Good evening. Howling gales in the

north of the UK today n Shetland, 93

like that across northern parts of

the UK so tough in the north. Other

parts of the country are in for some

snow now over the next few days.

Certainly tonight and into tomorrow,

this is Storm Caroline barrelling

out into the Norwegian sea and

behind it on the back side of the

storm we have winds out of the

north. This is currently the radar

showing the snow showers. You can

see in the north of Scotland,

Northern Ireland and also getting

into the north-west of England and

one or two in northern wae.s the

problem will be the snow and also

the ice. -- northern Wales. That's

through the course of the night and

into tomorrow. Some of us may have

trouble. Stay tuned to the weather

forecast. We could see significant

snow across the hills and Scotland,

Northern Ireland. Generally many

western areas and across the hills

it could be very, very trickin deed,

even blizzards blowing with strong

winds. It'll still be a very windy

day on Friday across the north of

the country. Let's start in the

north, where the snow showers are.

Remember these are snow showers, so

hit and miss. One snow shower might

be 20 miles across, carried by the

wind. So for a short time it could

be heavy, then sunshine comes out.
