Coming up tonight, a BBC London exclusive. | :00:00. | :00:09.
One of the London Bridge terrorists filmed at Speakers Corner. | :00:10. | :00:11.
He threatened to kill a former Muslim for leaving the faith. | :00:12. | :00:19.
He said if you don't obey my religion, you should be killed. I | :00:20. | :00:25.
knew it, you know, this guy was going to do something stupid. And he | :00:26. | :00:31.
did. I just regret why didn't I tell this the police? If I did I'd have | :00:32. | :00:33.
saved many lives. We'll also hear from other former | :00:34. | :00:35.
Muslims who claim they face Two men are being treated | :00:36. | :00:37.
for life changing burns. The future is uncertain | :00:38. | :00:43.
for these pre-schoolers, as some nurseries struggle to meet | :00:44. | :00:45.
the government's promise And the residents who aren't safe | :00:46. | :00:47.
from getting parking fines, even when their cars | :00:48. | :00:53.
on their driveways. This programme has been | :00:54. | :01:07.
handed footage of one of the London Bridge attackers, | :01:08. | :01:12.
Khuram Butt, who, with his accomplices, killed eight people | :01:13. | :01:15.
last month near Borough market. The pictures show Butt arguing | :01:16. | :01:19.
with another man at Speakers' The man he was arguing with, | :01:20. | :01:23.
who gave BBC London the footage, He claims Butt had told him, | :01:24. | :01:29.
he should be killed The man says he now regrets | :01:30. | :01:34.
not telling the police Gareth Furby has this | :01:35. | :01:39.
exclusive report. Is this the ringleader | :01:40. | :01:46.
of the London Bridge terror attack, Khuram Butt, at Hyde Park Corner | :01:47. | :01:48.
just months before he organised Wearing a Superman sweatshirt and | :01:49. | :02:01.
arguing with other people just months before he organised that | :02:02. | :02:05.
murderous attack. We know it is him because it has been confirmed to us | :02:06. | :02:10.
today by a relative and compare his face is pictured at Hyde Park with | :02:11. | :02:14.
the image issued after the London Bridge attack in June. Butt is seen | :02:15. | :02:21.
smiling but moments before the mobile phone camera had been turned | :02:22. | :02:25.
on to capture him arguing, he told a former Muslim he should be killed | :02:26. | :02:31.
for leaving the religion. The man that was threatened fiscal Aftal. | :02:32. | :02:35.
He's called Aftal and comes from north-west London and has asked | :02:36. | :02:38.
us to withhold his identity so we've used an actor to voice his words. | :02:39. | :02:41.
We're also going to show you some of the things Butt said the tame | :02:42. | :02:45.
trinkets-mac time. He came up and said I want | :02:46. | :02:48.
to have a discussion. He turned suddenly and got personal | :02:49. | :02:50.
and started threatening that He was just threatening and very | :02:51. | :02:53.
aggressive but when the people started to come, he got | :02:54. | :02:56.
a bit calmer. If I'm not sure that the Koran | :02:57. | :02:58.
is true, I can do this. I have firm belief | :02:59. | :03:01.
the Koran is true. He said if you don't obey my | :03:02. | :03:03.
religion, you should be killed. I knew it, you know, | :03:04. | :03:07.
this guy was going to do I just regret why didn't I inform | :03:08. | :03:10.
this to the police because if I did Maybe the police | :03:11. | :03:20.
would have listened. This mobile phone footage filmed, | :03:21. | :03:23.
we were told last August, was given to us at the weekend | :03:24. | :03:25.
after we visited a London address It's the headquarters of a group | :03:26. | :03:29.
who called themselves The Council Of Ex-Muslims Of | :03:30. | :03:35.
Britain. They claim a growing membership | :03:36. | :03:37.
and say in London some people Sadia Hamid says she left | :03:38. | :03:40.
the religion when she was 19. Because of the inequality | :03:41. | :03:49.
between men and women. Now she claims people | :03:50. | :03:52.
who work here faced threats. Threats of being shot, | :03:53. | :03:56.
threats of being bombed. Another ex-Muslims says he's been | :03:57. | :04:01.
threatened in London The threats, I went on a bus | :04:02. | :04:03.
for example one day and two people recognised me, | :04:04. | :04:10.
and they said, you should be killed. This weekend, the group organised | :04:11. | :04:13.
a conference at a London address that wasn't reveal to anyone | :04:14. | :04:16.
except those involved, We can fight for the right to leave | :04:17. | :04:19.
and criticise religion, and especially Islam without fear, | :04:20. | :04:25.
without threats, and A leading London Imam says no true | :04:26. | :04:29.
Muslim would threaten anyone Islam does not promote | :04:30. | :04:35.
hatred, homophobia or Islam promotes equality, | :04:36. | :04:43.
dignity and honour of all people. But some ex-Muslims to see green | :04:44. | :04:49.
and it was at this conference that Aftal gave us this mobile phone | :04:50. | :04:52.
footage of an encounter with a man who does resemble | :04:53. | :04:56.
the London Bridge bomb. I felt really bad when | :04:57. | :05:02.
the attacks happened. I could have reported | :05:03. | :05:04.
him to the police. And tonight the Met Police said that | :05:05. | :05:06.
they'd encourage the public That's our top story this evening, | :05:07. | :05:09.
but this is what's still We've heard how the government wants | :05:10. | :05:18.
to ban diesel and petrol cars, so we all have cleaner air | :05:19. | :05:23.
but is London ready for it? Two men are being treated | :05:24. | :05:33.
in a specialist burns unit, One of them, Shakwat Hussain, | :05:34. | :05:35.
from East London, has told this programme he believes he knows | :05:36. | :05:44.
who attacked him and his friend. This is London's new approach to | :05:45. | :06:01.
tackling acid attacks. Firefighters attending not burning buildings but | :06:02. | :06:05.
burning people. These men urgently need cold water on their wounds. | :06:06. | :06:10.
This is the latest in a wave of suspected acid attacks that shows no | :06:11. | :06:15.
signs of stopping. Last night, those two men in their 20s were targeted | :06:16. | :06:19.
in Bethnal Green and Bow while driving. They ran into this shop. He | :06:20. | :06:24.
didn't want to be on camera. There were two Bengali boys came into the | :06:25. | :06:31.
shop. They screamed that they got acid attack. I gave them some water | :06:32. | :06:37.
to wash their face. After that, they were helping themselves to the water | :06:38. | :06:40.
and I was calling the ambulance for them as well. I spoke to one of the | :06:41. | :06:45.
victims, 24 old Shakwat Hussain, and I managed to speak to him on his | :06:46. | :06:49.
phone from his hospital bed. He was shaken up but in good spirits and | :06:50. | :06:54.
said he was being taken good care. Today he is being transferred to a | :06:55. | :06:58.
specialist burns unit in Chelmsford. The most startling thing he said was | :06:59. | :07:07.
he was with a friend of his, they were driving along, someone they | :07:08. | :07:10.
knew flag sundown and as soon as he got close enough, he got acid in his | :07:11. | :07:13.
face. Acid attacks are becoming more common and more high profile sticky | :07:14. | :07:16.
in East London. In April, 20 people were hurt and to badly attacked. Two | :07:17. | :07:25.
weeks ago, five people were attacked in less than 90 minutes in Hackney. | :07:26. | :07:31.
And last night it was Bethnal Green and Bow. No wonder young people here | :07:32. | :07:35.
are feelings get. It is happening in areas that we're walking down the | :07:36. | :07:39.
street. You might be walking down the street 2pm, 5am, acid attack. | :07:40. | :07:44.
You check your phone, go on Twitter, you see a video of someone getting | :07:45. | :07:50.
attacked at a place where you just walked by ten minutes ago. It | :07:51. | :07:54.
could've been me, my mum, anyone. It is a problem and can happen to | :07:55. | :08:01.
anyone. While this new attack is new attention and promises of action, | :08:02. | :08:05.
those affected will wonder why more hasn't been done before. | :08:06. | :08:06.
You've been in touch with one of the victim's family. | :08:07. | :08:09.
When I spoke to them last night the family were in good spirits. I spoke | :08:10. | :08:17.
to one of the victims, Shakwat Hussain. I was surprised by how well | :08:18. | :08:21.
he sounded given circumstances. If I'm honest, speaking to them today, | :08:22. | :08:25.
the reality of what's happened to him is starting to sink in. His face | :08:26. | :08:30.
has swollen up, they've also taken a trip to the Chelmsford specialist | :08:31. | :08:35.
burns unit to get properly assessed and I think as the journey ahead | :08:36. | :08:41.
gets clearer for them, certainly I think the mood within the family is | :08:42. | :08:42.
changing. There was a lot of talk last week | :08:43. | :08:43.
about tackling acid attacks, and now another one, | :08:44. | :08:45.
how long before a changes are seen? We have seen some changes already. | :08:46. | :08:56.
You saw in the peace there that the fire service were attending acid | :08:57. | :08:59.
attacks. That is a new thing that has been brought in. The police now | :09:00. | :09:05.
carrying acid response kits, they include five litre bottles of water | :09:06. | :09:09.
to dowse victims. So important to get cold running water there | :09:10. | :09:14.
quickly. In terms of supply and demand of these corrosive liquids, | :09:15. | :09:18.
penalising and heavily regulating the people that supply them and | :09:19. | :09:22.
punishing the people who carry them, that requires a change in the law so | :09:23. | :09:26.
it will take longer. OK, thank you very much. | :09:27. | :09:27.
The future of some nurseries in London is looking uncertain | :09:28. | :09:30.
as they struggle to meet the government's promise | :09:31. | :09:32.
of free extra childcare for three and four-year-olds. | :09:33. | :09:33.
It's due to start in September but some nurseries say the financial | :09:34. | :09:36.
pressure of providing so many extra hours, | :09:37. | :09:38.
Tara Welsh reports from a nursery in Harlow. | :09:39. | :09:51.
It's an emotional day at this nursery in Harlow. After ten years | :09:52. | :09:59.
and four outstanding Ofsted ratings, it is closing its doors. Knowing two | :10:00. | :10:04.
of my children have had the most amazing experience that and my third | :10:05. | :10:07.
one won't get the opportunity to nurture and grow like the other two | :10:08. | :10:13.
did, it is just devastating. Three and four-year-olds are entitled to | :10:14. | :10:18.
15 hours free childcare week. From September, this goes up to 34 | :10:19. | :10:24.
parents earning up to ?100,000. Some say the government money already | :10:25. | :10:28.
falls short. The children have their funded hours in the morning and then | :10:29. | :10:32.
they buy additional hours in the afternoon that are priced at a | :10:33. | :10:35.
higher rate but if I have to give them 15 hours free in the morning | :10:36. | :10:40.
and 15 hours free in the afternoon, I am going to double my loss, so I | :10:41. | :10:45.
am losing 30 pounder child per week, then ?60 per child per week. I still | :10:46. | :10:49.
have to pay the staff the same rate, they haven't had a wage increase and | :10:50. | :10:57.
they earn around ?8 50 an hour. And myself are subsidising parents that | :10:58. | :11:01.
are earning up to ?200,000 a year and that just about says it all, | :11:02. | :11:05.
really. For the free care, the government pays an hourly rate to | :11:06. | :11:08.
childcare providers which is administered by the local authority. | :11:09. | :11:13.
In a statement, they told us it has put an extra ?1 billion into pay for | :11:14. | :11:18.
the extra hours and to raise that hourly rate. But many nurseries say | :11:19. | :11:22.
they are actually going to receive much less. Almost on a daily basis I | :11:23. | :11:28.
receive either telephone calls or letters that come from providers | :11:29. | :11:33.
that have been in business for ten, 20, 30, 40 years in their | :11:34. | :11:36.
communities and this is the last straw for them. The government said | :11:37. | :11:40.
the pilot had been a huge success and it will help many thousands of | :11:41. | :11:44.
hard-working parents but some hearsay it doesn't feel like it to | :11:45. | :11:51.
them. It isn't free. It hasn't been very clear, the guidelines, and it | :11:52. | :11:55.
is very complex. The last day of term means new schools or nurseries | :11:56. | :11:59.
for these youngsters. Fortunately, it is the end of her livelihood and | :12:00. | :12:01.
a year career. A man who's serving a life sentence | :12:02. | :12:04.
for the rape and murder of a teenage model has admitted attacking | :12:05. | :12:07.
two other women. 18-year-old Sally Anne Bowman | :12:08. | :12:11.
was repeatedly stabbed in Croydon Appearing via videolink | :12:12. | :12:13.
at Southwark Crown Court, Dixie admitted to another rape | :12:14. | :12:21.
and a further attack on a women, A businessman from North London has | :12:22. | :12:26.
been found guilty of being part of a conspiracy to pass off | :12:27. | :12:30.
horsemeat as beef. Inner London Crown Court heard | :12:31. | :12:35.
how Andronicos Sideras, one of the owners of Dinos and Sons | :12:36. | :12:38.
in Tottenham, mixed the meats before Two other men had already pleaded | :12:39. | :12:42.
guilty to their part in the plot. So there's a good chance you've | :12:43. | :12:48.
heard the news that new diesel and petrol cars are to be | :12:49. | :12:51.
banned from 2040. But what kind of an impact | :12:52. | :12:55.
will that have in London? Yes, it might give us cleaner air, | :12:56. | :12:57.
but can the city cope with having Katharine Carpenter might | :12:58. | :13:01.
be able to tell us. This new super fast charger | :13:02. | :13:08.
for electric cars was unveiled It cuts charging time from three | :13:09. | :13:10.
to four hours, to half an hour. 100 more are planned in the borough | :13:11. | :13:16.
but we're going to need a lot more of kit like this if the whole | :13:17. | :13:20.
of London is going to be driving According to TfL, there are already | :13:21. | :13:23.
1,600 electric cars here in the capital and around 8,000 | :13:24. | :13:28.
charging points but right now there So what's the priority in preparing | :13:29. | :13:32.
for that many electric cars? Stephen Quinn's had his since May | :13:33. | :13:39.
and says charging is key. I think it's just a question of | :13:40. | :13:54.
getting charging points in place. If you're installing charging points | :13:55. | :13:59.
from scratch, it's a tricky process with planning applications and all | :14:00. | :14:01.
that sort of stuff but if you're just installing a socket on the side | :14:02. | :14:05.
of a lamp post, it is a very simple thing to do. | :14:06. | :14:13.
But many here in the capital say this focus on electric cars | :14:14. | :14:16.
and a date 23 years away is a red herring and that today's Clean Air | :14:17. | :14:19.
Strategy from the government won't help our immediate | :14:20. | :14:22.
The Environment Secretary has pledged ?225 million for local | :14:23. | :14:28.
authorities to tackle their worst roads but City's Hall has | :14:29. | :14:31.
repeated its call for a diesel scrappage scheme in the capital | :14:32. | :14:34.
We think is targeting a couple of rows here and there isn't going to | :14:35. | :14:49.
be sufficient. If you look at London, we have multiple roads that | :14:50. | :14:53.
are breaching the pollution limits so you need an area approach and you | :14:54. | :14:55.
need the funding to tackle that. Finding a solution | :14:56. | :14:56.
and fast is pressing. Air pollution contributes | :14:57. | :14:58.
to 9,000 premature deaths Cars parked in private driveways | :14:59. | :15:00.
on a road in Gants Hill, have been regularly getting tickets | :15:01. | :15:11.
because the ends of their cars Residents are furious, | :15:12. | :15:13.
saying there's nothing they can do about it as the driveways | :15:14. | :15:21.
were constructed in the 1940s Helen Drew is on the street to tell | :15:22. | :15:24.
us and SHOW us the problem. This is what we're talking about | :15:25. | :15:40.
here. The car behind me is parked on the driver but the wheel is on the | :15:41. | :15:44.
pavement. And that is what is not allowed and that is where residents | :15:45. | :15:48.
have been getting fines. This car, whilst overhanging, has its wheel on | :15:49. | :15:52.
the driveway. That's OK. Why aren't people parking further on their | :15:53. | :15:58.
driveways? These driveways were not designed for modern cars and the | :15:59. | :16:01.
cars are parked as close to the front of the houses as they can be. | :16:02. | :16:05.
Residents are struggling to get their front doors open. I've been | :16:06. | :16:09.
speaking to many who cannot get their front doors open at all when | :16:10. | :16:13.
their car is parked entirely on their driveway and residents are | :16:14. | :16:19.
angry. It is totally crazy. I'd 5031 years and I've never heard this been | :16:20. | :16:23.
done in all 31 years. I feel disgusted. How can I say it? It is | :16:24. | :16:36.
not regular. It is irrational. It is also offensive. The council has said | :16:37. | :16:43.
to us that some residents are clearly obstructing the pavement so | :16:44. | :16:46.
we've got a tape measure and have come to the narrowest bit of | :16:47. | :16:50.
pavement we can find with the car with the biggest overhang and still | :16:51. | :16:54.
the clear bit of pavement is over 1.5 metres. The council in a | :16:55. | :16:58.
statement has said that residents have told us they are confused and | :16:59. | :17:03.
they will be working with them to offer advice to avoid them receiving | :17:04. | :17:07.
future fines. I'm joined now by the neighbourhood association chairman. | :17:08. | :17:12.
Thank you for joining us. They are talking about future fines but what | :17:13. | :17:16.
do you want to happen to existing fines? We'd like the fines returned | :17:17. | :17:19.
because they were unjustified and the first place. Most of them issued | :17:20. | :17:26.
two cars were for slightly over the driveway. The council responses | :17:27. | :17:34.
disappointing because it ignores representations that we have been | :17:35. | :17:37.
making. The one thing that is clear here that all residents who have | :17:38. | :17:42.
received fines fully intend to appeal them. OK, thanks very much, | :17:43. | :17:43.
Helen. Well, over one in ten women who die | :17:44. | :17:47.
within a year of giving Yet the mental health of pregnant | :17:48. | :17:50.
women and new mothers is something which isn't often talked about, | :17:51. | :17:54.
which is why a hospital in Paddington to trying | :17:55. | :17:57.
to change things. When Pippa fell pregnant, she says | :17:58. | :18:12.
she shouldn't have been happier. Her daughter was wanted, she was in a | :18:13. | :18:16.
happy, stable relationship so she couldn't understand why things were | :18:17. | :18:19.
so hard. I always thought being depressed was being sad and tired | :18:20. | :18:24.
and I was really angry and did have thoughts of not wanting to be here, | :18:25. | :18:28.
not because I didn't want to be here and be alive just because I didn't | :18:29. | :18:32.
feel like I could cope with all of it. There was one moment when I came | :18:33. | :18:43.
driving home and I wondered what it would be like if I crashed my car. | :18:44. | :18:46.
While postnatal depression is widely recognised, having mental health | :18:47. | :18:48.
problems when you are pregnant is just a bigger problem. One in five | :18:49. | :18:51.
women in the UK who have a baby will need mental help. It is the most | :18:52. | :18:54.
common side effect of pregnancy and it is dangerous. One in seven women | :18:55. | :18:57.
who die in the first year of their baby 's life will have killed | :18:58. | :19:01.
themselves. Why does no one talk about a? It makes you feel like | :19:02. | :19:06.
you're failing, it makes you feel like you are not being the mother | :19:07. | :19:11.
that your child deserves. And telling someone that, that is hard. | :19:12. | :19:16.
This woman needs a team at Saint Mary is hospital who treat pregnant | :19:17. | :19:20.
women and new mothers who have mental health problems. She wants to | :19:21. | :19:23.
get rid of the stigma stop and I'm finding it hard to get out of bed in | :19:24. | :19:28.
the morning. ?3 million grant means the centre can offer help to women | :19:29. | :19:36.
across boroughs. Abuse victims, new mums who can't bond with their baby. | :19:37. | :19:42.
This is a one-stop shop. It doesn't give women permission to become | :19:43. | :19:46.
unwell or to be honest about how unwell they can feel. Many women | :19:47. | :19:52.
have fear of childbirth or they might feel very strange with their | :19:53. | :19:57.
babies and these feelings are very difficult to disclose. Of a normal? | :19:58. | :20:03.
They are absolutely normal. 11 weeks old and the baby and mother have | :20:04. | :20:08.
nothing but love for each other. The secret is secure the signs early to | :20:09. | :20:10.
secure a happy future. This funding is great for patients | :20:11. | :20:11.
at St Mary's but what about those It is great news that five boroughs | :20:12. | :20:19.
now have this team of 20 people dealing with midwives who will go | :20:20. | :20:23.
out into the community to check women are OK, specialists dealing | :20:24. | :20:27.
with mothers bonding with babies but it is patchy. What people like that | :20:28. | :20:33.
Doctor are worried about is that women not being spotted. They want | :20:34. | :20:37.
more people being seen and the consequences for a woman not treated | :20:38. | :20:42.
early enough during her pregnancy can be catastrophic. That said, | :20:43. | :20:45.
there is a sense of relief that there is now an awareness that when | :20:46. | :20:49.
a woman falls pregnant, what she might be feeling or sensing might | :20:50. | :20:53.
not be part and parcel of just her pregnancy. There is a need now for | :20:54. | :20:58.
people to talk more about it. And if you are a woman and you are pregnant | :20:59. | :21:02.
and you don't feel as if everything is going perfectly, you can talk to | :21:03. | :21:07.
your midwife because they heard everything before. Or go to the BBC | :21:08. | :21:12.
action line website because what you are feeling might need dealing with. | :21:13. | :21:14.
OK, thank you. Five years ago tomorrow, | :21:15. | :21:19.
was the opening ceremony Before that, torch bearers | :21:20. | :21:21.
carried the Olympic Torch through the streets each | :21:22. | :21:24.
with their own unique story. John Lake from King's Cross was no | :21:25. | :21:26.
exception, and he tells us In 2012, I was nominated to carry | :21:27. | :21:29.
the torch with the Olympic flame. And, following the surgery | :21:30. | :21:36.
from that, I got very severe depression and I got suicidal, | :21:37. | :21:47.
and I got sectioned in 2006. As I was waiting for the torch, | :21:48. | :21:51.
what went through my mind One thing I found that really | :21:52. | :21:54.
made me feel better was exercise. Running and getting the endorphins | :21:55. | :22:07.
flowing through the system would lift my mood so I did | :22:08. | :22:11.
the London Marathon in 2007, for the brain research trust, | :22:12. | :22:14.
and then, the year after that, I went to see Usain Bolt | :22:15. | :22:17.
do a 200 metre heat, So I'd been watching | :22:18. | :22:28.
all the field events, You know, the high jump and the long | :22:29. | :22:32.
jump, and all that sort of stuff. And, then, when Usain Bolt came in, | :22:33. | :22:37.
the whole stadium stood up. The buzz was absolutely incredible | :22:38. | :22:39.
and he won, of course. But it was mad to be seeing that | :22:40. | :22:42.
and to be a part of that. I think it's good for him | :22:43. | :22:47.
to get back on the track. Looking on five years back, | :22:48. | :22:52.
I feel like I've made I'm now a qualified | :22:53. | :22:55.
mental health counsellor. My commitment to exercise is still | :22:56. | :22:57.
there because I still like to get out and run because it makes me feel | :22:58. | :23:01.
mentally better, Real journey, to look back and see | :23:02. | :23:03.
how far I've come since 2012, yeah. When play gets under way tomorrow | :23:04. | :23:14.
between England and South Africa, the Oval Cricket Ground | :23:15. | :23:16.
in South London will have scored It'll become only the fourth venue | :23:17. | :23:19.
in the world to have Chris Slegg has been | :23:20. | :23:24.
looking back at some From all over London, | :23:25. | :23:29.
people are trying to squeeze in here to see the climax | :23:30. | :23:32.
of this prodigious innings. The crowds have been | :23:33. | :23:35.
watching test match cricket Tomorrow, they'll do | :23:36. | :23:37.
so for the 100th time as England take on South Africa beneath | :23:38. | :23:40.
the famous gas holders. The weather will determine how much | :23:41. | :23:43.
play we actually get to see as the Oval joins a short | :23:44. | :23:46.
and illustrious list of centurions. They are the only venues to have | :23:47. | :23:50.
already reached that landmark. It was at the Oval in 1882 that | :23:51. | :24:00.
English cricket was said to have In 1938, it was the scene | :24:01. | :24:03.
of Len Hutton's knock of 364 More recently came the Ashes | :24:04. | :24:09.
clinching moments of 2005 and 2009. As test match venues go, | :24:10. | :24:17.
the Oval somehow breaks the mould. I don't think the atmosphere has | :24:18. | :24:22.
changed, even if you look back through old additions of Wisden, | :24:23. | :24:24.
you can see articles written by players, talking about injuring | :24:25. | :24:27.
the boisterous crowds at the Oval. And their's something very, | :24:28. | :24:31.
very South London about this place. When you come to the Oval, | :24:32. | :24:33.
you come as you are, It's very relaxed, | :24:34. | :24:36.
and everyone has a good time. A man who's sampled many of those | :24:37. | :24:41.
good times is former Surrey What does this occasion mean to join | :24:42. | :24:43.
Lords and Melbourne and Sydney on this list of venues to have | :24:44. | :24:50.
hosted 100 test matches? It's massive, it really is and I'm | :24:51. | :24:53.
really pleased that Surrey have made a big thing about it because it's | :24:54. | :24:56.
something they should be really proud of and should literally be | :24:57. | :24:59.
shouting from the rooftops. So I just hope that the game, | :25:00. | :25:01.
the quality of the game, matches what the occasion is, | :25:02. | :25:05.
which is 100 test matches May it be there for many test | :25:06. | :25:23.
matches! Let's find out the weather for that test match. | :25:24. | :25:26.
It looks like they will be fighting the weather tomorrow, a bit like | :25:27. | :25:31.
today where we had a bit of a mix, some rain, grey conditions but | :25:32. | :25:34.
brighter skies to finish the day. It sums up the rest of the week and | :25:35. | :25:38.
into the weekend with a mixture of sunshine and showers. Still a few | :25:39. | :25:45.
spots of rain tonight, then overnight partly clear skies. | :25:46. | :25:53.
Outside the M25, getting down to 9-10, though most sitting in the | :25:54. | :25:57.
teams Thursday morning. Tomorrow morning, the best part of the day. | :25:58. | :26:00.
There will be some cloud here and there which will build up even | :26:01. | :26:05.
further through the morning, by lunchtime there will be showers | :26:06. | :26:08.
pushing across and some of those could be heavy and sundry but enough | :26:09. | :26:15.
of a breeze to push on. A little bit more pleasant with the sunshine and | :26:16. | :26:19.
those showers could be on the heavy side as we hit the rush-hour but | :26:20. | :26:23.
they will depart. Through Thursday and into Friday, it should become | :26:24. | :26:28.
dry with temperatures summer to tonight. Friday, best part of the | :26:29. | :26:37.
day in the morning but after a sunny start, cloud increases, outbreaks of | :26:38. | :26:41.
rain. You are more likely to get wet on this day. Some of this rain will | :26:42. | :26:47.
be on the heavy side. It might feel a little bit cooler than it does | :26:48. | :26:51.
tomorrow. The rain will last into the first part of Friday night, | :26:52. | :26:55.
works its way off near the continent so after a grey start on Saturday, | :26:56. | :27:00.
brightening up quickly with some isolated showers. It will be dry | :27:01. | :27:04.
with some sunshine for most of the afternoon. On Sunday, it depends how | :27:05. | :27:07.
close this weather front is to us. If it is just over the English | :27:08. | :27:12.
Channel, it will do us a favour. It will suppress the showers. We will | :27:13. | :27:19.
keep you updated. But as conditions through Friday afternoon and into | :27:20. | :27:23.
Friday night but as for tomorrow, grab your umbrella and tried to | :27:24. | :27:26.
dodge the showers if you can. OK, thanks very much for that. | :27:27. | :27:34.
That's it, join me again at 10:30pm, with our top story about one of the | :27:35. | :27:38.
terrorist attack is making violent threats months before he carried out | :27:39. | :27:44.
the deadly attack in Borough market. Have a good evening. Goodbye. | :27:45. | :27:47. |
