few years. Unfortunately, we can't give them much, because we don't

:02:20.:02:23.

know what will happen either. -- much comfort. In a worst case, we

:02:24.:02:29.

would have to move the business back into Europe. We are considering what

:02:30.:02:39.

we will do. There are already signs of a slowdown in the economy as

:02:40.:02:41.

companies put on hold decisions over recruitment and investment and how

:02:42.:02:47.

they see what kind of shape Brexit takes in practice. That there is

:02:48.:02:49.

pressure on the Welsh and UK governments to make sure that Wales

:02:50.:02:52.

stays open for business in the meantime. Those working in

:02:53.:02:56.

Government on what will happen with the movement after Brexit. What

:03:00.:03:04.

we're finding now, after the dust has settled, it is pretty much back

:03:05.:03:07.

to normal. Most businesses are still recruiting. The biggest concern is

:03:08.:03:13.

investment into Wales. We have a number of organisations in Wales for

:03:14.:03:22.

a gateway into Europe. Also, a tracking European funding to

:03:23.:03:25.

themselves. Wales benefits substantially from that. We are

:03:26.:03:29.

concerned there is a knock-on effect to jobs and job security in Wales.

:03:30.:03:34.

Business leaders also won the Welsh Government is greater tax -- also

:03:35.:03:44.

won the Welsh comedy greater tax -- task force to create more

:03:45.:03:49.

opportunities. There are many specialisms we can bring to the

:03:50.:03:52.

table. A business task force would be a fundamental forward step for

:03:53.:03:58.

Wales. There was a meeting of business leaders and unions LF. This

:03:59.:04:03.

Council for economic renewal was set up during the financial crisis and

:04:04.:04:06.

meets three times a year. The Welsh Government set out a series of

:04:07.:04:09.

measures aimed at stimulating the economy. We have a growth and

:04:10.:04:13.

prosperity fund being announced. ?5 million to help small and

:04:14.:04:17.

medium-sized businesses. On top of that, we have to make sure that

:04:18.:04:21.

investors who are wondering what is going on now that Wales is still a

:04:22.:04:25.

place to invest and our people have the skills that they need for them

:04:26.:04:29.

to be successful in the future. The initial shock of the result for some

:04:30.:04:36.

businesses might have given way to a sense that there are also potential

:04:37.:04:39.

opportunities in Brexit. It seems that many are waiting to see what

:04:40.:04:41.

happens next before they make any big decisions.

:04:42.:04:43.

An uncertain time for businesses in Wales. What might that mean for our

:04:44.:04:45.

jobs and the pounds in our pockets? Let's talk to Sarah Dickins,

:04:46.:04:49.

our economics correspondent. Let's start on jobs.

:04:50.:04:56.

We are doing very well in terms of jobs so far. Unemployment in the

:04:57.:05:02.

UK's 4.9%, and 4.6% in Wales. We don't know whether that is just

:05:03.:05:07.

because we took longer to go into recession and we are taking longer

:05:08.:05:09.

to go through the growth BA, but everyone will be watching that very

:05:10.:05:15.

closely. Exporters are having a very good time because products are

:05:16.:05:17.

cheaper and they tend to do quite well. Whether they will take on more

:05:18.:05:21.

people in this period of whether they feel uncertain for how long the

:05:22.:05:27.

Pendlebury week, we don't yet know. -- the pound will be weak, we do not

:05:28.:05:32.

yet know. Meanwhile, others are concerned about whether they will

:05:33.:05:35.

have to lose jobs in the long-term because of post-Brexit agreements.

:05:36.:05:40.

The other great uncertainty is investment. Talking to people in the

:05:41.:05:46.

private sector, quite a few of them are considering investments. There

:05:47.:05:50.

is a poison decision-making. The problem with economics is that if

:05:51.:05:53.

decision-making is poised, that can weaken the economy. -- paused.

:05:54.:06:08.

Interestingly, it was only a few days ago that ?27 million of

:06:09.:06:11.

European funding was put into the unit being economy to help young

:06:12.:06:21.

people get into the workplace. I expect we will see a few more

:06:22.:06:25.

million in the next few days to encourage managerial skills in the

:06:26.:06:27.

private sector in Wales. That is European money. They are basically

:06:28.:06:35.

carrying on and saying, until we carry -- find we don't have this

:06:36.:06:39.

money, we will carry on. If the uncertainty is too long, there is

:06:40.:06:45.

the risk of slowing down the hall economy -- the whole economy.

:06:46.:06:50.

Labour might have monopolised political infighting

:06:51.:06:51.

over the past few weeks, but in Cardiff Bay, Ukip are giving

:06:52.:06:54.

Its leader in the Assembly, Neil Hamilton, has demanded

:06:55.:06:57.

that the party's leader in Wales, Nathan Gill, sack an assistant

:06:58.:07:00.

Our political editor Nick Servini is at the Senedd.

:07:01.:07:04.

We have got used to Ukip Rouse. This is a textbook examples. AMs you live

:07:05.:07:25.

in England could have some costs reimbursed in cadre. That only

:07:26.:07:33.

applies to Neil Hamilton, who lives in Hampshire. One man is very happy

:07:34.:07:37.

with this is Liam Powell. The problem is, he is a member of Ukip

:07:38.:07:41.

and works for Nathan Gill. He tweeted on this proposal... Just

:07:42.:07:47.

e-mailed my local AMs, asking them to vote to protect taxpayers money.

:07:48.:07:51.

Clearly very happy. That prompted a furious response from Neil Hamilton.

:07:52.:07:59.

-- clearly very unhappy. Neil Hamilton said he was outraged that

:08:00.:08:04.

there was a suggestion that any beer and batsman to him would be a waste

:08:05.:08:08.

of taxpayers' money. Liam Powell said if you are elected to serve the

:08:09.:08:14.

people of Wales, you should live there. Then there were strong was

:08:15.:08:20.

that set this is an example of billing behaviour. Ukip seem beset

:08:21.:08:22.

by squabbles at the moment. What's at the heart

:08:23.:08:26.

of their problems in the Senedd? They are. We should say that the

:08:27.:08:35.

context here is internal divisions amongst all the major parties. The

:08:36.:08:41.

Conservatives in the referendum campaign, Labour still at war.

:08:42.:08:47.

Certainly, from Ukip's perspective, yesterday, Nathan Gill had to defend

:08:48.:08:49.

himself against criticism he is double jobbing as an Assembly Member

:08:50.:08:53.

and member of the European Parliament. Topped openly about a

:08:54.:08:58.

proxy war between those on the National Executive Committee of the

:08:59.:09:02.

party, Neil Hamilton, and those loyal to the outgoing leader, Nigel

:09:03.:09:05.

Farage, who in this case is Nathan Gill. Those divisions have not gone

:09:06.:09:10.

away and it certainly does not look as if it will update any time soon.

days were lost with more than half of Wales' 22 councils showing

was a primary school teacher but left the profession last

December after 15 years. She's been telling us

:10:59.:11:03.

about her experiences. At first, I really enjoyed it. It

:11:04.:11:16.

was more about the children and there was less expectation on

:11:17.:11:18.

results and targets. Unfortunately, I wouldn't even consider at this

:11:19.:11:21.

moment in time returning to teaching. Work- life balance no

:11:22.:11:27.

longer existed. I felt that I was working a ten hour day in school and

:11:28.:11:31.

then would come home, see to the children and then work another 3-4

:11:32.:11:37.

hours in the evening. Obviously, I did the best I could for the

:11:38.:11:43.

children in my care. But, just in general, the quality of my life at

:11:44.:11:45.

home and for my family was diminished because of it. It made

:11:46.:11:53.

you feel tired, ill, so that that is not therefore for the best of the

:11:54.:11:58.

children in your care. I always maintained a level head in school

:11:59.:12:08.

but there is only so much stress you can take. Obviously, if you are

:12:09.:12:10.

unhappy in your job, you're not giving the best, so those kind of

:12:11.:12:13.

stresses will have an impact on children.

:12:14.:12:13.

David Evans is from the National Union of Teachers in Wales.

:12:14.:12:16.

Just how big a problem is stress in teaching?

:12:17.:12:20.

It is a huge problem. It is one that we have not got to grips with for

:12:21.:12:26.

too many years. We started collating this information about four years

:12:27.:12:30.

ago, requesting the information from local authorities as to how many

:12:31.:12:33.

days were lost. The figures are quite staggering. Nearly 52,000 days

:12:34.:12:39.

in the last year. Given that there is 195 school days a year, that

:12:40.:12:44.

equates to about 250 years. It is a big problem. The schools have just

:12:45.:12:49.

broken up. Many people watching will say, teachers have six weeks off,

:12:50.:12:53.

along with half terms, Christmas and Easter as well.

:12:54.:12:55.

Many other people working in other businesses would love those breaks.

:12:56.:13:04.

It is not necessarily six weeks off. I had of a teacher who finished last

:13:05.:13:08.

Wednesday and landing on Sunday, ready for the new term. Teachers do

:13:09.:13:13.

that. They have to make sure that things are ready for the start of

:13:14.:13:17.

the new term. If you were an Ambulance Trust, social worker or

:13:18.:13:21.

not, are working on the steelworks, you also might feel that you are in

:13:22.:13:24.

a rather stressful occupation. You don't give the same kind of levels

:13:25.:13:29.

of absence in those professions. Every job has its own stresses.

:13:30.:13:33.

Clearly, though, there is an issue with regard to teacher strikes and a

:13:34.:13:37.

level of absences that we are seeing. It is quite significant. The

:13:38.:13:42.

pressure that has been placed upon them by Her Majesty's inspected it

:13:43.:13:50.

and the authorities and local councils to do well. The Welsh

:13:51.:13:55.

Government says that there are range of statutory provisions in place to

:13:56.:13:58.

ensure a suitable work - life balance for teachers.

:13:59.:14:00.

They are looking at ways this can be addressed. We are meeting to discuss

:14:01.:14:11.

this all fully later this week. But there are other initiatives. We have

:14:12.:14:16.

been talking about a class size initiative. But there are other ways

:14:17.:14:20.

of dealing with it as well. We need to look at that and we need to make

:14:21.:14:23.

sure we support teachers in our schools. Thank you very much.

:14:24.:14:26.

Scientists at the Sea Watch Foundation want your help to count

:14:27.:14:30.

how many dolphins and whales are living around the Welsh coast

:14:31.:14:37.

And if you're heading to the coast this week,

:14:38.:14:39.

make sure you pack some wet weather gear.

:14:40.:14:40.

But there will be a few drier, brighter spells as well.

:14:41.:14:47.

A BBC Wales investigation has discovered a bogus nurse who claims

:14:48.:14:50.

to have prescribed and administered Botox for 10,000 Welsh patients.

:14:51.:14:56.

Undercover reporting by the X-Ray programme found that Vivienne Baker

:14:57.:15:02.

treated patients in her kitchen in Porthcawl while claiming to be

:15:03.:15:04.

a registered midwife, trained to prescribe

:15:05.:15:05.

When he decided he wanted a course of Botox, this

:15:06.:15:18.

awaard-winning mobile hairdresser, from Caerphilly, stumbled

:15:19.:15:19.

There were pictures, and certificates.

:15:20.:15:27.

You wouldn't think about looking into it.

:15:28.:15:29.

She was basically a qualified nurse that trained in London and I just

:15:30.:15:35.

Richard paid for two visits, costing a total of around ?600.

:15:36.:15:41.

He had treatment on his forehead and fillers in his lips.

:15:42.:15:44.

But he says the wrinkles came back and he saw no effect

:15:45.:15:47.

She said she would redo the procedure at a cost of ?70,

:15:48.:15:52.

I sat in her kitchen with children running around.

:15:53.:16:02.

There was no anaesthetic on my mouth whatsoever, so I could

:16:03.:16:06.

The day after, that's when I had a mouthful of blisters.

:16:07.:16:15.

BBC Wales' X-Ray programme have heard from another unhappy customer

:16:16.:16:22.

who was treated at Vivienne Baker's home in Porthcawl, who said that

:16:23.:16:25.

after treatment, her face was droopy and she could not smile for months.

:16:26.:16:28.

When a programme researcher visited the house posing as a customer,

:16:29.:16:37.

she was told she had been extremely busy.

:16:38.:16:48.

She also claims to be a midwife, but her name isn't on the nursing

:16:49.:16:51.

Prescribing Botox without registering is illegal

:16:52.:16:59.

and her Harley Street accreditation certificate is false.

:17:00.:17:01.

She would need an additional special qualification to be

:17:02.:17:06.

The only people who can prescribe are doctors, dentists,

:17:07.:17:11.

nurses with special qualifications and prescribing pharmacists.

:17:12.:17:13.

Save Face is an organisation which inspects legitimate

:17:14.:17:19.

They say that Vivienne Baker's Botox sessions are also alarmingly cheap.

:17:20.:17:26.

They say that it raises serious alarm bells as to what product

:17:27.:17:29.

she is using, where she sources it from and how safe

:17:30.:17:31.

None of these procedures are without risk.

:17:32.:17:38.

Even in the most skilled and experienced hands,

:17:39.:17:40.

If someone had an allergy reaction, they could go into

:17:41.:17:47.

If the practitioner was unable and ill-equipped to deal

:17:48.:17:53.

with that, the person could lose their life.

:17:54.:17:58.

Vivienne Baker has refused to comment.

:17:59.:18:00.

But, if you are thinking of Botox, the warning from experts is not

:18:01.:18:03.

More on that story on X-Ray tonight at 7.30 here on BBC One Wales.

:18:04.:18:07.

Drivers flouting the speed limit along a busy stretch of the M4

was found near a railway line around Ruabon.

:18:35.:18:36.

The line between Shrewsbury and Chester was closed for around

:18:37.:18:38.

It turned out to be a training bomb, with no explosives inside.

:18:39.:18:50.

Football, and Wales midfielder Joe Allen is on the verge of joining

:18:51.:18:53.

Stoke City from Liverpool, after having a medical

Swansea City were also in the hunt for Allen and some fans

about the takeover and what the future might hold. Liverpool

to the water hoping to catch a glimpse of them

:21:32.:21:33.

leaping and somersaulting. But now, scientists

:21:34.:21:36.

at the Sea Watch Foundation want to find out how many dolphins

:21:37.:21:38.

and whales are living elsewhere around the Welsh coast,

:21:39.:21:41.

and they need our help. Matthew Richards is in

:21:42.:21:43.

Barmouth for us tonight. Thank you very much. This area is a

:21:44.:21:53.

well-known dolphin Hot Spot, increasing the likelihood of a close

:21:54.:21:59.

encounter. The data from other areas is not so good. This week, the Sea

:22:00.:22:03.

:22:04.:22:07.

appearances anywhere along the course. -- eyes peeled.

:22:08.:22:13.

Cathy James is the sightings officer for the Sea Watch Foundation.

:22:14.:22:16.

But until Sunday, at least, she will have a few more

:22:17.:22:19.

There is like 250 different bottlenose dolphins that we have

:22:20.:22:22.

29 species of porpoise, whale and dolphin have been

:22:23.:22:26.

seen around UK waters, with our coastline home to several.

:22:27.:22:28.

But there could be some surprises beneath the surface,

:22:29.:22:30.

and that is what the watch week is all about.

:22:31.:22:35.

There is quite a lot of porpoise activity around the Welsh coast.

:22:36.:22:41.

And there's some particular hotspots for certain species

:22:42.:22:43.

So maybe people who are on boats in deeper waters will see them

:22:44.:22:49.

but people do see them from the land as well,

:22:50.:22:51.

Of course, the experts can't keep an eye on the waves all the time,

:22:52.:22:58.

but with an army of spotters around the country, we can build

:22:59.:23:01.

up a clearer picture of just how many porpoises,

:23:02.:23:04.

dolphins and whales are around Wales.

:23:05.:23:05.

This family from Barmouth have come for a look.

:23:06.:23:07.

It turned out to be a false alarm, but even failing to spot something

:23:08.:23:12.

significant can help paint a picture of when and where populations

:23:13.:23:14.

Daniella and Katie are confident that they will be able

:23:15.:23:18.

We have been asked to monitor what is going on.

:23:19.:23:21.

We have seen some dolphins sometimes and a lot of customers have said

:23:22.:23:38.

to our dad that they have seen whole pods and stuff.

:23:39.:23:41.

It is very easy to overlook what is going on in the oceans.

:23:42.:23:44.

We see what is happening on land all the time,

:23:45.:23:47.

but in the seas and oceans, it is all unseen.

:23:48.:23:49.

Unless we make an effort to look for it.

:23:50.:23:51.

We would rather not have to clean it!

:23:52.:23:57.

But we try and protect what we can because it is important

:23:58.:24:00.

You do not need to be an expert to take part

:24:01.:24:09.

You just need to take a closer look at the Seaview.

:24:10.:24:13.

You have until Sunday if you want to be one of the spotters. It is at PC

:24:14.:24:22.

watch foundation website. It seems that harbour poor policies and

:24:23.:24:24.

bottlenose dolphins are the two types of most pop your species. --

:24:25.:24:37.

popular species. They can be found in areas likely be here. I have been

:24:38.:24:40.

in Barmouth all day and I have seen nothing in the water apart from some

:24:41.:24:43.

windsurfers, possibly. That is all from Dolphin watch. What about

:24:44.:24:45.

whether what? Let's get the forecast.

:24:46.:24:46.

It looks quite nice in Barmouth this evening. This time last week, we

:24:47.:24:52.

were gearing up for a mini heatwave. It is a different story this week.

:24:53.:24:57.

At Atlanta Quins keep things cool and much more changeable. That means

:24:58.:25:03.

showers at times. There are a few dry and brighter

:25:04.:25:07.

spells as well. Sunshine in places today. This picture was taken

:25:08.:25:13.

earlier today. This evening, most places dry with plenty of cloud and

:25:14.:25:16.

sunshine. Overnight cloud increases to bring a few spots of rain.

:25:17.:25:23.

Temperatures 12-15dC. Here is a picture at 8am tomorrow morning. A

:25:24.:25:35.

lot of boy sees dry at this stage, bright in places, but generally a

:25:36.:25:38.

lot of ). There will be some light showers and one or two spots of

:25:39.:25:40.

light rain. The temperature around 15 or 16 Celsius with a like these.

:25:41.:25:43.

During the day, cloud increases and that will bring patchy rain with it.

:25:44.:25:48.

Some showers in the afternoon, dry spell is possible later but not a

:25:49.:25:53.

big improvement. The odd glimpse of the sun if you're lucky.

:25:54.:25:56.

Temperatures around average of 17-20dC with a Western

:25:57.:26:00.

south-westerly breeze. Tomorrow, they were obese dry weather in the

:26:01.:26:04.

morning and some rain in the afternoon. High of 17 in Bala. One

:26:05.:26:15.

to showers in the afternoon, temperatures rising 19-20. Tomorrow

:26:16.:26:21.

evening, some showers and then later, widespread and heavy rain

:26:22.:26:24.

will move in from the west. That means a wet start on Wednesday.

:26:25.:26:28.

Misty is well with low clouds and feeling muggy. June day, it should

:26:29.:26:33.

turn drier with sunshine in the afternoon and one or two light

:26:34.:26:37.

showers. Thursday's chart shows low pressure over Ireland and that means

:26:38.:26:41.

more unsettled weather. More rain and showers to come. Easy as well,

:26:42.:26:46.

especially on the coast. One Friday, it should brighten up with some

:26:47.:26:50.

sunshine and it turns fresh again. That is the latest forecast. Back to

:26:51.:26:54.

Jamie. It is coming up to seven p.m..

Tonight's headlines... Southern Germany is reeling from as far

Business leaders in Wales are calling on the First Minister to set

:27:21.:27:25.

up a group of experts to deal with the economic implications of the UK

:27:26.:27:28.

leaving the European Union. It comes as Carwyn Jones announced a ?5

:27:29.:27:32.

million jobs and growth fund as a response to the Brexit vote.

:27:33.:27:33.

I'll have an update for you here at eight o'clock and again
