Rotherham United are celebrating promotion this evening after a | :00:13. | :00:18.
dramatic play`off win at Wembley. The Millers came from 2`0 down to | :00:19. | :00:21.
secure their place in the Championship on penalties. Tanya | :00:22. | :00:25.
joins us now from Wembley. What a day. What a geek. The | :00:26. | :00:33.
Rotherham United fans have this season got used to an exciting and | :00:34. | :00:38.
attacking style of play but they have also seen a never`say`die | :00:39. | :00:42.
attitude and they needed that and much more to the end what was an | :00:43. | :00:47.
amazing match. It was never going to be a boring match between these two | :00:48. | :00:53.
but it took this wonderful strike to make it 1`02 Leyton Orient. `` 1`0. | :00:54. | :01:03.
It did not take them long to equalise. It was a beautiful goal, | :01:04. | :01:11.
this shot at getting over the keeper to make two. It remained that way to | :01:12. | :01:21.
extra time and so on to penalties. With both sides having scored one | :01:22. | :01:26.
penalty each, this shot was saved by the Leyton Orient goalkeeper. Others | :01:27. | :01:33.
were restored with this save from the keeper of Rotherham United. But | :01:34. | :01:41.
in the end, this penalty save ensured that Rotherham United were | :01:42. | :01:46.
promoted to the championship. There were cheers from manager Steve Evans | :01:47. | :01:50.
after the game and they were cheers from the fans as well, pray, | :01:51. | :01:54.
jubilation and the whole lot of emotion. Absolutely brilliant. 2`0 | :01:55. | :02:04.
down, what a result. Steve Evans is the man. Quite a few of my friends | :02:05. | :02:12.
from Poland have come over for the match today. It was absolutely | :02:13. | :02:25.
unbelievable. Can you believe you have achieved back`to`back | :02:26. | :02:29.
promotions? We will be heading for the premiership soon! And they will | :02:30. | :02:35.
celebrate and party for a good few days, the fans of Rotherham, they | :02:36. | :02:39.
will have an open top bus tour at the beginning of the week and then | :02:40. | :02:43.
it will be down to business as Steve Evans prepares for life and the | :02:44. | :02:52.
championship. A man from Yorkshire with motor | :02:53. | :02:55.
neurone disease has begun a 215`mile coast to coast journey in a | :02:56. | :02:58.
wheelchair. Roy Taylor from Denby Dale is travelling off`road between | :02:59. | :03:01.
Southport and Hornsea to try to highlight how difficult it is for | :03:02. | :03:04.
disabled people to enjoy the countryside. Roy spoke to the BBC en | :03:05. | :03:06.
route. In September last year I was | :03:07. | :03:09.
diagnosed with motor neurone disease. I can hobble a few yards, | :03:10. | :03:12.
but I'm effectively wheelchair`bound to all intents and purposes. | :03:13. | :03:17.
Suddenly you go from an able`bodied person that loves the outdoors, | :03:18. | :03:19.
bird`watching, football, walking, running, to someone sat in a | :03:20. | :03:22.
wheelchair and what you discover straightaway is that all the routes | :03:23. | :03:25.
and the places that were accessible to you yesterday are not today. Now, | :03:26. | :03:32.
this wheelchair, it's as good as you can get, four`wheel drive, | :03:33. | :03:35.
four`wheel steer, but a lot of the places you simply cannot get to | :03:36. | :03:38.
because you cannot get past kissing gates and stiles and steps like | :03:39. | :03:43.
that. The Trans Pennine Trail is reputedly one of the most accessible | :03:44. | :03:46.
trails in England, it's 215 miles, coast`to`coast, but what we have | :03:47. | :03:50.
found is that there are lots of narrow kissing gates that you cannot | :03:51. | :03:54.
get through. You know the A`frames, which are put up to stop motorbikes, | :03:55. | :03:57.
some of them I cannot get through, some of them I need a toolkit with | :03:58. | :04:01.
me to take the arms of the wheelchair to get through. Lots of | :04:02. | :04:06.
obstacles like that, really. It is amazing how much the human spirit | :04:07. | :04:10.
adapts, I think, really. Out of my wheelchair, I never thought I would | :04:11. | :04:13.
say this, I'm actually happier in my wheelchair than out of it because | :04:14. | :04:17.
out of it life is such a struggle, you have to pull yourself up stairs | :04:18. | :04:21.
etc. So it has been a profound life change but the wheelchair basically | :04:22. | :04:34.
is my freedom. I am sure they will do us proud. | :04:35. | :04:38.
Two of our sides were in action in Super League this afternoon. | :04:39. | :04:41.
Wakefield lost 36`4 at home to Warrington. Castleford's strong | :04:42. | :04:43.
start to the season continued with a 34`22 win against Widnes. | :04:44. | :04:50.
In cricket ` the Battle of the Roses has begun at Headingley in the | :04:51. | :04:53.
County Championship. Play eventually got underway this afternoon after | :04:54. | :04:56.
all the rain. Yorkshire put Lancashire into bat. The visitors | :04:57. | :05:02.
reached 87 for 2 at the close. And don't forget today's other | :05:03. | :05:04.
results from the European elections. We'll find out tonight who | :05:05. | :05:07.
Yorkshire's six MEPs will be. Join us live from the count in Leeds on | :05:08. | :05:11.
the late Look North just after ten to eleven. | :05:12. | :05:15.
Let's take a look at the weather now. | :05:16. | :05:22.
Good evening, we will see some showers continuing for some time | :05:23. | :05:28.
this evening but they will dig hobby as we go through the night. We have | :05:29. | :05:33.
been met with some clear spells and perhaps patches of mist and fog with | :05:34. | :05:36.
temperatures around eight or nine degrees. It should be mostly dry for | :05:37. | :05:43.
the morning on Monday but as we head into the afternoon we could see one | :05:44. | :05:47.
or two showers picking up in places and they could be heavy. | :05:48. | :05:52.
Temperatures reaching a high of 16 or 17 Celsius. | :05:53. | :05:57.
Have a lovely evening, joiners at ten to 11. Goodbye. `` join us. | :05:58. | :06:08.
Good evening. Some of us had a pretty good soaking. It downpours | :06:09. | :06:17.
around with thunder and lightning. It wasn't so bad everywhere. The | :06:18. | :06:22.

coast, the Isle of Wight. A beautiful end to the day. You can | :06:29. | :06:30. |
