Robert Snodgrass scored the winning goal for the home team after 67

minutes. Welsh cyclist, Owain Doull,

has secured Wales' first gold medal at the Olympics, as part of Team GB

in the team pursuit. Swimmer, Jazz Carlin,

also won a medal overnight. But disappointment

for Seren Bundy Davies, who's been knocked out

of the 400m heats. A couple of medals, including a

first gold on the best day yet for Welsh athlete in Rio. It all started

on the track, 23-year-old Owain Doull from Cardiff and the Great

Britain Quartet, including Sir Bradely Wiggins, whizzing to victory

in world record time. Feeling a bit worse for wear, I'll be honest. It's

the only thing to do it after four years of hard graft. Just to see

that gold medal lying there in the apartment. Just surreal. It has not

sunk in. Supporting him was a proud family, caught on camera. The

happiest sister in the world. It came across as lots of sobbing. I am

definitely the crybaby of the family. Super proud of my brother.

Soon followed. Jazz Carlin is the first Welsh athlete to win two

medals at a single Olympics since equestrian champion Richard Meade in

1972. I am one of those people who will do anything to improve. To come

away with two silver medals, after a tough all stringy, it is incredible.

Mum and dad were here to cheer every stroke. I am absolutely speechless.

I don't know what to say. That was beyond my wildest dreams. With a

week of the game is gone, Welsh athletes are up to five medals and

Elinor Barker will make it six this evening at the velodrome. There

could be a seventh for Becky James. Guarantees on EU funding from the UK

Government don't go far enough - The Chancellor says many

projects agreed before the autumn will still be fully

funded after Brexit. But there are concerns

this only covers half Will Wales lose out on the billions

it gets from the European Union? Money which has funded projects

across the country. It is a key question following the UK's vote for

Brexit. Philip Hammond said EU funded projects agreed before the

Autumn Statement this year will be replaced after we leave by the

Treasury. Funding will continue until 2020. The Welsh Government

says the county only covers about half of around ?2 billion due to

Wales from Europe. It allows some certainty for projects that have

been approved already. This means about half of all the European money

we know we would have for Wales is secure. It means there is a lot of

discussion still to: but the Chancellor to make sure we get that

other half secure as well. One minute that Brexit says the UK

Government will deliver for Wales. We have been working tirelessly to

make sure the money is available for Wales. The Chancellor has made the

announcement today which is a clear commitment to fund projects in

higher education and agriculture and structural funds. The First Minister

must stop whingeing about the result of June 23 and start actually

speaking up for Wales. With billions of pounds for Wales at stake, the

debate over the replacement of EU funds is likely to be at the centre

of political debate in the run-up to Brexit and beyond.

A body which washed ashore near Barmouth has been identified

as 14-year-old Yahye Omar Mohamed, from Birmingham, who disappeared

Police say his friend, Waseem Al-Muflehi, is still missing.

The annual Pride Cymru parade, which celebrates the LGBT community,
