Welcome to Wednesday's Look North. Tonight, a family tragedy. Two women

and two young boys die in a house fire near Chesterfield. A seven year

old girl suffers minor injuries. It was very smoke logged and

#ColourWhite screws were carried out, but all four Terrace to the

:00:22.:00:34.

file. `` rescues were carried out. Residents of Swaledale feel that

:00:35.:00:36.

they could be left isolated this winter when the Lifeline Road

:00:37.:00:43.

closes. Also tonight. And lining up ` the photos of trains and railways

:00:44.:00:47.

which are the subject of a new exhibition. And a lovely picture

:00:48.:00:49.

looking towards Richmond Castle. But we have some showers, possibly

:00:50.:00:56.

wintry in places, to come tonight. Join me later for the details.

:00:57.:01:08.

Tonight ` two women and two young boys have died in a house fire in

:01:09.:01:13.

North Derbyshire. A seven`year`old girl is being treated in hospital.

:01:14.:01:18.

Fire fighters were called to the house on Williamthorpe Road in the

:01:19.:01:21.

village of North Wingfield near Chesterfield at five o'clock this

:01:22.:01:24.

morning. So far the cause of the blaze isn't known. Our reporter

:01:25.:01:28.

Shamir Masri is at the scene. It is a sad day that this community

:01:29.:01:31.

following the news of the death of four people in a terraced house just

:01:32.:01:34.

behind me, bit further down the road. We have been told that a

:01:35.:01:39.

neighbour called the fire brigade at around five o'clock this morning and

:01:40.:01:44.

fire crews were quick to respond, but unfortunately, by the time they

:01:45.:01:49.

arrived, it was already too late for the majority of the people in the

:01:50.:01:55.

property. Fire officers arrived early this morning on Williamthorpe

:01:56.:02:00.

Road in North Wingfield to investigate the blaze in a terraced

:02:01.:02:03.

house that left two adults and two children dead and a third child in

:02:04.:02:08.

hospital. A joint press conference was held high Derbyshire police

:02:09.:02:13.

force and the fire service this afternoon. I can confirm that two

:02:14.:02:20.

women and two young children were taken to hospital and pronounced

:02:21.:02:25.

dead at hospital. I can confirm that a seven`year`old girl survived the

:02:26.:02:34.

fire and has minor injuries. Consistent with smoke inhalation. We

:02:35.:02:40.

are working alongside the police and looking at the cause of the fire,

:02:41.:02:44.

and it is too early to say at this moment of time what the cause of the

:02:45.:02:49.

fire was. Investigations have been ongoing throughout the day,

:02:50.:02:54.

concentrating on the first floor the property, but what caused the fire

:02:55.:02:59.

still to be confirmed, as is the identity of the four victims and one

:03:00.:03:04.

survivor. The incident has led to the closure of the main route

:03:05.:03:09.

between junction 29 of the M1 motorway and the town of play Cross,

:03:10.:03:18.

just south of Chesterfield. `` Clay Cross. We thought it was snow or

:03:19.:03:25.

robots, but we looked out, the police and we thought, what has

:03:26.:03:29.

happened, and I look that way and saw a fire engine. Maybe it had been

:03:30.:03:35.

a road accident. But the local radio on and it said that there had been a

:03:36.:03:40.

house fire. It is perhaps yards away from my house. Shocking. You feel

:03:41.:03:48.

for people. The sad news has left this small community in shock, as

:03:49.:03:51.

they try to come to terms with what has happened. We are yet to find out

:03:52.:04:00.

the exact cause of the blaze at this property, but we have received a

:04:01.:04:03.

statement from the local primary school in North Wingfield, who have

:04:04.:04:08.

said that their thoughts are with the families of those involved but,

:04:09.:04:14.

obviously, we don't know if any of the children who were involved in

:04:15.:04:18.

this incident were attending or have ever attended that school. We expect

:04:19.:04:23.

more details about what has happened here to emerge tomorrow. Next

:04:24.:04:31.

tonight ` There are fears that people living in one of the most

:04:32.:04:35.

remote parts of Yorkshire could be cut off this winter due to a ?1

:04:36.:04:38.

million road works programme, ahead of the Tour de France. The main road

:04:39.:04:42.

out of Swaledale in North Yorkshire will be closed for 12 weeks from

:04:43.:04:46.

February so that it can be rebuilt ` but that means residents, delivery

:04:47.:04:49.

drivers and the emergency services will all have to use a diversionary

:04:50.:04:52.

route over the hills. The main diversion is steep, winding and

:04:53.:04:58.

climbs as high as 1400 feet. So there are concerns that if it's

:04:59.:05:01.

snowy or icy, you won't be able to get in or out of Swaledale. Here's

:05:02.:05:06.

Spencer Stokes. The temporary traffic lights have arrived and work

:05:07.:05:11.

to patch up a rapidly deteriorating road surface I had a rapidly

:05:12.:05:13.

deteriorating road surface and head of the tool difference is under way.

:05:14.:05:16.

But this is just `` the Tour de France. The road linking Richmond

:05:17.:05:21.

with Swaledale will be closed for 12 weeks. The only way in or out of the

:05:22.:05:26.

valley will be on narrow moorland roads that are often shocked by

:05:27.:05:31.

heavy snowfall. So, whether and roadworks could combine to leave

:05:32.:05:38.

Swaledale isolated. 1500 people in peril of being cut off from the

:05:39.:05:42.

Lifeline Road, having to use high moorland roads, going over the

:05:43.:05:48.

fells, to get to the services that they need. People's lives will be

:05:49.:05:53.

put in peril. Doctors and police have expressed concerns to North

:05:54.:05:59.

Yorkshire County Council about carrying out roadworks in the depths

:06:00.:06:02.

of winter. Forcing residents up onto exposed roots. This is the summit of

:06:03.:06:08.

what will become the main road out of Swaledale. At 1400 feet, it is a

:06:09.:06:13.

typical drive at the best of times, but when the snow and ice comes, it

:06:14.:06:16.

is treacherous and frequently impassable. In the last two years,

:06:17.:06:22.

the Yorkshire Dales have experienced long winters with snow falling in

:06:23.:06:26.

March and April. The ambulance service has some 4`wheel drive

:06:27.:06:29.

people to cope with the demanding conditions, but for those relying on

:06:30.:06:33.

their own car, the drive over the tops could be challenging. Extra

:06:34.:06:37.

grip will be brought in to make sure that minor roads are safe and can

:06:38.:06:44.

stay open. We have plans to cover those diversion routes. The winter

:06:45.:06:49.

maintenance will translate to those diversion do so they will get the

:06:50.:06:51.

same level of maintenance and click. We will have grid is out on a

:06:52.:06:56.

regular basis, and we aim to keep the road open just as we would any

:06:57.:07:01.

other route within the area. I would like to see them guarantee a winter

:07:02.:07:06.

greater part of on the Exeter Road across the moor, permanently, during

:07:07.:07:13.

the threat of hostile weather, during all the time that the road is

:07:14.:07:16.

closed. Nothing less than that will do. The Tour de France will turn a

:07:17.:07:24.

welcome spotlight on this valley and the dividend for the community will

:07:25.:07:28.

be smooth, resurfaced roads, but summer 2014 seems a long way off,

:07:29.:07:33.

and getting their could prove to be a difficult journey for 1500

:07:34.:07:34.

residents. Later on Look North. Could he be

:07:35.:07:45.

about to come back to Elland Road? Former Leeds defender Lucas Radebe

:07:46.:07:48.

confirms he's part of a consortium looking to buy a stake in the club.

:07:49.:07:52.

The Children and Families Minister has been questioned by MPs over his

:07:53.:07:55.

decision to criticise the Serious Case Review into the death of Hamzah

:07:56.:07:59.

Khan. Last week Edward Timpson said he had "deep concerns" about the

:08:00.:08:02.

report, which found the death of the four year old from Bradford could

:08:03.:08:06.

not have been predicted. Our Health Correspondent Jamie Coulson reports.

:08:07.:08:14.

Hamzah Khan, the four`year`old child starved to death by his own mother,

:08:15.:08:19.

and his mummified remains lay undiscovered for two years. Last

:08:20.:08:24.

week, controversy surrounded a Serious Case Review that found his

:08:25.:08:27.

death could not have been prevented, with one government

:08:28.:08:31.

minister saying that he had the concerns, while another senior

:08:32.:08:33.

source at the Department of education said the report was

:08:34.:08:39.

rubbish. If you believe that the recent review was rubbish. Those are

:08:40.:08:45.

not the words that I would choose. Today the education select committee

:08:46.:08:50.

commits `` questioned the children's Minister Edward Timpson, about

:08:51.:08:53.

concerns and criticisms of his department. I have serious concerns

:08:54.:09:00.

about the Serious Case Review, not about was in it, the factual

:09:01.:09:03.

elements of that case, but getting down to the deep analysis as to why

:09:04.:09:10.

there were certain assessments, which did not take place. The body

:09:11.:09:17.

of Hamzah Khan was found in squalid conditions wearing a maggot infested

:09:18.:09:20.

baby grow for an infant aged 6`9 months old. Last week the Minister

:09:21.:09:25.

identified what he thought would pen missed opportunities to rescue the

:09:26.:09:29.

family and he was today questioned over the timing of his comments. Why

:09:30.:09:35.

did they not raise these concerns at the point of the Serious Case

:09:36.:09:38.

Review? We did raise some of the concerns. And it was right that they

:09:39.:09:43.

were put in the public domain. This was not about fingerprinting, this

:09:44.:09:50.

was about a serious attempt to get deep analysis of why this happened.

:09:51.:09:55.

The chairman of the Serious Case Review has responded to concerns

:09:56.:09:59.

from ministers in a private letter. Until that is made public, questions

:10:00.:10:03.

will remain about the death of Hamzah Khan.

:10:04.:10:10.

The Bradford based financial services group, Provident Financial

:10:11.:10:14.

is to cut 340 jobs in its home credit business. 78 posts will go

:10:15.:10:17.

from the head office in Bradford, and a further 11 across Yorkshire.

:10:18.:10:20.

The company, which sponsors the Bradford Bulls, says it's

:10:21.:10:23.

experienced a drop in demand as household incomes continue to be

:10:24.:10:29.

squeezed. The funeral's been held in Sri Lanka for the pizza delivery

:10:30.:10:33.

driver murdered on his last shift in Sheffield. 25`year`old Thavisha

:10:34.:10:36.

Peiris was found stabbed to death in his car last month. More than a

:10:37.:10:39.

hundred family and friends gathered for the service today in his home

:10:40.:10:44.

country. A man and a teenager have been charged with his murder. He was

:10:45.:10:54.

a very intelligent person. He is the kind of person, if he wants to do

:10:55.:10:59.

something, he would do it. He would talk to his parents every day. The

:11:00.:11:06.

BBC has learned that the Reverend Paul Flowers was chair of governors

:11:07.:11:09.

at Lidget Green Primary School in Bradford after he resigned from the

:11:10.:11:12.

city's council following the discovery of adult images on a

:11:13.:11:15.

council laptop. Mr Flowers, who's the former chairman of the

:11:16.:11:18.

Co`operative Bank, has been suspended by the Labour Party and

:11:19.:11:20.

the Methodist Church following newspaper allegations that he bought

:11:21.:11:28.

illegal drugs. Ambulance staff in Yorkshire have been lobbying MPs in

:11:29.:11:31.

Westminster over changes to the service. They say budget cuts and

:11:32.:11:34.

plans to introduce Emergency Care Assistants to take on some paramedic

:11:35.:11:45.

work are threatening patient safety. A candlelit vigil has been held in

:11:46.:11:49.

Bradford in memory of those who have lost their lives or suffered hate

:11:50.:11:52.

crimes because of their gender. 35 years ago Julia Grant from Bradford

:11:53.:11:55.

allowed BBC cameras to film her story. Then she was still George ` a

:11:56.:11:59.

transexual whose story began in the pubs and clubs of Bradford. Today

:12:00.:12:04.

she returned to the city as Bradford Council pledged to work with

:12:05.:12:07.

businesses to develop a zero tolerance to trans`phobia and to

:12:08.:12:10.

foster good policies and practices. Ian White reports. It is 35 years

:12:11.:12:27.

since Julia Grant had a sex change operation. Today she joined other

:12:28.:12:30.

members of West Yorkshire's transgender community at a vigil in

:12:31.:12:35.

Bradford to remember those who had been victimised because of their

:12:36.:12:40.

gender. Morale candles for every single person who has died. She

:12:41.:12:45.

returned to Yorkshire to see Bradford becoming the first city in

:12:46.:12:52.

the UK to pledge a zero tolerance approach to abuse and hate crime of

:12:53.:12:58.

transgender people. I am very surprised that it is Bradford that

:12:59.:13:01.

is doing this. If you look at the gay community around the UK, the gay

:13:02.:13:07.

community is 20 years ahead of what the trans`community is, and I think

:13:08.:13:16.

what is happening in Bradford today puts the trans`community in line

:13:17.:13:22.

with the gay community. 30 years ago, Julia was George, a hospital

:13:23.:13:27.

catering manager, who was asked either BBC they could follow their

:13:28.:13:31.

story. The film save me having to explain to every person I met who I

:13:32.:13:38.

was, what I was, and why I did it. For many transsexuals in Bradford

:13:39.:13:43.

today, Julia has been an inspiration. Seeing the documentary,

:13:44.:13:50.

she has paved the way for girls and guys who are going through the

:13:51.:13:54.

transitional process, like myself. I am still going through that process

:13:55.:13:59.

now. The vigil was being held on the international transgender Day of

:14:00.:14:03.

remembrance. There is a very high suicide rate in the transgender

:14:04.:14:09.

community. That will only go down when ordinary Joe public realises

:14:10.:14:12.

that it is not accept able to have the amount of trans`phobia and hate

:14:13.:14:18.

crime that happens. With Bradford on board, Julia now plans to get other

:14:19.:14:23.

cities across the UK to follow his lead, and to take a zero tolerance

:14:24.:14:33.

approach to transgender hate crime. Next, what's the longest you have

:14:34.:14:36.

ever waited for that perfect photograph, where colour, light and

:14:37.:14:39.

subject all come together in a moment? For me, it is about five

:14:40.:14:42.

minutes. For me, it is about ten seconds! Well, apart from wildlife

:14:43.:14:45.

photographers, those who take pictures of trains are among the

:14:46.:14:48.

most patient. And tomorrow an exhibition of the best in the

:14:49.:14:51.

country opens in York. Olivia Richwald reports. The station hall

:14:52.:14:56.

in York captures the nostalgia and atmosphere of railways past. The

:14:57.:15:01.

engines here are captured several hundred times a day. But it is all

:15:02.:15:07.

just a bit too easy to take a picture in you. If you want a real

:15:08.:15:11.

challenge you wait for hours and the cold and for the light to be just

:15:12.:15:17.

right for that one, magical moment, and the photograph which could win

:15:18.:15:21.

you a competition. And here it is. The Scots Guardsmen, steaming across

:15:22.:15:25.

a newly painted Forth rail Bridge. The other finalists are also

:15:26.:15:29.

impressive. Trains on the move in the mist, coming, going, flash and

:15:30.:15:35.

they are gone. You know the types of trains, where to stand, when the

:15:36.:15:41.

light is going to be right, and they must take lots of pictures to do

:15:42.:15:48.

these. You need dedication to find the right spot and conditions, if

:15:49.:15:52.

you have got time, and you are lucky. It is all there. The

:15:53.:15:57.

competition is being run by Network Rail, for the past three years. It

:15:58.:16:02.

was set up by landscape photographer, Charlie Waite. Judges

:16:03.:16:06.

look for movement, colour, composition and atmosphere. The

:16:07.:16:12.

typical real`life photographer is not a photographer who lives and

:16:13.:16:18.

breathes railways. And as a train spotter, but somebody who loves

:16:19.:16:22.

photography but also loves a sense of movement. They want to produce an

:16:23.:16:25.

image that conveys some of their emotional response, because that is

:16:26.:16:30.

what it seems to be about. First prize is a flight in a Network Rail

:16:31.:16:33.

helicopter, and the chance to capture more trains from the skies.

:16:34.:16:39.

A fast moving subject, but an exhibition that this Dane put. It is

:16:40.:16:43.

that the National Railway Museum until next May. Before seven

:16:44.:16:52.

o'clock. She could be lonely this Christmas! The young rower from

:16:53.:16:57.

North Yorkshire practising for a festive season in the middle of the

:16:58.:17:01.

Atlantic Ocean. And not just a pastime for pensioners ` Morris

:17:02.:17:04.

dancers just get younger in Sheffield!

:17:05.:17:10.

First, some sports news. It's been confirmed today that former Leeds

:17:11.:17:17.

United skipper Lucas Radebe IS part of a consortium hoping to buy the

:17:18.:17:20.

club. There are four other people involved in the bid which has so far

:17:21.:17:24.

been turned down by the club's current owners. Adam Pope's at

:17:25.:17:28.

Elland Road now. What more can you tell us? Lucas Radebe, a huge

:17:29.:17:34.

character around these parts, the has a smile that would eliminate the

:17:35.:17:38.

filthy night like tonight, and with regards to lead United fans, he will

:17:39.:17:42.

have massive support. If he does buy a stake in the club, which, it was

:17:43.:17:49.

being suggested on Saturday, his name has been attached to a bid for

:17:50.:17:53.

?7 million, for what we understand to be 80% of the club, which was

:17:54.:18:00.

described by the current owners as visible, who have invested ?40

:18:01.:18:03.

million at Elland Road since taking over last as Ember. Is this moving

:18:04.:18:12.

the story forward? It is, because now we have identified the

:18:13.:18:17.

consortium will include the chief executive of welcome to Yorkshire,

:18:18.:18:21.

Gary Verity, the man responsible for bringing the Tour de France next

:18:22.:18:33.

year. And the other name is the former commercial the rector at

:18:34.:18:39.

Elland Road, Adam Pearson, current owner of Hull FC rugby league club,

:18:40.:18:43.

but he has distanced himself from the bid saying that he wants to

:18:44.:18:50.

concentrate on Hull FC. Look North has been told by Legion I that no

:18:51.:18:53.

significant developments with the consortium have taken place since

:18:54.:18:57.

Saturday, other than Lucas Radebe adding his name to it. Is it raining

:18:58.:19:04.

down there? Let's hope he gets some shelter. On the field last night,

:19:05.:19:12.

I'm afraid York City went out of the FA Cup in their replay at home to

:19:13.:19:15.

Bristol Rovers. Just like the first leg, it was a high`scoring match.

:19:16.:19:19.

Bristol took the game by the scruff of the neck to go 3`0 up, in a York

:19:20.:19:23.

display described as "pathetic" by their manager, Nigel Worthington.

:19:24.:19:26.

City hit back with a late double from Wes Fletcher, but it wasn't

:19:27.:19:30.

enough to force extra time, and it's Bristol who go through. If you

:19:31.:19:33.

follow Rugby League, you'll have enjoyed England's 34`6 win over

:19:34.:19:35.

France in the World Cup quarterfinals at the weekend. You

:19:36.:19:44.

may also have seen this. The delight of one female fan at Wigan, after

:19:45.:19:47.

England's former Bradford Bull Sam Burgess gave her his dirty, and one

:19:48.:19:51.

would imagine, rather sweaty shorts. She runs off with her newly acquired

:19:52.:19:53.

souvenir. She obviously can't believe her luck. The video was the

:19:54.:19:58.

most`watched on the BBC Sports website over the weekend. But

:19:59.:20:01.

Burgess says that he has no plans to repeat the gesture at Wembley on

:20:02.:20:06.

Saturday. I didn't realise the cameras were rolling. She asked me

:20:07.:20:17.

over to the corner of the field. But that was not the case. I am glad

:20:18.:20:24.

that she seemed to enjoy it. And I hope they did not smell too bad for

:20:25.:20:28.

her extra measure mark she seemed to be happy which is the main thing. ``

:20:29.:20:30.

smell too bad for her! I would be putting those on a nice

:20:31.:20:47.

wash to get them nice and clean. Now to another sporting challenge. This

:20:48.:20:52.

one's on water ` and takes place right across the festive season. It

:20:53.:20:56.

involves a young woman from North Yorkshire who's decided to spend

:20:57.:20:59.

Christmas, wait for it, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean,

:21:00.:21:02.

thousands of miles from her family, with just one friend and a rowing

:21:03.:21:06.

boat for company. Paul Ogden can tell us more. Nothing that I have

:21:07.:21:09.

ever done in the past comes anywhere near to the extremes of this

:21:10.:21:12.

Atlantic challenge. I have run thin matters and on some river rowing on

:21:13.:21:17.

flat water. A recent university graduate with the world at her feet.

:21:18.:21:21.

But it is the rest of that will be doing most of the work for all of

December and January and maybe even longer, when she attempts to become

:21:26.:21:30.

one half of the fastest female duo ever to row across the Atlantic. We

:21:31.:21:36.

cannot accept any help from anyone, we take also buys on board, we have

:21:37.:21:43.

to fill trade sea water, and we will row for 24 hours a day nonstop but

:21:44.:21:47.

all time. Lauren is doing it to raise funds for the cervical cancer

:21:48.:21:50.

charity construction suffered a tragic loss of a close friend and

:21:51.:21:54.

fellow rower Eleanor Ellis during their studies together. From the

:21:55.:21:59.

sounds of it, Lauren is going to have a Christmas 2013 that she will

:22:00.:22:03.

never forget, spent somewhere on the 3000 mile stretch of water lying

:22:04.:22:07.

between the starting point in the Canary Islands next week, and the

:22:08.:22:15.

finish in the West Indies. I know that it sounds like a daft question,

:22:16.:22:19.

but can you have a dip in the sea? We can, it is possible, but it is

:22:20.:22:24.

down to the sea conditions. The Atlantic is known for 40 foot

:22:25.:22:28.

swells. I don't think I am going to go jumping into that in 40 foot

:22:29.:22:33.

seas, but if the weather is calm and clear and we cannot see any sharks

:22:34.:22:36.

or Wales about, then I will definitely be having a wash. More

:22:37.:22:43.

people have been into space than have completed the Atlantic

:22:44.:22:47.

challenge that Warren has put herself up for, and you can exceed

:22:48.:22:52.

exactly why. `` you can see exactly why.

:22:53.:22:58.

15 degrees is the Atlantic temperature. It is called in the

:22:59.:23:13.

summer. `` it is cold. Now to knock a myth! Morris dancers are not, it

:23:14.:23:16.

seems, the province of bearded blokes. Far from it, if the "Five

:23:17.:23:19.

Rivers" Morris Team from Sheffield are anything to go by. This team is

:23:20.:23:23.

made up of 20 and 30`year`olds. Mark Ansell is about the right age so we

:23:24.:23:28.

sent him along to the pub where they hold their weekly training sessions.

:23:29.:23:30.

The handkerchiefs have been iron, the accordion is ready, and there is

:23:31.:23:33.

a crowd in a beer garden. It is time tomorrow starts. `` it is time to

:23:34.:23:40.

Morris stands. The folk dance dates back to the 15th century but

:23:41.:23:44.

nowadays it has a reputation of being unfashionable. We do a bit of

:23:45.:23:52.

bouncing and we hang around the pub, it is energetic and it is a good

:23:53.:23:57.

laugh. The people who do we Morris dancing are fairly standard people

:23:58.:24:01.

from all sections of society with fairly standard jobs. It is not sort

:24:02.:24:08.

of geeks work was it a duck in their house, who just come out to dance

:24:09.:24:13.

once a week. There are more than a dozen teams in Sheffield and this

:24:14.:24:17.

group have the youngest members, with an average age of just 33.

:24:18.:24:23.

There are many people from different backgrounds. Just to show what a

:24:24.:24:28.

good time you can have. You're welcome to come down and join us,

:24:29.:24:32.

have a beer, on a Thursday night at the new barracks. They say it is not

:24:33.:24:38.

cool, but I don't care, I am in my late 20s, and I am willing to give

:24:39.:24:42.

it a go. So come on, boys, let's do it.

:24:43.:24:56.

I can tell you, it is not as easy as it looks.

:24:57.:25:06.

Such a promising career, as well! Moving on to the weather prospects.

:25:07.:25:14.

Poor old Adam. Before I give you the forecast, some lovely pictures. I

:25:15.:25:20.

thought this was absolutely magnificent.

:25:21.:25:24.

Keep that which is coming in. `` keep the pictures coming in. You can

:25:25.:25:34.

do it the modern way and tweak me the pictures. Tomorrow, it is a

:25:35.:25:39.

sunny intervals and scattered showers as this low pressure area

:25:40.:25:46.

moves in. We will have a lot of dry weather through the weekend. And

:25:47.:25:49.

next week. At this time of year that means a bit of frost and fog by

:25:50.:25:53.

night, but a lot of fine, settled weather by date. As we saw live at

:25:54.:25:59.

Elland Road, some very lively showers pushing down from the north,

:26:00.:26:03.

some torrential downpours in places, with those showers heavy enough to

:26:04.:26:09.

become wintry over the hills, where temporary accumulations of snow are

:26:10.:26:15.

possible. All of this will shelve southwards, and will lose their

:26:16.:26:19.

intensity later tonight. Watch out for icy patches over the hills.

:26:20.:26:23.

Temperatures in the range between 1`3 Celsius.

:26:24.:26:31.

Tomorrow will start cloudy in the West, with bright skies already,

:26:32.:26:37.

although it will be windy at first, the wind will ease, so we will have

:26:38.:26:41.

scattered showers through the day becoming more isolated, and seeing

:26:42.:26:46.

increasing amounts of sunshine. Let us have a look at those top

:26:47.:26:49.

afternoon temperatures. The average for this time of year is nine, and

:26:50.:26:53.

we are looking at around seven or eight. Things settle down on Friday.

:26:54.:27:00.

The weekend, very pleasant for getting out and about. Frost and fog

:27:01.:27:03.

at night, and sunshine by day. I think you need to be going out

:27:04.:27:14.

more. That's it, we will see you later.

:27:15.:28:08.

I'm Nigel Slater, a cook. And I'm Adam Henson, a farmer.

:28:09.:28:12.

all back in touch with where our food really comes from.

:28:13.:28:17.

You asked me to grow some durum wheat to produce your pasta.
