Tonight, joy and despair. so it's goodbye from me. | :00:00. | :00:00.
Newcastle win the championship, Hartlepool exit the Football League, | :00:07. | :00:13.
and could Middlesbrough be relegated from the Premier | :00:14. | :00:16.
We'll have reaction from across the region. | :00:17. | :00:20.
We'll have all the action in Team Talk, when I'll be joined | :00:21. | :00:23.
not just by Steve Harper, but by another special guest! | :00:24. | :00:27.
Also tonight, Conservatives stick by their promise to stop Labour's | :00:28. | :00:32.
plans to move the headquarters of Northumberland County Council. | :00:33. | :00:35.
Why many of our rivers are running dry, sparking fears | :00:36. | :00:38.
And, digital first - how our newspapers are having | :00:39. | :00:44.
to adapt to the challenges of reporting as news moves online. | :00:45. | :01:00.
One other can still win promotion, but another | :01:01. | :01:05.
It's a dramatic end to the season for our region's | :01:06. | :01:11.
At the weekend, Newcastle United, already promoted, secured | :01:12. | :01:14.
the Championship title at St James' Park. | :01:15. | :01:18.
But, down the road, despite winning their final match, | :01:19. | :01:22.
Hartlepool United were relegated from League Two and dropped out | :01:23. | :01:25.
Better news for Carlisle - they secured a place | :01:26. | :01:31.
Sunderland, of course, were already relegated | :01:32. | :01:35.
from the Premier League, and Middlesbrough will follow them | :01:36. | :01:39.
if they lose at top-of-the table Chelsea tonight. | :01:40. | :01:43.
Well, we've been gathering reaction from fans and asking what it | :01:44. | :01:46.
Let's go to Stuart Whincup, who's at Stamford Bridge for the Boro's | :01:47. | :01:50.
Well, a year ago today, Middlesbrough's players were | :01:51. | :02:06.
celebrating in the town's buyers after securing promotion to the | :02:07. | :02:10.
Premier League. 12 months on comedy picture is very different. The | :02:11. | :02:16.
optimism is disappeared. Middlesbrough could be relegated | :02:17. | :02:20.
tonight. To stop that, they need to beat Chelsea or at least get a job | :02:21. | :02:26.
draw. To give an idea of how they get at that is, they haven't won | :02:27. | :02:30.
here at Stamford Bridge since 1975. Chelsea have been the best team all | :02:31. | :02:36.
season and are expected to be crowned Premier need champion in | :02:37. | :02:41.
next week. We spoke to some fans however who are quite confident. | :02:42. | :02:46.
Would you have a chance, it slim chance, that going to a big club | :02:47. | :02:51.
when unexpected to do everything. But he's have a 20-1 to win. We can | :02:52. | :03:03.
get something off than at least. I think 1- no bar, are barring the | :03:04. | :03:10.
greater to score. I think we'll take it all away to the last game. If we | :03:11. | :03:14.
can go to Liverpool with a mathematical chance, then that is | :03:15. | :03:20.
all we can ask for. Around 1500 Boro fans have made that journey from | :03:21. | :03:25.
Teesside for this kind game. They've made that journey knowing that | :03:26. | :03:30.
Middlesbrough have not run since that victory one Norway since that | :03:31. | :03:33.
victory over Sunderland. Well, Newcastle will be | :03:34. | :03:35.
in the Premier League next season. They cemented their promotion by | :03:36. | :03:38.
being crowned Championship champions Mark Denten is outside St James' | :03:39. | :03:40.
Park for us tonight. Yes, Newcastle United have been a | :03:41. | :03:57.
football league club for 124 seasons and 485 of them they have been in | :03:58. | :04:03.
the top division. -- for 85 of them they have. Many fans would say that | :04:04. | :04:11.
they belong in the top flight, but it is being a nail-biting time. | :04:12. | :04:15.
Certainly over the last 24-hour is. It all came down to two matches 200 | :04:16. | :04:17.
miles apart. 46 games and, finally, a season over | :04:18. | :04:20.
in the best possible style. Newcastle United not only promoted, | :04:21. | :04:23.
but as champions after beating And for the fans, well, | :04:24. | :04:25.
just listen to them. The highly best team in the league. | :04:26. | :04:55.
The best time of my life. There is a hefty financial reward for getting | :04:56. | :05:02.
promoted. It is thought to be in the region of ?270 million for a | :05:03. | :05:05.
Newcastle United, plus of course, all of the exposure internationally | :05:06. | :05:08.
that comes from getting promoted to the top flight. Despite that, there | :05:09. | :05:12.
is no promotion print parade planned for this year, but, after a long | :05:13. | :05:18.
hard season, everyone here is celebrating. When you play 46 games | :05:19. | :05:25.
in a very difficult season after going down. To do it the way we did | :05:26. | :05:32.
in the whole season, I think that is really emotional and I'm really | :05:33. | :05:33.
proud of it. And Rafa Benitez is expected to have | :05:34. | :05:33.
talks about his future Two years ago, he said he'd only | :05:34. | :05:36.
sell the club if they won a trophy or qualified for the Champions | :05:37. | :05:41.
League. So, as always with Newcastle United, | :05:42. | :05:42.
amidst the celebrations None of the skin to win the title | :05:43. | :05:58.
into the end of those two matches 200 miles apart, but as if by magic, | :05:59. | :06:03.
the Trippi appeared here at Saint -- the trophy appeared at St James's | :06:04. | :06:07.
Park. There are at least two trophies, one was down in Brighton | :06:08. | :06:12.
but thankfully for everybody here it wasn't. | :06:13. | :06:13.
No celebrations in Hartlepool though. | :06:14. | :06:14.
A win on Saturday for Pools wasn't enough to keep Hartlepool United | :06:15. | :06:18.
Let's cross to Phil Connell, who's outside Victoria Park this evening. | :06:19. | :06:29.
Well, there is never an easy way to be relegated from the football | :06:30. | :06:35.
league, but what happened here at Victoria Park at the weekend was | :06:36. | :06:39.
particularly painful. Hartlepool united, relegated from league | :06:40. | :06:44.
football, their fate decided in the final few minutes of the football | :06:45. | :06:54.
season. In Hartlepool the atmosphere was best described as the slated. | :06:55. | :06:58.
Fans reflecting on a football season that has been well and truly grim. | :06:59. | :07:03.
They played terrible, but life goes on, and we hope they can bounce back | :07:04. | :07:09.
next year. It helps the town to have a club in the league, boost the | :07:10. | :07:13.
economy and get people involved in things. That's something that we | :07:14. | :07:17.
have lost now wouldn't it. Coupled with problems off the pitch, it is a | :07:18. | :07:22.
season that Hartlepool would rather forget. In January their manager was | :07:23. | :07:27.
sacked at less than a year into his contract. In April Dave Jones was | :07:28. | :07:32.
sacked with the club chairman resigning just a week later. | :07:33. | :07:38.
Hartlepool must now put this behind him. What worries me is the | :07:39. | :07:44.
direction of the pitch, because there have been too many bad | :07:45. | :07:49.
decisions made over the last year or two. This has resulted in the team | :07:50. | :07:54.
being where it was on Saturday at 7:30pm. It is too early to discuss | :07:55. | :08:00.
what the impact of non-league football will have on the town. The | :08:01. | :08:10.
gig... Going out of the league will affect everybody, especially local | :08:11. | :08:14.
businesses. Like me, who couldn't get much closer to the ground. Today | :08:15. | :08:20.
one die-hard fan had only bought a season ticket. I think people will | :08:21. | :08:26.
continued to support the team. It's important, very important to keep | :08:27. | :08:33.
the club alive. And given a ticket you like. At the top end of the two, | :08:34. | :08:37.
it was a very different league story, Carlisle still chasing | :08:38. | :08:41.
promotion by securing their place in the play-offs. As you might expect | :08:42. | :08:45.
fans are very happy. Absolutely, they've deserved it, | :08:46. | :08:47.
they were in the top We should have got promoted, | :08:48. | :08:50.
but I'm delighted. I've come down for my tickets | :08:51. | :08:53.
today and looking forward to going to Wembley. | :08:54. | :08:55.
Ecstatic, because I've had a good bet on at the start of the season | :08:56. | :08:57.
with Newcastle and Carlisle just It is a knockout, | :08:58. | :09:03.
really, from now on. You know, it's a sprint now, | :09:04. | :09:07.
it's not a marathon. But I think Carlisle have a chance, | :09:08. | :09:09.
I think they really do. At this end of the league, a farmer | :09:10. | :09:24.
somewhere mood -- a far more sombre mood, Carlisle -- Hartlepool keeping | :09:25. | :09:27.
their heads up. And Jeff and Steve will have | :09:28. | :09:29.
all match action in team talk - Northumberland Conservatives have | :09:30. | :09:32.
vowed to cancel a multi-million pound scheme to move the council's | :09:33. | :09:42.
headquarters from Labour say their proposals, | :09:43. | :09:44.
which would have seen shops and houses built on the existing | :09:45. | :09:56.
site of Morpeth's County Hall , would have saved money in the long | :09:57. | :09:59.
term and create jobs. But local Tories, who have now | :10:00. | :10:02.
replaced Labour as the biggest party in the council, | :10:03. | :10:05.
say the plan is a waste of Our political correspondent | :10:06. | :10:07.
Luke Walton reports. It was hailed by Labour as a plan | :10:08. | :10:10.
for jobs, investment and efficiency. The idea to build this | :10:11. | :10:13.
new Northumberland council HQ in Ashington - | :10:14. | :10:16.
while replacing the council's current offices in Morpeth with 200 | :10:17. | :10:19.
houses, a retail park and a school.Residents weren't | :10:20. | :10:22.
impressed, dubbing the scheme Residents weren't impressed, | :10:23. | :10:26.
dubbing the scheme a waste of taxpayers cash that | :10:27. | :10:28.
would cause congestion Their anger spilt out not only | :10:29. | :10:30.
in demonstrations but also - Local Conservatives say the issue | :10:31. | :10:38.
was a key reason why they replaced Labour as the biggest party | :10:39. | :10:44.
in thursday's elections. Labour as the biggest party | :10:45. | :10:49.
in Thursday's elections. We're going to deliver on our | :10:50. | :11:06.
promises, all of our promises, positioning that one. So the county | :11:07. | :11:10.
council is going to stay in my and in County Hall. | :11:11. | :11:12.
Tory plan is to refurbish the 35 -year-old offices at a cost of 7 | :11:13. | :11:18.
There was a lot of frustration and anger in the way that the plans are | :11:19. | :11:29.
going and this has come through in the way that people have voted. | :11:30. | :11:33.
People are saying, will make a change. | :11:34. | :11:35.
Labour councillors turned down our request for an interview. | :11:36. | :11:38.
But with work already started on what was going to be | :11:39. | :11:40.
the new county hall - there are bound to be | :11:41. | :11:43.
fears of creating a white elephant in Ashington. | :11:44. | :11:45.
A suggestion denied by Conservatives. | :11:46. | :11:54.
There's no danger of us creating a white elephant, that was previous | :11:55. | :12:01.
Labour administration. Bike moving jobs to another town and not | :12:02. | :12:05.
creating anything at all. There was an exciting opportunity in Ashington | :12:06. | :12:08.
because the council has control of that site that is so central to that | :12:09. | :12:12.
town and we are going to make sure that it is the start of a new broker | :12:13. | :12:17.
Ashington. -- in the birth rate Ashington. | :12:18. | :12:18.
A multimillion pound plan apparently put | :12:19. | :12:20.
Even so the long-running saga of Northumberland's County Hall may | :12:21. | :12:23.
An 18-year-old man's died after a road accident in Whitley Bay. | :12:24. | :12:34.
It happened last night on the A193 The Links | :12:35. | :12:36.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident. | :12:37. | :12:42.
A primary school in Hartlepool has suffered serious | :12:43. | :12:44.
The blaze broke out at Rift House school last night. | :12:45. | :12:48.
Classes remained open for Year Six pupils only. | :12:49. | :12:56.
In most years you can expect to spend a great part of time in the | :12:57. | :13:06.
Lake District Centre member Bali in -- under a brolly. It has been blown | :13:07. | :13:16.
dry lately, a boon for workers by the worry for the summer ahead. -- | :13:17. | :13:21.
Walkers but a worry for the summer ahead. It's the driest spell I've | :13:22. | :13:29.
seen over our lonely time. Normally you get some really good weather, | :13:30. | :13:36.
get the lambs on the ground, and they never had a wet day. It's | :13:37. | :13:42.
marvellous. Just behind the farm is the famous weather station which | :13:43. | :13:44.
usually measures anything between two and three metres over rain every | :13:45. | :13:48.
year. But even it looks in need of a drink. It's astonishing, you could | :13:49. | :13:53.
imagine this at the end of a long hot summer in July or August, but | :13:54. | :13:59.
this is only early May. The only evidence that the Derwent runs | :14:00. | :14:04.
through here, statistically Britain's greatest wettest place, is | :14:05. | :14:09.
it dried riverbed. It's been a boon for tourism. Good weather is a good | :14:10. | :14:16.
thing. It makes my job so much easier when people are just wowed by | :14:17. | :14:21.
the views from the hotel, rather than thinking of my God it's | :14:22. | :14:27.
raining, we're going to have to put our beach on wares are waterproof. | :14:28. | :14:34.
What it's not just Cumbria, it's in Corbridge and North Yorkshire. Why | :14:35. | :14:37.
has it been so dry? Is a long hot summer on the way? The long-range | :14:38. | :14:44.
outlook for this summer, we'll just have to wait and see. Shorter term | :14:45. | :14:48.
there is some way water later on in the week. But it would be a bit hit | :14:49. | :14:55.
and this. River levels are low, but we are told there is no need to | :14:56. | :15:00.
worry about our reservoirs. Panel is back later. -- poll is back later. | :15:01. | :15:07.
It's a Teesside institution facing massive change. | :15:08. | :15:08.
For nearly 150 years, the Gazette in Middlesbrough has | :15:09. | :15:11.
Like all papers, recent times have brought major challenges as print | :15:12. | :15:17.
Now, the paper has moved to a new base as it copes | :15:18. | :15:21.
At a screen in the middle of the newsroom, the editor can see | :15:22. | :15:27.
which stories have been clicked on and when. | :15:28. | :15:29.
It's a terrific bit of technology called Chart beat which enables us | :15:30. | :15:32.
to see every 15 seconds what our readers are looking at. | :15:33. | :15:34.
It's a terrific bit of technology called Chart beat which enables us | :15:35. | :15:42.
to see every 15 seconds what our readers are looking at. | :15:43. | :15:44.
These are the offices of the Gazette in Middlesbrough, | :15:45. | :15:46.
a fresh look in the newspaper industry that has changed | :15:47. | :15:49.
The building was about our past, about our history, | :15:50. | :15:52.
whereas the new building is about where we are now | :15:53. | :15:54.
and our future and the type of business that we are now. | :15:55. | :15:57.
The media world has changed over the years, particularly | :15:58. | :15:59.
That change has often been painful, the Gazett's formerhome once | :16:00. | :16:03.
That change has often been painful, the Gazett's former home once | :16:04. | :16:06.
housed hundreds of staff, chronicling daily life. | :16:07. | :16:07.
The importance of local newspapers is reflected here in the desert's | :16:08. | :16:10.
fantastic archive in the basement of the old building. | :16:11. | :16:18.
This is essentially a history of Teeside gathered day by day | :16:19. | :16:20.
The paper's archive will stay put when Teesside University | :16:21. | :16:24.
takes over the building and print still matters. | :16:25. | :16:29.
21,000 copies a day, but sales fell 11% year-on-year, | :16:30. | :16:34.
and the future is online, where the audience is rising. | :16:35. | :16:36.
1.8 million unique users on the website in March. | :16:37. | :16:42.
Now, there is no such thing as a deadline. | :16:43. | :16:46.
If a story breaks, you've got to write it | :16:47. | :16:49.
because you are in competition with all the other media | :16:50. | :16:51.
That makes the job pretty much a 24-hour-a-day operation. | :16:52. | :16:59.
There was a time when, after a match, we did the match | :17:00. | :17:02.
report in the pink and then you didn't have to write anything | :17:03. | :17:05.
Now we have six pieces up within an hour the match finishing. | :17:06. | :17:13.
The public now expects that news for free and the key is being able | :17:14. | :17:16.
The view from the top, though, is that after nearly 150 years, | :17:17. | :17:21.
the Gazette, in whatever form, is here to stay. | :17:22. | :17:23.
Our business is in transformation, it's not actually in decline. | :17:24. | :17:26.
Our audience is an extraordinary success story. | :17:27. | :17:28.
We're not just a newspaper, we're a multimedia business | :17:29. | :17:32.
and we will be publishing for many, many years into the future | :17:33. | :17:35.
because Teesside needs its flag-wavers and that is the role | :17:36. | :17:41.
As we've already heard, it was quite a weekend of football | :17:42. | :17:52.
Here with all the action are Jeff and Steve with Team Talk. | :17:53. | :17:55.
So many ups and downs, and so much still to be decided. | :17:56. | :18:03.
Steve, you went through the highs and the lows in your career, | :18:04. | :18:08.
promotion and relegation, what's it like playing | :18:09. | :18:16.
Let's start on a positive note, with the Championship trophy landing | :18:17. | :18:24.
at St James's Park - and on our desk, timing | :18:25. | :18:26.
We didn't exactly see this trophy or these pictures. They looked like | :18:27. | :18:42.
they'd won it. Then they look like they lost it, pressure got to | :18:43. | :18:47.
Brighton, and then Newcastle took the opportunity. Lovely scenes, you | :18:48. | :18:50.
know that it's like to lift the trophy. Promotion is great, but this | :18:51. | :18:58.
is the icing on the cake. It was it was events elsewhere that within a | :18:59. | :19:04.
dictate what -- where the title went. You're very aware of it, | :19:05. | :19:11.
especially when 53,000 people out there and they know what's going on. | :19:12. | :19:16.
They were probably a little bit subdued when the third goal went in, | :19:17. | :19:21.
and seconds later, very different. Yes, and this was the goal that | :19:22. | :19:24.
ultimately won the title for Newcastle because Brighton were | :19:25. | :19:28.
pegged back for a draw. Do you feel a Chris Newton? Yeah, because they | :19:29. | :19:32.
thought they were up. Yeah, I will meet him next week, | :19:33. | :19:38.
but it was important for him, for us, to feel the love of the fans | :19:39. | :19:41.
and the passion in the stadium. You appreciate more when you're | :19:42. | :19:45.
getting older and then you feel the emotion around the city, | :19:46. | :19:47.
around the stadium and, obviously, I think it is the right time to talk | :19:48. | :19:50.
when everything is fine. The main thing is to ensure | :19:51. | :19:53.
that we both share the same ambition about how to improve, | :19:54. | :19:56.
how to do the right Let's stay with the good news - | :19:57. | :19:59.
and after looking like they'd blown their chance of promotion | :20:00. | :20:13.
from League two, Carlisle United came from behind | :20:14. | :20:15.
to win at Exeter City - who they'll now meet | :20:16. | :20:17.
in the semifinal of the play-offs. First leg on Sunday. Their best back | :20:18. | :20:34.
row, and how well does them a team of momentum to in the play-offs? | :20:35. | :20:44.
Yeah I think playing Exeter in the semifinal, having beaten them at the | :20:45. | :20:46.
weekend will stand them in good said. Fortunately, we don't have a | :20:47. | :20:54.
play-off at Berwick, they only needed a point to make sure they | :20:55. | :20:58.
avoided the relegation play-offs in the two. | :20:59. | :20:59.
It's 96 years since Hartlepool United left the Northern League | :21:00. | :21:01.
But next season they'll face derby matches with Gateshead | :21:02. | :21:05.
in the National League after a heartbreaking | :21:06. | :21:06.
They had to beat Doncaster, and hope Newport didn't beat Notts County. | :21:07. | :21:12.
Such a difficult over them. It looked all over 1-0 down. They left | :21:13. | :21:26.
in summer mountain to climb, but great spirit to turn it around. Not | :21:27. | :21:32.
County equalised, Newport were pegged back and it was up to them to | :21:33. | :21:39.
get two goals back. Not enough big performances. A huge win for them, | :21:40. | :21:46.
two great goals from the youngster as well. It wasn't on the last game | :21:47. | :21:52.
was it. You don't get relegated on the last game, it is a 46 game | :21:53. | :21:59.
season. Newport when it right at the death, with a pretty decent goal. | :22:00. | :22:03.
Devastation for Hartlepool. I think they scored | :22:04. | :22:05.
in the 89th minute. Like I say, just absolutely gutted | :22:06. | :22:08.
for everyone involved at the club. Hartlepool United's my life and I'm | :22:09. | :22:11.
absolutely devastated. We certainly couldn't have done any | :22:12. | :22:13.
more, I'm so disappointed. The league's not won or lost on one | :22:14. | :22:16.
game, on one day, is it? We can't complain, to be | :22:17. | :22:19.
honest with you, as fans. It's what effect it's | :22:20. | :22:23.
going to have on the club. Every single member of staff | :22:24. | :22:26.
that's in the offices, that's coaching at the moment, | :22:27. | :22:28.
who's a physio, who's a kit man, they all want the best | :22:29. | :22:31.
for Hartlepool United and that's all they give and all | :22:32. | :22:34.
they'll give next year. So this club will bounceback | :22:35. | :22:36.
and it has to bounce back. To the list of teams | :22:37. | :22:40.
going down, you can add York City and Sunderland - | :22:41. | :22:42.
and, if they lose at Chelsea A draw would keep Middlesbrough | :22:43. | :22:45.
hanging on by their finger tips. But they'll surely have | :22:46. | :22:49.
to go all-out for three points at Stamford Bridge, | :22:50. | :22:51.
Steve? Not for me Jeff, I think you'll be | :22:52. | :22:58.
foolish to go to Chelsea on the front foot. They've had some good | :22:59. | :23:03.
points away from home this season. Chelsea have got too much firepower. | :23:04. | :23:07.
They need to go there and try and frustrate Chelsea in cats on the | :23:08. | :23:10.
counterattack. And maybe just that a goal like that. | :23:11. | :23:13.
This is how the table looks - it's out of Boro's hands, really. | :23:14. | :23:22.
I den even think 37 points would be enough, just. Is veritably difficult | :23:23. | :23:26.
one. Sunderland, as we said, | :23:27. | :23:28.
are already down, but they salvaged a bit of pride and gave Boro | :23:29. | :23:30.
a lifeline with a win at Hull City which was still too little, | :23:31. | :23:34.
too late, I'm afraid. It was, when two performances have | :23:35. | :23:41.
threatened a result recently, but they needed more of this away from | :23:42. | :23:47.
them. Being in the game after half an hour, you need a goalkeeper to do | :23:48. | :23:54.
well. He's proven every week that he is a perennially goalkeeper. And | :23:55. | :23:57.
Sunderland are to be built, I think he's going to be one of the first to | :23:58. | :24:01.
go. OK, Steve thank you very much, thank you for joining us. | :24:02. | :24:04.
Well there was a double celebration for Magpies fan Will Fletcher. | :24:05. | :24:07.
The Chester le Street rower won gold for Great Britain in the men's | :24:08. | :24:10.
lightweight double sculls in the first World Rowing | :24:11. | :24:12.
Newcastle Eagles are through to the BBL Playoff final | :24:13. | :24:15.
against old rivals Leicester Riders at the O2 Arena on Sunday | :24:16. | :24:17.
after beating Worcester Wolves in a dramatic 2 point aggregate | :24:18. | :24:26.
But Newcastle Falcons just missed out on the chance of qualifying | :24:27. | :24:29.
for the European Champions Cup playoffs despite a bonus | :24:30. | :24:31.
Their eighth-placed finish in the Premiership though | :24:32. | :24:38.
To a lot of spirit to get truth. -- the sport to get through. | :24:39. | :24:54.
We are not the stars of this but so tonight, Paul. | :24:55. | :25:01.
Lovely blue skies above Keswick, unbroken blue skies. Clouds and huge | :25:02. | :25:12.
waves and northerly winds all over the county Durham coast today. | :25:13. | :25:16.
Tomorrow, another dry day, most places will see some sunny spells. | :25:17. | :25:19.
Even places ever been stuck with that crowd today. The wins will be a | :25:20. | :25:25.
bit lighter as well. Tonight, that split again, cloudy in the east, | :25:26. | :25:29.
some clear spells further west, and those clear skies, it could be | :25:30. | :25:34.
colder and a touch of ground frost as temperatures drop to -2 - three | :25:35. | :25:42.
Celsius. Tomorrow, cloudy starting places but there is a much better | :25:43. | :25:47.
chance of cloud in the East breaking, so most places will seek a | :25:48. | :25:51.
bit of sunshine breaking through. We've lost that persistent wing of | :25:52. | :25:55.
the North Sea, the window bit more variable direction tomorrow tries | :25:56. | :26:07.
Pelle Newcastle should see -- 1415 across the sunnier parts of Cumbria. | :26:08. | :26:11.
Things will gradually start to change as we head towards the end of | :26:12. | :26:16.
the week. We heard earlier in the programme were bit short of rainfall | :26:17. | :26:20.
but there is some rain on the way as we had through Friday we will start | :26:21. | :26:24.
to see this frontal system being pushed up from the south. That will | :26:25. | :26:27.
bring some cloud and eventually some patchy rain. And we will get a more | :26:28. | :26:34.
unsettled weather as we head into the weekend. Find great -- fine day | :26:35. | :26:41.
tomorrow, and more of the same on Wednesday, and eventually sends | :26:42. | :26:42.
showery rain by the end of the week. Thank you very much indeed for that | :26:43. | :26:52.
tip from us for this evening. Our late team will be back at 1030 with | :26:53. | :26:57.
the latest for you -- 10:30pm, not with this, sadly. Good night. | :26:58. | :27:00.
and leave with a baby but we came out with a death | :27:01. | :27:01. |
