rahsed with

councillors from Mona Van Wyk referred me to

Healthwatch for any comments and in the statement they said they

would be happy to improve the information on their website

but stand by her appointment. Declarations have been recorded and

are a matter of record and ht is certainly not Healthwatch's opinion

that anyone should be barred from serving with Healthwatch on the

basis that they work in health care. Charlotte is used to

scrutinising the NHS. The MP sits on the Health Sdlect

Committee and feels this conflict of The problem with NHS

and whistle`blowing and getting patients' concerns heard

as it has always been a stitch up. The people who are supposed to

listen to the concerns have been the people who may be causing

the concern. To have a position where yot have

the public can feel has a conflict`of`interest in a new

A Bristol businessman has donated ?1 million to UKIP.

Arron Banks, who's given money to the Conservatives in the past,

had planned to donate ?100,000 but he upped it to a million after

?100,000. So riled was he from the reaction of senior Conservatives, he

upped it to ?1 million. Nigel Farage was beaming. Bdside him

is that Bristol businessman who had given UKIP its biggest single

donation. The pledge of ?1 lillion is a very significant advance, not

just in the by`election is going on but towards the general election

that takes place next year. Aaron Banks has made his money in

insurance and has given tens of thousands to the Conservatives. He

once stood as a candidate. Britain's future as an international

trading country, I believe the European Community is bringhng us

down. Hence the move to UKIP. Coming on the last day of the confdrence,

the Tories knew this was a spoiler. The party had been trying to shift

the spotlight back to their carefully choreographed polhcy

announcements. Today the line was that this is no big deal. Pdople are

going to announce defections when there are events like this. We don't

want the headlines like this but we take it on the chin. It really isn't

the big important issues for people at home. Today's media circts maybe

not be the last. Fancy a cr`ck at the Parliamentary seats arotnd here?

For UKIP, another successful day, stealing some of the limelight from

the Tories. I am joined now by Nigel Farage, the leader of UKIP. Good

multimillionaire. If we leave Europe and the gambling goes wrong, he will

be OK. What about the rest of us? We will not have to put up with

open`door immigration, the huge compression on wages that wd have

seen over the last ten years. We will not have to put up with endless

onshore and offshore wind ttrbines being built to meet targets and the

rest of us will not have to put up with our taxes being given to pay

?55 million a day to Brussels. Please don't misunderstand le. We

will go on buying and selling goods with our neighbours in Europe. We

will get back our democracy, get back our ability to run our own

country, get back the very thing that those that went before us

fought for, that we can govdrn our own country. With that I thhnk our

pride and self`respect to. The CBI and other groups say Britain's

interest is in the EU. The big corporate steel and the CBI bosses

have been saying this. Remelber this, the very same people that run

the CBI that see our future depends on remaining part of the European

Union, with the very same pdople who said if we didn't join the duro it

would all go wrong. Their track record is abysmal. When you talk to

their members, to the companies themselves, you'd get a verx

different perspective. I wotld like your take on another big story here

today. The 15`year`old girl who has gone missing from Bristol. Ht is

feared she has been radicalhsed and on her way to Syria. How wotld UKIP

deal with the issue of integration? For the last 15 years, the governed

has been busy fighting the war on foreign fronts, launching w`rs all

over the place, bombing campaigns and another one we are engaged in.

Education Secretary tried to seek out and destroy radicalisathon

West Country are preparing to take direct action to protect

the future of their industrx. Farmers for Action say withhn

the week they will be organhsing blockades of dairy processors,

the middle men, who they sax are responsible for driving

down the price paid to farmdrs. Two of

the largest processors have recently announced cuts to farm gate prices

but say the problem has been caused Our Somerset Correspondent was

at today's Dairy Show at thd Dairy farming, it is frequently a

struggle. The only times we have succeeded in getting our milk price

back to where it is going to be is one we have actually gone ott and

caused some pain. This man says it is time for farmers to stand up and

fight for a better deal. He means direct action. This is what he is

talking about, the kind of blockades of dairy processors we have seen in

the past. Farmers will be t`rgeting the processes and where it hsn't

clear that the when is. Davhd Handley making it clear head that

there will be direct action and in four days time. The question is how

much anger is there among Wdst Country dairy farmers? How lany of

them will be willing to takd part? You have to protest. I think we need

to be there. It is not right that our product is worth less than

water. Are you going to be out there? It is the only way wd will

increase things. Two of the biggest processors have cut prices `nd now

on average farmers get 27p for each litre. They say it actually costs

them 30p a litre to produce and it sells in supermarkets for around

44p. Small wonder that therd weren't too many happy faces at the dairy

show. Not even me show organiser could raise a smile. Then, `s a

dairy farmer himself, he saxs the latest cuts have cost him ?33,0 0.

When people were starting to come out of a difficult time and looking

forward to a bright future, these cuts have come as a big shock. Milk

processors say it is not thdir fault and part of a cycle of milk prices.

High a year ago and now low because of a world of the milk. The future

of dairy farming was on show here today, a robotic milk parlotr. In

today's economic climate, there didn't seem to be too many people

queueing up to buy. Two weeks

after lightning struck a hotse in Wiltshire, the owners still don t

know the full extent of the damage. Terry and Sylvia Cook from Lelksham

were on holiday in Greece when they heard the house w`s alight

and that the roof had caved in. It might have been one of the driest

September but try telling that to people living in Wiltshire. Two

weeks ago the heavens opened with ten to 20 millimetres of water

falling just four hours. Thhs house was badly hit by lightning. The fire

damage so severe that the roof caved in. Luckily, no one was hurt as the

owners were on holiday. For now the local pub is their home. It is very

frustrating. The simple things that you take the granted, you c`n do any

of this. They feel they are in limbo land while the scaffolding goes up

and they wait for the assessors to arrive. Two weeks on and thdy have

still not been allowed in the main body of the house. Upstairs is just

too dangerous. Out in the g`rden, it looks normal. The heat of the tiles

has melted the hosepipe. Frustratingly, Selby and Terry still

haven't seen the extent of the damage for themselves. Therd is some

good news. This week they h`ve been allowed in the conservatory. I am

amazed it survived. I assumdd the tiles would have made holes. The

firemen you that and they ptt stuff from the sap downstairs awax. We are

so grateful. They have been told it will be at least six months before

they can return home. Until then, all they can do is wait. Wh`t has

happened has happened and wd have to be as positive as we can.

I am making the most of the dry weather because it is all changed

towards the end of the week. We saw clad beginning to fill in this

morning and bringing with it some patchy rain and drizzle. Autumn is

just beginning to show its hand Some rain fall shows how little rain

we have had. Rain is definitely on the way. A big area of low pressure

to the north west of the UK begins to push southwards at the end of the

week. It is wet and windy and it changes the tone of the weather We

will have to wait for the bright sunny conditions and till ndxt

summer. We have rain and wind and cooler air. It is sinking down over

the UK and the West Country and it really is the start of the next

season. For the rest of this evening and tonight, it remains settled We

have some sunny spells of the next few days but also some patchy rain

and drizzle. The change does come at the weekend. We have plenty of cloud

coverage tonight. We have some patchy drizzle and some fog into

tomorrow morning. Temperatures around 13 Celsius. Tomorrow is misty
