Hello and welcome to Tuesday's Look North.

:00:00.:00:08.

Tonight - The terrifying moment a partly demolished building

:00:09.:00:13.

It just looked on real, the scariest thing I've ever seen, thank God

:00:14.:00:22.

there were no cars or buses or things like this.

:00:23.:00:23.

Jailed - the man who held four people hostage

:00:24.:00:25.

Get tested: the message to women at the country's first

:00:26.:00:29.

cervical cancer roadshow - which came to the north today.

:00:30.:00:33.

Heavy metal - a north east bridge builder rolls out the longest

:00:34.:00:36.

And how students from 12 different countries have been celebrating

:00:37.:00:41.

In sport - a statement from Sunderland Football Club

:00:42.:00:46.

on the future of manager David Moyes.

:00:47.:00:49.

And we'll be joined, live in the studio, by one

:00:50.:00:52.

of our Para track stars - to start the countdown to next

:00:53.:00:55.

First tonight, drama in a city centre street in Newcastle which one

:00:56.:01:15.

eye witness described as the scariest thing

:01:16.:01:16.

The former Odeon cinema building on Pilgrim Street has been under

:01:17.:01:22.

But late last night the scaffolding around the front

:01:23.:01:27.

No-one was hurt but investigations are underway to try to establish

:01:28.:01:31.

Megan Paterson has been at the scene all day and has

:01:32.:01:35.

As you can see, what has halted at the sight of the former Odeon cinema

:01:36.:01:47.

in Newcastle. This is a busy part of the city centre and last thing

:01:48.:01:50.

people were walking down the street, waiting for buses nearby when the

:01:51.:01:54.

scaffolding supporting the front of the site collapsed, spilling rubble

:01:55.:01:58.

and dust and debris into the street. As you say, thankfully nobody was

:01:59.:02:01.

Hampshire last night but still for the people who saw and heard the

:02:02.:02:05.

collapse of that scaffolding, it was a frightening experience.

:02:06.:02:17.

Just after 11 o'clock last night, a rumble in the darkness, a tangle of

:02:18.:02:24.

scaffolding poles dust and rubble, allowed shock for those watching

:02:25.:02:31.

nearby. It just sounded like a scary noise in that sense. From this point

:02:32.:02:36.

of view, it looked unreal. It was the scariest thing I'd ever seen.

:02:37.:02:40.

Thank God there were no cars or buses or things like this. John

:02:41.:02:45.

Paul's been photographing the building's demolition from the

:02:46.:02:50.

studio next door and last night's footage was worrying and unexpected.

:02:51.:02:54.

As I together do I fell on my knees because I thought it was going to

:02:55.:02:56.

come through the window in that sense. I've never seen anything like

:02:57.:03:01.

that for myself. The dust everywhere, scaffolding and things

:03:02.:03:06.

and I think everybody was in shock for ages. Just after it happened.

:03:07.:03:12.

But then it felt like ages the guys were just out there straightaway to

:03:13.:03:19.

fix the situation. Thankfully last night no one was injured here but

:03:20.:03:21.

for the people standing just a few metres away on the opposite side of

:03:22.:03:25.

the road it was a very frightening near miss. One eyewitness described

:03:26.:03:29.

a group of white man underneath the building just moments before it

:03:30.:03:33.

collapsed. Today workers are back on sites dealing with the muddled mess

:03:34.:03:37.

left behind. The after match still of interest to passers-by. What led

:03:38.:03:40.

to the scaffolding collapse are still unclear here but the incident

:03:41.:03:44.

is being investigated by the Health and Safety Executive. The developer

:03:45.:03:49.

responsible for the site was not available for interview today but in

:03:50.:03:53.

a statement GDA said they were fully cooperating with the ongoing

:03:54.:03:58.

investigation. Engineers and surveyors from Newcastle City

:03:59.:04:00.

Council will all be involved, of the agencies keen to get to the bottom

:04:01.:04:04.

on this incident and make sure the near miss doesn't happen again.

:04:05.:04:12.

A nine-year-old boy who'd been reported missing from his home

:04:13.:04:18.

in Gateshead this morning was found safe and well...

:04:19.:04:20.

Josh Dinning's parents contacted police after not being able

:04:21.:04:23.

to find him when they went to wake him for school.

:04:24.:04:26.

Police launched a helicopter and mounted a river search -

:04:27.:04:30.

as well as searching the house and surrounding area.

:04:31.:04:32.

later Josh was found hiding in a drawer compartment

:04:33.:04:35.

Northumbria Police said they would be carrying out a review

:04:36.:04:41.

to try and find out why he was missed in

:04:42.:04:44.

A man who held four people hostage in a bookmakers has been

:04:45.:04:58.

Alastair Gallow was carrying an imitation sawn off shotgun

:04:59.:05:01.

and three knives when he took over the Coral bookmakers

:05:02.:05:03.

The area was sealed off by armed police and a three

:05:04.:05:07.

Well our News Correspondent Mark Denten is outside

:05:08.:05:10.

Mark, remind us what happened?

:05:11.:05:14.

, On January eight this year, Alastair Gallow walked into the

:05:15.:05:20.

Coral bookmakers in Jarrow holding to to all intents and purposes was a

:05:21.:05:28.

sawn off shotgun, the gun was not real but the four people inside the

:05:29.:05:31.

shop when not to know that. We were shown CCTV in court from the

:05:32.:05:37.

bookmakers and it shows Alastair Gallow walking into the bookmakers

:05:38.:05:39.

and the staff and customers putting their hands up in terror. One of

:05:40.:05:43.

them said, I thought I was going to die. At that point Alastair Gallow

:05:44.:05:49.

told the manager of the shop to trigger the panic alarm, he wanted

:05:50.:05:52.

that to happen because he wanted armed police to arrive at the scene.

:05:53.:05:58.

When did he repeatedly asked them to shoot him. A three-hour siege then

:05:59.:06:02.

institute during much Alastair Gallow gradually release the

:06:03.:06:05.

hostages that he was holding. But eventually came to an end when armed

:06:06.:06:11.

police stormed building, they arrested Alastair Gallow and

:06:12.:06:14.

examined the weapon that he apparently had and found out that at

:06:15.:06:18.

that point it was actually a fake gun. We have heard more about Catt

:06:19.:06:25.

galop's mental state at the time. -- Alastair Gallow. His marriage had

:06:26.:06:30.

broken down, his 14 year marriage. He moved out of the family home at

:06:31.:06:34.

the start of this year and the court heard he had severe alcoholism and a

:06:35.:06:39.

personality disorder but in fact, his defence barrister said he was a

:06:40.:06:43.

perfectly hard-working man that was brought low by the circumstances of

:06:44.:06:47.

his life at the time. Despite that, a very serious incident? Yes, the

:06:48.:06:56.

judge said that despite those mitigating circumstances, this was

:06:57.:07:00.

an absolutely serious event that was happening and a custodial sentence

:07:01.:07:03.

was the only thing that he could possibly impose on him. Sentenced to

:07:04.:07:08.

prison for four years but what he said was that Alastair Gallow was

:07:09.:07:11.

getting help for his health problems.

:07:12.:07:16.

A Newcastle United player has appeared in court charged

:07:17.:07:18.

with taking part in a brawl in a nightclub.

:07:19.:07:20.

Magistrates were told that Rolando Aarons -

:07:21.:07:28.

who's 21, was involved in a fight with a

:07:29.:07:30.

The prosecutor said bottles were smashed and thrown at Livello

:07:31.:07:34.

nightclub and one man was left with injuries.

:07:35.:07:36.

Ronaldo Aarons and three others, deny violent disorder.

:07:37.:07:38.

It's a largely preventable cancer that kills two women every day,

:07:39.:07:43.

but the uptake for cervical cancer screening is at a 19 year low.

:07:44.:07:47.

More than one in four women in the North East do not attend

:07:48.:07:51.

the tests and that figure is even higher amongst those

:07:52.:07:54.

In an attempt to reverse this trend, the country's first cervical cancer

:07:55.:08:00.

prevention roadshow has come to Tyneside as Sharuna

:08:01.:08:02.

I was 27 when I got diagnosed with cervical cancer and it came as a

:08:03.:08:16.

massive shock. I had to have a hysterectomy, chemotherapy,

:08:17.:08:18.

radiotherapy, obviously it was devastating, really and hadn't

:08:19.:08:22.

massive impact on me and my whole family. Rachel Kershaw did for one

:08:23.:08:26.

moment think it would happen to her. But it did. She was young, healthy

:08:27.:08:30.

and busy, so she didn't have a smear test when she should have. And by

:08:31.:08:34.

the time she did, the cancer had taken hold. I often wonder... Could

:08:35.:08:40.

all of those have been prevented if I'd just gone and been on time with

:08:41.:08:45.

my cervical screening appointment. Cervical cancer is the most common

:08:46.:08:50.

cancer in women under 35 but cervical screening does prevent up

:08:51.:08:56.

to 75% of cases. I had my first one last year and then every three years

:08:57.:09:00.

after that, it's very important. Yes, I think women should have it

:09:01.:09:04.

done a lot younger as well. They should always go. It's the same as a

:09:05.:09:12.

man with bowel cancer. I go every two years. I've experienced it

:09:13.:09:16.

myself, so it was scary but I got through it and had regular

:09:17.:09:23.

screenings, so I got through that. You're not going to know if there's

:09:24.:09:26.

anything wrong if you don't get checked. Please, please, please

:09:27.:09:33.

prevention, prevention prevention. And that's the message the Cervix

:09:34.:09:37.

Savvy Road show is hoping to drive home in Newcastle, which has the

:09:38.:09:39.

lowest uptake of cervical screening in the north-east. Last year more

:09:40.:09:46.

than 30% of women in Newcastle didn't attend a cervical screening

:09:47.:09:50.

appointment when invited. That's around 22.5 thousand not having a

:09:51.:09:58.

smear test -- 20 2500 people and the figures are worse for 25-29

:09:59.:10:03.

-year-old, more than 50% of women didn't get tested. It's a worrying

:10:04.:10:07.

trend, charity campaigners are trying to reverse. We want to

:10:08.:10:12.

support women through their concerns and encourage them that it's not

:10:13.:10:15.

something to be afraid of and it is so important. Those few minutes

:10:16.:10:21.

could make all the difference and could save your life. Rachel learned

:10:22.:10:25.

her lesson the hard way but she hoped her traumatic experience will

:10:26.:10:30.

inspire other women to get screened. I would say to any women, if you get

:10:31.:10:34.

that invitation to go for cervical screening, don't put it off, just

:10:35.:10:39.

make the appointment. I know it's a little bit of an inconvenience but

:10:40.:10:42.

what's that compared to what could happen if you don't go and get

:10:43.:10:44.

screened. A catholic priest from

:10:45.:10:50.

the North East has gone on trial accused of repeated sexual abuse

:10:51.:10:53.

of a teenage boy in Father Michael Higginbottom,

:10:54.:10:55.

who's been suspended from St Augustine's Church

:10:56.:11:00.

in Darlington, is alleged to have carried out the abuse on the boy

:11:01.:11:03.

at Upholland Seminary in Lancashire. Father Higginbottom, who's now 73

:11:04.:11:06.

and lives in West Farm Road The trial at Liverpool Crown

Court is continuing. After nearly four years of planning

:11:13.:11:18.

and construction, the ?30 million Morpeth Northern Bypass

:11:19.:11:21.

has opened today. The route, between the A1

:11:22.:11:24.

and the A197, is around two and a half miles long,

:11:25.:11:27.

and will link to the already It's intended to make access

:11:39.:11:40.

as it launches its 2017 programme. The non-profit operator runs Sunday

on May bank holiday, Next month the Tees Valley

:11:49.:11:53.

will elect a mayor, who will be given new powers and money to spend

:11:54.:12:04.

in the region. So what sort of difference

:12:05.:12:06.

could the mayor make? We've chosen five objects to look

:12:07.:12:09.

at five areas the role The first is identity -

:12:10.:12:11.

David Macmillan asks if the Tees Valley is a city region,

:12:12.:12:18.

where is the city centre? The first thing we're talking about

:12:19.:12:29.

is the Tees Valley's identity and the object we are using is a

:12:30.:12:34.

football scarf. Now, it could have been a Hartlepool scarf, Darlington

:12:35.:12:41.

scarf but maybe it had to be a Middlesbrough scarf. That's because

:12:42.:12:44.

there's a theory that if you want to have economic success, Middlesbrough

:12:45.:12:47.

has to be the centre of the Tees Valley. Across all cities we see

:12:48.:12:52.

high-paid high skilled jobs increasingly wanting a city centre

:12:53.:12:54.

location and set Middlesbrough city centre is playing that role in the

:12:55.:12:58.

wider Tees Valley. Middlesbrough Council is certainly keen to

:12:59.:13:02.

capitalise on the idea, drawing of the multi-million pound plans to

:13:03.:13:05.

make the time the heart of the Tees Valley. Of course Middlesbrough's

:13:06.:13:09.

coronation as the city centre of the Tees Valley would be dependent on

:13:10.:13:14.

other pretty major places agreeing to it and at least one of those

:13:15.:13:17.

times has a pretty compelling case that it is the real economic

:13:18.:13:18.

powerhouse. It is Darlington's railways and

:13:19.:13:30.

engineering industries that created Middlesbrough and the steel

:13:31.:13:33.

industries. Darlington, I think, sees itself as being the economic

:13:34.:13:37.

capital. Although proud of the town's recent success, the council's

:13:38.:13:40.

chief executive is striking a conciliatory tone in the debate.

:13:41.:13:45.

Darlington is in the top ten areas of the country with the fastest

:13:46.:13:50.

growth rate at the present time. I don't think the debate is really

:13:51.:13:54.

about a centre, the Tees Valley is unique in being polycentric, there

:13:55.:14:00.

are five times, five places all with their own unique contribution to

:14:01.:14:04.

make. Whatever the Tees Valley city centre is, if there is one at all,

:14:05.:14:09.

the mere will have to ensure the benefits from it are spread across

:14:10.:14:10.

the whole region. You can see the film in full and get

shortly. A famous Darlington bridge builder

:15:09.:15:13.

has finished manufacturing the longest girders ever made

:15:14.:15:15.

in its factory. Cleveland Bridge has fabricated

:15:16.:15:17.

the fifty-metre lengths Today it loaded them out

:15:18.:15:19.

in preparation for the 300-mile Our Business Correspondent

:15:20.:15:23.

Ian Reeve reports. Since 1877, Cleveland Bridge has

:15:24.:15:39.

built some of the world's most notable structures. Hong Kong's

:15:40.:15:44.

bridge and Wembley Stadium amongst them. But this is something

:15:45.:15:48.

different from the Darlington company, the longest bridge girders

:15:49.:15:51.

it's ever made. Destined for a road project in Scotland. The thing about

:15:52.:15:57.

this for us is that there are the longest single girders that we've

:15:58.:16:01.

produced in the factory and transported at 50 metres,

:16:02.:16:05.

approximately six metres longer than our previous record. The project

:16:06.:16:08.

reflects the buoyant state the company is in after a bumpy couple

:16:09.:16:14.

of years. It has its eyes on bidding for HS two work and is making a

:16:15.:16:18.

profit. Things are looking right for the company. We are pleased when we

:16:19.:16:21.

are at the moment and I know the management team are pleased with the

:16:22.:16:25.

direction we're going and we got a lot of good opportunities out there

:16:26.:16:28.

to capitalise on the work we've done in the factory. The giant girders

:16:29.:16:32.

coming out of the factory will take two days to get to Aberdeen. Driver

:16:33.:16:39.

Bob going at 30 miles an hour would be the most popular man on the road.

:16:40.:16:42.

What has been the reaction of the road users? Horns blowing. I

:16:43.:16:53.

suppose, what can you do, it's our job? A little inconvenience is

:16:54.:16:57.

surely in order just to see this record-breaking job made by a famous

:17:34.:17:38.

learning, organised by new College Durham and one that seems to leave a

:17:39.:17:42.

lasting impression. They have a passport which they take on the

:17:43.:17:45.

clash and underwritten a meet somebody from a particular country

:17:46.:17:47.

they get to colour in the fight and they get that stamped at the end of

:17:48.:17:52.

the day. By the end of the day they've crossed continents, they've

:17:53.:17:56.

been to, this year we've got 12 different countries represented.

:17:57.:18:01.

Several students sharing their stories are refugees, displaced last

:18:02.:18:06.

year from the camps in Calais. This girl is from Turkey and was today

:18:07.:18:10.

sharing a well-known Turkish recipe, popular with children wherever they

:18:11.:18:15.

live. I hope they will remember this one day. How have the biscuits gone

:18:16.:18:20.

down? We are doing well. They like them. How many times of different

:18:21.:18:29.

traditional clothes do you have? And pupils had all kinds of inquisitive

:18:30.:18:33.

questions. Foremost is the first time they've met people from

:18:34.:18:36.

countries like Libya, Japan and Korea. Their clothes, they're like

:18:37.:18:42.

totally different. They've got traditional but we haven't. So it's

:18:43.:18:50.

just really different. It's not everyday you going to find people

:18:51.:18:54.

who come from Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan. We speak Arabic

:18:55.:19:00.

language in Libya and here they speak English, so they get excited

:19:01.:19:05.

like how can we say that or do that. To finish there were songs from

:19:06.:19:10.

around the world. A date to accept and celebrate the world's many

:19:11.:19:11.

different cultures. A top hat and tails could be

:19:12.:19:23.

regarded as traditional. Not often worn! On to sport. More development

on the David Moyes story. His comments to our BBC reporter Vicki

:19:29.:19:33.

Sparks. Sunderland have put out a statement confirming that David

:19:34.:19:36.

Moyes will not be sacked for seeing that Vicki Sparks might get a slap

:19:37.:19:40.

after a post match interview. They called the incident wholly

:19:41.:19:43.

unacceptable and said such actions are not condoned or excused in

:19:44.:19:48.

anyway. David recognise this immediately, proactively bringing

:19:49.:19:51.

the matter to the attention of the chief executive and apologising to

:19:52.:19:55.

the reporter. The club also spoke with both a senior figure at the BBC

:19:56.:20:00.

and the reporter personally, expressing its profound regret. The

:20:01.:20:03.

statement went on to say the swift and decisive action taken by the

:20:04.:20:06.

club and the manager ensured it was resolved to the satisfaction of the

:20:07.:20:11.

reporter on the BBC. The club continues to fully support David in

:20:12.:20:16.

his role as manager of Sunderland AFC. After all the upheaval in the

:20:17.:20:20.

past 48 hours, maybe David Moyes can start thinking about the ball again

:20:21.:20:23.

but the pressure on him tonight is no less intense. The Sunderland

:20:24.:20:27.

manager takes a site of the home of the reigning Premier League

:20:28.:20:29.

champions a rejuvenated Leicester City. Like the Black Cats, the Foxes

:20:30.:20:35.

where deep in relegation trouble. This defeat at the Stadium of Light

:20:36.:20:40.

back in November another nail in the coffin of head coach Claudio

:20:41.:20:43.

Ranieri. But while Sunderland hit rock bottom and stuck by their boss,

:20:44.:20:47.

Leicester did the unthinkable and ditched the Italian who had led them

:20:48.:20:51.

to glory. Craig Shakespeare came in and city have since won five in a

:20:52.:20:57.

row and they have a Champions League quarterfinal against Atletico Madrid

:20:58.:20:59.

next week. Leicester at the moment are in good form, they have a lot of

:21:00.:21:03.

big games coming up. You have to hope that we can maybe catch them on

:21:04.:21:08.

an off night. As you can see, the sort of got back to more like the

:21:09.:21:11.

form they were in when the won the Premier League last year. It was a

:21:12.:21:15.

campaign kicked off with a thumping 4-2 win on Sunderland's previous

:21:16.:21:20.

visit to the King Power Stadium. Including that game, the Wearsiders

:21:21.:21:23.

last 30 away Premier League matches have brought them just five wins.

:21:24.:21:28.

They are in need of another miracle. While there still a mathematical

:21:29.:21:31.

chance we have to keep going. I always said that this was good to be

:21:32.:21:35.

a pivotal week because we had two away games. Whilst we had to win one

:21:36.:21:40.

of them and it has changed. We didn't win the first one, we tried

:21:41.:21:46.

and the players did what the good, we just came up a little bit short

:21:47.:21:52.

on it. We've got to try and win the next one. Sunderland skipper John

:21:53.:21:55.

O'Shea will miss tonight the match because of the death of his father.

:21:56.:21:59.

We send our condolences to him. Good luck to York city tonight, a win

:22:00.:22:03.

against Bromley would take them out of the national league relegation

:22:04.:22:07.

zone. It's exactly a year to the start of the 2018 Commonwealth

:22:08.:22:10.

Games, the last ones were held in Glasgow and this young woman picked

:22:11.:22:15.

up medal. Wheelchair racer Jade Jones from Deeside. One of the

:22:16.:22:20.

highlights of your career and you went to Rio Paralympics last year

:22:21.:22:25.

and it's different event the Commonwealth Games because the

:22:26.:22:28.

Paralympic games are part of the same event. Commonwealth Games is

:22:29.:22:31.

always different, not like anything we normally do, so pretty exciting

:22:32.:22:36.

that we are combined, it changes the atmosphere, which is exciting and

:22:37.:22:40.

next year there will be even more Paralympic events which is

:22:41.:22:42.

incredible. The next games in the Gold Coast on Australia. 25 degrees

:22:43.:22:47.

there today, bit different to Glasgow when you won your Brandsma

:22:48.:22:52.

now in 2014. It was pouring down! A little bit of a difference -- in

:22:53.:22:55.

Glasgow. We will have to work on that but that's something that team

:22:56.:22:59.

England has under control and working on preparing all of us and

:23:00.:23:03.

getting is ready to go. He was Glasgow, was it good? It was good,

:23:04.:23:08.

probably the best experience I've had on a world stage. It was my

:23:09.:23:12.

first senior medal so nothing will ever really compare to that and to

:23:13.:23:15.

be so close to home when that happened was amazing. Exactly a year

:23:16.:23:23.

to the start of 2018 games. When disqualification start? Any time

:23:24.:23:27.

from now till October we have to qualify and head certain standards

:23:28.:23:29.

in different events and different times, that sort of stuff. There's a

:23:30.:23:33.

lot of pressure going into it, especially coming off the back of a

:23:34.:23:37.

medal a few years ago. It will be tough but looking forward to it.

:23:38.:23:40.

Looking forward to the wheelchair racing, which you know you're good

:23:41.:23:44.

at but branching out into another event as well? That's right, I was

:23:45.:23:49.

wanted to have a go at triathlon for as long as I can remember and after

:23:50.:23:55.

the last games I thought now was the right time to have a little go and

:23:56.:23:59.

see what I feel like. I'm really enjoying it, it's different, very

:24:00.:24:03.

different, had to learn how to swim and it's all very different, but

:24:04.:24:08.

it's exciting and I'm enjoying it. That's a Commonwealth event as well?

:24:09.:24:11.

That's an event as well because there are branching out on behalf of

:24:12.:24:15.

more events there for the Paralympic sports, so we're having at triathlon

:24:16.:24:19.

as well. Can you double? Hopefully, that's the plan, I'll see how it

:24:20.:24:24.

goes and take this year as it comes and do my first triathlon in me, so

:24:25.:24:27.

it would be exciting to see how that goes and I'll go from there. We wish

:24:28.:24:31.

you all the best and will follow it with interest. I just had to squeeze

:24:32.:24:39.

in there. It's time for the weather. How are we looking? Today was

:24:40.:24:42.

another stunner. Still a little bit of a chill if

:24:43.:24:47.

you're not out and about in the sunshine. April has given a sombre

:24:48.:24:51.

Wrighty so far. I can let you tell the full story so far.

:24:52.:25:16.

We won't see any dramatic changes in the weather in the next few days

:25:17.:25:21.

with high pressure in charge. Should stay mostly dry but the cloud will

:25:22.:25:25.

come and go, so some shuns showing but Sunday is not an awful lot of it

:25:26.:25:33.

-- some sunshine showing. Tonight we should stay frost free, some cold

:25:34.:25:37.

spells in the early part of the night but the clothing cuisine from

:25:38.:25:40.

the north-west and it could be thick enough to produce the odd spot of

:25:41.:25:44.

light rain and drizzle over the hill but most places staying dry and

:25:45.:25:47.

there will be enough cloud and bees to keep as frost free. Temperature

:25:48.:25:53.

is now lower than six Celsius, which is 43 Fahrenheit. A cloudy start for

:25:54.:25:57.

many others tomorrow, should be mostly dry and there will be a few

:25:58.:26:01.

bricks in the cloud but I think those sunny intervals will be fewer

:26:02.:26:06.

and further between than the last few days. A bit of a chilly feel in

:26:07.:26:11.

the breeze and the shade. Keep the north-westerly wind and temperatures

:26:12.:26:15.

tomorrow peaking at roundabout 12 Celsius which is 54 for a night. I

:26:16.:26:19.

pressure dominating the chart as we head through the middle part of the

:26:20.:26:23.

week and towards the weekend, some subtle changes as the centre of the

:26:24.:26:28.

high-pressure drifts further east, we start to see a change in wind

:26:29.:26:32.

direction and start to lose that chilly north-westerly and pick up a

:26:33.:26:36.

very light south-westerly, so that should cause a couple of subtle

:26:37.:26:41.

changes in our weather. The next couple of days, largely dry but

:26:42.:26:44.

largely cloudy as we head through Wednesday and Thursday was that

:26:45.:26:49.

temperatures typically up to about 12 Celsius by day and high enough to

:26:50.:26:53.

stay frost free overnight. Subtle changes in the wind direction take

:26:54.:26:57.

effect as we head through the end of the week and especially into the

:26:58.:27:00.

weekend with the south-westerly breeze were more likely to see the

:27:01.:27:04.

clouds start to break times and more likely to see the temperatures, the

:27:05.:27:07.

daytime temperature started increase as we head into the weekend, so 1314

:27:08.:27:12.

Celsius is possible by the weekend but with the clear skies, the

:27:13.:27:24.

night-time temperatures might turn a little bit chillier. Stay tuned for

:27:25.:27:26.

the latest forecast and we'll keep you updated on new BBC local radio

:27:27.:27:29.

station and you can keep bang up to date on the BBC weather app.

:27:30.:27:35.

We will have champagne and canap s at words. We like that but never

:27:36.:27:44.

mind. That's it from us tonight. Goodbye.

:27:45.:27:59.

HORN BEEPS That car.

:28:00.:28:06.

John, John, you've got mud all over your pants. Come here.

:28:07.:28:09.

I've got spit on them now, haven't I?

:28:10.:28:12.

Leave it, I'll get it off in the bogs. Animal.

:28:13.:28:23.

This programme is what the BBC calls a special.

:28:24.:28:25.

That means I've splashed out on a new bra.

:28:26.:28:29.
