At what point is unacceptably to wonder if your own son will play for

Yorkshire? I have got great ambitions at the

moment. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it may happen in a few

years' time. The truth of the matter is though, if you look behind every

young promising athlete there's usually a very dedicated and patient

parent. A parent who doubles as a taxi driver and mobile wallet.

Phil Powell is no exception. His daughter Emma is aiming to

become one of the best ice climbers in the world. He takes her all over

the world and has even built her a practice wall which takes up a whole

room at the family home in Burley`in`Wharfedale. Olivia

Richwald reports. While her friends are enjoying horse

riding and dance lessons, Emma is strapping on crampons and sharpening

her ice picks. The teenager is already one of the best young ice

climbers in the world. It is just a bit different, isn't it? From being

out on the ground and having to look up and you can just keep going up

and up and up and it is just a bit... A different feeling from

being on the ground. Down there is Emma's motivator, trainer, the

driver and dad. Nice? Well done. He has also got into the sport and has

built Emma a practice wall that dominates the conservative ``

conservatory. I know Emma and what motivates her. If she went to

another coach she would not get that. It helps that we get on really

well and she is my little shadow. Ice climbing is incredibly tough.

You need to be brave and strong, not to mention being able to endure

subzero temperatures. Emma is already proving she has those

qualities. Here she is at a recent international competition where she

finished third in her age category. I just want to be one of the

best`known people in the world and I want to keep on doing it. Just push

myself more than I have ever done. Competitions are OK but I want to

get on the hills like Ben Nevis and everywhere and get climbing there.

Trying to keep your feet level and think about the triangle. Ice

climbing is still a niche sport and we have had to come to Glasgow for

this filming today. It was a demonstration sport at the recent

Winter Olympics so Emma is hoping that it becomes a real Olympic sport

in either four or eight years' time. That is incredible. Best of luck to

her. I have seen the dolls houses and drum kits in conservatory is but

never an ice wall. Now you like a challenge Harry.

You've done a marathon, a 250 mile tandem ride. What about gymnastics?

You do look good in Lycra. People say I am very bending as

well. Who says that?

Nobody! Well, Beth Sykes from Featherstone in West Yorkshire

certainly has all the moves. And when a friend came up with the idea

of painting her to look like a giraffe, the photo went viral. More

than ten million people have now seen it, as Cathy Killick reports.

A question for you? When is a giraffe not a giraffe? Look closely

and you will see the answer. This is a gymnast from Featherstone although

you can barely see how white it out face. I was a gymnast at gymnastics

club for the majority of my childhood and I never had a social

life because I was always at the gym clubs are all the intense training

and stretching is whether flexibility came from. Beth earns

her living as a contortionist underperformer, her skills take her

all over the world, from celebrity parties to festivals. She is a

chameleon and there is very little her body cannot do. It inspired a

make`up artist to transform her into a jarrah. I was watching her doing

poses and looking at different animals we could base it on so I

ended up thinking it would be a perfect giraffe. The giraffe photo

went viral and got over 10 million views on the Internet which was a

brilliant promotion for Beth and Emma and it was inspiring as well.

Hopefully bigger and better things will come from the recognition we

have gained. We have another line of animals and ideas in the pipeline so

watch this space. With a body that Benji, no animal is off`limits and

the pair are keeping us guessing on what will be next. The giraffe took

many hours to perfect but it has proved well worth the effort.

Harry, it is isn't it? Let us move onto some pictures. We

got a lot of pictures of the moon last night which was beautiful. A

lot of people said it was blood Moon but it was not a blood Moon. There

was a blood Moon yesterday when there was a lunar eclipse but it

happened during the day. The reason it is read is because is low in the

sky. Some parts of America did have a blood mood but we could not see

our. This picture is nothing to do with the weather! I thought this was

quite representative of the weather we have had in the last few days. We

got up to 17 degrees in the Vale of York. Keep your pictures coming in.

Changes afoot in the weather. It will get cool and cloudy into

tomorrow courtesy of a weather front. High pressure will slide away

to be used for a short time, allowing a week weather fronts to

affect us tomorrow for the area `` before the area of high pressure

pushes in. The low pressure will sneak up and spoil everything on

Sunday. Today has been lovely. Plenty of sunshine in the morning

with more clout spilling through the North in the afternoon and we

continue to see that cloud as we head through the course of the

night. A lot more cloud about compared to last night and more

breeze as well. It will not be as cold as we go through the second

part of the night. Temperatures dropped back to six or seven

degrees. Last I got down to freezing. `` last night got down to

freezing. Not a chilly start to the day but it

will be cooler in general. There will be a lot of cloud about and

sometimes there will be some spots of rain and drizzle. There will be a

lot of dry weather as well tomorrow and it will be cooler and cloudy.

Temperatures got up to about 17 in available York today and there will

be quite a few degrees cooler tomorrow. 13 or so. Let us take a

look in detail at the bank holiday weekend. On Friday a chilly start to

the day. It looks like a pleasant day and a repeat performance on

Saturday. Sunday has more cloud with rain in the south`east. It looks

unsettled for Monday as well. That is as far as we go on this

programme. We will have our update at 8pm and I will have the late

programme at 10:25pm. They will be doing cartwheels! Not
