Hello, I am going to throw some numbers at you first of all. 22

Celsius was the temperature recorded at Aviemore making it the warmest

day of the year so far. At the other end of the country, this cloud has

produced a lot of heavy and thundery downpours. A lot of rain falling in

one hour at Hurn airport. There are some showers around the Bristol

Channel. There will be so increasing amounts of mist, fog and low cloud.

Tomorrow starts grade, Misty and murky in most places. We will see

the Sun breaking through in Cumbria and the North. You might get the odd

shower in western Northern Ireland in the afternoon but with more

sunshine across the country tomorrow, it should be warmer than

today. Contrasts across Scotland with Northern areas cooler because

there will be more cloud, whereas central and southern Scotland will

feel much warmer with more sunshine. Typical temperatures in the

afternoon for England and Wales mid to high teens. As you head further

south we have got the main concentration of showers will stop.

Some of the showers could be heavy, possibly with some thunder there as

well. Probably a bit of sunshine to come on Wednesday. It looks rather

complicated around the middle of the week. Increasing amounts of cloud

and showers on Wednesday. A lot of spells of rain on Thursday with the

wetter weather across the southern half of the UK. We have this complex

area of low pressure sitting in southern areas on Thursday. That

moves down to the near continent by the time you get to Friday, allowing

high pressure to build from the North by the end of the week, so

change in our air completely. Significant changes on the way. It

will be turning dry with high-pressure moving in with

hopefully more sunshine as well It will feel cold.
