The father of the man convicted of killing five sex workers

in Ipswich has urged his son to finally admit to the murders

It comes exactly ten years since the first woman disappeared.

Steve Wright has always protested his innocence.

It was ten years ago today that Tania Nicol vanished.

She was one of five sex workers plucked from the streets

and murdered by serial killdr Steve Wright.

This is London Road, where Steve Wright lived.

He was eventually convicted after a trial in 2008.

He is now serving a whole-life jail term.

But until this day, he has `lways denied the murders.

Today, his father Conrad Wrhght urged his son to admit the killings.

Those who lived in the town at the time would still

like Steve Wright to acknowledge the pain he caused the commtnity.

If he would just say, "I'm sorry, I did it."

It will not necessarily enable people to forgive or move on.

That is a very hard thing after things like that.

But it does help resolve sole of the issues surrounding grief

Overnight tonight, there is more mist and fog patches forming.

But still some transport disruption possible because of poor visibility.
