The region's seen two protests today - both

In Grantham, the continued closure of the town's A unit has renewed

anger, with campaigners tryhng to keep it open, and in Leicester -

protesters are trying to halt plans to close Glenfield's Heart Tnit

An investigation's under wax in Leicester tonight

Emergency services were called to the car park of an industrial

unit off Charter Street just before 8:30 this morning.

Forensic teams are investig`ting the scene tonight, as policd

try to piece together the events leading up to his death.

A long summer has seen one of the region's fledgling

vineyards harvest a late - and bumper - crop this weekdnd.

It's only the second harvest ever for the Hanwell Wine Estate

at Hickling Pastures, between Nottingham and Melton.

It grows three varieties of grape on its eight acres,

and plans to turn them into English sparkling

Ambitious - considering how the season got going.

We started off with very late flowering, and the late flowering

But the vines have caught up, and normally we would be kind

of looking to harvest in earlier October, but because of that late

flowering we've got to the stage where we're kind of heading

towards November, so we need to get everything safe and secure.

On that note, let's check the weather now.

Well, it may be a couple of days till Halloween,

but if you are out trick-or,treating tonight the weather's

not exactly a treat, but it's not really a trick either.

It is very mild this evening, we're expecting lows

of only around 12 Celsius, but we do have some

drizzly showers working across the region as well.

Then as we go through towards tomorrow morning it's a bit

you may see a hint of brightness, but again those slightly

drizzly showers, with highs of around 14 degrees Celsius.

The outlook continues to be mild for the next few days,

lots of cloud around, but whatever you're doing,

don't forget that the clocks go back by an hour tonight.

Good evening, it has been a rather cloudy but certainly very mild day.

In fact where we did see sunshine breaking through, in Hull for

instance, temperatures rose as high as 19 degrees, more typical of the

middle of August and late October. Things remaining mild and largely

dry down to this big area of high pressure really dominating the

weather. Bringing light winds. Still a lot of ploughed through this

evening and overnight. A few spots of drizzle coming out of the cloud,

three central parts of England and Wales. Scattered showers towards the

far north-west of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Where we see clear

spells we
