This is East Midlands Today with Anne Davies and me, Dominic Heale.

:00:04.:00:07.

Our top story tonight: three Muslim men are convicted of stirring up

:00:07.:00:16.

hatred against the gay community. They distributed leaflets saying

:00:16.:00:21.

his lamb called for the death penalty for homosexuals. I feel

:00:21.:00:25.

quite angry that it was felt appropriate to distribute stuff

:00:25.:00:29.

that was primarily intended to stir up hatred. I cannot see how it was

:00:29.:00:34.

intended to do anything else. Or City-mad: eight years after she

:00:34.:00:39.

drowned on holiday in Greece, there is an inquest verdict.

:00:39.:00:44.

Plus, she has done it. This student becomes the youngest Briton to ski

:00:45.:00:50.

to the South Pole. I am absolutely exhausted but ecstatic at the same

:00:50.:00:55.

time! And in sport: I am where so many

:00:55.:00:59.

other athletes want to be this summer, the Olympic Park in east

:00:59.:01:09.

Good evening. Welcome to Friday's programme. First tonight, a

:01:09.:01:12.

landmark case in Derby as three Muslim men are found guilty of

:01:12.:01:18.

inciting hatred against homosexuals. They distributed leaflets called,

:01:18.:01:24.

Death Penalty, which were hostile and threatening. Tonight the police

:01:24.:01:27.

said the those views were not representative of the wider Muslim

:01:27.:01:37.
:01:37.:01:37.

community. Leaving Derby Crown Court, one of

:01:37.:01:39.

the three Muslim men found guilty of inciting hatred against

:01:39.:01:46.

homosexuals. Any comment? Another of them than the, in the middle

:01:46.:01:50.

wearing headgear, to try to have made the camera. These are the

:01:50.:01:53.

three men were found guilty in the first case of its kind in the

:01:53.:02:03.

country. The leaflet this was handed out said -- was called death

:02:03.:02:08.

penalty? It showed a mannequin hamming from a nurse, containing

:02:08.:02:11.

texts that said Campsall punishment was the only way to raise what it

:02:11.:02:16.

called an immoral crime. I was really upset at the time and I've

:02:16.:02:23.

become more angry about it. That it was felt it was right to deliver

:02:23.:02:31.

that and put it through people's letterboxes, I feel angry. It was

:02:31.:02:35.

primarily intended to stir up hatred. I cannot see how it was

:02:35.:02:40.

intended to do anything else. leaflet was handed out outside this

:02:40.:02:47.

mosque in Derby in 20th July 10. -- 20th July 10. One of the guilty men

:02:47.:02:52.

said in court that he was doing his duty as a Muslim to point out what

:02:52.:02:56.

he thought was a CERN. We have had a long-standing, strong

:02:56.:03:01.

relationships with for community and the comments that were made

:03:01.:03:04.

within these leaflets is not something that is representative of

:03:04.:03:07.

the wider community. It is certainly not representative of the

:03:07.:03:17.
:03:17.:03:20.

wider Muslim community. Two other men were cleared by the jury.

:03:20.:03:22.

Derbyshire Friend is an organisation offering support to

:03:22.:03:28.

the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Their chief

:03:28.:03:36.

executive is Andy Cave who spoke to me earlier. Seven out of town

:03:36.:03:40.

lesbian, gay, Trans gender people have suffered hate crime in the

:03:40.:03:43.

last three years. This is very under-reported. The more media

:03:43.:03:47.

attention and the more awareness there is about hate crime, the

:03:47.:03:51.

better. We need to encourage people to report these crime. Have what

:03:51.:03:55.

was the reaction of people who came to you who had received these

:03:55.:03:58.

leaflets? They were horrified and scared. These leaflets went through

:03:58.:04:02.

their doors, into their personal space where they should feel safe

:04:02.:04:11.

and secure. They felt these leaflets had been pointed towards

:04:11.:04:15.

them because of their orientation. There are terrified about what

:04:15.:04:20.

would happen. I guess it would be difficult for people to come

:04:20.:04:25.

forward and say this is happening. Yeah, the witnesses that have gone

:04:25.:04:29.

to court have been incredibly brave and have been well supported to go

:04:29.:04:34.

through that court process. If one thing comes from this it is the

:04:34.:04:44.
:04:44.:04:46.

encouragement to get more people Detectives investigating the murder

:04:46.:04:49.

of a takeaway shop owner in Leicester have arrested a third man

:04:49.:04:54.

in connection with the incident. The body of 50-year-old Dogan Dogan

:04:54.:04:57.

was found in his flat above Aladdin Pizza in Linton Street almost two

:04:57.:05:02.

weeks ago. Two men had been arrested yesterday. One, a 46-year-

:05:02.:05:06.

old, has since been released. Two men, aged 27 and 31, remain in

:05:06.:05:13.

police custody. A former hospital worker in

:05:13.:05:15.

Nottinghamshire has denied sexually assaulting three elderly women in

:05:15.:05:18.

his care. The women were being treated at Bassetlaw Hospital.

:05:18.:05:21.

Today 23-year-old Matthew Shah from Retford pleaded not guilty to the

:05:21.:05:26.

charges at Nottingham Crown Court. He was remanded on bail and is due

:05:26.:05:33.

to stand trial in April. Still to come on the programme:

:05:33.:05:37.

Olympic Dreams. News of a special TV documentary

:05:37.:05:45.

celebrating our medal hopefuls. The as reversing the decline in the

:05:45.:05:48.

High Street. Is it time to convert empty shops like this into new

:05:48.:05:58.
:05:58.:05:58.

Improved safety guidelines to sailing instructors and inspectors

:05:58.:06:01.

is expected, following an inquest into the death of an 11-year-old

:06:01.:06:08.

girl from Nottinghamshire. Laura Morgan from Woodborough died

:06:08.:06:12.

in a sailing accident while on holiday in Greece eight years ago.

:06:12.:06:22.
:06:22.:06:22.

But it's still unclear why. A fateful trip which started full

:06:22.:06:27.

of promise. These were some of the last pictures of Laura Morgan

:06:27.:06:31.

saving with two friends. The cut the water, the wind was picking up.

:06:31.:06:36.

But minutes later, the boat capsized. The 11 year-old was

:06:36.:06:40.

trapped in her harness underneath. The inquest had heard how frantic

:06:40.:06:47.

attempts were made to save Laura under water but they failed. Today,

:06:47.:06:51.

David Ritchie, an instructor and inspector for the Royal Yachting

:06:51.:06:56.

Association, said in general some - - their safety record was excellent

:06:56.:06:59.

but he raised concerns about the level of training the assistant had

:06:59.:07:03.

who spoke to Laura and her friends before they set sail. I don't

:07:03.:07:07.

believe, he said, that the briefing Laura received properly prepared

:07:07.:07:15.

her to use the trapeze harness. The wrong person was in the wrong job,

:07:15.:07:21.

asked the coroner? Yes. The changes have been introduced since

:07:21.:07:25.

including advising to rescuers to put the boat upright first in a

:07:25.:07:29.

similar situation. Had that happened then, Laura may have been

:07:29.:07:33.

saved, but that wasn't the adviser at the time. Giving a narrative

:07:33.:07:37.

verdict, the coroner explained that eight years on, it was still

:07:37.:07:41.

unclear why Laura could not release herself from the hardest but she

:07:41.:07:44.

said no suitable qualified professional had given her advice

:07:44.:07:49.

on the harness before she set sail on the water. What is clear now it

:07:49.:07:56.

is likely that guidance will be updated again so instructors -- two

:07:56.:08:00.

instructors and inspectors worldwide. After years of waiting

:08:00.:08:04.

and legal cases increase, the outcome was clearly emotional.

:08:04.:08:08.

After eight-and-a-half years of fighting for justice for Laura, I

:08:08.:08:11.

have reached the journey's end. I feel we have explored everything

:08:11.:08:17.

now a much greater detail, and -- in an English court. The answer is

:08:17.:08:23.

yes, we probably have finally got justice for Laura.

:08:23.:08:26.

Police forces across our region are combining their specialist units to

:08:26.:08:29.

save almost 30 million over four years. Leicestershire,

:08:29.:08:31.

Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire

:08:31.:08:36.

are all working more closely. Areas where specialist officers will

:08:36.:08:38.

combine skills include serious organised crime and counter

:08:38.:08:45.

terrorism. More than 13,000 has been

:08:45.:08:49.

collected in fines from cyclists in one city. Nottingham city council

:08:49.:08:52.

has fined 450 bike riders for dangerous cycling over the past

:08:52.:08:57.

year. The council says the 30 fine is usually issued to riders

:08:57.:09:07.
:09:07.:09:12.

endangering pedestrians. TV's Queen of Shops, Mary Portas,

:09:12.:09:15.

came up with a few ideas to save the struggling high street but now

:09:15.:09:18.

one of our MPs has a plan of his own.

:09:18.:09:21.

Mark Spencer says his answer is to convert empty shops into homes.

:09:21.:09:27.

Here's our Political Editor. These boarded-up shops are a tell-

:09:27.:09:31.

tale sign of a high street in decline. It could be a long while

:09:31.:09:35.

yet until new retailers moving. So, should these buildings have another

:09:35.:09:43.

use? Empty, to let. They are window-shopping and there is not so

:09:43.:09:49.

much to catch the eye. How do we regenerated? We need to encourage

:09:49.:09:54.

people. Peacocks is the next high street name that could disappear.

:09:54.:09:58.

This Nottinghamshire town has its fair share of empty shops. We need

:09:58.:10:02.

to shrink the High Street physically. Someone needs an

:10:02.:10:05.

overarching view and conferred some of those shots into residential

:10:05.:10:10.

properties. This area of Mansfield Road north of Nottingham city

:10:10.:10:13.

centre helps to illustrate what the MP is trying to achieve. They used

:10:13.:10:20.

to be -- they used to be at Real Ale Shop here and and electricians,

:10:20.:10:24.

but when they were dead, shot became derelict. Now they have been

:10:24.:10:28.

transformed into residential use. Is that in answer for smaller towns

:10:28.:10:34.

like Uncle? It will put more pressure on parking. There is

:10:34.:10:41.

already a lot of trouble at weekends. The raw lot of these

:10:41.:10:47.

shops which empty. It is a good idea for people that a homeless and

:10:47.:10:53.

who are looking for somewhere to live. It would be good. It is

:10:53.:10:58.

difficult to come third shops into residential properties so made to

:10:58.:11:01.

look at that. Their needs to be a plan. But the moment, there doesn't

:11:01.:11:07.

seem to be a plan. The government wants to revive our high streets,

:11:07.:11:14.

transforming shops into homes may Now, here's a reminder that our new

:11:14.:11:17.

Sunday Politics programme is back this weekend. And Marie Ashby has

:11:17.:11:25.

news of a split in Conservative ranks over the issue of academies.

:11:25.:11:28.

The leader of Leicestershire County Council is accusing the Government

:11:28.:11:31.

of taxing the authorities to fund its Academies programme and he is

:11:31.:11:40.

demanding action from the education secretary, Michael Gove. Are the

:11:40.:11:43.

event mac's changes to benefits justified?

:11:43.:11:46.

That's the Sunday Politics from 12 noon with Marie and Andrew Neil,

:11:46.:11:53.

here on BBC One. What are we talking about now?

:11:53.:11:56.

Business is booming for a well- known East Midlands pie maker. So

:11:56.:11:59.

much so, that they've spent 7 million extending their factory.

:11:59.:12:01.

The development at the Leicestershire site has already

:12:01.:12:04.

created some jobs, and it's hoped it'll create even more in the

:12:04.:12:11.

future. James Roberson reports. Pies. Thousands of them, pouring

:12:11.:12:19.

off the production lines at Pukka Pies at Syston in Leicestershire.

:12:19.:12:22.

And there to see them today, the local MP Stephen Dorrell. It was

:12:22.:12:26.

all part of a gathering to mark the fact that the firm is expanding its

:12:26.:12:28.

operation. This 7 million extension includes new distribution

:12:28.:12:32.

docks for vehicles outside. And chilling and refrigeration plants

:12:32.:12:39.

inside. It is a clear message to everyone we are still investing in

:12:39.:12:44.

the business. This is our 49th year in business and we are still

:12:44.:12:48.

investing in it, improved efficiency is, but above all else

:12:48.:12:52.

we have liberated capacity and increased our ability to improve

:12:52.:12:57.

and increase sales. I declare the extension officially

:12:57.:13:00.

open. Any opening always needs an official plaque unveiling, and this

:13:00.:13:05.

one, of course, was no different. The times are difficult and a

:13:05.:13:09.

moment, but as is demonstrated here, even when times are difficult,

:13:09.:13:13.

successful businesses can develop their businesses by developing

:13:13.:13:21.

sales and creating new jobs and this is what this company has done

:13:21.:13:25.

over 49 years. You have to keep investing in your business.

:13:25.:13:29.

Efficiency comes from having the latest equipment, machinery, having

:13:29.:13:34.

people work hard, and also from being very organised. The extension

:13:34.:13:39.

has added a lot more jobs. 300 people are already employed at the

:13:39.:13:42.

factory. The new extension's only meant another two dozen employees.

:13:42.:13:46.

But if the firm can now up its 60 million pies a year output, more

:13:46.:13:48.

jobs may follow. I do like a pie.

:13:48.:13:51.

An East Midlands art gallery is having to extend its opening hours

:13:51.:13:54.

to cope with a record number of visitors. More than 25,000 people

:13:54.:13:57.

have visited the display of works by the painter LS Lowry at

:13:57.:14:00.

Nottingham's Lakeside Arts Centre. The free exhibition runs until

:14:00.:14:10.

February. So, still time to get there.

:14:10.:14:13.

From art to music. Some of the East Midlands' most

:14:13.:14:16.

talented young musicians have been given a masterclass at London's

:14:16.:14:19.

world famous Abbey Road and Maida Vale studios. Stars such as Jamie

:14:19.:14:22.

Cullum and Tom Robinson were there to give advice. It was all part of

:14:22.:14:26.

BBC Introducing, which aims to find as yet undiscovered stars. Tom

:14:26.:14:34.

Brown reports from London. For the last 80 years, Abbey Road

:14:34.:14:37.

Studios has hosted some of the biggest names in music. But this

:14:38.:14:41.

event was all about the stars of tomorrow. Including David Oliffe

:14:41.:14:51.
:14:51.:14:51.

A self-styled bedroom musician. All his tracks are produced right here

:14:51.:14:54.

on his computer. After he featured on the BBC Radio programme The Beat,

:14:54.:15:00.

David was selected for the Musicians' Masterclass. It is

:15:00.:15:05.

amazing. It feels great. A few weeks ago, I never thought I would

:15:05.:15:10.

ever set foot here and here I am. Also invited down to London was

:15:10.:15:13.

Derbyshire's Lucy Spraggan. She is going from the radio studio of The

:15:13.:15:23.
:15:23.:15:25.

Beat, to the stage of Abbey Road. They asked if anyone would like to

:15:25.:15:30.

play and I shot my hand up. It is all opportunity, so I thought I

:15:30.:15:38.

would have to do it. Whether you are playing in a garage with your

:15:38.:15:44.

mates or on a laptop in your bedroom, or open Mike nights,

:15:44.:15:49.

whatever, it has to start from a place of joy, enjoyment and truth,

:15:49.:15:55.

because that will carry you all the way. He is a great singer, a down-

:15:55.:16:00.

to-earth guy, and you can take a lot from that. For David and Lucy,

:16:00.:16:04.

it is back to the East Midlands, with the hope they will return here

:16:04.:16:14.
:16:14.:16:15.

one day to inspire the next generation of musical talent.

:16:15.:16:18.

It is all about the stars today. Still to come:

:16:18.:16:21.

On top of the world, at the most southerly point on the planet.

:16:21.:16:24.

Derbyshire Student Bryony Balen skis to the South Pole and into the

:16:24.:16:28.

record books. We'll be talking live to her proud parents.

:16:28.:16:33.

Then there may well be some pretty snow in the South Pole, but back

:16:33.:16:37.

here it is dreary rain. Will it improve for the weekend? I will

:16:37.:16:47.

tell you later. Time for the sport. The Olympics

:16:47.:16:53.

are coming this year which is why Colin has been down to East London.

:16:53.:16:58.

I am at the Olympic Park, looking pretty fabulous now. I am preparing

:16:58.:17:02.

for a special programme all about our East Midlands athletes, their

:17:02.:17:08.

coaches and families. I will tell you more about that later on.

:17:08.:17:12.

Plenty of other sport today. A big we can do football. In the

:17:12.:17:16.

Championship, the tension -- attention is focused on Nottingham

:17:16.:17:20.

Forest. They could be about to lose West more -- Wes Morgan to

:17:20.:17:26.

Leicester. For more than eight years, Wes

:17:26.:17:30.

Morgan has been a firm favourite of Nottingham Forest with his solid

:17:30.:17:36.

displays at the back and some great goals, too. Leicester have now been

:17:36.:17:40.

trying to prise him away. They have made one bit, rejected today by

:17:40.:17:45.

Nottingham Forest, but there is nothing to stop Mr coming back with

:17:45.:17:50.

a better offer, for a man out of contract in the summer. We don't

:17:50.:17:55.

want him to leave, but I need to know where he is with it. The club

:17:55.:18:00.

cannot be used like it was used before, where a player has walked

:18:00.:18:07.

out of the door on a free transfer only three or four months later.

:18:07.:18:12.

This is a dilemma. If they reject any bids, they run the risk of

:18:12.:18:17.

losing him anyway, getting nothing for him, so the question is do they

:18:18.:18:23.

cash in now, while they can? In fact, the club have issued a

:18:23.:18:27.

statement today, reiterating they can only sign new players if they

:18:27.:18:34.

sell current ones. It means Cotterell and first-team coach Sean

:18:34.:18:38.

O'Driscoll have a huge task ahead of them, starting with tomorrow's

:18:38.:18:44.

trip to West Ham. At Leicester, they have finalised some business

:18:44.:18:48.

today, signing Manchester United midfielder. They don't play until

:18:48.:18:55.

Monday. Derby County are in action tomorrow. They go to Burnley

:18:55.:19:03.

looking to make it an amazing six wins in a row. The work-rate and

:19:03.:19:09.

honesty of the players has to doubt incredibly. We are making it much

:19:09.:19:13.

more difficult for the opposition to create a chance never mind score

:19:13.:19:16.

against us. An contrast, Notts County are

:19:16.:19:22.

looking to put an end to their slide down the Guam as they take on

:19:22.:19:31.

Martin Allen's former side, MK Dons. Tiger's game with Perone is a dead

:19:32.:19:41.
:19:42.:19:42.

rubber, but the Cornwall quarter- final is a very live.

:19:42.:19:46.

Sir, that is the sport today and looking ahead to the weekend, but

:19:46.:19:50.

in an Olympic year, so many eyes are focused at the Olympic Park in

:19:50.:19:55.

East London, especially true for us in the East Midlands because we are

:19:55.:19:58.

blessed with Olympic talent. We have got a special programme for

:19:58.:20:02.

you this weekend, looking at some of those athletes and the families

:20:03.:20:09.

and support networks that surround them. He is a taste of.

:20:09.:20:19.
:20:19.:20:20.

-- here is a taster. 2012 will be crazy, but exciting.

:20:20.:20:24.

We were literally swimming hat -- it for her for.

:20:24.:20:29.

Here we have a thing about putting athletes on podiums but one thing

:20:29.:20:35.

we have discovered is just what it takes to put them on the podium.

:20:35.:20:42.

Join us at home with the Adlingtons. How are you feeling about it?

:20:42.:20:47.

Excited. Nervous. A bit apprehensive.

:20:47.:20:51.

You can feel the impact of Paralympic training.

:20:51.:20:58.

Times when I was struggling in certain areas may be, it makes me

:20:58.:21:04.

the most motivated person that I am. And come behind the scenes at the

:21:04.:21:10.

world's leading sports institute. Do you think we have become world

:21:10.:21:15.

leaders? If not, we are as good as. That has improved a hell of a lot

:21:15.:21:21.

in the last few years. It is quite a story. That's this

:21:21.:21:23.

Sunday at 5:00pm. I think you will love it.

:21:24.:21:30.

Before I go, news of a Olympians on the up. Ceri Williams and Christian

:21:30.:21:35.

Cullen scored goals to beat Argentina at the four Nations in

:21:35.:21:39.

Cordoba. They are in at the Sunday's fire more.

:21:39.:21:44.

From the Olympic Park, from London, getting ready for the Olympic year,

:21:44.:21:46.

that is your sport. And, as well as that programme,

:21:47.:21:49.

your BBC local radio station will be featuring Olympic stars and

:21:49.:21:54.

their families on their breakfast programmes through next week.

:21:54.:21:57.

So, from those with dreams of Olympic gold to a young woman who

:21:57.:22:02.

had a dream of reaching the South Pole. Well, now she can tick it off

:22:02.:22:05.

her to-do list because her dream has come true. After a slog through

:22:05.:22:10.

the freezing wasteland, Bryony Balen's done it! And she's broken a

:22:10.:22:16.

record, too. Geeta Pendse's with Bryony's delighted family now.

:22:16.:22:24.

They must be delighted. Celebrations are well and truly

:22:24.:22:28.

under way at these -- at this house. We have got mum and dad, friends

:22:28.:22:34.

and family, supporting Bryony Balen for a long time. She came up with

:22:35.:22:39.

the idea three years ago. We will talk to them about what it has

:22:39.:22:43.

meant to her, but now let's have a look at the epic journey.

:22:43.:22:47.

It was a gruelling training process but she was determined to become

:22:47.:22:52.

the youngest Briton to speak to the South Pole. She has Guido the 700

:22:52.:22:56.

miles from the coast to the poll, navigating challenging terrain and

:22:56.:23:02.

temperatures as low as minus 30. The 21-year-old completed her

:23:03.:23:07.

challenge and describe how she felt. Absolutely exhausted, but ecstatic

:23:07.:23:13.

at the same time. To have achieved this so young, everyone seems to be

:23:13.:23:20.

in shock, but I think for me it is the start. I will not have a boring

:23:20.:23:25.

lie. She celebrated her 21st birthday on the ice and said the

:23:25.:23:30.

track had played a huge part in her life. The three-and-a-half-year us,

:23:30.:23:37.

and I turned 21 on this trip, that is a third of my lifetime. There

:23:37.:23:42.

was two years of physical training, and the 3.5 stone of a week I had

:23:43.:23:48.

to put on which was epic. And we skied 1,200 kilometres. The trip

:23:48.:23:53.

began in early December and Bryony Balen is looking forward to a well

:23:53.:23:59.

earned rest this we can. What an incredible journey. We are

:23:59.:24:06.

here with the family and friends. First of all, proud dad Paul. What

:24:06.:24:10.

was your reaction, initially, when she said she wanted to ski to the

:24:10.:24:16.

South Pole? We sort of grinned and said that sounds like a great idea.

:24:16.:24:21.

We left it because very often she has mad ideas, but this one stuck

:24:21.:24:27.

and she was serious about it. And off she went, training, finding out

:24:27.:24:31.

information about who would lead the expedition, and the cost and

:24:31.:24:35.

every thing. And we get the sense of the training she was under, but

:24:35.:24:42.

what was it like for her to be out there? Minus 45, 47 degrees, and

:24:42.:24:48.

the food was pretty ghastly, she says. But it is both a physical and

:24:48.:24:54.

mental bath -- but it is both physical and mental attributes that

:24:54.:24:58.

she needed. What did you say to her? She said, I don't know what I

:24:58.:25:03.

will do next. What happens now? That makes sense. Granny and

:25:04.:25:08.

grandad, you must be proud. Definitely. Couldn't wish for more.

:25:08.:25:13.

And what do you think? A great achievement. It has been coming for

:25:13.:25:17.

a long time, but she has got the guts to do this job. Berry

:25:17.:25:24.

Proudfoot stop well, Bryony Balen, she will leave the South Pole this

:25:24.:25:30.

evening and something tells me we might hear about her again. Now, is

:25:30.:25:40.
:25:40.:25:44.

it a post to her? Yes. Cheers. -- Hopefully, she is not skiing back.

:25:44.:25:54.
:25:54.:25:55.

Maybe catching a bus? Minus 45? Goodness me. A mild

:25:55.:26:02.

weekend in store over the next couple of days. It will be windy.

:26:02.:26:07.

Do you remember yesterday I showed you 14-year-old putts Molly's

:26:07.:26:15.

photo? 13-year-old George is getting in on the act with this. I

:26:15.:26:20.

thought I would share just shrug's attempt with his. Thank you for

:26:20.:26:25.

your sunset over Ashby de la Zouch. Whatever your age, send me your

:26:25.:26:31.

photos. Let's take a look at the weather. We have had this pesky

:26:31.:26:35.

warm front sitting over asked for remarks of the day, bringing a

:26:36.:26:40.

dreary and dank conditions, outbreaks of rain as well, now

:26:40.:26:44.

starting to clear a way eastwards and we will start to see some

:26:44.:26:52.

drizzle. Durie, most places should turn a dry. -- generally, most

:26:52.:27:02.

places. Winds increase. We expect mild temperatures. Tomorrow morning,

:27:02.:27:06.

mild, cloud with some drizzle through the morning but then

:27:06.:27:09.

gradually through the afternoon we should see things drying and

:27:09.:27:14.

brightening. You might see some sunshine before the date is out.

:27:14.:27:19.

Temperature-wise, mild. The key thing are those gusting winds but

:27:20.:27:29.

particularly in the morning. 40, or 50, mph. Sunday, cloudy, but more

:27:29.:27:37.
