spring this weekend and think

bitter easterly wind. Those will be

blizzard like. No doubt about that.

It will feel bitingly cold wherever

you are spending the weekend. From

about late afternoon, The Met Office

already have these three amber

warnings for snow and ice that will

run through the rest of Saturday, on

into the first part of Sunday,

because those snow showers, for

some, will keep on coming. As I say,

these will be heavy and we think,

and there are still some doubt about

the detail, they might gang up

across the western parts as we start

the new day on Sunday. All the

while, there is that really biting

easterly wind. Some of the gusts are

around 55 or 65 mph on exposed

coasts. Bear that in mind. It will

cut right through you. Sunday, I put

the cloud back on. I want to show

you that as the snow moves away it

will be a cloudy and cold day. A

little brightness creeping onto the

eastern shores later on in the day.
