today - social care. A new report says care homes in this

region have the highest number of staff vacancies than anywhere

in the country outside London. So how would the different political

parties deal with what's widely One of the Tories' big

councils is how to look after our The care sector is

struggling to retain staff. Our region has the second-highest

staff vacancy rate, Nationally, more than 300,000

adult social care workers That is equivalent to

928 people every day. One of the things we're doing

is making sure we have an increasing number of apprenticeships,

and last year 87,000 new apprenticeships started

in adult social care, a 37,000 increase

on the previous year. So there are lots of

steps we are taking. It's a really important area

here in Norfolk and nationally and we are also putting additional

in the sector. A career in adult social

care will give you more opportunities and satisfaction

funding to get some of the money that goes into overseas aid to bring

it back into the system so we can use it for our social services, both

at a dedicated NHS and care tax, we will know exactly where the money

is going, it will show on your pay packet it would be informed

local authorities are doing a poor But I think there
