A reminder of our main story. Britain will not be cowed, says the | :00:00. | :00:00.
Prime Minister. A year in the planning, | :00:00. | :00:19.
now final preparations as Wales prepares to host representatives | :00:20. | :00:23.
from 60 countries at the NATO And I'm here at the Celtic Manor | :00:24. | :00:25.
where they're busy preparing to Ahead of the summit, the prime | :00:26. | :00:29.
minister visits the Oakdale factory that's won a multi-billion | :00:30. | :00:32.
pound defence contract. He says NATO is | :00:33. | :00:34.
a golden opportunity for Wales. I think it is a great moment to put | :00:35. | :00:48.
the best face of Wales forward, the brilliance of Welsh industry and | :00:49. | :00:51.
people, a great place to come. I think it will be a great | :00:52. | :00:52.
advertisement for Wales. Also tonight, | :00:53. | :00:55.
turmoil at Wrexham council. Ten members of its Labour group, | :00:56. | :00:56.
including the leader, resign. Top international BMX riders travel | :00:57. | :00:58.
to Powys to compete It's been a year in the planning | :00:59. | :01:02.
but finally Wales is ready to welcome world leaders to the | :01:03. | :01:26.
NATO Summit in Newport. Final preparations have been taking | :01:27. | :01:32.
place today and security for Representatives from 60 countries | :01:33. | :01:34.
will meet at the Celtic Manor Resort to discuss issues such | :01:35. | :01:38.
as the situation in Afghanistan Our political correspondent Daniel | :01:39. | :01:40.
Davis is there for us this evening. They have been hard at work all day | :01:41. | :01:56.
here. The media Centre is filling up with journalists from around the | :01:57. | :02:00.
world and they have even got a replica tank on the lawn in aid of | :02:01. | :02:04.
what NATO calls one of the most important summits in its history. | :02:05. | :02:13.
When you are -- when your guests are this important, don't leave anything | :02:14. | :02:16.
to chance. The big issues will be discussed here is the little details | :02:17. | :02:22.
matter. After months of planning, the world will be watching what | :02:23. | :02:26.
comes out of this hotel. We had ten years to prepare for the Ryder Cup | :02:27. | :02:30.
and we have had less than a year to prepare for the NATO summit. Both | :02:31. | :02:34.
hugely important but different spectrums. This is security with 60 | :02:35. | :02:40.
world leaders, security is totally different here to what it was that | :02:41. | :02:46.
the Ryder Cup. A few miles away, and pleasant school in Rogerson appears | :02:47. | :02:53.
to be keep getting ready to welcome someone. It was announced that | :02:54. | :02:59.
Barack Obama was going to visit a school somewhere in Newport. | :03:00. | :03:05.
He couldn't have picked a better school. He only started on Monday so | :03:06. | :03:10.
it will be very exciting to beat the president. | :03:11. | :03:14.
Down the coast, a show of the literary night in Cardiff Bay. NATO | :03:15. | :03:19.
is showing off its warships. The latest to fly in with this one. | :03:20. | :03:26.
Everyone is getting ready, either protesters who wish NATO wasn't | :03:27. | :03:30.
here. There are around 100 at eight peace camp. | :03:31. | :03:35.
They have threatened us. They have got the policeman guarding the | :03:36. | :03:42.
motorway because they were talking about invading the motorway and | :03:43. | :03:43.
stopping the traffic so I think for the moment it seems comparatively | :03:44. | :03:47.
small and containable. The reason for this activity, so | :03:48. | :03:51.
Western leaders can agree foreign policy. First to arrive was the | :03:52. | :04:00.
Secretary General who arrived at Cardiff airport earlier. | :04:01. | :04:04.
We will also discuss Iraq, Syria, the situation in the Middle East and | :04:05. | :04:10.
North Africa. All in all, you see an arc of crises surrounding NATO. This | :04:11. | :04:18.
summit will be conducted in a very efficient manner and when it comes | :04:19. | :04:23.
to substance, it will produce significant results. | :04:24. | :04:29.
The biggest physical gathering the UK has ever hosted is upon us. 60 | :04:30. | :04:36.
government leaders with staff and journalists are on their way. | :04:37. | :04:40.
People in Cardiff and Newport will have seen the level of security that | :04:41. | :04:44.
is to be expected. It is an event that will reflect well on the whole | :04:45. | :04:52.
of Wales, from Newport to Holyhead. We want them to take away Wales on a | :04:53. | :04:56.
plate. The ingredients are from Wales and sourced locally. We are | :04:57. | :05:02.
using everything in the locality. Newport, ask, Monmouthshire, Brecon | :05:03. | :05:11.
and West Wales. Even in North Wales. Russia and the Ukraine crisis, | :05:12. | :05:14.
turmoil in the Middle East, withdrawing from Afghanistan. NATO | :05:15. | :05:19.
has enough on its plate. The world is waiting to hear what the leaders | :05:20. | :05:23.
of the Alliance will decide to do and this is where they will take | :05:24. | :05:26.
their decisions. Dan, NATO has a lots to talk about. | :05:27. | :05:31.
Can they really solve it in two days? | :05:32. | :05:35.
It is not just the staff here at the Celtic Manor that have been getting | :05:36. | :05:38.
ready for this summit. In governments around the world, at the | :05:39. | :05:41.
NATO headquarters in Brussels they have been laying the ground, | :05:42. | :05:45.
drafting proposals and preparing communications. What will happen in | :05:46. | :05:50.
the main building behind me tomorrow is world leaders will be asked to | :05:51. | :05:55.
ratify the proposals to approve these decisions and agree a way | :05:56. | :06:00.
forward on what was described today as the Ark of crises that are | :06:01. | :06:06.
encircling NATO members. NATO are calling this one of its | :06:07. | :06:10.
most important summits. Why is that? | :06:11. | :06:17.
Well, because they have so many trouble hotspots flaring up on its | :06:18. | :06:21.
borders. We have seen yesterday the second American journalist killed by | :06:22. | :06:27.
Islamic state fighters in Syria. We get there is a British hostage being | :06:28. | :06:33.
held there as well. The Ukraine crisis has really focused minds | :06:34. | :06:39.
here. You can see there is a lot for NATO to talk about and a lock for | :06:40. | :06:42.
NATO to talk about and a locked fridge to get to grips with. People | :06:43. | :06:45.
will be watching here to see what kind of NATO emerges. It is an | :06:46. | :06:52.
organisation ready to confront new challenges. | :06:53. | :06:58.
You have been there all day. What is your sense of the preparations? | :06:59. | :07:05.
Just to give you an idea. It is a hive of activity. You get the | :07:06. | :07:09.
impression that someone important is about to arrive. There has been a | :07:10. | :07:14.
lot of noise and banging as temporary buildings go up. You can | :07:15. | :07:21.
see these model replica talks behind me -- tanks. There have been a few | :07:22. | :07:26.
real jet fighters buzzing overhead during this afternoon. There has | :07:27. | :07:31.
been a lot of planning gone into this event. It is reaching fever | :07:32. | :07:40.
pitch as world leaders prepare to arrive, including Barack Obama. | :07:41. | :07:49.
There's been some disruption for motorists in the past week ahead | :07:50. | :07:52.
of the NATO summit, and there will be more over the next few days. | :07:53. | :07:55.
The table is all set, and we've already been warned to | :07:56. | :07:59.
For schools that's meant deciding whether to stay open or close. | :08:00. | :08:05.
We understand 40 schools will be closed and a further 70 are to see | :08:06. | :08:09.
So if you are one of those parents trying to rush home earlier than | :08:10. | :08:18.
usual, or indeed anyone trying to negotiate your way around those | :08:19. | :08:20.
metal fences tonight and tomorrow, this is the latest advice. | :08:21. | :08:23.
Police says there could be significant disruption | :08:24. | :08:24.
at certain points around the Celtic Manor and the centre of Cardiff. | :08:25. | :08:31.
Some roads will be closed from 8:30pm | :08:32. | :08:32.
Rush hour tomorrow evening and Friday morning are expected to | :08:33. | :08:40.
be the most difficult times but there is still no intention to | :08:41. | :08:43.
Cardiff Airport where some delegates are flying in is open | :08:44. | :08:53.
for business as usual during the summit, though passengers | :08:54. | :08:55.
are being asked to allow extra time to get in and out of the airport. | :08:56. | :08:59.
There will be extra trains between Cardiff and Newport. | :09:00. | :09:01.
And our major hospitals say they're planning to run | :09:02. | :09:03.
For more information about the NATO summit, you can go to our website. | :09:04. | :09:12.
And of course we'll have all the latest | :09:13. | :09:14.
A man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries he received | :09:15. | :09:20.
in one of two crashes which closed the westbound | :09:21. | :09:22.
carriageway of the A55 near Llandudno Junction this morning. | :09:23. | :09:28.
The closure caused long tailbacks between the Colwyn Bay and the Conwy | :09:29. | :09:31.
tunnels with drivers urged to take a 35-mile diversion through Snowdonia. | :09:32. | :09:36.
The police are appealing for witnesses. | :09:37. | :09:47.
Ten members of Wrexham council's Labour group, including the leader, | :09:48. | :09:49.
have resigned from the party today blaming negative | :09:50. | :09:51.
The row follows months of disagreement over a number | :09:52. | :09:55.
of issues and comes a week after Councillor Malcolm King was | :09:56. | :10:01.
sacked after raising concerns about child protection services. | :10:02. | :10:02.
Matthew Richards is at the council's headquarters. | :10:03. | :10:04.
Lucy, this row had been brewing for some time. Things have now come to a | :10:05. | :10:18.
head with ten of the 23 Labour group resigning. The council leader says | :10:19. | :10:24.
the reason is interference and criticism from what he said were | :10:25. | :10:27.
elected and unelected members of the Labour group. He was referring to | :10:28. | :10:35.
members of the group and advisers. This criticism was over the decision | :10:36. | :10:38.
to close a leisure centre in Wrexham, which may or may not be | :10:39. | :10:42.
handed over to a community group to run later in the year. There was | :10:43. | :10:50.
also the sacking of a counsellor. Neurologists says he felt he had no | :10:51. | :10:56.
option because of -- Councillor Neil Rogers says he felt he had no option | :10:57. | :11:01.
but he had to make this regrettable decision along with his colleagues | :11:02. | :11:06.
after 40 years in the Labour Party. My colleagues and I have come to the | :11:07. | :11:09.
end of our time with these people. There is negative interference | :11:10. | :11:16.
because I cannot continue in this mode. We want what is best for the | :11:17. | :11:20.
people of Wrexham, not for individuals to have their own | :11:21. | :11:22.
agenda. Where does this leave the running of | :11:23. | :11:26.
the council now? The deputy leader of the council | :11:27. | :11:29.
said to me today this could not have come at a worse time because the | :11:30. | :11:33.
council is trying to work out how to finalise its budget and it has to | :11:34. | :11:37.
make ?50 million of cuts this year alone. Decisions are due shortly, | :11:38. | :11:42.
including the leisure centre decision. This means there is no | :11:43. | :11:47.
overall control of the council so there will be lots of discussions | :11:48. | :11:53.
behind closed doors between independent councillors and other | :11:54. | :11:57.
parties to decide whether they will accept membership from these ten | :11:58. | :12:04.
ex-Labour politicians. They say services will continue to be run as | :12:05. | :12:08.
normal but a lot of opposition politicians and their Welsh | :12:09. | :12:12.
government has said that is one thing the people of Wrexham must not | :12:13. | :12:17.
be let down by this distracting set of circumstances. | :12:18. | :12:21.
Schoolchildren write their hopes for the future for world leaders | :12:22. | :12:26.

Welsh ambulance workers have voted in principle for industrial action. | :12:32. | :12:51.
The union asked its members if they would be willing to take action if a | :12:52. | :12:55.
formal vote was called. Our health correspondent joins me now. What | :12:56. | :12:58.
does this mean? It has now confirmed a short time | :12:59. | :13:03.
ago that one of four unions that represent its workers has informed | :13:04. | :13:08.
them this afternoon that following a ballot of the members, they have | :13:09. | :13:12.
passed a vote of no-confidence in how the Ambulance Service is run and | :13:13. | :13:18.
they will proceed in principle to formal industrial action, should | :13:19. | :13:21.
there be another vote. That doesn't mean there will be a strike. They | :13:22. | :13:25.
will need to be another vote before we go down that road. This really | :13:26. | :13:32.
does illustrate the disquiet in the amylin service at the moment. The | :13:33. | :13:36.
service that hasn't met its most urgent targets for most of the past | :13:37. | :13:41.
two years. Unions have been complaining about high pressure on | :13:42. | :13:44.
staff and lack of resources, even though last week the Welsh | :13:45. | :13:48.
government announced ?4 million worth of extra investment in new | :13:49. | :13:52.
equipment. The Conservatives say this vote is a damning indictment of | :13:53. | :14:01.
Welsh Labour's record. What it does show is the strength of disquiet | :14:02. | :14:04.
within that service. The Ambulance Service says it is disappointed, | :14:05. | :14:08.
giving it is trying to make improvements. | :14:09. | :14:10.
A nursery in Aberdare has been forced to close | :14:11. | :14:12.
its doors while social services investigate what they call | :14:13. | :14:14.
The Stay and Play Nursery, which looks after more than 30 | :14:15. | :14:21.
children under five, has had its registration suspended by The Care | :14:22. | :14:24.
They carried out an inspection of the nursery | :14:25. | :14:30.
following an anonymous complaint about leadership and management. | :14:31. | :14:34.
There's been a rise in the number of deaths involving c.difficile | :14:35. | :14:37.
in Wales for the first time in five years. | :14:38. | :14:39.
New figures show that last year the infection was mentioned on the | :14:40. | :14:42.
death certificates of 177 people across Wales, 22 more than in 2012. | :14:43. | :14:47.
The Welsh Government says it's disappointed with the increase, and | :14:48. | :14:50.
has a zero tolerance approach to all healthcare associated infections. | :14:51. | :14:57.

Part of the building we were due to receive today was not ready so we do | :15:29. | :15:47.
not have possession of... We have always decided that we are going to | :15:48. | :15:52.
open the building in phases. Phase one contains the theatre and | :15:53. | :15:55.
associated spaces but that is not ready and we cannot take possession | :15:56. | :15:59.
of it this week therefore we have no other choice. | :16:00. | :16:04.
Let's return to the NATO Summit now, and there have been months | :16:05. | :16:07.
of preparations for the summit, and not just security. | :16:08. | :16:11.
General dynamics has received a big contract. The Prime Minister visited | :16:12. | :16:20.
the site. The largest single order placed by the MoD for armoured | :16:21. | :16:26.
vehicles in more than 30 years. Our correspondent spoke to the Prime | :16:27. | :16:30.
Minister before the NATO summit and began by asking how he was enjoying | :16:31. | :16:33.
his visit after criticising Wales in the Commons. | :16:34. | :16:38.
I never criticise Wales. I love Wales. I think Wales is a fantastic | :16:39. | :16:43.
part of the UK. I do criticise the Welsh Labour assembly government for | :16:44. | :16:47.
some of the decisions they have taken. I think specifically on | :16:48. | :16:52.
health. I think they made a mistake, deciding to cut the NHS. In England | :16:53. | :16:57.
we decided to keep spending on the NHS. I think that was a mistake. | :16:58. | :17:01.
They haven't met their cancer targets since 2008 and there | :17:02. | :17:07.
accident and emergency target since 2009. Attacking the Labour | :17:08. | :17:13.
government in Cardiff when they make a mistake within my realm of | :17:14. | :17:17.
responsibility, just as the Labour government in Wales attacks me. I | :17:18. | :17:23.
want to ask you about Scotland. I appreciate you are probably not | :17:24. | :17:25.
thinking about devolution in Wales at the moment but the polls are | :17:26. | :17:30.
suggesting it is going to be very tight in Scotland. I wanted to get a | :17:31. | :17:34.
sense from you about how you think Wales will fit in to devolution in | :17:35. | :17:41.
future and whether it is automatically going to be more | :17:42. | :17:45.
powers being devolved? We are a family of nations and I have always | :17:46. | :17:50.
believed our family is strong because we choose to stay together | :17:51. | :17:54.
which is why when Scotland had a National party government and wanted | :17:55. | :17:58.
a referendum, I said you must have a legal and fair referendum. | :17:59. | :18:03.
I don't think that evolution has to proceed at the same pace in every | :18:04. | :18:07.
part of the UK. With Wales when there has been a demand for extra | :18:08. | :18:15.
powers, I have granted that referendum. The last time we spoke | :18:16. | :18:20.
with in very different circumstances. We spoke about the | :18:21. | :18:24.
structure investment and use of the UK Government was funding the | :18:25. | :18:26.
publication of the South Wales valleys rail network. -- | :18:27. | :18:36.
electrification of the South Wales valleys rail network. | :18:37. | :18:41.
Are you close to a deal? What I said is that there was a set of | :18:42. | :18:44.
agreements that linked together the funding of the electrification of | :18:45. | :18:49.
the main line into Wales and the Valley line as well. They are the | :18:50. | :18:54.
responsibility of the Welsh assembly government but I am sure an | :18:55. | :18:59.
agreement will be reached. We are doing our bit in Westminster and the | :19:00. | :19:03.
Welsh government needs to do its bit in Cardiff. Then this work can take | :19:04. | :19:09.
place. That was our political editor | :19:10. | :19:11.
speaking to David Cameron a little bit earlier. | :19:12. | :19:14.
From the chef preparing the food for world leaders, to the craftsman | :19:15. | :19:17.

Paul Rathkey's run this bespoke furniture company near Cowbridge for | :19:24. | :19:30.
years but then a couple of months ago, the phone rang asking him to | :19:31. | :19:33.
His company near Cowbridge has built the table around which the NATO | :19:34. | :19:38.
The workers here have spent weeks getting every one | :19:39. | :19:42.
of its 50 pieces ready, before transporting the table to | :19:43. | :19:45.
We have had a few problems in far as making sure the table all goes | :19:46. | :19:57.
together and making sure it is all right. It is a big table to | :19:58. | :20:01.
assemble, 25 metres by 15. Everything has to be perfect and if | :20:02. | :20:08.
we are 8mm out, it will chuck all the sections of the table out. It is | :20:09. | :20:13.
quite critical we make sure everything is perfectly matched and | :20:14. | :20:15.
everything is finished. For celebrity chef Stephen Terry, | :20:16. | :20:19.

will probably be higher than usual. He'll be in charge | :20:22. | :20:25.
of preparing the dinner for the NATO leaders at Cardiff Castle and | :20:26. | :20:28.
everything will have to be perfect. I am doing the blue ribbon event and | :20:29. | :20:39.
cooking for the main world leaders. A dinner for 35 or 40 people with | :20:40. | :20:49.
Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande, President Obama and associated | :20:50. | :20:50.
people. Tomorrow morning, some of these | :20:51. | :20:53.
children from Mount pleasant primary in Newport may be lucky | :20:54. | :20:55.
enough to meet President Obama. In the meantime they've been busy | :20:56. | :20:58.
writing postcards to him and the other NATO leaders telling them | :20:59. | :21:01.
how they'd like the world to be. This morning they joined pupils | :21:02. | :21:04.
from other parts of Wales to show What does it say? | :21:05. | :21:15.
When I'm growing up I hope people will not waste money and make sure | :21:16. | :21:21.
there is food and water for children across the world. | :21:22. | :21:23.
When I grow up I want all children to be able to go to school because | :21:24. | :21:28.
everyone should have equal rights and even if they are a boy or a | :21:29. | :21:33.
girl, black or white. Do you feel the excitement of the | :21:34. | :21:38.
NATO summit? They be not the excitement of it. -- | :21:39. | :21:44.
maybe not. If you have seen the pictures and you have got relatives | :21:45. | :21:48.
or friends in Cardiff and they are telling you about the police and the | :21:49. | :21:52.
fencing and all of the media going around, you do get a little bit of a | :21:53. | :21:58.
case for it but maybe not so much as being in the middle of it. | :21:59. | :22:02.
Smaller versions of the children's postcards will be | :22:03. | :22:03.
put on the table next to each world leader for them to read at the main | :22:04. | :22:07.
Football and Wales's opening European Championship qualifier | :22:08. | :22:10.
will take place at Andorra's national stadium next Tuesday. | :22:11. | :22:12.
The synthetic 3G pitch passed a FIFA inspection. | :22:13. | :22:14.
There had been concerns over the speed of the ball on the surface but | :22:15. | :22:17.
Glamorgan's County Championship match at Kent ended in a draw. | :22:18. | :22:23.
Graham Wagg hit an unbeaten century to help Glamorgan reach 415 | :22:24. | :22:28.
for nine, declared in their second innings in Canterbury. | :22:29. | :22:32.
Some of the world's top BMX riders are gathering in Powys ahead | :22:33. | :22:35.
of a competition tomorrow to test out a track higher than any other | :22:36. | :22:41.
The group will ride a dirt quarter pipe built into | :22:42. | :22:46.
The site at Revolution Bike Park claims to be able to send BMX riders | :22:47. | :22:51.
There's not another one like this in the world, and to ride it you | :22:52. | :22:56.
Built into the side of a quarry in the quiet village of Llangynog | :22:57. | :23:02.
the owner of the bike park explained to me the | :23:03. | :23:04.
James Foster wants this part of Powys to be | :23:05. | :23:08.
In our business it is about trying to push the boundaries of what | :23:09. | :23:18.
people have been doing before. In here we are looking at what is | :23:19. | :23:22.
possible. As time goes on, we are part of the progression of the | :23:23. | :23:23.
sport. And with riders from | :23:24. | :23:24.
across the world here its reputation This is known as a quarter pipe. | :23:25. | :23:35.
There isn't one like this in the world because of its size but also | :23:36. | :23:44.
because of its service. They will hit speeds of 40 mph and 50 mph. | :23:45. | :23:46.
It's the equivalent of jumping two double-decker buses. | :23:47. | :23:48.
For the riders they've never experienced anything like this The | :23:49. | :23:55.
By the time you are at the bottom your eyes are tearing up because | :23:56. | :24:01.
there is so much wind. I definitely got the most air I've ever caught in | :24:02. | :24:07.
my life. It was quite scary because I almost hit a wall that I missed it | :24:08. | :24:10.
by about that much. I got lucky. The course was designed | :24:11. | :24:24.
by top BMX rider Sebastian Keep and took the idea and sketch drawn | :24:25. | :24:27.
on a piece of paper to Red Bull. They were looking for potential | :24:28. | :24:33.
ideas and they liked it. That felt good. | :24:34. | :24:35.
So with the owners approval it was built and the competition will take | :24:36. | :24:38.
place tomorrow, attracting hundreds to this small town, | :24:39. | :24:40.
Let's hope it stays dry for that competition tomorrow. How is the | :24:41. | :24:48.
forecast looking? It is looking pretty good and it | :24:49. | :24:52.
will stay dry for the competition. A wonderful day across much of Wales | :24:53. | :24:55.
Today. Eyes of pitiful Celsius across Ceredigion -- highs of 24 | :24:56. | :25:03.
Celsius. Another dry night with cloud. This is the satellite | :25:04. | :25:08.
picture, making sense of the cloud across Wales at the moment. The best | :25:09. | :25:12.
of the brightness along the coastal areas, continuing tomorrow. Through | :25:13. | :25:17.
this evening a fine evening with quite a lots of cloud around with | :25:18. | :25:20.
some hints of brightness. Another quiet night and fairly mild with | :25:21. | :25:25.
plenty of dry weather to look forward to. Temperatures between 12 | :25:26. | :25:31.
and 14 Celsius. I pressure is sitting comfortably across northern | :25:32. | :25:34.
Russia and Scandinavia, bringing fine weather in Wales. A weather | :25:35. | :25:39.
front sneaking into Scotland and Northern Ireland but the high | :25:40. | :25:42.
pressure will block that out for Wales. A dry starts tomorrow in | :25:43. | :25:48.
Powys but a cloudy morning. For Wrexham, Denbighshire, flinch and | :25:49. | :25:52.
Connelly, there will be some hints of brightness. -- flinch I. In | :25:53. | :26:04.
Carmarthenshire there will be a little bit of cloud. The sunshine | :26:05. | :26:09.
gets to work, learning through the cloud, mist and fog so the weather | :26:10. | :26:14.
improving so by the afternoon we will start to see a little bit more | :26:15. | :26:20.
cloud. Highs of 19 or about 21 Celsius. A quiet night tomorrow as | :26:21. | :26:27.
well with variable amounts of cloud. Some mist and fog forming and | :26:28. | :26:31.
temperatures very mild indeed, tween 11 and 16 Celsius. We end the | :26:32. | :26:38.
working week on a fine note with highs of 16 or 21 Celsius. Variable | :26:39. | :26:43.
amounts of cloud but essentially a dry end to the week. By the time we | :26:44. | :26:48.
get to Saturday we will see a few showers across mid and North Wales | :26:49. | :26:52.
force op head further south and west it is drier, feeling cooler through | :26:53. | :27:03.
Saturday and Sunday for the weekend. A British man has been threatened | :27:04. | :27:07.
with death by Islamic state fighters. A video has been released, | :27:08. | :27:13.
appearing to show the beheading of a second journalist. In it they | :27:14. | :27:15.
claimed a British journalist would be next. | :27:16. | :27:19.
On the eve of the NATO summit, the Secretary General says it faces an | :27:20. | :27:23.
arc of crises, stretching from the Middle East to the east of Europe. | :27:24. | :27:27.
The present stiffs from 60 countries will meet the Celtic Manor resort | :27:28. | :27:34.
tomorrow. We will have a quick update for you | :27:35. | :27:38.
at 8pm and more after the BBC News at ten but that is Wales Today. From | :27:39. | :27:43.
all others on the programme, thank you for your company and good | :27:44. | :27:44.
evening. | :27:45. | :27:45. |
