Good evening, welcome to the late edition of Look North.

A memorial has been unveiled for hundreds of people

from three South Yorkshire villages, who were killed during

Today people in Goldthorpe, Bolton upon Dearne and Highgate on the eve

To tell for the unveiling of a new memorial. 297 men and woman from

this area well known to have been killed. Many of them are `` were

miners. This is our town's history. We have

brought it all together in one place so that people can, and pay their

respects and commemorate the sacrifice they gave.

With a lasting memorial in place and the anniversary just around the

corner it is now hoped people from this area and beyond will come here

Good evening. Many of us had a decent second part of the weekend,

particularly so for England and Wales, rather different from

Scotland and Northern Ireland. We saw our whole rash of showers across
