There are fears tonight that three men from Cardiff,

who travelled to Syria to fight with extremist groups,

The three young men left their homes without telling their families.

Two of the three have appeared in a recruitment video thought to

have been posted on the internet by the Islamic militant group, Isis.

The BBC has also learnt that two of the men attended a mosque

in the city which was visited by a preacher banned from other countries

Live to our reporter Jordan Davies, Jordan.

I'm outside this mosque in the heart of Cardiff. I'm here because two of

the menu travelled to Syria studied and prayed here in addition to other

mosques in the city. Today, worshippers here and Muslims across

Cardiff condemned the actions of all three men. Aseel Muthana, Reyaad

Khan, and Nasser Muthana. All to be in Wales and all popular younger

men. They are now linked to one of the most violent Islamist groups in

the world is owned by Al-Qaeda for their brutality. This footage shows

two of them in apparent propaganda video that emerged on the internets.

The footage cannot be verified by the BBC. In it, they appealed to

Western Muslims to join them in their fight in Syria and Iraq. But

when did all three leave Wales? 20-year-old Nasser Muthana left

Cardiff last November. He told his family he was going to a seminar in

Leicester or Shrewsbury. His friend, 20-year-old Reyaad Khan, is thought

left at the same time, telling his family he was going to Birmingham

for an Islamic Conference. Nasser Muthana... Aseel Muthana is also

thought to be in Syria. He left in March this year saying he was going

to a friend's house to revise for a maths exam. Today, a friend of

Reyaad Khan's parents, they were shocked when he left the country. I

do not want my son to end up in the wrong hands and radicalised. To

reason they said that by the time we get there he will be removed from

that part. It will be hard for us to track him down. It is three years

since they prayed at this mosque in Cardiff before moving to others in

the city. It is said, their views had hardened over time. The imam at

the mosque says he believed all three may be radicalised elsewhere,

but in Cardiff. It is not as simple as then watching a video on the

Internet. There has to be an indoctrination, a process, people

would have to have spoken to them. It is believed the two brothers

attended this mosque in Cardiff. This evening, the BBC can convert

that this well known a cleric, who is banned from entering Switzerland,

preached here, two years ago. It is not known if any of the three menu

travelled to Syria were in his audience. The father of Aseel

Muthana and Reyaad Khan does not want to appear on camera and told

the BBC he is a broken man. He did not seem like a hardliner. He

believed in films, he likes films. He liked science fiction films. He

was active. He did not like to stay in one place for longer than a few

minutes. It depends which group they are with and watch ideologies they

have internalised. If they have taken on ideologies that say it is

OK to attack targets in the West, and that is obviously a serious

threats. Some research has recently come out I think, that says

historically, one in nine people eventually come back to the UK arm

pose some sort of threats. This is not the first time fears had been

razor radicalised Asian in Cardiff. In February 20 12, three men, two of

them brothers, were jailed for almost 40 years for plotting to bomb

the London stock exchange. It has been months now since the three

young men left Wales. It is unclear how long it will be before families

and friends and the authorities will make contact with them again. the

vast amount of people live spoken to have expressed shock at these three

men. But some people have said that this has shone a light on something

that has been an issue in Cardiff for a while. And it is something,

radicalised in Wales, in Cardiff? It is not clear. But it is clear that

they have come under significant influences by people who are

preaching a twisted and inaccurate form of Islam. That is certainly the

view of the community leaders I spoke to a cross Cardiff. This does

raise the question, do you believe the Muslim community in Cardiff is

doing enough to police its own? From the man I spoke to and the community

leaders I spoke to, it is clear that they all condemn these activities.

They say they are both un-Islamic and against the principles of

tolerance and respect that we have a proud tradition of in Cardiff. They

are united in their desire to tackle this. But we have to be realistic

that, even with the best imam 's, young people have access to the

Internet and other sources of information, so we cannot cover

every single base. We need to tackle every angle of this. Is there is

implicit criticism in your answer that some of the authorities are

fallen down on the job here? The raw questions to be asked about what

videos are available on the Internet and, indeed, some of the messages

which are getting to these young people. But we all need to redouble

our efforts. I'm convinced from speaking to the community leaders

that we will continue to do that. Why do you believe that three young

men, living in Cardiff, would leave their homes and go to Syria like

this? That is the question at all of us are asking. Indeed, there is a

lot of shock in the community and among local representatives. We

cannot fathom every reason for each one. But what is clear is that

people like this are often vulnerable, and are looking for

answers on complex topics. Unfortunately, there are those who

will seek to groom and manipulate these people into versions of Islam

that lead them to this terrible and tragic decision. Thank you.

Last year, 36 people died waiting for an organ donation in Wales. The

clock is ticking for many more. This is a hard hitting message. The law

is changing and the Welsh Government wants us to start thinking about

organ donation. From December next year, it will be presumed we are

prepared to give our organs when we die unless we decide to opt out.

this bill offers hope. It is a big change and one which came with a

degree of controversy. The decisions you make it through five hours of

debate in the National Assembly made Wales one of the first of the UK

nations to adopt an track and opt out. we know that when you make an

important change you need a longer run into it. You need to do a

variety of things to order -- in order to make sure that all sorts of

people with all sorts of different ways of life have an equal chance to

find out about what is happening. That is why the campaign is so

important. The Welsh Government argues that under the new law, there

would be 50 more organ donors per year. But many are not convince.

Some confidence that macro concerned about ethics. Others questioned

whether the change will make a real difference. I'm in favour of

increasing the number of organs for donation. It is a brilliant gift.

But I think the Welsh could not's new law is a bad one. It will not

work and has danger of damaging the organ donation system across the UK.

It is a bad law and it should not have been passed. The views are

family members will still play an important part in the decision over

whether or not the organs of somebody who has died will be taken.

right time. But when it comes to the nuclear sector, he says it is

creating lots of jobs in Wales and because it is very controlled, they

can ensure it is safe. The drive is to win investment. Fantastic. I'm so

impressed. I wish we had, could replicate it everywhere. Opens all

It is a bit awkward because I am the only woman on the team. But you just

have to join in with the banter and get on with it! It is good in terms

of wrestling because they have crazy strength compared to women I

suppose. But the only difficulty is women wrestle differently to men.

For a nation of our size, when a big athlete has problems it has a big

impact upon us. It is not like the English team to absorb lots of

withdrawals. If we have withdrawals, it has an impact. The die has a

world-class coach and a world-class support team behind him. I suppose

he is preparing the ground just in case he does not retain his title.

But I know, with Rhys Williams and all the other young athletes that we

have picked in the athletics team, I am sure the squad will do their best

to do us proud. You've been to two previous games -

how do you think Glasgow will I have been really impressed by the

Glasgow organising committee. They have done a fantastic job. They have

been quite tight on the budgets, typically of the Scots. But they are

delivering some fantastic venues. They definitely have a mantra of

athlete centred and I'm sure it will be like that. But in Delhi, the

athlete is thoroughly enjoyed it. They did not see all the things that

were going on in the background, but I'm sure they will equally enjoyed

Glasgow. The crowds will be amazing. The Welsh support from the ticket

sales we have seen will be incredible and it will be, in some
