That's all from the BBC News at Six,

so it's goodbye from me -

0:00:000:00:00

Coming up on the programme

this Friday night:

0:00:020:00:04

There's a surge in young Londoners

buying tranquilisers and drugs

0:00:040:00:07

online to deal with anxiety,

stress and panic disorders.

0:00:070:00:17

She went from being a normally

behave to teenager to just being a

0:00:180:00:24

completely different person. I

didn't recognise the person I was

0:00:240:00:26

living with.

0:00:260:00:28

So an NHS clinic has now

opened in west London

0:00:280:00:30

to help those addicted.

0:00:310:00:31

Also tonight...

0:00:310:00:32

The men who carried out

the London Bridge terror

0:00:320:00:34

attack claiming eight lives

are all found to have had

0:00:340:00:37

steroids in their systems.

0:00:370:00:38

The one on the left is no

longer legal tender

0:00:380:00:40

but Londoners are still being forced

to use the old one pound coin

0:00:400:00:43

in an area of west London

if they want to park.

0:00:430:00:46

And how London's last herd of shire

horses are ploughing

0:00:460:00:49

the way for preserving a rare type

of wheat in Lambeth.

0:00:490:00:54

Good evening.

0:01:030:01:05

I'm Asad Ahmad.

0:01:050:01:10

There has been a surge in the number

of young people buying

0:01:100:01:14

tranquillisers and other drugs

online to deal with anxiety and

0:01:140:01:17

stress. So many that it has led to

the NHS opening its first dedicated

0:01:170:01:24

clinic in west London to deal with

the problem. Just this week, we

0:01:240:01:29

reported how six schoolgirls from

south London were taken to hospital

0:01:290:01:33

after apparently taking prescription

drugs. But other drugs, including

0:01:330:01:37

one known as Xanax, which are not

readily available in the UK, are

0:01:370:01:42

being bought on the web. Caroline

Davies has spoken to a mother who

0:01:420:01:47

witnessed a radical change in her

teenage daughter after she ordered

0:01:470:01:51

Xanax online.

0:01:510:01:56

She was really intelligent, good

grades, never got into trouble,

0:01:560:01:59

ever. She went from a normally

behave to teenager to being a

0:01:590:02:04

completely different person. I

didn't recognise the person I was

0:02:040:02:06

living with.

This woman found out

last year that her daughter was

0:02:060:02:13

taking Xanax, a medicine prescribed

by anxiety. Like a worrying number

0:02:130:02:17

of teenagers and young people, her

daughter took it without a

0:02:170:02:20

prescription. She was 14.

It was

like she was really drunk. When the

0:02:200:02:26

effects were wearing off, she would

get angry, aggressive, violent. She

0:02:260:02:31

said it was good fun. And then she

said she was doing it because it

0:02:310:02:36

made her feel better.

Highly

addictive, Xanax is also known by

0:02:360:02:42

another name, and is a

tranquilliser, up to 20 times

0:02:420:02:45

stronger than Valium. In America it

is well-known and sang about in rap

0:02:450:02:50

songs. But its dangers are also well

documented. It is illegal in the UK

0:02:500:02:57

unless you have a prescription, but

there are worries more Londoners are

0:02:570:03:01

buying it and other prescription

medicine online, which is why the

0:03:010:03:06

NHS have funded a clinic in Earls

Court to tackle the problem.

They

0:03:060:03:09

are prescription medicines for a

reason, because they do have arms if

0:03:090:03:14

they are taken inappropriately.

Secondly, when people buy medicine

0:03:140:03:18

online, they assume they are getting

pharmaceutically pure medication but

0:03:180:03:22

there are lots of websites selling

counterfeit medicines.

One London MP

0:03:220:03:27

is campaigning to raise awareness

about the drug and why young people

0:03:270:03:30

take it.

Xanax, young people are

taking it to cope with the stress

0:03:300:03:37

and pressure of life.

The government

told us law enforcement agencies

0:03:370:03:44

continue to work to shut down

UK-based websites found to be

0:03:440:03:48

selling the drugs illegally, and

that they are taking strong action

0:03:480:03:51

to prevent the harm caused by drugs.

This woman's daughter was eventually

0:03:510:03:58

excluded from school and has now

stopped taking Xanax.

The drug

0:03:580:04:03

completely changes your personality.

Because she is not doing it now,

0:04:030:04:07

things are better, looking brighter.

If you asked her what she would do

0:04:070:04:11

now she would say, no, don't do it,

don't take it, it ruins your life.

0:04:110:04:20

That's our top story

this Friday evening,

0:04:200:04:21

but lots more still to come

on the programme, including this.

0:04:210:04:31

It was home to Britain's best-known

programmes and is now Television

0:04:340:04:37

Centre is set to become home to over

1000 residents.

0:04:370:04:43

The men who carried out last year's

terror attack on London Bridge

0:04:430:04:46

which claimed eight lives

were all found to have steroids

0:04:460:04:48

in their system when they died.

0:04:480:04:50

Khuram Butt, Rachid Redouane

and Youssef Zaghba, all from London,

0:04:500:04:53

drove into pedestrians and stabbed

others in June.

0:04:530:04:56

Tom Symonds is here now.

0:04:560:05:06

Tell us about this.

The police have

been carrying out a major

0:05:060:05:10

investigation even though the

attackers were all shot dead within

0:05:100:05:13

nine minutes of the police arriving.

The investigation continues, and

0:05:130:05:18

they have gathered witness evidence,

CCTV evidence, reconstructing the

0:05:180:05:22

way the van was driven into a crowd

on London Bridge. Firearms analysis.

0:05:220:05:27

And finally toxicology results from

the bodies of those three attackers.

0:05:270:05:31

We heard today at the inquest that a

substance which is a steroid hormone

0:05:310:05:39

was found in their systems. The

coroner will be looking more closely

0:05:390:05:44

at that and probably getting some

expert reports as well. He also said

0:05:440:05:50

that he will be looking at what the

intelligence services knew about

0:05:500:05:54

these three men, in particular

Khuram Butt, who had been under

0:05:540:05:57

investigation since 2015, for about

two years. That will be a key part

0:05:570:06:03

of being quests.

When did they take

place?

Because police are

0:06:030:06:10

investigating, the inquests have to

wait. There will be two inquests

0:06:100:06:14

starting in 2019, firstly looking at

the deaths of those eight people on

0:06:140:06:20

the bridge and in Borough market,

and secondly in a separate inquest

0:06:200:06:24

because the families want it that

way, looking at the death of the

0:06:240:06:29

attackers.

Thank you.

0:06:290:06:39

London's schools are facing

pressures when it comes to retaining

0:06:390:06:42

staff and rising costs. Today, we

were looking at how schools managed

0:06:420:06:50

to outperform the rest of the

country in London. Here is our

0:06:500:06:54

political correspondent Karl Mercer.

It was maths for these

0:06:540:06:59

nine-year-olds and the man who came

to see them this morning. Damian

0:06:590:07:05

Hines is the new Education

Secretary, out and about today to

0:07:050:07:09

find out why London schools perform

better than anywhere else in the

0:07:090:07:11

country. He has much to get to grips

with. Schools in the capital might

0:07:110:07:19

be performing well, but all are

facing challenges of recruiting and

0:07:190:07:23

keeping staff, and of funding, with

budgets not rising as fast as costs.

0:07:230:07:29

Every headteacher in London will

tell you they do not have enough

0:07:290:07:31

money and their budget is going to

be cut.

Schools funding is going up,

0:07:310:07:37

but I recognise what you say about

the cost pressures that schools have

0:07:370:07:40

been facing and continue to face.

That is why we are putting

0:07:400:07:44

additional focus on helping schools,

to see what we can do to help manage

0:07:440:07:48

those budgets, particularly in the

part of the budget which is not

0:07:480:07:53

staff costs. Most of the cost of

schools is employing people to teach

0:07:530:07:58

the children, which is the core

business. But there are other things

0:07:580:08:01

that may be more can be done to help

manage those costs.

Despite the

0:08:010:08:07

challenges it faces, this is a high

performing school with technology at

0:08:070:08:11

its heart, but it faces the money

and staffing problems faced by most

0:08:110:08:14

London schools.

We have lots of

training teachers in our school, and

0:08:140:08:19

one of the biggest issues for them

is the amount of money they earn and

0:08:190:08:23

how much they have left after they

have paid colossal rent and had to

0:08:230:08:28

pay their travel to get to work. The

amount of money they have left at

0:08:280:08:32

the end of the month will not get

them very far.

Would more money from

0:08:320:08:38

government help?

Everybody would

like more money.

Questions over

0:08:380:08:42

funding and staffing will loom large

for the new man in charge. So will

0:08:420:08:46

those over the future of grammar

schools but he would not be drawn on

0:08:460:08:50

that today, nor tempted to say the

word when I asked him if he wanted

0:08:500:08:54

more of them.

I'm a fan of good

schools, schools that parents want

0:08:540:08:59

to send children to, and I am a fan

of making sure that as many children

0:08:590:09:02

as possible can get to go to a good

or outstanding school and get as

0:09:020:09:06

much as they can out of their

education. We don't have a single

0:09:060:09:09

type of school in this country. We

have all sorts of different types of

0:09:090:09:13

schools and we need to make sure we

have good provision and places in

0:09:130:09:17

all those schools.

You gave that

whole answer without mentioning

0:09:170:09:21

grammar once.

Grammar is an

important part of the school

0:09:210:09:27

curriculum, as you know!

He would

not be drawn on that, but soon

0:09:270:09:30

enough he and the government will

have to be. A man from south-east

0:09:300:09:39

London who claimed his wife and son

were killed in the Grenfell Tower in

0:09:390:09:42

June has been jailed for 21 months.

Ahn Nhu Nguyen hoped that his lie

0:09:420:09:47

would profit him thousands of pounds

from the victim relief fund.

0:09:470:09:54

Describing his escape from the fire

at Grenfell Tower, Ahn Nhu Nguyen

0:09:540:09:58

went on national television to tell

his story.

0:09:580:10:01

The 53-year-old told police that he

and his family wrapped themselves in

0:10:200:10:24

sheets and towels as they tried to

escape from the 15th floor. None of

0:10:240:10:30

it was true. Meeting royalty in the

aftermath, he lived in hotels,

0:10:300:10:34

received laptops, a mobile phone and

around £11,500. But within weeks it

0:10:340:10:39

became clear that his story was

fabricated.

It was extremely

0:10:390:10:44

elaborate. It was to many news

outlets, and he elaborated each

0:10:440:10:50

time, getting more complex, saying

he had lost his wife and his son,

0:10:500:10:54

and describing the horror he faced

as he was leaving the tower, which

0:10:540:10:58

was completely untrue.

The court was

given a psychiatric report which

0:10:580:11:04

found Ahn Nhu Nguyen was suffering

from untreated mental health

0:11:040:11:09

problems, including post-traumatic

stress disorder and depression. The

0:11:090:11:13

judge said whatever the state of his

mental health, Ahn Nhu Nguyen knew

0:11:130:11:16

exactly what he was doing, not only

taking advantage of the public's

0:11:160:11:21

general city, but also those who

gave up their time to come and help

0:11:210:11:24

in the days following the fire.

It

is certainly appalling. I think

0:11:240:11:29

anybody that takes the opportunity

of the chaos and tragedy that took

0:11:290:11:34

place at Grenfell Tower in June last

year for their own gain is truly

0:11:340:11:40

appalling. I think those words are

appropriate.

Ahn Nhu Nguyen was

0:11:400:11:46

sentenced to 21 months in prison and

is expected to serve half of that.

0:11:460:11:50

As he has already served seven

months, it is likely he will be

0:11:500:11:54

released in May, one month before

the first anniversary of the

0:11:540:11:58

tragedy.

0:11:580:11:59

You're watching BBC

London News on BBC One.

0:11:590:12:01

Nice to have you with us.

0:12:010:12:02

This is what's coming up before 7pm.

0:12:020:12:10

There has been more ploughing than

playing at Ruskin Park in south

0:12:100:12:14

London. Find out why later in the

programme.

0:12:140:12:18

And we will be storing one of the

oldest rivalries in international

0:12:180:12:22

sport, as England and Wales meet

here in the capital, both looking to

0:12:220:12:26

build on their winning start to the

Six Nations.

0:12:260:12:30

For decades, BBC Television Centre

in west London was home

0:12:330:12:36

to some of the nations

best loved programmes.

0:12:360:12:38

But it all came to an end

and the site was sold

0:12:380:12:42

to make way for a housing

and leisure development.

0:12:420:12:45

It's now opening to the public

with around half of nearly

0:12:450:12:49

a thousand flats completed,

and some of the old magic is set

0:12:490:12:52

to return to the studios too.

0:12:520:12:58

In this building, over 4000 people

work to make television programmes.

0:13:040:13:09

For 50 years, Television Centre in

White city was the home of the BBC.

0:13:090:13:12

From Blue Peter to the record

breakers, and old Grey Whistle test,

0:13:120:13:23

many classic shows were recorded

here. It closed five years ago and

0:13:230:13:28

after years of redevelopment it is

reopening, now housing nearly 1000

0:13:280:13:33

flats, a gym, shops, restaurants and

an exclusive members club. But it is

0:13:330:13:38

still a Television Centre. Three

refurbished television studios will

0:13:380:13:42

be used to record shows, including

Graham Norton and daytime ITV

0:13:420:13:47

programmes.

We have done a lot of

upgrading of the wiring, the

0:13:470:13:51

technology, the flooring, the

seating. In actual box has remained

0:13:510:13:56

very similar.

For the architects,

working with an iconic existing

0:13:560:14:01

building presented challengers but

also opportunities.

We recreated the

0:14:010:14:04

original Windows, using the panels

inside of the black static ones. We

0:14:040:14:14

repositioned the original statue in

the middle of the fountain. One of

0:14:140:14:17

my favourite part is the stage door,

which will be the new entrance for

0:14:170:14:21

the apartments. How we have managed

to restore the original assets, it

0:14:210:14:27

has come together in a strong and

vibrant way.

But there is quite the

0:14:270:14:32

price tag to live in the building.

£650,000 for the cheapest

0:14:320:14:37

one-bedroom flat. Apartments are

limited to one per buyer.

Pricing

0:14:370:14:44

the local community out.

This is one

of the local people invited to look

0:14:440:14:49

around the development. What did she

make of it?

Nice to come in and see

0:14:490:14:54

it. It is lovely and makes the place

look better. White city was a bit

0:14:540:14:59

dreary before. You would not really

stop, apart from Westfield coming

0:14:590:15:02

in. But I would not say this is for

the community.

The developers say

0:15:020:15:08

140 of the flats will be affordable,

sold at 25% of the market rates to

0:15:080:15:14

those living or working in the area

for five years.

We try to keep the

0:15:140:15:19

prices at a sensible level, within

reach for as many Londoners as

0:15:190:15:23

possible.

You think 650,000 is that?

It is a big call for people. You

0:15:230:15:32

need at least two incomes to do that

and some equity at the start, in

0:15:320:15:36

London.

Despite the cost, the flats

are proving popular. Around 6000

0:15:360:15:43

people will eventually live and work

among these corridors. Many who have

0:15:430:15:46

bought them say they want to be" to

history, as the old Television

0:15:460:15:51

Centre gets a new lease of life.

0:15:510:16:04

The old round £1 coin went out of

circulation, but you have to use it

0:16:040:16:08

in one area if you want to pay for

parking in cash. The fact that it is

0:16:080:16:13

no longer legal tender means it's

causing confusion and local

0:16:130:16:16

businesses say they are the ones

losing out. Charlotte Franks has

0:16:160:16:20

more. This woman runs a dental

practice and many offer patients

0:16:200:16:29

rely on the nearby parking bays but

there is an issue with the parking

0:16:290:16:32

meters and it is all because of this

coin. Many metres near the dental

0:16:320:16:37

surgery only accept the old £1 coin,

which is out of circulation.

It is

0:16:370:16:44

resulting in stress for patients.

They will come in and ask if we can

0:16:440:16:49

help them, whether we had any old

pound coins and then obviously, if

0:16:490:16:54

they do have the treatment done and

they cannot pay

0:16:540:17:07

for their parking, they then stress

about a traffic warden giving them a

0:17:090:17:12

ticket.

The old £1 coins stopped

been legal tender on the 16th of

0:17:120:17:15

October last year but despite this,

many party machines in Hammersmith

0:17:150:17:17

and Fulham have not been converted.

I will put in the new £1 coin and

0:17:170:17:20

sure enough, it does not accept the

new £1 coin. It is extraordinary

0:17:200:17:23

incompetence from the Labour council

here, the large number of businesses

0:17:230:17:26

whose customers are complaining and

businesses themselves getting five,

0:17:260:17:31

it has caused huge disruption.

In

order to try and solve the issue,

0:17:310:17:36

the council installed additional

machines that only accept credit

0:17:360:17:39

cards but you can also pay via an

app or a phone or coins, as long as

0:17:390:17:44

you have the right ones. One local

0:17:440:17:57

resident said her sister has stopped

parking in the area altogether.

0:18:050:18:07

Because the machines have changed

and she cannot get the old coins in,

0:18:070:18:10

now they have done away with the

other Quins, she has not got the

0:18:100:18:13

bank then, she does not have a clue

with it, she is getting on and she

0:18:130:18:16

does not come down. They did not put

the new meters and quick enough and

0:18:160:18:19

the old £1 coins ran out and only

the old meters were still going and

0:18:190:18:22

people were getting tickets and they

do not have the old money to buy the

0:18:220:18:25

tickets.

The council told the BBC in

October that they would have the

0:18:250:18:27

machines converted later in the year

but today they said, 85% of all

0:18:270:18:30

parking payments are neither made by

our phone app, are party machines

0:18:300:18:32

take hard and contactless payments

and the few remaining machines

0:18:320:18:44

taking the old £1 coins will soon be

removed. When that will happen, we

0:18:460:18:49

do not know but if you're parking in

the borough it might be time to

0:18:490:18:52

check down the back of the sofa for

some old coins if that is the way

0:18:520:18:56

you plan to pay for it. If there is

a similar problem where you live, do

0:18:560:18:58

let us know.

0:18:580:18:59

Now for a rugby union rivalry

steeped in tradition.

0:18:590:19:01

Since they first played each other

in 1881, fixtures between England

0:19:010:19:03

and Wales have been full of drama.

0:19:030:19:05

Tomorrow the sides meet

again at Twickenham,

0:19:050:19:07

with Wales determined

to dent their host's chances of

0:19:070:19:09

winning the Six Nations yet again.

0:19:090:19:10

Chris Slegg has more.

0:19:100:19:13

It was England who came out on top

when the sides met in Cardiff last

0:19:130:19:16

year. Victory spurring them onto a

successful defence of their Six

0:19:160:19:22

Nations title. Before the battle,

the talk has been of bottle, with

0:19:220:19:27

Eddie Jones questioning whether Rhys

Patchell has enough of it.

He has

0:19:270:19:33

not played much test rugby at all,

he is a young guy who does not have

0:19:330:19:38

great experience players around him,

he will have rather shot at him and

0:19:380:19:44

feral -- Farrell, so the pressure on

him is going to be immense. It is

0:19:440:19:50

whether he has the bottle to handle

it.

At the world rugby Museum inside

0:19:500:19:58

Twickenham Stadium, the history of

the sport is celebrated like nowhere

0:19:580:20:01

else. It seems England and Wales

have always had the knack of getting

0:20:010:20:05

underneath each other's skin.

This

belong to a Gloucester player who

0:20:050:20:10

played for England in the 1920s

which was a successful period for

0:20:100:20:14

England. He was a flanker, he

relatives -- relish the competent

0:20:140:20:18

side of the game. He played with a

smile on his face. The Welsh, who

0:20:180:20:25

were not as successful called him

the Grinning Menace.

Also on

0:20:250:20:32

display, one of the 77 England

shirts previously worn by Danny

0:20:320:20:36

Care. Tomorrow the Harlequins man

pulls on his 78, making him Inglot's

0:20:360:20:41

was capped scrum-half of all time,

an achievement very much played down

0:20:410:20:46

by his captain.

They do not think he

is counting. He is not counting

0:20:460:20:50

games, the next game is the most

important. I am sure he wants to do

0:20:500:20:55

himself and the team proud and put

in a good performance for the team.

0:20:550:20:59

By this time tomorrow, whether it be

England or Wales reflecting on

0:20:590:21:04

victory? You will love this next

story. The rarest type of weight is

0:21:040:21:12

to be grown in a park in Lambeth

with the help of London's last heard

0:21:120:21:16

of Shire horses and they are

actually more rare than the giant

0:21:160:21:20

panda. I know this sounds made up

but it is true. If all that was not

0:21:200:21:24

enough, the weight will then be used

to make flour in London's only

0:21:240:21:29

working mill. I will leave it to

Thomas McGill to tell you more.

0:21:290:21:34

Arriving for a very different day at

work, meet knobby and he is. Two of

0:21:340:21:41

the capital's last work in Sharon

horses in south London today on a

0:21:410:21:45

very special mission.

They are

planting a selection of old British

0:21:450:21:49

weights and that includes such

things as red llamas, with the help

0:21:490:21:55

of these shire horses...

Andrew

Forbes loves wheat, so much so he is

0:21:550:22:00

keen to save some of our rarest

strains, many on the verge of

0:22:000:22:04

extinction.

It is a very rare

commodity at the moment and we think

0:22:040:22:08

it needs to be coming back into

cultivation for the benefit of

0:22:080:22:12

organic farming, for the benefit of

the bread that weird.

And so it is

0:22:120:22:21

after, this rare breed doing its

best to save some of our older

0:22:210:22:24

suite, an honour for the horses and

their operator Tom Nixon who says

0:22:240:22:28

using traditions -- but the

traditional farming methods, will

0:22:280:22:34

guarantee great results.

These

choruses, you will get a much better

0:22:340:22:40

crop of weight, a bigger wheat seed,

you will have less weed problems

0:22:400:22:44

because you will not have drainage

issues, so it is a natural thing to

0:22:440:22:50

do, is use the horses.

You see the

graves there are? That is what turns

0:22:500:22:54

into the new plan.

For some local

children today was also a chance for

0:22:540:23:00

them to do their bit and plant the

first of what is hoped will be a

0:23:000:23:05

bumper crop. All this ploughing can

be hungry work. As I was saying.

0:23:050:23:14

This rare Wheatsheaf and these

beautiful shire horses have more in

0:23:140:23:19

common than you think, both familiar

sights in London and the surrounding

0:23:190:23:24

areas, both on the cusp of

disappearing for good.

Another

0:23:240:23:28

familiar sight in any large town is

the great brewer strays who is four

0:23:280:23:32

tonne loads are John Barrowman Vasin

shire horses.

Once the backbone of

0:23:320:23:38

London, used to pull goods and

people around the city but these

0:23:380:23:40

days life is a bit more laid-back

for Italy's horses. But if Andrew's

0:23:400:23:45

wheat starts grow and grow, they

could be the verge of getting a lot

0:23:450:23:51

bigger. That could only happen in

London.

0:23:510:23:56

Pedestrians in west London had

a lucky escape this week

0:23:560:23:58

when a large block of ice fell

from the sky onto a street.

0:23:580:24:01

A security camera caught the moment

the block landed in Kew just

0:24:010:24:04

after 9am on Wednesday morning.

0:24:040:24:05

It narrowly missed a street cleaner.

0:24:050:24:07

The road is under the Heathrow

flight path, and it's thought

0:24:070:24:09

the ice fell from a plane.

0:24:090:24:13

Now the weather with Matt Taylor.

0:24:160:24:19

You may see the odd snowflake later,

but still there is ice coming

0:24:270:24:32

tonight, forming on the ground as

they go into a chilly night. Let us

0:24:320:24:36

look at what has been happening, you

can see the sun setting in Bromley,

0:24:360:24:41

clear skies on the way and here they

are on the satellite, clear skies

0:24:410:24:46

moving and across London tonight

which will lead to quite a chilly

0:24:460:24:49

night. The cloud across Essex and

Kent is continuing to thin and brake

0:24:490:24:54

and under clear skies, watch out

from the West have a twinkly frost

0:24:540:24:58

starts to appear on our weather map,

just about everyone will see frost

0:24:580:25:02

on the ground, by the time we hit

the morning, you could see

0:25:020:25:06

temperatures as low as -5 or -6 to

get your weekend

0:25:060:25:19

underway. A chilly start to the

Wigan but a lovely bright and sunny

0:25:240:25:27

one, quickly melting the frost,

enjoy the morning sunshine because

0:25:270:25:29

quite quickly, cloud will increase

and into the afternoon, there could

0:25:290:25:31

be some rain. Bear that in mind if

you're going to Twickenham. The

0:25:310:25:34

temperatures are lifting up by the

end of the afternoon, around nine or

0:25:340:25:36

10 degrees. As we go into Saturday

night, heavier and more persistent

0:25:360:25:39

rain, strong to gale-force winds,

that will clear way, the wettest

0:25:390:25:41

part of the weekend will be the

night-time, winds on Sunday, lots of

0:25:410:25:47

sunshine, some isolated showers

pushing down on the breeze, they

0:25:470:25:50

will be of sleet or snow but for

much of Sunday, dry and sunny day,

0:25:500:25:54

it will feel cold in the wind.

Sunday night into Monday, winds

0:25:540:26:01

coming in from the general

Northwest, could be a frosty start

0:26:010:26:06

to the new working with a local

pressure system starting to gather

0:26:060:26:10

in the West. For half term, we start

off on a cold note, we will see wet

0:26:100:26:15

and windy weather and temperature

slowly climbing up but at least it

0:26:150:26:20

will not be a wash-out. Thank you.

0:26:200:26:25

Before we go this evening,

a brief re-cap of the day's main

0:26:250:26:28

BBC news headlines.

0:26:280:26:28

There are calls for two

men from west London -

0:26:280:26:31

who've been captured in Syria

and are believed to be fighters

0:26:310:26:34

for IS - to be put on trial.

0:26:340:26:35

questioned the UK's plans

0:26:390:26:42

for a transition period after Brexit

- saying it's "not a given".

0:26:420:26:46

Michel Barnier also warned that

"substantial disagreements"

0:26:460:26:47

still exist between the EU

and the UK.

0:26:470:26:54

for the Winter Olympics has taken

0:26:540:26:56

place in South Korea.

0:26:560:26:57

Those attending - included the most

senior North Korean delegation

0:26:570:26:59

ever to visit the South.

0:26:590:27:04

A surge in young people

buying tranquillisers

0:27:040:27:06

and other drugs online -

has led the NHS to open its first

0:27:060:27:09

dedicated clinic in West London

to deal with the problem.

0:27:090:27:13

It's in response to concern from

medical professionals and parents.

0:27:130:27:20

The men who carried out the terror

attack on

0:27:200:27:23

The men who carried out the terror

attack on London Bridge for all

0:27:230:27:24

found to have steroids in the system

when they died. The men, all from

0:27:240:27:30

0:27:300:27:32

That's it.
