It's almost 6:30pm - you're watching East Midlands Today.

:00:10.:00:11.

Our top story tonight - why a teacher's concerns

:00:12.:00:13.

about a young girl were dismissed by colleagues.

:00:14.:00:16.

That girl was seven-year-old Shanay. Also tonight a retired teacher takes

:00:17.:00:30.

to the stand to deny a string of historic sex offences against

:00:31.:00:34.

children. Plus as Article 50 is trickled in Brussels your questions

:00:35.:00:39.

are answered. What happens to my children and is very chance that we

:00:40.:00:44.

will be deported or even separated? We be necessary to have a Visa? And

:00:45.:00:49.

meet the rare five Legoland. Good evening and welcome

:00:50.:00:55.

to the programme. Tonight with Maurice Flynn

:00:56.:00:59.

and me - Geeta Pendse. First tonight coroner has criticised

:01:00.:01:09.

two staff at Nottingham primary School who as undermined the safety

:01:10.:01:12.

of a little girl who died because they failed to pass on concerns

:01:13.:01:15.

about abuse. Seven-year-old Shanay Walker died. Her art and Jane

:01:16.:01:23.

grandmother were jailed. Today the coroner delivers her conclusions.

:01:24.:01:30.

Simon is outside the court. What do the coroner 's say? That article

:01:31.:01:38.

coroner has said a narrative conclusion. She said Shanay died by

:01:39.:01:43.

nonaccidental injury. She was critical of the headteacher of the

:01:44.:01:47.

primary school and another teaching assistant. She said they did not

:01:48.:01:52.

pass on say safeguarding concerns after a number of other teachers saw

:01:53.:01:57.

bruises on Shanay. And when she died she had more than 50 injuries.

:01:58.:01:59.

Shanay Walker's mum, Leanne, suffered anxiety and postnatal

:02:00.:02:00.

depression after giving birth to another child.

:02:01.:02:03.

Shanay went into care at the age of four.

:02:04.:02:07.

Foster carer Alison Robinson said she was

:02:08.:02:09.

desperate to live with her mother and Shanay would say, "I want to be

:02:10.:02:13.

I go to my friends house and have a midnight

:02:14.:02:20.

feast and eat my breakfast and go to sleep.

:02:21.:02:24.

People started noticing a change in Shanay.

:02:25.:02:27.

Eight months after getting permanent guardianship this

:02:28.:02:30.

video was taken by child psychologists, as they assessed how

:02:31.:02:33.

They roleplayed different games given to them by the assessors.

:02:34.:02:39.

The experts thought they had a good relationship.

:02:40.:02:42.

But the inquest heard this wasn't a true reflection.

:02:43.:02:55.

Kay-Ann Morris was putting on an act for the video session.

:02:56.:02:58.

Doctor Zoe Kyte said at the time of the video and

:02:59.:03:01.

afterwards, she saw positive interaction between them.

:03:02.:03:05.

We heard a more sinister side to the aunt in this audio.

:03:06.:03:09.

Kay-Ann Morris recorded a meeting with Shanay's teacher at school.

:03:10.:03:13.

As they walked away after the meeting, her own recording

:03:14.:03:15.

continues, as she shouts abuse at Shanay.

:03:16.:03:30.

Shanay was at Southglade Primary School in Nottingham.

:03:31.:03:32.

At the inquest, assistant headteacher Lisa Hyland

:03:33.:03:35.

said she was suspicious someone was deliberately causing

:03:36.:03:38.

Multiple child safeguarding concerns were raised

:03:39.:03:44.

when Shanay lived at her aunt's home, but throughout the inquest

:03:45.:03:47.

questions were asked about information not being passed

:03:48.:03:49.

Teaching assistant Linda Simms said Shanay "looked scared of aunty".

:03:50.:03:55.

She made a referral, after bruises were seen

:03:56.:03:58.

In September 2013, the inquest heard Shanay told her school

:03:59.:04:04.

she'd been beaten with a belt and hit over the knuckles with a wooden

:04:05.:04:07.

Kay-Ann Morris, who had experienced violence from her

:04:08.:04:12.

mother, was allowed to dominate meetings with professionals.

:04:13.:04:15.

She was even permitted to bring so-called

:04:16.:04:17.

"spiritual guardians" to meetings - they were her friends,

:04:18.:04:21.

who backed up what she was claiming about Shanay and

:04:22.:04:23.

The inquest continued to hear about missed

:04:24.:04:26.

It emerged during the inquest that soon after Shanay's death,

:04:27.:04:33.

Southglade School headteacher Peter Smalley and teaching assistant Laura

:04:34.:04:37.

Shreaves recreated a child safeguarding document.

:04:38.:04:42.

It has gone missing, the inquest was told,

:04:43.:04:44.

They did this on a day the teacher who raised

:04:45.:04:50.

the original concern about Shanay was not in school.

:04:51.:04:54.

Just hours before she died, seven-year-old Shanay was

:04:55.:04:59.

filmed on CCTV, in her pyjamas, going to a corner shop alone.

:05:00.:05:02.

Shanay's aunt, Kay-Ann Morris, was cleared of murder.

:05:03.:05:05.

She and Shanay's grandmother were jailed after being found guilty

:05:06.:05:10.

Shanay Walker had been beaten, burned and abused.

:05:11.:05:15.

Her young life ended due to a brain injury, in July 2014.

:05:16.:05:27.

The coroner praised the dignity of Shanay's mother saying she bears the

:05:28.:05:35.

greatest loss of all. A family friend spoke on her behalf.

:05:36.:05:36.

This inquest has shown the number of services involved with Shanay

:05:37.:05:39.

It also shows the number of missed opportunities, where different

:05:40.:05:42.

actions may have resulted in different outcomes for Shanay.

:05:43.:05:46.

Leanne believes Shanay was let down on many occasions.

:05:47.:05:51.

The journey doesn't end here for Leanne.

:05:52.:05:53.

Leanne still wants justice for Shanay.

:05:54.:05:55.

No one has been held to account for her death.

:05:56.:06:04.

We are sorry for the poor sound quality An clip. Now a serious case

:06:05.:06:11.

review report is due to come out soon and the coroner said that any

:06:12.:06:17.

lessons from that, any improvements in safeguarding will be a tribute to

:06:18.:06:19.

Shanay Walker. Thank you, Simon. Earlier I spoke to Alison Michalska,

:06:20.:06:21.

who is Nottingham City Council's Corporate Director

:06:22.:06:24.

of Children and Adults. I started by asking her if anyone at

:06:25.:06:32.

the school who was involved should be disciplined.

:06:33.:06:33.

Well, I can't really comment on individual HR matters

:06:34.:06:35.

but obviously there has been a serious case review

:06:36.:06:37.

which, as the coroner said, was very comprehensive,

:06:38.:06:40.

and new issues have emerged through the coroner's court.

:06:41.:06:43.

So they are obviously now subject to an in-depth investigation at the

:06:44.:06:46.

But you can't just point the blame at the teachers all the

:06:47.:06:51.

school, this was professionals from the local authority which the

:06:52.:06:54.

The requirements at the time were not adequate, so the

:06:55.:07:02.

Government actually changed the rules around a year ago around

:07:03.:07:05.

Sorry to interrupt, but you essentially

:07:06.:07:10.

saying that your department everything right?

:07:11.:07:13.

No, I'm not saying that we did everything right.

:07:14.:07:15.

And it's with the benefit of hindsight

:07:16.:07:17.

that we see where things could have been changed.

:07:18.:07:19.

And since actually Shanay died a number of things have changed

:07:20.:07:22.

Retrospectively, this young girl was failed.

:07:23.:07:28.

Do you not feel any sense, as the head of a

:07:29.:07:30.

department, that that was not good enough?

:07:31.:07:32.

It's never good enough when children are harmed.

:07:33.:07:36.

I think what we have to remember, though, is that,

:07:37.:07:39.

as the coroner has said as well, that the aunt who we entrusted the

:07:40.:07:42.

care of Shanay to actually managed to deceive most of the people

:07:43.:07:47.

A serious case review was done shortly after her death.

:07:48.:07:52.

It will be published now, when we can take into account what

:07:53.:07:55.

the coroner is saying, to see if there are more

:07:56.:07:58.

But there has been a lot of action and improvement since.

:07:59.:08:01.

OK, Alison Michalska, thank you for joining us.

:08:02.:08:04.

You're watching East Midlands Today - and if the triggering of Brexit

:08:05.:08:07.

has left you with some questions, you're in the right place.

:08:08.:08:10.

Very shortly we'll be putting some of your questions

:08:11.:08:12.

to our local experts, here in the studio.

:08:13.:08:23.

Nottinghamshire Police have made a direct appeal to a missing mother,

:08:24.:08:26.

asking her to contact them to let them know

:08:27.:08:29.

that her and her two children are safe.

:08:30.:08:31.

42-year-old Samantha Baldwin from Newark is believed

:08:32.:08:34.

to be with her two sons, nine-year-old Louis

:08:35.:08:37.

The family were last seen in Nottingham on Monday.

:08:38.:08:41.

Today, the police have urged her to pick up

:08:42.:08:44.

the phone and let them know that she and the boys are OK.

:08:45.:08:48.

A 19-year-old has appeared in court after being charged

:08:49.:08:51.

22-year-old Pedro Godinho died from a stab wound after being found

:08:52.:08:57.

seriously injured in Beaumont Leys on Sunday morning.

:08:58.:09:00.

His family say he had a good heart and promising life ahead of him.

:09:01.:09:04.

Ezekiel Braithwaite, of no fixed address,

:09:05.:09:07.

is also charged with attempted GBH and will be back

:09:08.:09:10.

A retired teacher from Nottinghamshire has taken

:09:11.:09:16.

the witness stand to deny a string of historical child sex offences.

:09:17.:09:19.

Christopher Metcalfe's accused of raping a teenager,

:09:20.:09:24.

Our social affairs correspondent, Jeremy Ball,

:09:25.:09:28.

He said the abuse simply didn't happen.

:09:29.:09:38.

He was asked in detail about allegations, that go

:09:39.:09:40.

and he repeatedly denied sexually abusing a nine-year-old pupil,

:09:41.:09:47.

She says Christopher Metcalfe kissed and touched her inappropriately,

:09:48.:09:55.

at a swimming pool, during a story-time class,

:09:56.:09:58.

He told the jury that pupils did sometimes visit,

:09:59.:10:05.

And he also explained why he took a teenager home,

:10:06.:10:11.

after he moved to this street in Kirkby in Ashfield.

:10:12.:10:15.

He said he was simply dropping his dogs off

:10:16.:10:18.

from the Skegby Hall children's home, where she was a resident,

:10:19.:10:23.

His barrister said, "Did you rape her, Mr Metcalfe?"

:10:24.:10:28.

He replied, clearly and confidently, "No, I did not".

:10:29.:10:32.

Under cross-examination this afternoon, he was challenged over

:10:33.:10:41.

why he changed his account of what happened -

:10:42.:10:44.

because he told the police he wasn't aware of whether he'd kissed

:10:45.:10:49.

Today Christopher Metcalfe told the jury it was because he'd

:10:50.:10:55.

"I was suffering from shock" he said.

:10:56.:10:59.

And "I didn't really know what was going on".

:11:00.:11:04.

Sarah Knight, for the prosecution, said "Do you feel ashamed and sick

:11:05.:11:08.

Again Christopher Metcalfe replied, "I did not do it".

:11:09.:11:12.

He'll be back on the witness stand tomorrow.

:11:13.:11:20.

So the letter has been signed, sealed and sent and Britain's

:11:21.:11:23.

divorce from the European Union is officially under way.

:11:24.:11:25.

"It's happened - and there's no turning back."

:11:26.:11:27.

That's what Theresa May said as she formally triggered Brexit.

:11:28.:11:31.

Responding to the UK's notice to quit, EU President Donald Tusk

:11:32.:11:33.

But things are far from over - in fact, the questions,

:11:34.:11:40.

uncertainties and complex negotiations are only just starting.

:11:41.:11:43.

Before we look at those, just what has the EU ever done

:11:44.:11:47.

The EU is the East Midlands biggest market.

:11:48.:11:53.

About 200,000 jobs, that is one in 11, I linked to trade with

:11:54.:11:56.

Most of those jobs are in manufacturing metals, cars and the

:11:57.:12:02.

Nearly 44% of the region's exports go to the EU

:12:03.:12:07.

generating about ?8.5 billion a year.

:12:08.:12:16.

And virtually half of the East Midlands imports are from the EU.

:12:17.:12:21.

That is worth about ?10.8 billion a year. In the past five years more

:12:22.:12:28.

than 220 investment projects have received money from the EU, creating

:12:29.:12:35.

or protecting 16,000 jobs here. Almost quarter of a million EU

:12:36.:12:39.

citizens living East Midlands. That is one in 18. They worked mainly in

:12:40.:12:47.

hotels and manufacturing. 9000 are employed in the NHS and adult social

:12:48.:12:48.

care alone. In a moment we'll be

:12:49.:12:49.

putting some of your Brexit First, though, our political editor

:12:50.:12:51.

Tony Roe has been in Westminster Tony, all eyes have once again

:12:52.:12:55.

been on the Commons. As you say, historic day, and it

:12:56.:13:10.

shows you just how quickly politics changes. As I was looking down at

:13:11.:13:20.

the packed benches, there was the Eurosceptic fur North West

:13:21.:13:23.

Leicestershire. He's been there since 2010 and he's always been a

:13:24.:13:26.

thorn in the side of the Conservative Government. His own

:13:27.:13:30.

Government. It was that awkward minority that forced David Cameron

:13:31.:13:34.

to hold the referendum to give the British people their say. And we

:13:35.:13:37.

know what the British people have said. He predicted it would happen.

:13:38.:13:43.

It leaves now a minority on the Conservative benches of those who

:13:44.:13:46.

are worried about what is going to happen over the next two years.

:13:47.:13:51.

People like Nicky Morgan and our Subaru. Don't forget, Theresa May,

:13:52.:13:56.

the Prime Minister, that we should come together. As a nation, does

:13:57.:14:02.

that mean we are all now Eurosceptics?

:14:03.:14:02.

We're joined by two experts who we're hoping will be able

:14:03.:14:05.

Professor Jeff Kenner, the chair of European Law

:14:06.:14:08.

at the University of Nottingham and Chris Hobson from

:14:09.:14:11.

Let's get our first question - it's from West Bridgford,

:14:12.:14:15.

My name's Lee, I'm 45 and self-employed.

:14:16.:14:21.

I would like to know what assurances we can get from the

:14:22.:14:23.

politicians that will help business to continue to trade with the EU

:14:24.:14:27.

when exporting and importing, enabling trade to carry on for

:14:28.:14:30.

The EU is our biggest trading partner. It's unlikely to be as easy

:14:31.:14:46.

as it currently is. It's important in the negotiations that we put low

:14:47.:14:50.

tariffs or no terrace at the heart and when it comes to customs

:14:51.:14:52.

barriers that they are minimised as far as possible. Each MRC need be

:14:53.:14:58.

properly resorts to Gilles with this. I think it will continue to be

:14:59.:15:02.

really important to trade with the EU.

:15:03.:15:03.

Next up, a question from Derby - which voted to leave -

:15:04.:15:06.

My name is Katie, I'm originally from the Czech Republic.

:15:07.:15:09.

I live in Derby, I'm married to a British

:15:10.:15:11.

citizen, and I work in the public sector.

:15:12.:15:13.

I would like to know which rights I will have after Brexit.

:15:14.:15:16.

The good news is that the Government has given a commitment today that

:15:17.:15:23.

people's existing rights will continue during the Pope period of

:15:24.:15:29.

membership. And also both sides have agreed that it is top of the agenda

:15:30.:15:34.

for the negotiations. I think the EU will not be prepared to reach an

:15:35.:15:38.

agreement with the UK unless all of the acquired rights that EU citizens

:15:39.:15:43.

have now are preserved. I think that will be a deal-breaker.

:15:44.:15:44.

Our third question is also from Derby.

:15:45.:15:46.

The main thing I want to know about Brexit and the

:15:47.:15:50.

reason why I voted out was because of the immigration question, and

:15:51.:15:54.

whether we're going to be able to control the people coming in.

:15:55.:15:58.

It's unlikely that it is going to change very much, because Theresa

:15:59.:16:13.

May says she wants this deep and special relationship and the EU is

:16:14.:16:18.

going to insist that as far as possible there is free movement of

:16:19.:16:22.

people, not the Surrey in the way we know now, but that would have to be

:16:23.:16:26.

the condition of trade agreement. There will have to be something very

:16:27.:16:33.

close to what we have now. And of course we are going to continue to

:16:34.:16:37.

need those EU workers to perform essential services and functions. EU

:16:38.:16:45.

employees are really important part of the workforce in East Midlands.

:16:46.:16:47.

That is not going to change. I enjoy travelling to Europe and my

:16:48.:16:49.

question would be is it going to be necessary to have a visa for every

:16:50.:16:55.

time I want to travel to a European Providing the security issues can be

:16:56.:17:09.

dealt with quickly in the negotiations, I'm sure there will

:17:10.:17:17.

continue to be visa free travel. It is in everyone's interests. I'm

:17:18.:17:22.

pretty confident. Time for one last question.

:17:23.:17:22.

I'm wondering whether Al country will be

:17:23.:17:25.

as strong economically after Brexit as it was before.

:17:26.:17:33.

What we can say is we are going into it in a strong position. We serve

:17:34.:17:42.

via our members every quarter and they have been investing. They are

:17:43.:17:52.

looking to grow so we are coming at it from a position of strength.

:17:53.:17:54.

And if you have a question to ask our experts, then

:17:55.:17:58.

they're staying with us for a special live Facebook

:17:59.:18:00.

discussion straight after the programme this evening.

:18:01.:18:02.

You can post your questions now, and watch it live on our

:18:03.:18:05.

A week on from the attack at Westminster in London,

:18:06.:18:12.

a vigil has been held in Leicester in tribute to the victims.

:18:13.:18:15.

Dozens of people from all faiths gathered on Welford Road this

:18:16.:18:17.

It's one of a number of events being held

:18:18.:18:21.

across the country to mark the attack, which left four people

:18:22.:18:23.

We all need to work together to ensure that the safety

:18:24.:18:29.

and the security of our nation is of paramount importance.

:18:30.:18:33.

What took place at Westminster Bridge attacked the very

:18:34.:18:37.

heart of the foundation of our democracy, and we need to stand

:18:38.:18:40.

together to say that people of all faiths and of no faith

:18:41.:18:43.

It's a busy day everywhere and for sport as well.

:18:44.:18:53.

Sadly they don't include how to spot a winner -

:18:54.:18:57.

but sports news first because Claudio Ranieri has spoken

:18:58.:19:01.

out saying his sacking by Leicester City was one

:19:02.:19:03.

The Italian was dismissed nine months after winning

:19:04.:19:08.

He's told media in Italy, "I have been through a lot in my long

:19:09.:19:15.

career, but never anything like this."

:19:16.:19:17.

It's been a busy day at the Leicester Tigers.

:19:18.:19:19.

Ex-England international Mathew Tait and Italy prop Michele Rizzo have

:19:20.:19:23.

both agreed new deals to stay at the club.

:19:24.:19:25.

As have talented youngsters Harry Thacker and Tom Wells.

:19:26.:19:30.

Frantic work's being done to make sure the first speedway

:19:31.:19:32.

meeting of the season goes ahead in Leicester.

:19:33.:19:34.

The Lions have a new owner and new signings -

:19:35.:19:37.

but they've had problems with the track.

:19:38.:19:39.

An open practice session had to be cancelled today because of surface

:19:40.:19:42.

The team are due to meet Swindon on Saturday.

:19:43.:19:47.

The management insist it'll be all right on the night.

:19:48.:19:51.

You know, it don't look the best but it is...

:19:52.:19:56.

It looks a lot worse than it is, just because we've

:19:57.:19:59.

And by tomorrow it should all be laid back down and everything

:20:00.:20:05.

I'm very, very confident, to be honest.

:20:06.:20:12.

What's the secret of a successful horse racing trainer?

:20:13.:20:15.

Mick Appleby is currently the champion on all-weather tracks.

:20:16.:20:18.

He's just moved from his hired yard at Newark to a purpose built complex

:20:19.:20:24.

And Mark Shardlow has been to see him.

:20:25.:20:29.

A man and his horses - Mick Appleby trains 92 of them

:20:30.:20:34.

It's not something you're going to get rich out of,

:20:35.:20:39.

unless you're lucky enough to have some very good horses.

:20:40.:20:42.

It's a way of life, more than anything.

:20:43.:20:45.

I've done racing ever since I left school.

:20:46.:20:48.

But I've never done it for the money.

:20:49.:20:50.

It's a way of life that starts at dawn and

:20:51.:20:55.

In the morning, the horses go on the gallops in their groups,

:20:56.:20:59.

alongside the Melton to Oakham Road in the new purpose-built

:21:00.:21:02.

His secret is to get the horses fit and

:21:03.:21:07.

He's just fantastic with the horses, he

:21:08.:21:11.

seems to know what horses want - his horses are very, very happy.

:21:12.:21:15.

A lot of the horses that we've bought,

:21:16.:21:19.

they've come from other places and sometimes they've maybe got

:21:20.:21:21.

And he's very good at getting them sweet, getting them enjoying life.

:21:22.:21:26.

And whenever you come here you see happy horses.

:21:27.:21:28.

There are 22 staff in the yard and lots of casuals.

:21:29.:21:31.

It's a team that are currently the all-weather track champions, and

:21:32.:21:34.

with the season coming to a close, are hoping to retain it.

:21:35.:21:37.

I mean, it wasn't something I was going to try

:21:38.:21:39.

and win this year because we're moving yards halfway through the

:21:40.:21:43.

winter campaign, so it'll be hard to retain the title,

:21:44.:21:46.

so we didn't really concentrate on doing it.

:21:47.:21:51.

But now we're in with a good chance of trying to win it again.

:21:52.:21:54.

And then there are the owners - always welcome here,

:21:55.:21:57.

Some have a string of horses, others, a tiny part-share in

:21:58.:22:01.

I mean, it's a privilege to be able to come to the yard like

:22:02.:22:08.

this and meet up with other owners, but then on race days we go

:22:09.:22:12.

You know, you see them here, we feed them carrots

:22:13.:22:18.

There may be no star horses, big race winners, but Mick

:22:19.:22:24.

Appleby's string are winning enough to make him one of the kings of

:22:25.:22:27.

Just finally from me, last night we were at the East Midlands newest

:22:28.:22:38.

And Nick Matthew, who we spoke with last night, led Nottingham

:22:39.:22:44.

It means Nottingham and Leicester are both challenging for a semifinal

:22:45.:22:49.

I have no doubt will follow them if they get there. Thanks, Colin.

:22:50.:23:02.

Now, is it something in the air, in the water?

:23:03.:23:04.

Are the sheep locally increasing production because of Brexit?

:23:05.:23:06.

Well, whatever it is, it's certainly proving to be

:23:07.:23:08.

an exceptional lambing season in parts of Derbyshire.

:23:09.:23:10.

Yes, stand by for a rare five-legged lamb!

:23:11.:23:14.

Plus another set of sheep each giving birth to four young -

:23:15.:23:18.

also highly unusual, as James Roberson reports.

:23:19.:23:26.

Two sheep at this from, each with three lambs, that's a lot of lambs

:23:27.:23:36.

each but still not the full set. In one of the stables are two more

:23:37.:23:40.

lambs being hand reared. They are the children of those out there,

:23:41.:23:45.

which have had for lambs each this year and cannot feed them all. The

:23:46.:23:51.

family who run the farm is a last autumn was ideal for the sheep to

:23:52.:23:55.

have multiple offspring and not just on their farm. On a commercial scale

:23:56.:23:59.

I've heard that there are a lot of triplets and quads this time. We had

:24:00.:24:04.

a lovely autumn with lush grass, a good time for the sheep when they

:24:05.:24:08.

got pregnant, so it made their lives easier. Meanwhile, just up the road,

:24:09.:24:20.

this flock look normal enough except for this fellow. Yes, he really does

:24:21.:24:25.

have five legs. Yes, very surprising to us. Saw him running around. And

:24:26.:24:35.

it's been fine? Yeah, he's healthy. Unusual? Yes. We believe there was

:24:36.:24:49.

one in Wales a few years ago. This sheep was named Forest after Forest

:24:50.:24:56.

Gump. So we have spring lambs, do we have

:24:57.:25:04.

any more spring weather? Something a bit warm and brighter on

:25:05.:25:13.

the way tomorrow. Today was fairly cloudy with outbreaks of Rhine, but

:25:14.:25:21.

brightening up tomorrow. Temperatures ran about 17 or 18

:25:22.:25:25.

degrees. Here is what is going on. The low pressure is still out the

:25:26.:25:29.

West, still sending us some weather fronts but it is a slight shift in

:25:30.:25:34.

the wind direction to a southerly that will drag in the milder air

:25:35.:25:40.

tomorrow. Through tonight, and this evening, a few outbreaks of rain. It

:25:41.:25:46.

will be fairly cloudy, will see more showers in the early hours but again

:25:47.:25:54.

a mild night. Ten or 11 degrees. Tomorrow has a fairly cloudy start,

:25:55.:25:59.

a few outbreaks of rain, possibly heavy, but brightening up in the

:26:00.:26:04.

afternoon, still some high-level medium cloud. Not total blue skies

:26:05.:26:09.

but it will be warm. Temperatures at a maximum of 19. If you see the sun

:26:10.:26:17.

it will be lovely. Friday has a cold front moving from west to east. That

:26:18.:26:23.

will bring some rain. There will be sunshine around but it will

:26:24.:26:26.

introduce some cooler air. By the time we move into the weekend there

:26:27.:26:32.

will be April showers on Saturday. Don't take the location of the blue

:26:33.:26:36.

to literally. It just means we could see showers through the day.

:26:37.:26:40.

Temperatures as a maximum of 14. There could also be some thunder. I

:26:41.:26:46.

pressure building in Sunday, so turning drier and brighter. Slightly

:26:47.:26:52.

clearer that will see the tomorrow. Not a bad forecast, definitely

:26:53.:26:53.

starting to feel more springlike. Very shortly, our guests will be

:26:54.:27:05.

back for the Brexit special. Do join us on Facebook. Send us your

:27:06.:27:11.

questions. For now, from us, goodbye.
