help the steel industry but has been criticised by Labour and steel | :00:00. | :00:00.
Welcome to Wales Today: Our top story. | :00:00. | :00:00.
Emergency talks on the future of the steel industry - | :00:00. | :00:07.
the UK Government insists it's doing all it can, | :00:08. | :00:10.
We're not ruling anything out. I do not believe nationalisation is the | :00:11. | :00:25.
right answer, we want to secure a long-term future for Port Talbot. | :00:26. | :00:29.
Has the Government ignored the plight of the Welsh people? | :00:30. | :00:39.
Will last a Welsh Secretary if they have a plan to save jobs. | :00:40. | :00:42.
The future of thousands of steel workers is now a big election issue. | :00:43. | :00:45.
So what can those who want power here | :00:46. | :00:47.
Also tonight - there's exactly five weeks until you get | :00:48. | :00:51.
to cast your vote and decide who will | :00:52. | :00:56.
So what are the parties proposing, the key battlegrounds? | :00:57. | :00:59.
We'll be asking what do you want from the next Welsh government? | :01:00. | :01:16.
The Prime Minister's warning as the fight to save thousands | :01:17. | :01:26.
David Cameron chaired a meeting of key ministers | :01:27. | :01:29.
He says his Government is doing everything it can to save Britain's | :01:30. | :01:33.
But critics say its handling of the crisis has been "a shambles". | :01:34. | :01:38.
From Westminster, here's our parliamentary correspondent, | :01:39. | :01:39.
A lot at stake as cabinet ministers arrived in Downing Street | :01:40. | :01:45.
Are you going to save thousands of welsh jobs"? | :01:46. | :01:56.
The meeting, chaired by the prime minister, | :01:57. | :01:57.
We were concerned that there was the chance that there | :01:58. | :02:01.
been an outright closure of Port Talbot and that is why | :02:02. | :02:09.
we worked very hard with the company to make sure there is a proper sales | :02:10. | :02:13.
process and we'll be doing everything we can to encourage | :02:14. | :02:15.
people to come forward but this is a difficult situation, | :02:16. | :02:17.
That warning - no guarantee of success - will be widely seen | :02:18. | :02:21.
as an attempt to manage expectations as Tata Steel tries to offload | :02:22. | :02:24.
a business that loses a million pounds a day. | :02:25. | :02:27.
The prime minister said he wasn't ruling anything out - | :02:28. | :02:34.
but he didn't believe nationalisation was the | :02:35. | :02:35.
Labour says UK ministers should have done more in the run-up to Tata's | :02:36. | :02:49.
decision to sell. It has been a shambles. A blend of incompetence | :02:50. | :02:57.
and indifference. It wasn't Anna Soubry with me in on by? Some of | :02:58. | :03:02.
that delegation who went to India are not backing Port Talbot hoping | :03:03. | :03:06.
they can make a difference to the prospects for Britain's biggest | :03:07. | :03:11.
steelworks. -- now back in Port Talbot. We need support while we are | :03:12. | :03:17.
looking for a buyer or the next step and that is going to be essential | :03:18. | :03:22.
going forward. I don't believe renationalisation is the right way | :03:23. | :03:25.
to go for the simple reason that we don't want a hand-out or any | :03:26. | :03:30.
charity. All we want is an even playing field and a fair crack of | :03:31. | :03:36.
the whip. Tata also has operations in Newport, Llanelli and Shotton. | :03:37. | :03:45.
Together they employ almost 3000 people. Today is the 36th | :03:46. | :03:52.
anniversary of the web works behind us lost 6500 men in one day. That | :03:53. | :03:55.
happened under a nationalised industry. We need short-term help to | :03:56. | :04:02.
ensure the businesses around Tata steel are still viable for when a | :04:03. | :04:06.
buyer is found. The eyes of the world are on Port Talbot tonight. | :04:07. | :04:11.
The UK Government claims to intervene to prevent its overnight | :04:12. | :04:14.
closure and give breathing space to the search for a buyer but it may | :04:15. | :04:18.
not be enough to stop the sun setting on an iconic industry. | :04:19. | :04:25.
Livestock to the Welsh Secretary now. What exactly was discussed at | :04:26. | :04:32.
the meeting today. This was a range of meetings, we have been meeting | :04:33. | :04:36.
for several months about the prospects and knew what was likely | :04:37. | :04:40.
to happen on Monday nights but if plan came into place to not rule any | :04:41. | :04:46.
option outs but we do not believe nationalisation is the way forward. | :04:47. | :04:52.
The Chancellor speaking today said the intervention by the UK | :04:53. | :04:55.
Government prevented the overnight closure of Port Talbot. What was | :04:56. | :05:01.
that intervention? A package of an energy intensive industries, you | :05:02. | :05:06.
change the procurement rules, to make sure British Steel has the best | :05:07. | :05:11.
prospects of was complex. Any last-minute intervention? Bay has | :05:12. | :05:15.
been a positive engagement with Parker. Papa said have been intense | :05:16. | :05:21.
engagement with the UK Government. -- Tata Steel. I went -- we are | :05:22. | :05:30.
actively engaged. You say that but why weren't you mum by talking to | :05:31. | :05:34.
the bosses of Tata Steel. Why did you read to the unions and a local | :05:35. | :05:40.
MP. Being in Mumbai would not have made any difference. Our | :05:41. | :05:45.
relationship with Tata is very close and we are the main determined to | :05:46. | :05:50.
maintain that close relationship. We want to get to position where the | :05:51. | :05:54.
prospect of the sale but this much closer now than it would have been | :05:55. | :06:01.
potentially. That is what I spoke to about the local MP before he went to | :06:02. | :06:06.
Mumbai. What we must do now is work together, both the local community, | :06:07. | :06:10.
UK Government and Welsh Government and the unions. Any private buyer | :06:11. | :06:15.
wants to see a positive engagement from all parties rather than any | :06:16. | :06:18.
political fall outs that may happen as a result of local tensions. I can | :06:19. | :06:24.
understand that but our interest is in local jobs, the local community | :06:25. | :06:29.
as well as the UK National strategic interest. Thank you very much | :06:30. | :06:30.
indeed. First Minister Carwyn Jones spoke | :06:31. | :06:32.
to Tata bosses in India earlier, and said they must allow | :06:33. | :06:35.
enough time to find a new owner Tata's decision to pull-out of Wales | :06:36. | :06:39.
comes at the start of the campaign for May's Assembly Election, | :06:40. | :06:43.
and we'll have more on that First our political correspondent | :06:44. | :06:46.
Daniel Davies asks what can the Welsh government | :06:47. | :06:50.
do about this crisis? The banks were bailed out | :06:51. | :06:55.
and today there were calls from across the political | :06:56. | :06:59.
spectrum for the UK Government to help | :07:00. | :07:09.
the steel industry too. Carwyn Jones says the Welsh | :07:10. | :07:11.
Government just doesn't The First Minister spent half | :07:12. | :07:17.
an hour on the phone The Welsh Government | :07:18. | :07:20.
said they had a frank Mr Jones called for Tata to allow | :07:21. | :07:23.
"months, not weeks," to secure a seal, and Tata is said | :07:24. | :07:26.
to have cofirmed it was committed and not a bit-part sale | :07:27. | :07:30.
of its British businesses. Labour has been in power for 17 | :07:31. | :07:33.
years but at a debate in the Wrexham last night the outgoing economy | :07:34. | :07:37.
minister said this crisis Government since 1999. | :07:38. | :07:39.
declined as a result of a Labour Market forces prevail, | :07:40. | :07:49.
global capitalism prevails, and the steel industry has been | :07:50. | :07:50.
badly affected by those issues. The Tories said their Westminster | :07:51. | :07:53.
Government and whoever forms the next Welsh Government | :07:54. | :07:57.
will have to work together. Neither the Westminster Government | :07:58. | :08:00.
nor the assembly Government were prepared to go to Mumbai | :08:01. | :08:03.
to meet with I regret that and I think it | :08:04. | :08:05.
would help, even though it was likely the announcement | :08:06. | :08:10.
was not going to be Plaid Cymru proposed | :08:11. | :08:12.
the part-nationalisation of steel But the Welsh Government today | :08:13. | :08:16.
strongly rejected that claim The Welsh Government must be | :08:17. | :08:23.
in a leadership role. The precise form of that leadership | :08:24. | :08:27.
is something we need The Liberal Democrats say some | :08:28. | :08:32.
opportunities to help the steel Things like redesigning | :08:33. | :08:42.
procurement contracts so we are matching our requirements | :08:43. | :08:48.
to the skillset of Welsh steel. That is something the Welsh | :08:49. | :08:57.
Government could have done, it promised to do, | :08:58. | :08:59.
and still has not done. Ukip esay rescuing Port | :09:00. | :09:01.
Talbot would require action on energy costs | :09:02. | :09:03.
and cheap Chinese imports. Port Talbot is, I understand, | :09:04. | :09:05.
losing over ?1 million per day and it is going to be very | :09:06. | :09:08.
difficult to persuade any buyer to take on that loan | :09:09. | :09:12.
rate of loss and liability, or indeed | :09:13. | :09:14.
for the taxpayer. AMs are called back | :09:15. | :09:18.
the Senedd on Monday. The questions about what they can | :09:19. | :09:23.
do to continue throughout the election | :09:24. | :09:25.
campaign and beyond polling day. Tonight we're taking a closer | :09:26. | :09:32.
look at what's at stake. With more let's join Lucy, | :09:33. | :09:35.
who is in Cardiff Bay Good Evening and welcome the Senedd | :09:36. | :09:38.
- home to the Welsh Assembly. In five weeks time on May 5th we'll | :09:39. | :09:50.
have the opportunity to vote for the next 60 people | :09:51. | :09:53.
who will become representatives A new government for Wales will be | :09:54. | :09:57.
formed, which will make decisions about some of our most important | :09:58. | :10:03.
services like schools and hospitals. So what exactly will | :10:04. | :10:07.
you be voting for? Roger Pinney's been | :10:08. | :10:09.
to Bangor-on-Dee, They used to call this the English | :10:10. | :10:24.
but of North East building wheels that jut out with Shropshire to the | :10:25. | :10:29.
south, surrounded on three sides by England. This is the bridge across | :10:30. | :10:34.
the river at the which gives this place the English version of its | :10:35. | :10:41.
name. We really are an border country here. For centuries this | :10:42. | :10:46.
place has looked to ways, towards Wales, towards England. So what if | :10:47. | :10:52.
the Welsh assembly and Welsh Government responsible for? Do you | :10:53. | :10:55.
know what the Russian Government does as opposed to the Westminster | :10:56. | :11:02.
Government? Sadly, I don't. -- the Welsh Government. I would like to | :11:03. | :11:07.
know more. They are responsible for health, the NHS. They are | :11:08. | :11:12.
responsible for social services. Is there something coming new with | :11:13. | :11:19.
regards to tax? The primary school year was a sixth century will sink | :11:20. | :11:23.
which is where it takes its name from. These days the majority of the | :11:24. | :11:28.
pupils come from the Welsh side of the border while a come from the | :11:29. | :11:34.
English side of the border. The year six class working to show me a news | :11:35. | :11:39.
report they put together. Education is devolved, and the headteacher | :11:40. | :11:47.
here explained that can cause confusion. Teachers are definitely | :11:48. | :11:50.
understand what I'm not sure amongst the pigeons because we do get | :11:51. | :11:54.
questions sometimes about things that may come up on the news. -- | :11:55. | :12:01.
amongst the pavements I'm not sure. We have different exams here so | :12:02. | :12:07.
often there are queries from parents. So who does what? These are | :12:08. | :12:13.
some of the responsibility is not passed to Wales from Westminster. | :12:14. | :12:23.
Those things that are decided here, the environment, how much money | :12:24. | :12:28.
available to defend places like this from flooding. The community has a | :12:29. | :12:32.
surgery and dentist alongside education, health is another of the | :12:33. | :12:38.
Wales Government's Key responsibilities as is the cash that | :12:39. | :12:43.
goes to local councils. In the pub, thoughts turn to other Welsh | :12:44. | :12:49.
Government powers. Transport, planning, agriculture and tourism | :12:50. | :12:54.
and efforts to win more visitors. The Welsh Government is a very real | :12:55. | :12:59.
thing would you. Definitely. We are graded from things like Visit Wales | :13:00. | :13:05.
and we work closely with the local Government to make sure everything | :13:06. | :13:10.
we do is trying to push the area and North East Wales in particular and | :13:11. | :13:16.
our brand to the wider area. Germany, Netherlands, Japan, and | :13:17. | :13:20.
bring them into the area. Decisions made in bills that impact all our | :13:21. | :13:25.
lives. This told me set just the few miles inside the border but for | :13:26. | :13:30.
here, as a cross Wales, there is a lot at stake. | :13:31. | :13:37.
Well, if you haven't registered to vote yet, | :13:38. | :13:39.
There are five main political parties in Wales to choose from - | :13:40. | :13:44.
we'll be hearing lots from them - and some of the smaller parties | :13:45. | :13:47.
over the next few weeks, and grilling the leaders on how | :13:48. | :13:49.
they propose to spend an annual budget of more than | :13:50. | :13:52.
So who are they, and how confident are they going in to this election? | :13:53. | :13:58.
This is the fifth Assembly Dlection, and the Conservatives, | :13:59. | :14:01.
Labour, Liberal Democrats, Plaid Cymru and Ukip are battling | :14:02. | :14:03.
And these are the five people leading | :14:04. | :14:11.
those main parties in the fight for those seats. | :14:12. | :14:13.
Labour's been the biggest party in the assembly ever | :14:14. | :14:19.
since devolution and has always been in Government. | :14:20. | :14:21.
Now under threat in several marginal constituencies, | :14:22. | :14:29.
party insiders are concentrating on minimising losses. | :14:30. | :14:32.
But its leader insist the campaign will be a positive one. | :14:33. | :14:40.
If we say to people vote for us because everybody | :14:41. | :14:44.
else is a bit worse, that's not the way to invigorate | :14:45. | :14:47.
You do it on the basis that we have the best policies | :14:48. | :14:52.
and make people excited about the future. | :14:53. | :14:53.
As for the Conservatives, at last year's General Election | :14:54. | :14:55.
The question is whether their leader here can repeat | :14:56. | :15:00.
You can see why they wanted me to stand in for a Brad Pitt, | :15:01. | :15:05.
His targets include a string of Labour seats. | :15:06. | :15:09.
I never feel pressure, and enjoy and thrive on every | :15:10. | :15:20.
minute of the political bubble I live in and what we've got to do | :15:21. | :15:24.
is make sure people know the Welsh Conservatives | :15:25. | :15:25.
Another party with reason to feel pressure is Plaid. | :15:26. | :15:29.
It lost four seats last time around after | :15:30. | :15:31.
being Coalition government with Labour. | :15:32. | :15:32.
The party made little progress at the General Wlection | :15:33. | :15:35.
despite Leanne Wood's UK-wide media exposure. | :15:36. | :15:36.
They took that about year ago, I think. | :15:37. | :15:42.
After a string of disappointing results how vital does | :15:43. | :15:48.
she think progress is this time, for both her and the party? | :15:49. | :15:50.
This election is important in the scheme of that | :15:51. | :16:03.
project but my team is fighting the election and I don't take it | :16:04. | :16:06.
personally and don't see it is my sole responsibility. | :16:07. | :16:08.
For the Welsh Liberal Democrats this is a battle for | :16:09. | :16:11.
The party lost 49 of its 57 MPs last year. | :16:12. | :16:23.
They'll be mainly concentrating on their heartland in the hope | :16:24. | :16:25.
of clinging onto a meaningful number of AMs. | :16:26. | :16:31.
Welsh Liberal Democrats, and if people value having a liberal | :16:32. | :16:35.
voice in Welsh politics then they must go | :16:36. | :16:37.
And what about the new kids on the block? | :16:38. | :16:40.
The proportional element of the voting system suits Ukip. | :16:41. | :16:43.
The party should elect several regional | :16:44. | :16:54.
AMs if it manages to get a similar percentage of the vote as it did | :16:55. | :16:57.
in the General Election in Wales | :16:58. | :16:59.
Their leader rejects the idea that the party will have no purpose | :17:00. | :17:05.
There is a need for somebody to speak for the working man | :17:06. | :17:11.
and woman on the street, somebody needs to voice their concerns and it | :17:12. | :17:14.
seems the only party wanting to do that is Ukip. | :17:15. | :17:18.
These five leaders will now spend the next | :17:19. | :17:20.
five weeks zigzagging the country trying to win your vote. | :17:21. | :17:25.
I'm joined by our Political Editor Nick Servini. | :17:26. | :17:30.
We're in Wales will this election be won and lost? I think one of the big | :17:31. | :17:37.
battle grounds will won and lost? I think one of the big | :17:38. | :17:46.
Wales. Places like kind of loss. Where in the general election the | :17:47. | :17:50.
Conservatives retained them comfortably and yet they do not hold | :17:51. | :17:54.
them in the Assembly. At the heart of this will be how Jeremy Corbyn | :17:55. | :17:59.
plays for Labour on the doorstep. The question is how it will be in | :18:00. | :18:04.
the marginal seats where they really need support. Another fascinating | :18:05. | :18:08.
area will be North East Wales which would be used to call Labour | :18:09. | :18:13.
heartland areas. The question is the extent to which a Labour come under | :18:14. | :18:16.
pressure because of problems in the NHS in particular and North Wales. | :18:17. | :18:22.
Also perhaps a sense that Ukip could hurt labour more than the | :18:23. | :18:26.
Conservatives. Two final head-to-head battle is not a | :18:27. | :18:31.
mention. Llanelli is issued seat for Plaid Cymru and they really need to | :18:32. | :18:36.
see a game there. The Liberal Democrat leader seat is going to | :18:37. | :18:41.
come under pressure from the Conservatives. So what will the | :18:42. | :18:46.
election before on? The NHS unsurprisingly. In the general | :18:47. | :18:50.
election the NHS was arguably the big issue, despite the fact it is a | :18:51. | :18:55.
devolved matter. This is the right election for the NHS to dominate and | :18:56. | :19:00.
I still expect it to do so. Worth mentioning the EU referendum. All | :19:01. | :19:05.
the parties you will have to battle against the noisy platform of the | :19:06. | :19:09.
referendum campaign. They will come under a lot of pressure to get that | :19:10. | :19:19.
message across. A final point on the economy, occasionally game changing | :19:20. | :19:21.
issues arise. And the future of the steel industry is just one of those. | :19:22. | :19:25.
We could see events unfold during the next five weeks which will have | :19:26. | :19:31.
a major impact in terms of the economic debates which all the | :19:32. | :19:33.
parties will have to address. Thank you very much. The campaigning has | :19:34. | :19:37.
begun. The Liberal Democrats | :19:38. | :19:38.
launched their election Leader Kirsty Williams highlighted | :19:39. | :19:39.
they party's key priorities - including providing more nurses, | :19:40. | :19:43.
reducing class sizes and increasing Arwyn Jones was at the launch | :19:44. | :19:45.
in Llanrhystud, Ceredigion The Liberal Democrats decided to | :19:46. | :20:00.
start their campaign at the golf club. In a constituency where they | :20:01. | :20:07.
are hopeful of making games. We have spent the months running up to the | :20:08. | :20:10.
election listening to the people of Wales and what they want and we have | :20:11. | :20:14.
heard loud and clear they want a Welsh Government to get the basics | :20:15. | :20:18.
right. A health service there when they need it, good schools for their | :20:19. | :20:24.
children an opportunity economy, an economy that doesn't just allow them | :20:25. | :20:28.
to survive but actually thrive. We are clear they want to ensure a more | :20:29. | :20:33.
nurses in hospitals, we cut class sizes so teachers have time to get | :20:34. | :20:38.
to individual students and we want a successful economy allowing people | :20:39. | :20:43.
to buy their own home, for instance. Launching the campaign any golf | :20:44. | :20:48.
club, they say predictions of the electoral demise are par for the | :20:49. | :20:51.
course. However they had a terrible time at the general election last | :20:52. | :20:57.
year, down to just one Welsh MP. They could be in for a difficult | :20:58. | :21:01.
time in May, according to opinion polls. That is no doubt this will be | :21:02. | :21:07.
tough election. Pauling suggest they are unlikely to hold their current | :21:08. | :21:10.
five seeds and it will be tough for them to hold onto one or two seats | :21:11. | :21:17.
at this election. -- fibre seats. They told the run up their | :21:18. | :21:21.
performances have been below par they are on the up with more members | :21:22. | :21:26.
and Wales and hoping for a strong showing in May. What happens after | :21:27. | :21:31.
the elections in May is up to the people of Wales. We must stick | :21:32. | :21:36.
strongly to a message and what comes will come. Right now all the parties | :21:37. | :21:41.
up there with their messages for the electorate and it is early days in | :21:42. | :21:46.
the campaign. Once we put our message across IM sure the response | :21:47. | :21:50.
will be confident one. -- positive one. There is no doubt be part that | :21:51. | :21:56.
has been through a difficult period, our however, as in golf, we hope is | :21:57. | :22:03.
if they can all do know they can succeed on May five. -- they hope | :22:04. | :22:08.
they can succeed. On the 5th of May. We are going to hear plenty | :22:09. | :22:11.
from politicians about what they'll deliver if they form | :22:12. | :22:14.
the next Welsh Government. Well, during the next few weeks - | :22:15. | :22:16.
you've got the chance to tell them - as part of our My | :22:17. | :22:21.
Manifesto 2016 Project. Have you ever wished you could get | :22:22. | :22:26.
your ideas straight into the hands of the First Minister? Well, now is | :22:27. | :22:34.
your chance. This is my Manifesto 2016. Right now it's empty but | :22:35. | :22:38.
between now and polling day I'm planning on filling it up your | :22:39. | :22:44.
ideas. To do this and taking it across the country to ask what you | :22:45. | :22:49.
would do if you were in charge of running Wales. If I was First | :22:50. | :22:54.
Minister I would reorganise the NHS. I would try my best to create more | :22:55. | :22:59.
jobs. I would ensure all disabled people get equal rights. We'll on | :23:00. | :23:08.
the BBC election tour. Starting here on the 18th of April. We will be | :23:09. | :23:12.
travelling the length and breadth of Wales over two weeks to find out | :23:13. | :23:16.
what will it matters to you in this election. At the bringing Might | :23:17. | :23:22.
Manifesto 2016 to every stop along the way and fill it with the issues | :23:23. | :23:26.
you really care about. If you can come along and get in | :23:27. | :23:30.
touch by e-mail. -- can't come along. | :23:31. | :23:43.
When the votes are counted as present the full Might Manifesto | :23:44. | :23:52.
2016 to the First Minister to make sure they really know what you want. | :23:53. | :23:57.
If you want to have your voice heard this election, then get involved. | :23:58. | :24:02.
Here it is - waiting to be filled with all your suggestions, | :24:03. | :24:06.
I'm looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts over the coming | :24:07. | :24:15.

There will be alive question and answer on our Facebook page after | :24:31. | :24:41.
broadcast. The Ministry of Defence has been | :24:42. | :24:44.
reprimanded over failures which led to the deaths of three soldiers | :24:45. | :24:46.
in the Brecon Beacons. Reservists Craig Roberts, | :24:47. | :24:49.
from Penrhyn Bay, Edward Maher and James Dunsby died as a result | :24:50. | :24:51.
of neglect while on The Health and Safety Executive | :24:52. | :24:58.
issued its strongest sanction - a crown censure - | :24:59. | :25:01.
as the law does not allow The MoD has apologised | :25:02. | :25:04.
for the failings. The outgoing Arts Council | :25:05. | :25:11.
of Wales Chairman has claimed The Welsh government sometimes | :25:12. | :25:18.
operate in a Professor Dai Smith says | :25:19. | :25:20.
the Arts Council has effectively been barred from offering | :25:21. | :25:33.
its expertise to the Welsh government's creative | :25:34. | :25:35.
industries team. The Welsh government has declined | :25:36. | :25:36.
to comment on the issue. There are some parts of Government | :25:37. | :25:39.
ministerial office which seem incapable of understanding that | :25:40. | :25:41.
co-operation and partnership is the name of the game, | :25:42. | :25:43.
not chivvying and ordering people about, and sometimes getting | :25:44. | :25:45.

changing tomorrow. Some evening sunshine tonight, staying largely | :26:07. | :26:14.
dry. Any showers dying out. Under clear skies with light winds it will | :26:15. | :26:18.
turn colder overnight. Maximum four Celsius. Looking at the pressure | :26:19. | :26:25.
chart, the high-pressure keeping things settled today were clear away | :26:26. | :26:29.
towards Scandinavia and we have a front pushing in from the Atlantic | :26:30. | :26:33.
tomorrow. The morning Star is called, early frost which were clear | :26:34. | :26:40.
and a bright and breezy morning. The best of the dry weather in the south | :26:41. | :26:46.
and east returning clothier. We've got a band of rain trying to push in | :26:47. | :26:53.
across northern wheels later on. Strong southerly winds. Top | :26:54. | :26:59.
temperatures up to 11 Celsius. The weather front pushing into model it | :27:00. | :27:04.
should be clearing north and west once again by Friday and into | :27:05. | :27:10.
Saturday. Friday night is largely cloudy with rain in the north and | :27:11. | :27:15.
the West. Best of the dry weather in the south and east. Overnight | :27:16. | :27:19.
temperatures around six Celsius. Brain again in the north and west | :27:20. | :27:24.
and Saturday morning. Best of the dry weather in the south and turning | :27:25. | :27:31.
bright and sunny. Similar on Sunday with plenty of dry weather and | :27:32. | :27:35.
strong southerly winds, tropical area, turning warmer for the | :27:36. | :27:45.
weekend. David Cameron has warned that is no guarantee of success as | :27:46. | :27:50.
the fight to save steel jobs gets underway. He chaired the meeting at | :27:51. | :27:53.
Westminster today. We'll have an update for you and 8, | :27:54. | :27:55.
