A police incident is ongoing in Northolt this evening

after reports a man has barricaded himself inside his home that

The area has been in lockdown since 1am this morning.

Our reporter Ayshea Buksh is there now.

What more do we know? Well, in the last few minutes, the cordon has

been pushed even further back away from the property. We understand

that there is one man insidd, with what has been described as hazardous

items. Police were called hdre around midnight last night. As a

precaution, they evacuated `round 80 local residents out of their homes.

We are told it is not a terrorist related incident or linked hn any

way to any other ongoing investigations. Can you tell us what

more local people have been telling you today? There have been some

conflicting reports. And thd BBC spoke to someone who claimed to be

the man's cousin, who said that a family member had gone to the

property and had seen suspicious items and had alerted the police.

And they have been desperatdly trying to get hold of the m`n on his

telephone. Locals have said that they saw police starting to gather

early March evening in what appeared to be some sort of planned

operation. The man has been described as relatively quidt, with

four Rottweilers dogs. Scotland Yard say their priority is for this to

come to a safe conclusion. A murder investigation has been

launched after a man died outside a pub in north London

early this morning. Police were called to reports

of a stabbing outside the Jolly Anglers pub in Wood Green

shortly before 3:30am. The 33-year-old victim has been

named as Vincent Harvey. Meanwhile, a second murder

investigation is underway after the death of a man

in Shepherds Bush last night. The 28-year-old was discovered

at a property in Askew Road and was pronounced dead

at the scene. 72 firefighters were tackling

a blaze at a garage workshop on Lamb Lane

in Hackney this afternoon. Large plumes of smoke poured

from the car workshop as five cars were damaged along with an `djacent

three-floor office building. The fire is now under control

but crews are expected to bd at the scene damping

down for some time. Police are investigating

whether a passenger accidentally setting off a CS gas canistdr caused

the evacuation of City Airport The canister was found after around

500 people were evacuated It's thought the passenger

could have released 28 people were treated

after feeling unwell Five people have been taken

to hospital after a private double-decker party bus hit a bridge

in Tottenham early this morning 21 people were treated at the scene

and Scotland Yard said inquhries These were the scenes this lorning

as work began on removing the roof of the double-decker party bus that

had become wedged under a r`ilway bridge on St Loys Road just

after 4am this morning. Emergency services had to rdlease

three people who were trapped in the wreckage

and five were taken to hosphtal although their injuries werd not

thought to be serious. 21 people were treated

for their injuries at the scene The vehicle appeared to be

being used by party bus company Vault London, that hires out

the buses for private events with on-board cocktail

bars and DJ booths. No-one from Vault London

was available for comment Network Rail declared

the bridge safe Scotland Yard said

it was continuing to investigate the incident
