Welcome to Wales Today. Our top stories:

:00:00.:00:00.

the First Minister meets the Prime Minister to find a future

:00:00.:00:09.

for Port Talbot and the other Welsh steel plants.

:00:10.:00:16.

Tonight, I'm at the Liberty Steel plant in Newport.

:00:17.:00:18.

Could the entrepreneur who owns this place offer hope

:00:19.:00:20.

Anglesey's new nuclear power station could be Wales' biggest

:00:21.:00:27.

But the warning tonight that it has almost zero chance of being built.

:00:28.:00:34.

Kirsty Williams is fighting for her political life.

:00:35.:00:36.

Can she save the Liberal Democrats from being wiped out

:00:37.:00:39.

And England's Joe Marler faces a World Rugby disciplinary hearing

:00:40.:00:51.

for his comments to Wales' Samson Lee during

:00:52.:00:53.

There are several options on the table

:00:54.:01:09.

That was the message from the First Minister,

:01:10.:01:12.

Carwyn Jones, following a meeting with the Prime Minister

:01:13.:01:14.

It was described as "productive" by both governments and covered

:01:15.:01:20.

issues such as energy costs and steel tariffs.

:01:21.:01:23.

Meanwhile, Tata Steel has said it doesn't have a timescale

:01:24.:01:26.

for selling its plants, but that discussions

:01:27.:01:29.

Here's our business correspondent, Brian Meechan.

:01:30.:01:39.

This morning's meeting was said to be constructive. It seems clear by

:01:40.:01:45.

now that any deal to stave -- save International Olympic Committee's

:01:46.:01:49.

Welsh Guards will involve both governments. But the heaviest

:01:50.:01:54.

financial burden will have to be met by the UK. -- Welsh plants.

:01:55.:01:58.

Ministers will not say how much they are prepared to put forward but

:01:59.:02:02.

insists the options are open on pensions, energy costs and tariffs

:02:03.:02:07.

on cheap steel imports. The Business Secretary, Sajid Javid, spoke to

:02:08.:02:11.

frustrated steelworkers on a visit to Port Talbot last week after

:02:12.:02:14.

criticism of his handling of the crisis. He is on his way to Mumbai

:02:15.:02:20.

to meet with Tata bosses in the morning. What I want to achieve

:02:21.:02:23.

mostly out of that is to have a final agreement on the sales

:02:24.:02:26.

process, and it comes back to the role of the UK Government and I want

:02:27.:02:30.

to make sure that when the documentation for that is issued, it

:02:31.:02:35.

is clear that the UK Government understand the role of every

:02:36.:02:38.

potential buyer and we are well coordinated with Tata. It is clear

:02:39.:02:42.

that Tata has been focusing on other parts of its European business.

:02:43.:02:45.

Diggers show that in February this year, Tata produced 598,000 tonnes

:02:46.:02:53.

of steel at Port Talbot. That was a 37.9% drop on the previous year. At

:02:54.:02:58.

the same time, the melly-mac increased production at its site in

:02:59.:03:02.

the Netherlands to 602,000 tonnes of steel. That was up 9.4% on the

:03:03.:03:08.

previous year. Speaking to the enterprise and Business Committee at

:03:09.:03:11.

the SMB Mac, Tata says it is looking to find a buyer quickly. The

:03:12.:03:19.

uncertainty that the process leads to amongst employees, customers,

:03:20.:03:23.

suppliers etc, means we are very interested in completing the process

:03:24.:03:29.

as quickly as we can. One potential buyer that has emerged is Newport's

:03:30.:03:35.

Liberty Stadium. It has bought International Olympic Committee's

:03:36.:03:39.

Scottish operations and took some part of another plant after when --

:03:40.:03:45.

it went to administration. But the Welsh operations are on a much

:03:46.:03:49.

bigger scale. One of the key aspects is the energy question. We need a

:03:50.:03:53.

solution to that. If we melt steel, it has to be melted on legislative

:03:54.:03:57.

energy. But what realistically can be done about that? Expert on

:03:58.:04:02.

European rules that restrict what governments can do to help

:04:03.:04:06.

businesses says subsidising energy costs would be difficult. The

:04:07.:04:10.

Government could not subsidise those costs, that would be seen as

:04:11.:04:16.

operating in an illegal way. Business rates is a difficult one.

:04:17.:04:23.

Again, that would have to be agreed with the Commission. It is

:04:24.:04:31.

potentially very small money. One specialist says the steel industry

:04:32.:04:34.

needs continuous innovation to improve productivity. That should

:04:35.:04:38.

lead to smaller plants that are cheaper to run, similar to Liberty

:04:39.:04:44.

Steel's mini meal. What we could see happening now is a move to

:04:45.:04:47.

specialist smaller plants. -- mini mill. It could be it into four,

:04:48.:04:53.

five, six smaller That could sit alongside one

:04:54.:05:02.

another, you get economies of scale around the skilled workforce but the

:05:03.:05:06.

funds themselves are specialist producers. It would see Port Talbot

:05:07.:05:11.

change from making skills -- steal from scratch to recycling it from

:05:12.:05:15.

scratch. It is not clear whether any other buyers will come forward who

:05:16.:05:16.

want to keep the plant as it is. Brian is at Liberty Steel

:05:17.:05:18.

in Newport tonight. Brian, the owner of that plant

:05:19.:05:20.

is the centre of attention, but tomorrow, the focus

:05:21.:05:22.

is back on Tata in Mumbai? That is absolutely right. Sanjiv

:05:23.:05:33.

Gupta, who owns the site, met with the UK Government today, said it was

:05:34.:05:38.

very positive, he said the Welsh Government has been very engaged,

:05:39.:05:41.

but it is now up to Tata to outline the sales process and also to invite

:05:42.:05:46.

buyers to come in and put their opposition. Mr Gupta said he will

:05:47.:05:54.

look at that when that next step happens but he has also said that

:05:55.:05:57.

everyone is very motivated to find a solution, and we are seeing the UK

:05:58.:06:02.

Government's Business Secretary going over to Mumbai to meet Tata,

:06:03.:06:06.

to talk about the role of the UK Government in this sales process and

:06:07.:06:10.

to find out how Tata wants to progress. That will perhaps be

:06:11.:06:15.

satisfied, more satisfying to those people who are very critical of the

:06:16.:06:20.

UK Government, many very critical of the Welsh Government for not being

:06:21.:06:23.

more involved earlier, before the decision was taken to put it up for

:06:24.:06:26.

sale. Brian, thank you. Plans for a new power plant

:06:27.:06:28.

on Anglesey have a "slim to zero" That's according to an expert

:06:29.:06:31.

on the world's nuclear industry, who argues that the difficulties

:06:32.:06:35.

faced by the proposed Hinkley Point C reactors in Somerset

:06:36.:06:39.

would affect Wylfa Newydd's ability Our environment correspondent,

:06:40.:06:42.

Steffan Messenger, reports. If it gets off the ground,

:06:43.:06:49.

Wylfa Newydd will become one of the biggest infrastructure projects

:06:50.:06:51.

ever undertaken in Wales. A new ?10 billion nuclear

:06:52.:06:55.

power plant, capable of delivering electricity

:06:56.:07:02.

to around 14 million homes But to what extent does the future

:07:03.:07:04.

transformation does this site, at Cemaes Bay in Anglesey,

:07:05.:07:08.

depend on the fate of another, rival plant, some 200 miles

:07:09.:07:11.

away in Somerset? Hinkley Point C is causing a huge

:07:12.:07:16.

headache for its developer, EDF, with similar projects in

:07:17.:07:19.

Finland and France behind schedule A final decision on whether to

:07:20.:07:22.

commit to the English plants The Hinkley Point C project

:07:23.:07:27.

is in great difficulty... The situation raises serious doubts

:07:28.:07:34.

for the future of the other nuclear reactors

:07:35.:07:36.

the UK has in the pipeline, according to this former

:07:37.:07:40.

adviser for the French The Hinkley Point C project is

:07:41.:07:42.

far ahead, and the uncertainties are even much larger

:07:43.:07:48.

in the case of Wylfa. So, what are the chances,

:07:49.:07:52.

would you say, But the company behind

:07:53.:07:54.

Wylfa Newydd says On-site, building work

:07:55.:08:00.

is already under way on new office space for

:08:01.:08:04.

Horizon Nuclear Power. I think it is important

:08:05.:08:07.

to note that while Hinkley appears to

:08:08.:08:09.

be going through some difficulties at the moment, for us,

:08:10.:08:11.

we have technology, the advanced boiling water reactor,

:08:12.:08:13.

which is very different to the European

:08:14.:08:16.

pressurised reactor that ours has been built before

:08:17.:08:18.

four times, has been But there is a long way to go before

:08:19.:08:24.

construction can start in earnest, from licensing the design

:08:25.:08:29.

of the reactors, getting planning permission and most importantly,

:08:30.:08:31.

attracting enough investment Key to that will be

:08:32.:08:34.

hammering out with the UK Government how much money

:08:35.:08:40.

the company are guaranteed to get Nuclear projects are very complex,

:08:41.:08:42.

they are very costly, and nuclear power stations take

:08:43.:08:47.

a long time to build. But I do believe that energy policy

:08:48.:08:50.

in the UK favours nuclear. We are here as a

:08:51.:08:55.

council to work with Horizon, to help them de-risk the project,

:08:56.:08:57.

and we are also here to work with and influence

:08:58.:09:00.

the Welsh Government so it is very important

:09:01.:09:02.

that the project goes ahead. Horizon insists the difficulties

:09:03.:09:09.

faced by its rival, EDF, will not cast a shadow over

:09:10.:09:12.

Wylfa Newydd's prospects. But as the French firm

:09:13.:09:15.

finalises its plans for Hinkley Point C, any repercussions

:09:16.:09:17.

for the industry further afield One of the most high profile

:09:18.:09:20.

Tories, Boris Johnson, says the Conservatives

:09:21.:09:29.

are "on the rise" in Wales. The Mayor of London has spent

:09:30.:09:31.

the day campaigning in Wales Ahead of the election, Plaid Cymru

:09:32.:09:35.

has published its manifesto, containing what it calls a plan

:09:36.:09:45.

for a new Wales. Plaid says its policies for public

:09:46.:09:47.

services would redirect ?1 billion of the Welsh Government's

:09:48.:09:52.

?15 billion budget. Here's our political correspondent,

:09:53.:09:56.

Daniel Davies. Raise your sights,

:09:57.:10:00.

show some vision - that's what Plaid Cymru say

:10:01.:10:04.

they are doing. They say it's the most ambitious,

:10:05.:10:07.

most exciting plan for government it's certainly one of the longest

:10:08.:10:11.

manifestos we've seen! the party would recruit an extra

:10:12.:10:17.

1000 doctors and 5000 nurses. Plaid says it would provide free

:10:18.:10:25.

social care for the elderly. It is promising a national childcare

:10:26.:10:30.

service, with free nursery places The manifesto pledges

:10:31.:10:33.

to help students, by paying off up to ?18,000 of debt,

:10:34.:10:39.

if they return to Wales to work. And it would invest

:10:40.:10:45.

in public transport throughout Wales, but opposes

:10:46.:10:48.

spending ?1 billion on Our vision for

:10:49.:10:52.

building up this country. There is a lot in your manifesto

:10:53.:10:58.

about building a nation. Is that a realistic prospect

:10:59.:11:02.

in a five-year Assembly term? What we can do within

:11:03.:11:06.

a five-year term is put But what you will see

:11:07.:11:10.

in her manifesto is In the distance, you can just about

:11:11.:11:15.

see the Assembly from here. Plaid hope they will be back

:11:16.:11:28.

there after the election on May the 5th with enough seats

:11:29.:11:31.

to form the next Welsh Government. To do that, they will have

:11:32.:11:34.

to overtake the Conservatives and Labour, and they hope

:11:35.:11:36.

voters will see something in this document

:11:37.:11:39.

they have published today that will give them the support

:11:40.:11:40.

that they need. Daniel Davies,

:11:41.:11:42.

BBC Wales Today, Cardiff. And Daniel is here now to look in

:11:43.:11:53.

more detail on one of those policies.

:11:54.:11:54.

Jamie, let's take a look at that pledge to recruit

:11:55.:11:56.

Plaid says it would need ten years,

:11:57.:12:01.

500 of them would be in place by the year 2021,

:12:02.:12:08.

The NHS is the big spending priority for the

:12:09.:12:16.

current Welsh Government, and it would be for Plaid, who promise

:12:17.:12:18.

to protect the health and social care budgets.

:12:19.:12:23.

But to a large extent, the Welsh budget

:12:24.:12:25.

So, protecting one department means reading another.

:12:26.:12:34.

Academics who assess Plaid's plans on behalf of the party say other

:12:35.:12:39.

spending would be severely restrained to meet these plans.

:12:40.:12:41.

Plaid thinks there are opportunities to save money within

:12:42.:12:43.

the health budget - ?300 million a year after five years.

:12:44.:12:47.

If the recent history of the NHS is anything to go by,

:12:48.:12:50.

Health boards have needed to be bailed out

:12:51.:12:53.

Plaid is now proposing to ask NHS managers

:12:54.:12:56.

Overall, the academics think Plaid's figures

:12:57.:13:00.

Bear in mind, these are academics commissioned

:13:01.:13:04.

Nevertheless, they point out that raising the kind of money

:13:05.:13:09.

Plaid talks about from efficiency savings

:13:10.:13:10.

Much more to come before seven o'clock.

:13:11.:13:20.

England's Joe Marler has faced a World Rugby disciplinary hearing

:13:21.:13:23.

for his comments to Wales' Samson Lee

:13:24.:13:24.

And a change in the weather from tomorrow, turning cooler and more

:13:25.:13:39.

unsettled during -- join me later for a full forecast.

:13:40.:13:42.

The challenges of a major tidal energy project off the North Wales

:13:43.:13:45.

coast have been discussed at an international conference.

:13:46.:13:47.

The scheme, which would involve creating a walled lagoon

:13:48.:13:50.

between Llandudno and Prestatyn, is currently being investigated.

:13:51.:13:54.

Harnessing the power of the tide is not a new idea.

:13:55.:14:03.

Plans for a ?1 billion lagoon in Swansea Bay are being considered,

:14:04.:14:06.

although the UK Government is reviewing such schemes

:14:07.:14:08.

to establish if they offer good value for money.

:14:09.:14:11.

Its findings will be published later this year.

:14:12.:14:13.

But it's the scientific side of tidal lagoons

:14:14.:14:15.

that is being discussed at this conference,

:14:16.:14:17.

This is a major infrastructure project, and it is a 200 year period

:14:18.:14:31.

project, so we have to mature the science is world-class. One of the

:14:32.:14:36.

key things is that we want to have this leading science, really

:14:37.:14:36.

influencing how we will go forward. It is claimed the scheme would offer

:14:37.:14:38.

flood protection to places along the coast and generate jobs,

:14:39.:14:41.

as well as sustainable electricity. But the international scientists

:14:42.:14:44.

here want to know how the sea bed will be affected

:14:45.:14:46.

by offshore development. Offshore, where we are increasingly

:14:47.:14:58.

building, building infrastructure because restrictions on energy,

:14:59.:15:02.

tides, it is always using the sea bed, so we need to know what the

:15:03.:15:05.

impact is on the sea bed in the long-term and in the short term. Not

:15:06.:15:09.

just around the structure but in the forefront.

:15:10.:15:10.

Around ?35 million of EU and private sector money is currently invested

:15:11.:15:13.

in new tidal and wave energy projects in Wales.

:15:14.:15:15.

The North Wales scheme could ultimately cost

:15:16.:15:17.

billions of pounds and before it gets the go-ahead,

:15:18.:15:21.

the benefits will need to be weighed against the price tag.

:15:22.:15:26.

The Assembly election for Kirsty Williams will be

:15:27.:15:28.

a far cry from the early years of her leadership of

:15:29.:15:31.

the Welsh Liberal Democrats, when she talked about winning

:15:32.:15:34.

31 seats and forming a government in Cardiff Bay.

:15:35.:15:37.

The party now has five AMs and is facing its toughest test

:15:38.:15:40.

since the start of devolution, after suffering major losses

:15:41.:15:42.

Our political editor, Nick Servini, caught up with Kirsty Williams

:15:43.:15:46.

at a hotel in Abergavenny in the latest of our interviews

:15:47.:15:49.

Kirsty Williams, welcome. You and I did a similar interview around a

:15:50.:16:12.

year ago, let's be honest, it has been a devastating year for the

:16:13.:16:15.

Liberal Democrats, particularly after the General Election result. I

:16:16.:16:20.

suppose the key question is, have you bottomed out yet in Wales? Well,

:16:21.:16:26.

it is true, the General Election result was devastating for the

:16:27.:16:30.

party. But since then, we are really seeing the party pick itself up,

:16:31.:16:35.

dust itself down, a huge increase in members since the General Election

:16:36.:16:39.

and similarly important electoral tests. For instance, we took a

:16:40.:16:44.

council seat from Labour in a by-election in Wrexham, we took a

:16:45.:16:49.

council seat from the Tories in Powys. A big difference between a

:16:50.:16:53.

council by-election and something like the Cinema collection. I think

:16:54.:16:59.

people will realise they need to listen to the Liberal Democrats

:17:00.:17:03.

again and recognising hard-working campaigners in their communities.

:17:04.:17:08.

And we will devastate we are a party that can deliver. Even with just

:17:09.:17:13.

five members for the last five years, we have been able to change

:17:14.:17:16.

the law to ensure we will have enough nurses on our hospital wards.

:17:17.:17:20.

But we want to go further. Over the last five years, we have been able

:17:21.:17:26.

to deliver additional money to our schools, targeted on her poorest

:17:27.:17:31.

pupils, which the Government's to an inspector says is making a real

:17:32.:17:35.

difference in closing the attainment gap between those poorer and richer

:17:36.:17:39.

children. I have listened to a number of your speeches at

:17:40.:17:42.

conferences, and you are very critical of the labour Government,

:17:43.:17:47.

and yet, you prop them up time and time again. How do you square that?

:17:48.:17:53.

If they are so bad, why do you keep supporting them? Well, as I said, we

:17:54.:18:00.

live in a democracy. They have 30 seats, I do not like that, but that

:18:01.:18:04.

is what the people of Wales have decided. Only 30? They do not have a

:18:05.:18:10.

majority? And I do not have a majority either, and do -- I do not

:18:11.:18:13.

have the votes to defeat the Government... But according to your

:18:14.:18:17.

rhetoric, they are so bad, anyone who listens to your speeches come

:18:18.:18:19.

and in your latest you basically accuse them of wrecking the

:18:20.:18:28.

aspirations that people have. On any kind of logic, you would not touch

:18:29.:18:32.

them with a barge pole! Let's be clear, after 17 years, if we are

:18:33.:18:37.

truly honest about what devolution has achieved for people, if you

:18:38.:18:41.

listen to people, they want the Welsh Government to work. They want

:18:42.:18:46.

the National Assembly to work. But they need it to work better for

:18:47.:18:51.

them. And I make no apology for getting up, week on week in that

:18:52.:18:54.

chamber and holding First Minister to account in his failure, for

:18:55.:18:59.

instance, to ensure that we have a Health Service that meets the needs

:19:00.:19:04.

of people. What about after the election? Would you do a deal with

:19:05.:19:10.

Labour again? Would you form a coalition, for example? I think what

:19:11.:19:13.

people want to know is, what am I going to get from the Welsh Liberal

:19:14.:19:17.

Democrat representative? And what they will get is an individual who

:19:18.:19:24.

will, with whatever influence they have, whether that is in government,

:19:25.:19:29.

but the government, will do certain things to build homes for people and

:19:30.:19:34.

affordable homes... And a lot of people have come to the conclusion

:19:35.:19:37.

that they will always prop up a Labour administration. We have not

:19:38.:19:43.

propped up any Labour Laika you have done, for the past five years!

:19:44.:19:49.

Budgets have got through because the Welsh Liberal Democrats have been

:19:50.:19:52.

able to use their influence to make progress for the people of Wales.

:19:53.:19:57.

You can stand on the sidelines, you can argue and shout and throw stones

:19:58.:20:02.

at the window, like the official opposition has done, and it achieves

:20:03.:20:09.

not a jot. But you have been there since 1999, how serious is the

:20:10.:20:13.

situation for the Liberal Democrats? Presumably, this is the toughest

:20:14.:20:17.

fight you have had. It is a very tough election for our party. And it

:20:18.:20:22.

is very clear that if people want the Welsh Liberal Democrats to

:20:23.:20:27.

continue to have that role in the National Assembly, we need to get

:20:28.:20:33.

out -- they need to get out and vote for us. We are the only party that

:20:34.:20:36.

is really listening to people, recognising that there is more to be

:20:37.:20:40.

done... But is anyone listening to you? I believe so. People need to

:20:41.:20:45.

know that they are putting together public services right in Wales,

:20:46.:20:52.

making sure there is a GP for them, making sure there is a nurse on a

:20:53.:20:55.

hospital ward. Kirsty Williams, thank you very much.

:20:56.:20:57.

And tomorrow Nick will be speaking to the leader

:20:58.:20:59.

We will be hearing plenty from politicians about what they say

:21:00.:21:03.

they will deliver if they form the next Welsh Government.

:21:04.:21:05.

Over the next few weeks, you've got the chance to

:21:06.:21:09.

tell them, as part of our My Manifesto 2016 project.

:21:10.:21:13.

Here is what people in Llanrwst and Conwy told us

:21:14.:21:15.

they would do if they were in charge of Wales.

:21:16.:21:21.

Put a lot more money into the National Health Service, that is the

:21:22.:21:29.

main concern, that it is just going down. Cheaper childcare would be

:21:30.:21:32.

really helpful for working families. I would like to see the old cottage

:21:33.:21:40.

hospitals used. Reduce the salaries of us and the members by 20%. --

:21:41.:21:44.

assembly members. To tell us what you would do

:21:45.:21:45.

if you were First Minister, you can also get in touch

:21:46.:21:48.

on e-mail - Facebook and Twitter -

:21:49.:21:50.

you can find us at @BBCWalesToday and follow the hashtag

#MyManifesto2016. We will be passing on your

:21:55.:21:55.

ideas to whoever is Rugby, and the England prop

Government from May the 6th. disciplinary hearing tonight

:21:58.:22:04.

for comments he made to Wales' Samson Lee about

:22:05.:22:07.

his traveller background during a game at

:22:08.:22:10.

Twickenham last month. Tomos Dafydd has been

:22:11.:22:13.

following the story. It has been going on for five hours,

:22:14.:22:25.

it started at 2pm this afternoon and know I just yet. Joe Marler is

:22:26.:22:30.

facing a three-man disciplinary panel. I am told an announcement is

:22:31.:22:34.

expected within the next few hours, sometime this evening. Joe Marler

:22:35.:22:39.

was Howard saying gypsy boy to Samson Lee. Samson Lee has been open

:22:40.:22:45.

about his traveller heritage. Many are expecting a ban, instead Joe

:22:46.:22:50.

Marler exit -- escaped punishment. This has left the Six Nations

:22:51.:22:53.

disciplinary process under almost as much scrutiny as Joe Marler himself.

:22:54.:22:57.

It has also raised questions over the way the sport deals with racist

:22:58.:23:01.

remarks. Simeone unhappy with the way the complaint was handled, so

:23:02.:23:07.

World Rugby stepped in and before today's hearing, Joe Marler

:23:08.:23:11.

apologised and said he will not accept any punishment, but tonight,

:23:12.:23:19.

almost a month after those commons, we are still no closer. -- said he

:23:20.:23:22.

will accept. But I get the feeling Benaz

:23:23.:23:24.

is about to say You're feeling is correct!

:23:25.:23:36.

Temperatures today reached a high of 14 Celsius for most of us, but

:23:37.:23:44.

turning unsettled tonight. Here is the satellite picture showing lovely

:23:45.:23:46.

sunshine earlier today. But the cloud has been filling throughout

:23:47.:23:50.

the afternoon. Just fair weather cloud, it has still been bright and

:23:51.:23:57.

a lot of dry weather. Tonight, it is clear at first, but the cloud

:23:58.:24:01.

thickens from the West. After midnight, we will see rain

:24:02.:24:09.

approaching parts of Anglesey, Ceredigion and Gwyneth. Temperature

:24:10.:24:12.

not dropping too much, six Celsius at its lowest. -- Ceredigion and win

:24:13.:24:18.

it. Tomorrow, starting with some blustery showers, notice the squeeze

:24:19.:24:24.

it has a bias. That rain clearing first thing, behind it some strong

:24:25.:24:28.

winds coming from the West. Showers continuing to pack in. Could be

:24:29.:24:33.

heavy at times and a mix of hail and thunder, but the wind will push them

:24:34.:24:37.

on quickly and there is some sunshine in between. Top

:24:38.:24:41.

temperatures from nine to 10 Celsius. Tomorrow night, more

:24:42.:24:44.

showers to come. The potential for some snow on higher ground. Drier

:24:45.:24:51.

interludes in between. Overnight, the temperatures getting down to

:24:52.:24:55.

around three Celsius. Thursday, we have another front bringing more

:24:56.:24:58.

rain. A much cooler fuel compared with today. First thing on Thursday,

:24:59.:25:05.

a wet start, the rain pushing South and East words, turning showery in

:25:06.:25:09.

the afternoon, still some brisk winds coming from a north-westerly

:25:10.:25:15.

direction. Temperatures 9-10 cells. The unsettled theme will continue

:25:16.:25:18.

into the weekend but the winds should ease little.

:25:19.:25:20.

I'll have an update for you here at eight o'clock

:25:21.:25:22.

That's Wales Today, thank you for watching.

:25:23.:25:26.

From all of us on the programme, good evening.
