Welcome to Friday's Look North. That is all from the BBC News | :00:00. | :00:00.
Welcome to Friday's Look North. Tonight: Pulling out ` controversy | :00:00. | :00:00.
over why direct flights between Pakistan and Yorkshire will stop | :00:07. | :00:10.
next month. We speak to those directly affected. | :00:11. | :00:14.
Also tonight: Damage limitation ` concern that Tour De France | :00:15. | :00:16.
spectators will damage Yorkshire's dry`stone walls. | :00:17. | :00:30.
I am at the Harrogate Flower Show with these budding gardeners. | :00:31. | :00:37.
And mixed weather for the weekend. I will be back later with all the | :00:38. | :00:46.
details. Good evening, and welcome to Look | :00:47. | :00:49.
North. A row has broken out between Leeds Bradford Airport and Pakistan | :00:50. | :00:52.
International Airlines after the airline cancelled its flights from | :00:53. | :00:57.
Yorkshire. PIA says the route isn't making enough money to cover fuel | :00:58. | :01:01.
costs, but the airport claims it's surprised by the decision. Harry has | :01:02. | :01:05.
the details. Yes, it's a big blow to Yorkshire's | :01:06. | :01:08.
Pakistani population. There are about 225,000 in the region. Many | :01:09. | :01:11.
regularly use the twice`weekly service from Leeds to Islamabad. | :01:12. | :01:21.
31,000 thousand people used it last year alone. But they'll now have to | :01:22. | :01:25.
go to Manchester or Birmingham airports instead, or travel to | :01:26. | :01:33.
London. Spencer Stokes reports. Islamabad, a name that stood out | :01:34. | :01:38.
from the more predictable European destinations served by Leeds | :01:39. | :01:41.
Bradford Airport, but now it is disappearing from the departure | :01:42. | :01:46.
boards, with Pakistan International Airlines saying the economics are | :01:47. | :01:51.
not very promising. The airport disagrees. The twice`weekly services | :01:52. | :01:57.
are the fastest`growing of the airline's services in the UK at the | :01:58. | :02:02.
present. We know the figures and we can see that the passenger growth in | :02:03. | :02:06.
the last 12 months has been 30% or higher. We think they should | :02:07. | :02:12.
increase their services. Six years ago, when Leeds Bradford Airport | :02:13. | :02:16.
were privatised, the Islamabad flights were the first introduced by | :02:17. | :02:21.
the new owner. Since then, they have come to be relied upon by West | :02:22. | :02:26.
Yorkshire's Pakistani community, but within a matter of weeks, they will | :02:27. | :02:32.
disappear. And Yorkshire's loss is Manchester's gain, with two | :02:33. | :02:36.
Yorkshire flight switching to the North West. This afternoon one | :02:37. | :02:39.
Bradford man tried to book one of the last rites, but without success. | :02:40. | :02:49.
I think it was really good in the sense with the Asian community being | :02:50. | :02:54.
closely knit and with a lot of extended family. It is that last | :02:55. | :02:58.
goodbye before people boards and aeroplane and people wanted to go to | :02:59. | :03:03.
the airport to say goodbye. In Radford, the airline's sales are big | :03:04. | :03:14.
business. Leeds Bradford Airport is not as attached to the operator, and | :03:15. | :03:18.
it will now look for other airlines which might continue the service. We | :03:19. | :03:24.
are here to serve the Bradford community and the Pakistani and | :03:25. | :03:28.
Kashmiri community and we will do our best to ensure that services are | :03:29. | :03:34.
resumed as soon as possible. Pakistan is 4000 miles away. Today | :03:35. | :03:38.
if you live in Yorkshire it feels a little bit further. But hopefully | :03:39. | :03:43.
the link will be restored. Next tonight, farmers are concerned | :03:44. | :03:46.
that some of the famous dry`stone walls around their fields could be | :03:47. | :03:49.
damaged when spectators flock to Yorkshire for the Tour De France at | :03:50. | :03:52.
the start of July. Up to four million people are expected to line | :03:53. | :03:56.
the route for the two Yorkshire stages of the race. With no firm | :03:57. | :03:59.
promise of financial compensation from the Tour's organisers, the | :04:00. | :04:01.
farming community is worried they could have a big bill if fans climb | :04:02. | :04:06.
on the walls to get a good view of the race. Here's our Tour De France, | :04:07. | :04:12.
correspondent Matt Slater. I sat mute and once said, we build | :04:13. | :04:17.
too many balls and not enough bridges. These walls are quite nice, | :04:18. | :04:23.
though, aren't they? And even Newton would surely appreciate the fact | :04:24. | :04:27.
that we've nothing to stick them together, Yorkshire's dry`stone | :04:28. | :04:32.
walls defy gravity. But will they survive the Tour De France this | :04:33. | :04:37.
summer? Farmers like this hope so. We hope that people respect them and | :04:38. | :04:40.
realise they are there for a purpose. The three main things that | :04:41. | :04:46.
are detrimental to the dry`stone walls are people, animals and | :04:47. | :04:51.
weather. We hope people will respect them and hopefully not damage them, | :04:52. | :04:56.
clambering over them. With the tour now ten weeks away, the first | :04:57. | :04:59.
foreign team visited Yorkshire this week to test the route, and after | :05:00. | :05:05.
they arrived, I asked some of the cyclists for their first | :05:06. | :05:09.
impressions. There are a lot of walls, a lot of sheep and... All | :05:10. | :05:17.
these walls there, it must be so much work to put those walls there. | :05:18. | :05:22.
Who did it and when did they do it? Would question. I have no idea. But | :05:23. | :05:29.
I know a dry`stone wall who might. I have been told that some prisoners | :05:30. | :05:36.
of war did a lot. They must have had thousands of men. They must have. | :05:37. | :05:40.
But I have lived around here all my life and done it all my life and | :05:41. | :05:44.
nobody has really come and told me exactly who did it and what it was | :05:45. | :05:49.
about. Even I would be interested to know, really. It can be dangerous. | :05:50. | :05:53.
There is a lot of weight there. In a square yard you have a tonne of war. | :05:54. | :06:01.
You could end seriously hurt if you scramble on them. Boundary markers, | :06:02. | :06:06.
shelters for man and beast, historic artefacts. Yorkshire's dry`stone | :06:07. | :06:10.
walls are many things and for a few days this summer during the Tour De | :06:11. | :06:13.
France, hundreds of millions of people around the world will see | :06:14. | :06:17.
them on television. So let's look after them. | :06:18. | :06:25.
Later on Look North: Could this be the weekend when Chesterfield secure | :06:26. | :06:30.
promotion to League One? The family of a man from Sheffield | :06:31. | :06:34.
who's been missing in Nepal for two years has spoken to Look North about | :06:35. | :06:37.
their helplessness. Zisimos Souflas was last seen in 2012. He'd been | :06:38. | :06:41.
planning an expedition on Everest but disappeared. Despite numerous | :06:42. | :06:44.
searches, there have been no sightings of him. James Vincent | :06:45. | :06:52.
reports. Missing in the world's biggest | :06:53. | :06:56.
wilderness, 29`year`old Zisimos Souflas from Sheffield went to Nepal | :06:57. | :07:00.
and had been expected at Everest's base camp, but he was never seen | :07:01. | :07:05.
again. Having a brother missing in such a remote location has left his | :07:06. | :07:09.
family wondering what, if anything, they can do. I do feel useless. I | :07:10. | :07:15.
cannot help. We can raise awareness, which is good, and mainly what the | :07:16. | :07:22.
family is concentrating on now is raising awareness to make sure | :07:23. | :07:25.
trackers do not travel alone, just to make sure it does not happen to | :07:26. | :07:31.
anyone else. Lots of thoughts, from the worst case to the most | :07:32. | :07:34.
optimistic that at this stage it is still very much up in the ad. There | :07:35. | :07:40.
has been so little conclusive information. Be family wants to warn | :07:41. | :07:45.
travellers against trekking on their own and an international charity say | :07:46. | :07:49.
people need to prepare. There are certain things you should do before | :07:50. | :07:54.
you go. Do research on the area you intend to be in. Find out about | :07:55. | :07:58.
local customs and cultures. The Foreign Office have a very good | :07:59. | :08:01.
website which will give information as to the dos and don'ts of what to | :08:02. | :08:06.
do prior to going. And the most important thing is to make sure you | :08:07. | :08:13.
have dropper travel insurance. To coincide with the second anniversary | :08:14. | :08:21.
of the difference, Zisimos's mother is in Nepal. My parents have | :08:22. | :08:29.
obviously taken it hard. My dad is in Greece and he's always saying, he | :08:30. | :08:35.
will turn up next week. Two years after he left Sheffield for an | :08:36. | :08:39.
adventure in Nepal, Zisimos's family know they may never see him again. | :08:40. | :08:45.
In other news, a High Court legal challenge to cuts in concessionary | :08:46. | :08:48.
travel for pensioners and people with disabilities in South Yorkshire | :08:49. | :08:51.
has been launched. Michelle Turner is one of two people with | :08:52. | :08:54.
disabilities from Sheffield to begin judicial proceedings. Protests have | :08:55. | :08:57.
been held after the use of free travel cards on buses before 9.30am | :08:58. | :09:01.
and on trains was banned. Campaigners claim councillors failed | :09:02. | :09:09.
to consider the impact of the cuts. I don't want to be socially | :09:10. | :09:14.
excluded. I want to be able to have the same opportunities that an | :09:15. | :09:19.
able`bodied person has. I want to be able to go places, do things. I want | :09:20. | :09:26.
to attend meetings. I want to make an impact in my community. Without | :09:27. | :09:32.
the bus pass, I am not able to do that. | :09:33. | :09:35.
A multi`million`pound water park for Scarborough's North Bay has been | :09:36. | :09:39.
given the go ahead by the council. The park was agreed in principle | :09:40. | :09:42.
last year, subject to an independent financial analysis, which has now | :09:43. | :09:44.
been completed. Scarborough Borough Council plans to ?9 million to help | :09:45. | :09:48.
pay for the project. It's expected to open in Easter 2016. | :09:49. | :09:54.
Tickets have gone on sale for the biggest ever Tour De France | :09:55. | :09:57.
presentation ceremony. The show at Leeds Arena will mark the start of | :09:58. | :10:01.
the sporting event, which of course kicks off in Yorkshire, and see | :10:02. | :10:04.
competing teams showing off their riders and their bikes to the | :10:05. | :10:07.
public. Some cycling fans have complained about booking and | :10:08. | :10:10.
delivery fees, which can add ?8 to the cost of a ticket. But organisers | :10:11. | :10:14.
say the fees are standard practice and can be avoided if tickets are | :10:15. | :10:27.
bought in person at the box office. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is | :10:28. | :10:30.
among six venues in the running to be named the UK's Museum of the | :10:31. | :10:33.
Year. The open`air gallery near Wakefield has been short listed for | :10:34. | :10:36.
the ?100,000 Art Fund Prize. Last year was the park's busiest ever, | :10:37. | :10:39.
with 350,000 visitors. The winner will be announced in July. | :10:40. | :10:43.
The final line`up of parties contesting next month's European | :10:44. | :10:46.
elections here in the Yorkshire and the Humber has been announced. Ten | :10:47. | :10:49.
parties will be fighting for the region's six seats in the European | :10:50. | :10:52.
Parliament. Our political editor, Len Tingle, has the details. | :10:53. | :10:58.
He don't get much more Yorkshire than here upon the moor. Out there | :10:59. | :11:06.
in the mist of 5.3 million people. That makes Yorkshire bigger than | :11:07. | :11:10.
Scotland and bigger than many of the 28 member states of the European | :11:11. | :11:15.
Union. For that reason, we are allocated six seats in the European | :11:16. | :11:19.
Parliament. And we now know the election will have a crowded field. | :11:20. | :11:23.
Conservatives, Labour and the Liberal Democrats all have current | :11:24. | :11:27.
MEPs as their lead candidates. UKIP has a new face and snapping at their | :11:28. | :11:32.
heels, the Greens and Liberal Democrats, and also the far right | :11:33. | :11:40.
British National party again. There are two new parties. In European | :11:41. | :11:47.
elections you vote for a party, not a candidate. All of the votes across | :11:48. | :11:51.
the Yorkshire and the Humber are added together and the seats shared | :11:52. | :11:54.
out based on the proportion of the vote that each party gets. So let's | :11:55. | :12:00.
take a look at what happened in the last election, in 2009. The | :12:01. | :12:05.
Conservatives came top of the poll with almost a quarter of the vote | :12:06. | :12:09.
and that meant they could have two seats. Labour came second in so far | :12:10. | :12:14.
behind that they could only have one seat. Third came UKIP, pushing the | :12:15. | :12:19.
Lib Dems into force, and then the surprise of the election, the six | :12:20. | :12:24.
seat was allocated to the far right BNP. So what will happen this time? | :12:25. | :12:28.
Clearly it will be very different, because this election is happening | :12:29. | :12:34.
against a very different political backdrop. Look North will be | :12:35. | :12:37.
following this campaign every step of the way towards those elections | :12:38. | :12:42.
in just under a month. Before seven o'clock: It's Rugby | :12:43. | :12:47.
League's Challenge Cup weekend, with quarterfinal places up for grabs. | :12:48. | :12:51.
And the budding young gardeners who've worked hard for months to | :12:52. | :12:54.
make it to the Harrogate Spring Flower Show. | :12:55. | :13:02.
A nail`biting weekend of sport lies ahead. Tanya's here with what's in | :13:03. | :13:15.
store. And I have been instructed by you to | :13:16. | :13:18.
start with cricket! Joe Root has been included in Yorkshire's squad | :13:19. | :13:21.
for their County Championship match at Middlesex at the weekend. He's | :13:22. | :13:24.
been out of action since breaking his thumb playing for England. | :13:25. | :13:28.
Captain Andrew Gale has said he may drop himself to include Root in the | :13:29. | :13:30.
team. Sheffield boxer Curtis Woodhouse | :13:31. | :13:32.
will face the Commonwealth champion Willie Limond in Glasgow in June. | :13:33. | :13:36.
Woodhouse had said he'd retire after his last fight, when he won the | :13:37. | :13:38.
British title. But the footballer`turned`boxer has since | :13:39. | :13:41.
decided to fight on. He says it's an honour to be challenging for the | :13:42. | :13:44.
Commonwealth crown. Football now. And it's a | :13:45. | :13:48.
nerve`wracking weekend for many of our teams. Rotherham United can | :13:49. | :13:51.
relax. Their League One play`off place is secure with two games left | :13:52. | :13:55.
to play. In League Two, York City are hoping to book theirs as well, | :13:56. | :13:58.
with victory against Newport. But Barnsley and Chesterfield fans can | :13:59. | :14:01.
expect the nerves to start jangling at about three o'clock tomorrow. | :14:02. | :14:10.
Paul Ogden can explain why. Just one more hurdle for | :14:11. | :14:14.
Chesterfield and they might not even have to lift a finger. Never mind a | :14:15. | :14:19.
leg, to guarantee automatic promotion this weekend. The key to | :14:20. | :14:22.
their strong position is their big goal difference advantage over their | :14:23. | :14:27.
pursuers, meaning that even if just a field were to lose their two | :14:28. | :14:32.
remaining matches, only Fleetwood can seriously hope to knock them out | :14:33. | :14:36.
of the top three. But if Fleet would lose or even draw at home to | :14:37. | :14:41.
Southend tomorrow, will Chesterfield need realistically from the match | :14:42. | :14:45.
this Sunday at Burton is a draw. Any Chesterfield win from the last two | :14:46. | :14:49.
matches will effectively guaranteed the Spireites' promotion. The | :14:50. | :14:56.
challenge now is for us to stay in the top league for the next two | :14:57. | :15:00.
weekends. If we can achieve that we would look back on a very good | :15:01. | :15:04.
season. If we dropped to fourth, it will be where we deserve to finish. | :15:05. | :15:08.
Hoping not to be meeting Chesterfield in league one next | :15:09. | :15:11.
season are Doncaster Rovers and Barnsley. The job for Barnsley is to | :15:12. | :15:16.
keep their hopes alive for next weekend. Lose at Middlesbrough | :15:17. | :15:19.
tomorrow and Barnsley are already down. For this game, our destiny is | :15:20. | :15:33.
in our hands. If we get three points we take it to next weekend. I will | :15:34. | :15:38.
be delighted. Anything Doncaster gain from their final daunting two | :15:39. | :15:41.
matches against Reading and Leicester will be both deserved and | :15:42. | :15:45.
worthwhile, especially if teams below them, notably Blackpool and | :15:46. | :15:51.
Birmingham, continue to slump. Fingers crossed for all of them. | :15:52. | :15:54.
It's the fifth round of the Challenge Cup this weekend, as the | :15:55. | :15:57.
teams look to take the next step to picking up this magnificent trophy. | :15:58. | :16:01.
The headline game is the big Super League clash between Leeds and St | :16:02. | :16:04.
Helens, but on Sunday, two old friends will go head to head as | :16:05. | :16:07.
Castleford host Sheffield. But on Sunday, | :16:08. | :16:18.
In 1998 the Sheffield Eagles beat the then mighty Wigan. It has gone | :16:19. | :16:24.
down in folklore. None of the match that day is now the Chief Executive | :16:25. | :16:31.
and coach of the club. I am proud of achieving the trophy as well. Having | :16:32. | :16:37.
my name on that trophy as well. With so many great players. This week the | :16:38. | :16:42.
clubs held a joint press Conference. There were no mind games or slating | :16:43. | :16:47.
the opposition. In fact, it was a big loving between former Sheffield | :16:48. | :16:52.
team`mate. The atmosphere will be electric and I will be pitting my | :16:53. | :16:57.
wits against one of the best markers. Really looking forward to | :16:58. | :17:05.
it. An outstanding club all the way through. They have quality people. | :17:06. | :17:08.
They had a tough time in terms of losing a couple of players since | :17:09. | :17:14.
they won the grand final last year, but the way he manages things at | :17:15. | :17:17.
Sheffield he has done an unbelievable job. If they could make | :17:18. | :17:20.
it up there I would be really pleased. Mark Aston is a Castleford | :17:21. | :17:24.
lad and his player coach Henderson is a former Tiger. I have had some | :17:25. | :17:32.
great years here and thoroughly enjoyed my time. Great people, great | :17:33. | :17:38.
club. It will be a tough task for Sheffield. Castleford are in a rich | :17:39. | :17:43.
vein of form this season, but whatever happens on the field, | :17:44. | :17:46.
expect a view classes to be raised afterwards Joining us now, the Leeds | :17:47. | :17:49.
Rhinos forward Jamie Jones` Buchanan. | :17:50. | :17:49.
Between friends. with the Sheffield Eagles at the | :17:50. | :18:07.
moment and we are all looking forward to the game. It was a great | :18:08. | :18:17.
upset in 1998. This is the challenge cup and open for everybody. Leads | :18:18. | :18:23.
Saints, live on BBC TV. You are out injured, hence you are here tonight, | :18:24. | :18:30.
but it is a cracking game. I do not need to remind you that Leeds beat | :18:31. | :18:35.
you a month ago in the Super League. Yes, they injured my bicep as well. | :18:36. | :18:41.
People have talked about than going through a bit of a transition. When | :18:42. | :18:46.
you look at some of the guys that they have got now, experienced guys, | :18:47. | :18:51.
they are on the forefront now and they are fantastic. They have been | :18:52. | :18:55.
great this year. Really looking forward to beat. How desperate are | :18:56. | :18:59.
you and your team`mates to finally get a hands on this? Yes, it has | :19:00. | :19:05.
been a bit of a nemesis for me, brought nothing but heartache and | :19:06. | :19:09.
tears and four challenge cup finals, four losses for me. But they are | :19:10. | :19:16.
fantastic team. A lot of the investment goes into that on and off | :19:17. | :19:19.
the pitch and if you want to win it you have to play really well. We | :19:20. | :19:23.
have to give her and slipped a mention. They are up against Wigan. | :19:24. | :19:32.
`` we have to give `` Hunslett a mention. A lot of our players come | :19:33. | :19:41.
and go there. That is the beauty of the challenge cup. If it was like | :19:42. | :19:46.
that he wouldn't get opportunities to play for teams like Wigan and for | :19:47. | :19:52.
some of those guys it will be the greatest game of their life. You | :19:53. | :19:56.
have obviously got as well Wynton and Featherstone Lee. We're | :19:57. | :20:08.
guaranteed a great tie. Yes. I am sure John Bastian is fired up as | :20:09. | :20:14.
well. Featherstone is a massive rugby league Town. A huge challenge | :20:15. | :20:23.
cup effort. Who knows? We will keep you away from the trophy. I know you | :20:24. | :20:27.
would like to run off with it! Thank you for coming in. Good luck to the | :20:28. | :20:37.
Rhinos. The Harrogate Spring Flower Show is | :20:38. | :20:41.
one of the UK's biggest and most prestigious gardening events, and | :20:42. | :20:43.
exhibiting there can be a nail`biting experience. Especially | :20:44. | :20:46.
when it comes to your work being judged. Well, spare a thought for | :20:47. | :20:49.
pupils at Bainbridge Primary School near Leyburn. They're budding young | :20:50. | :20:53.
gardeners, and with the help of TV garden designer Chris Myers, they've | :20:54. | :20:56.
created a "pocket garden" made of wild flowers. It's taken months of | :20:57. | :20:59.
hard work, as Kate Bradbrook has been finding out. | :21:00. | :21:10.
They say a gardener's work is never done and for these budding garden | :21:11. | :21:16.
designers at Bainbridge Primary in North Yorkshire, it is only just | :21:17. | :21:19.
beginning. They are creating a pocket garden, to be displayed at | :21:20. | :21:23.
the Harrogate Spring Flower Show. They have just three months to | :21:24. | :21:27.
complete it. I have learned how flowers grow, and what colours | :21:28. | :21:33.
flowers have and what they can do and things. It will be really | :21:34. | :21:37.
exciting for me because my crime is a big part of it. She loves it. She | :21:38. | :21:46.
will be proud of me. They are being given a helping hand by TV Garden | :21:47. | :21:51.
designer Chris Myers. He has taken all the children's individual ideas | :21:52. | :21:55.
and come up with plans for a garden on the theme of wild flowers. It is | :21:56. | :22:00.
really important to teach children about what is going on in the | :22:01. | :22:04.
countryside. There are so many distractions in the modern world | :22:05. | :22:07.
that they could easily overlook things that are dying out. They are | :22:08. | :22:11.
the future of the country and they need to know. We are here at the | :22:12. | :22:14.
flower show and the children have not yet seen the finished garden. | :22:15. | :22:17.
Let's bring them in and see what they think. It may only be small, | :22:18. | :22:31.
one metre square to be exact, but it is perfectly formed, and the judges | :22:32. | :22:36.
thought so, too. But what about our own resident experts? They are all | :22:37. | :22:44.
winners and they are now such experts. Hopefully in the future | :22:45. | :22:49.
they will work to protect the flowers in the wild. It is better | :22:50. | :22:55.
than I thought it would be. I like all the wildlife and the flowers. It | :22:56. | :22:59.
is really nice of the judges to award us with this. And after | :23:00. | :23:04.
achieving so much at a young age, who knows what these young gardeners | :23:05. | :23:12.
could be in the future? Congratulations. When those judges | :23:13. | :23:19.
walk`in, everyone falls silent and they are there with the clipboards. | :23:20. | :23:22.
It takes a lot to impress them. I know, and you are were | :23:23. | :23:29.
whispering. I know, and you said you have never heard me whisper before! | :23:30. | :23:36.
There will be some sunshine tomorrow. Sunday does not look | :23:37. | :23:40.
great. But also quite a lot of rain. This photo sums up today, a lot of | :23:41. | :24:02.
cloud. Suzanne says it did not arrive until 2pm there. | :24:03. | :24:09.
Lots of mist and fog across the coast. Keep your pictures coming in. | :24:10. | :24:24.
Tomorrow we will. Off on a wet note. Another band of rain pushing up from | :24:25. | :24:30.
the South and then it will brighten but there will still be the odd | :24:31. | :24:33.
heavy shower tomorrow afternoon. That is because low pressure | :24:34. | :24:37.
continues to dominate. A band of rain pushing up from the South on | :24:38. | :24:41.
Saturday and then on Saturday a lot of cloud being fed in on an easterly | :24:42. | :24:46.
breeze. We will have to wait until midweek next week for high pressure | :24:47. | :24:51.
to take over again, but that does mean cool air. So by Wednesday more | :24:52. | :24:56.
settled, but colder. Through the rest of this evening, we continue to | :24:57. | :25:00.
see outbreaks of rain spreading up from the South. Like today, some of | :25:01. | :25:04.
them could be really heavy nature and thunder be as well. It will | :25:05. | :25:08.
clear away to the North later in night so a drier zone later. | :25:09. | :25:14.
Temperatures dipping back to around seven or eight degrees. Seven is 45 | :25:15. | :25:15.
Fahrenheit. Tomorrow morning, if you are up and | :25:16. | :25:29.
about early, it may well start of dry and we will see outbreaks of | :25:30. | :25:33.
rain spreading up from the South West. A band of rain through the | :25:34. | :25:37.
morning. Sunny spells for a time but clearing the way North. Perhaps | :25:38. | :25:41.
lingering across North Yorkshire into the early part of the | :25:42. | :25:44.
afternoon. Here is where it will take the longest to brighten up, but | :25:45. | :25:49.
we will see bright and sunny spells developing in the afternoon. We have | :25:50. | :25:53.
them well with temperatures this week. On Wednesday we got up to 19 | :25:54. | :26:00.
on the Vale of York. It will not be that warm but 13 will not feel that | :26:01. | :26:06.
bad, 55 Fahrenheit. Over the hills and the West, some brightness | :26:07. | :26:14.
elsewhere on Sunday. On Monday, the rain returns going into Tuesday. | :26:15. | :26:20.
We are here with our update at 8pm and also at 10:25pm. | :26:21. | :26:27.
I want to know whether trophy has gone, because we want to get our | :26:28. | :26:29.
hands on it. Goodbye. at the European elections | :26:30. | :26:55.
on May the 22nd. even though that would wreck | :26:56. | :27:04.
the recovery and destroy jobs. The Conservatives | :27:05. | :27:11.
are now openly flirting with exit. they just don't have the courage | :27:12. | :27:15.
of their convictions on this. They wouldn't lift a finger | :27:16. | :27:19.
to help keep Britain in the EU. So, I'm asking you to vote for the | :27:20. | :27:25.
Liberal Democrats, the party of in. In for the sake | :27:26. | :27:30.
of British prosperity and jobs. I'm in | :27:31. | :27:36.
because we set the global standards | :27:37. | :27:39. |
