Two teenagers have now died following a car crash in Essex.

One boy was pronounced dead at the scene and today a second

Both were passengers in a Ford Escort that crashed

The car was being pursued by police at the time.

Today a 16-year-old has appeared in court charged with causing

And in all day they came to pay their respects to two macro teenage

friends. The victim was named as Reagan Knight and Liam Phillips.

Reagan died this morning in hospital. Both were 17 years old.

Among those laying flowers was Reigan's friend Vinnie, supported by

his mother. Everyone loved him, honestly.

being followed by eight marked police car, it failed to stop. It

then hit a BMW at a junction, before crashing into a wall. Two at the

teenage boys injured in the crash were arrested at the scene. Today, a

police sniffer dog checked nearby streets. Because the police were

following the car, the case has been referred to the Independent Police

Complaints Commission. Today, a 16-year-old boy from great

causing death by dangerous driving and death by dangerous driving

whilst without a driving licence or insurance.

Today volunteers started dismantling the old furniture,

which will be shipped to Sierra Leone in the New Year.

The high school moves to new premises in January, and the old

buildings are being demolished, but the fixtures and fittings will be

saved and shipped out to West Africa.

Doors, desks, chairs, fridges, air conditioning units,

even toilets, will all be used to equip a brand-new school.

I think it is going to be good, because although we have the

Out of an old school comes a new school which will literally

transform the lives of so many children.

and we, by using what we are only going to

throw into landfill, we can build and provide facilities

and training programmes and really help people.

They are even talking about the students getting involved

afterwards to see what has happened with the

old bits of the school and where the school has gone to,

and what they are doing with it. I just think it is fantastic.

of the region overnight tonight, becoming more widespread as we go

through the night. We'll so have the hazard of icy patches of untreated

morning. We start the day with some mist and fog around, and much of it

is expected to linger through the morning, if not into the afternoon.
