Ysgol Pantycelyn with another school, 15 miles away to form a new

school just outside the town. BBC Wales has tonight apologised

for disruption to programmes following industrial action by

members by the national union of jurn lits. It's the first of two

one-day strikes over potential redundancies. The BBC says it's

trying to reduce the need for compulsory redundancies.

The new leader of the Conservatives in the international has said his

priority will be to illustrate the failings of the Welsh Government.

On his first official engagement to the Sharp solar panel factory in

Wrexham, Andrew RT Davies confirmed he will be putting his Shadow

Cabinet together over the next couple of days. I want to speak

personally to each and every member of the Conservative group in the

Assembly. I think it's important that I we do that on an individual

to individual basis. We have a talented team who have hit the

ground running already in the first term since the election. I know

full well that each of them will take up the challenge with relish

and hold the Government to account and make sure the people of Wales

have confidence that the Welsh Conservatives are fighting their

corner. Vulnerable fishing areas around the North Wales coast are to

be mapped in what's described as a pioneering new project. Fish Map

Mon will look at the area around Anglesey and Menai Strait,

recording the type and intensity of the industry. It's part of a plan

to develop options for the sustainable options for fishing,

which could be used in other parts of Wales. Hopefully this will mean

the process of saying well, we've got issues here with this type of

fishing, will be made a lot easier and we're going to end up with more

sustainable fishery. So people can fish into the future. At moment,

the fishing industry and certain activities can be a bit boom and

bust. The National Library in Aberystwyth is 100 years old. A

century after King George V lay the foundation stone, as part of the

celebrations the library invited people to form a human chain around

the building. We've had about 450, 500 people

here holding hands right round the library, about half a kill op ter -

- kilometre, an expression of love towards the library of Wales.

weekend rock festival in Aberystwyth Castell Rock has been

cancelled because of the bad weather. Will it be that awful?

two inches of rain on the Cambrian mountains and Snowdonia. Feeling
