A health watchdog says those suffering with suspected dementia

are waiting too long for a diagnosis in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Health bosses say they're discovering a record number

of cases, but delays are causing distresses to sufferers

They're carrying out a review in the New Year.

Our health correspondent Rob Sissons has more.

The Alzheimer's Society reckons that the number of people living

with dementia in the east midlands is around 60,000.

Therea, from Arnold in Nottinghamshire, is one of them.

impact from those people suffering from a disease which will just keep

Newcastle University says it'll investigate the death

of a 20-year-old Leicestershire student who died after

Ed Farmer, from Tilton on Hill, died in the Royal Victoria

A court's heard how a young Nottingham man died from a single
