One of China's biggest buyers of fine foods says Wales has much

work to do when it comes to selling our goods

One of China's biggest fine food buyers, visiting

the Royal Welsh show, has told this programme that Wales

needs to do much more to raise its profile and be more

successful in exporting goods to the world.

As Britain prepares to leave the European Union,

the pressure to find new, untapped markets for Wales,

A taste of Wales in the food hall at the Royal Welsh Show.

We have started exporting to China, Hong Kong, Japan, the US.

We have dabbled with the Middle East, as well.

From honey made in Powys exported all across the globe,

to cheeses and ice cream and even bottled water,

the show is not just a chance to sell to those

We still need to understand each other, not only the products,

but also the culture, the commercial things.
