Hello. First this evening, a man's been arrested on suspicion of murder

after the death of teenager from stab wounds in Bedford. The stabbing

happened in Costin Street in the town centre at around 6:20pm

yesterday evening. The victim was 19 years old. A 20`year`old man is

being questioned. There is a lot of frantic activity over the last 24

hours. That will continue into this evening. We have a number of items

we have recovered we will be doing parental work with. There is a lot

of opportunity at the scene to continue with this inquiry.

A department store in Northampton had to be evacuated this lunchtime

after a woman wielding a knife threatened staff and police

officers. Police were called to the House of Fraser in the Grosvenor

Centre to reports of a woman causing damage to goods in the store. She

was eventually detained by officers who used a pepper spray. At first I

thought someone had knocked over a display or a shelf had fallen, then

I saw a woman who was shouting to herself and throwing bottles of

perfume and knocking over the displays. The security turned up.

She then pulled out a knife and continued to throw items.

The Prime Minister has given his support to the embattled Suffolk MP

Tim Yeo. In a letter, David Cameron said it would be "a great loss" if

his local party did not reselect him. Local members are currently

deciding whether Mr Yeo should be their candidate in next year's

general election. Next, the sudden storm that was over

in minutes but caused widespread damage. Parts of this region were

hit by what some are calling a mini`tornado yesterday evening. The

storm passed through very quickly but it left a trail of destruction.
