scene of a murder is being forensically examined. It w`s found

in Hawthorne Avenue where the victim was last seen on CCTV, having been

stabbed 16 times in broad d`ylight. Several police officers handcuffing

a man. It emerges that it is not connected to the murder enqtiries

but shows the force of the police and the heightened alert. All day in

this state has been flooded with officers, checkpoints, and

helicopters circling overhe`d. At lunchtime, a flurry of activity as a

knife is found in Hawthorne Avenue. A significant sighting, four this

beforehand there been a murder. Witnesses described a man as

following two females. Witndsses say that they think one of thosd females

could have been the victim. Today a fellow student spokd

publicly for the first time about when he found the body.
