A search off the Ceredigion coast for a missing 90-year-old man,

Arthur Roy Taylor was last seen at around 9:30am

yesterday morning after going out to sea on his boat.

The joint operation between the police, coastguard

Tonight at low tide that search continues.

90-year-old Arthur Roy Taylor, also known as Archie,

left his accommodation on Saturday morning to take his boat out to sea.

The vessel was later found but he is still unaccounted for.

Members of the boat club identified his boat.

He is a man who is well liked in the area.

He is a band leader, a vivacious fellow and very active for his age.

His boat was found on Coronation Drive,

with the sails up and the rudder down but no sign of Archie.

One of the club members identified the boat as his and notified

the police, the coastguard and then the full-scale search

Mr Taylor is thought to be wearing a navy jumper and dark

Dyfed Powys police are appealing for anyone with photos and video
