the future of Bournville - a site that's made chocolate

for more than a century. But far from winding it down

:01:48.:01:51.

the factory has just got a ?75 million boost with these

:01:52.:01:53.

ultra-modern new production lines. It means that daily output

:01:54.:02:02.

at Bournville has now increased to over a million Creme Eggs,

five million bars of chocolate and a staggering 400

investments was not easy. Almost 240 people have left

new models or new varieties of different chocolate that come

out, we will be up there in the pecking order

:03:01.:03:03.

to try and gain some The changes have also left some

:03:04.:03:05.

buildings at the Bournville site empty and according the Modelez that

:03:15.:03:17.

sure that's part of the experience in the long term and we are looking

:03:18.:03:20.

at plans in that space And something else that's been

:03:21.:03:23.

popular is the company's annual chocolate Egg Hunt although this

:03:24.:03:29.

year dropping the word Easter It seems like a couple of people

:03:30.:03:32.

have latched onto a specific But seen in the round,

:03:33.:03:37.

you can't possibly say anything other than Cadbury

and the National Trust Proud too of the investment

the Centre for Chocolate Exellence - the company's global

:03:51.:03:55.

research headquarters. And Peter joins us from outside

:03:56.:04:01.

the Bournville factory now - so Bournville has had a big

:04:02.:04:03.

investment, but what about other Mondelez described their facilities

:04:04.:04:19.

as the chocolate triangle, including Bournville in Birmingham, factory in

:04:20.:04:29.

Shropshire and one in Herefordshire. They've spent around ?2 million

:04:30.:04:33.

modernising equipment. It's part of a ?200 million investment across the

:04:34.:04:38.

UK. ?75 million of that has been spent at Bournville. Of course they

:04:39.:04:42.

are committed to the continuation of supply from UK suppliers including

:04:43.:04:43.

milk farmers in Herefordshire. And with greater efficiency

:04:44.:04:45.

at Bournville, does that mean that part of the production

:04:46.:04:47.

of the Dairy Milk bar, transferred to a factory in Poland,

:04:48.:04:49.

will be coming back Yes, well, this bar is made here at

:04:50.:05:03.

Bournville, this is made in Poland. Macro Mondelez hit controversy when

:05:04.:05:09.

it was found out that things are being made in Poland. He said it was

:05:10.:05:15.

a temporary measure and he says a lot of dairy milk production will be

:05:16.:05:17.

coming back to Bournville. But not good news tonight

:05:18.:05:18.

for workers at one of the two They have announced they are

:05:19.:05:30.

consulting workers on ceasing production of a poultry processing

:05:31.:05:35.

site employing 630 people. These they say the equivalent is ageing

:05:36.:05:38.

and they have significant challenges meeting standards required by both

:05:39.:05:42.

customers and themselves. They say it is a decision they had not taken

:05:43.:05:45.

lightly, they fully understand the impact should the proposal go ahead

:05:46.:05:50.

they are offering 200 workers in other sites across the wets Midlands

:05:51.:05:53.

and other employment opportunities. They say of possible options are

:05:54.:05:59.

being explored before a final decision is made.

:06:00.:06:00.

The Trust which runs Worcestershire's hospitals turned

:06:01.:06:01.

away more ambulances this Winter than any other in England - bar one.

:06:02.:06:05.

Figures from the Nuffield Trust show the organisation closed its doors

:06:06.:06:07.

Making it the second worst performing in England.

:06:08.:06:14.

Amy Cole has been looking into this for us, this result is certainly

:06:15.:06:17.

an indicator of a Trust which was struggling.

:06:18.:06:21.

Yes, I think this report highlights the immense pressure that A

:06:22.:06:24.

departments were under during the winter months.

:06:25.:06:26.

Closing them only happens in "exceptional circumstances"

:06:27.:06:30.

and for patients trying to get treatment in Worcestershire,

:06:31.:06:33.

it meant they had to be taken to other hospitals outside the area.

:06:34.:06:37.

The Nuffield Trust says there's a complex sequence of events that

:06:38.:06:44.

We know beds are scarce, bed occupancy very high, so people going

:06:45.:06:48.

in for elective work and so on, and treatment...

:06:49.:06:51.

People go to A, some of them need to go to the hospital but

:06:52.:06:55.

can't get in, that backs up within A, then in turn that backs up onto

:06:56.:06:58.

the Ambulance Service as well who are affected by the diverts, so it

:06:59.:07:02.

is a whole series of stages and connections between different

:07:03.:07:05.

Well, as Professor Appleby mentioned there, the Ambulance Service

:07:06.:07:12.

is affected by the divert - what does that mean in real terms?

:07:13.:07:16.

It means that paramedics are unable to handover

:07:17.:07:18.

their patients and are forced to record longer delays.

:07:19.:07:22.

You also end up with a lot of ambulances out of position

:07:23.:07:25.

so they're not able to react as swiftly as they might.

:07:26.:07:29.

However, West Midlands Ambulance Service is keen to stress that's

:07:30.:07:32.

it's very much involved in the decision to divert,

:07:33.:07:35.

This is a really complex issue - it's not simply a case

:07:36.:07:41.

of the ambulance having to drive a few miles further.

:07:42.:07:44.

It does, from an operational point of view, put big pressures on us.

:07:45.:07:48.

But the important thing is that we do these things to

:07:49.:07:51.

make sure that patients are safe in the system, so we don't agree

:07:52.:07:57.

We are consulted when diverts are requested, and if

:07:58.:08:00.

we think it is unsafe for patients we will raise that as a concern.

:08:01.:08:07.

And Mr Doherty's words are reiterated by the Worcestershire

:08:08.:08:09.

It says, "On the rare occasions ambulances are diverted away -

:08:10.:08:15.

this is done with the full support of the Ambulance Service

:08:16.:08:17.

and patient safety is at always at the forefront of such decisions."

:08:18.:08:26.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder,

:08:27.:08:28.

following a stabbing near a tram stop in Birmingham.

:08:29.:08:30.

It's a week since 57-year-old Anthony Banting was stabbed several

:08:31.:08:33.

times, after getting off a tram at Soho Benson Road.

:08:34.:08:36.

This afternoon his family laid flowers at the scene.

:08:37.:08:40.

Louisa Currie is there for us this evening -

:08:41.:08:42.

Well, most poignantly Mr Bantings family,

:08:43.:08:52.

including his four grown-up sons, have visited the tram stop this

:08:53.:08:54.

afternoon, where he died this time last week, to lay flowers

:08:55.:08:57.

and read the other floral tributes to their father.

:08:58.:08:59.

Earlier this week, they released a statement in tribute to him -

:09:00.:09:03.

describing him as "a simple man who loved nothing more than spending

:09:04.:09:06.

He was on his way to meet one of his sons in a nearby pub,

:09:07.:09:12.

Their flowers join lots of others left by other family members and

:09:13.:09:27.

members of the community, all keen to express their condolences.

:09:28.:09:28.

It's quite shocking what has happened here.

:09:29.:09:30.

Every time it happens it does send shock waves through the community.

:09:31.:09:33.

And, importantly, what we need are answers -

:09:34.:09:36.

Are the police any nearing to understanding what happened -

:09:37.:09:40.

British Transport Police are leading the investigation and the have been

:09:41.:09:48.

carrying out anniversary checks this afternoon - in the hope of finding

:09:49.:09:51.

They revealed this afternoon they have arrested one man from the area.

:09:52.:10:04.

But they are keen to stress this is just one of many different lines of

:10:05.:10:06.

enquiry they are looking into. This is a protracted

:10:07.:10:07.

investigation, there are numerous lines of enquiries ongoing,

:10:08.:10:09.

and we still would like to speak to anybody who might have been

:10:10.:10:12.

in this area of Benson Road between four o'clock

:10:13.:10:14.

and five o'clock on Friday, or anybody who may be of help

:10:15.:10:16.

in identifying the You can see now this is the image of

:10:17.:10:29.

the man they want to trace. It is a CCTV still, and they want to trace

:10:30.:10:33.

and speak to him as soon as possible. Also, this afternoon, they

:10:34.:10:36.

have been stopping motorists and people as they come and go using the

:10:37.:10:40.

tram network to see if they were here last week, if they saw

:10:41.:10:47.

anything. At this stage people say they still believe the attack was

:10:48.:10:51.

random and that the victim did not know his attacker. Thank you.

:10:52.:10:53.

Two men have been charged with murder after a man was hit by a car

:10:54.:10:57.

26-year-old Gregory Kelly was struck by the black Audi then attacked

:10:58.:11:00.

He was taken to hospital with head injuries and died five days later.

:11:01.:11:08.

55-year-old Phillip Picken and 33-year-old Neil Barnes

:11:09.:11:10.

will appear at Warwick Crown Court next week.

:11:11.:11:13.

The Warwickshire-born actor Tim Pigott-Smith has

:11:14.:11:15.

Born in Rugby, the classically trained actor attended

:11:16.:11:21.

King Edward XI School in Stratford-upon-Avon

:11:22.:11:22.

and performed numerous times for the Royal Shakespeare Company

:11:23.:11:25.

He was also known for his film and television roles, including

:11:26.:11:30.

The Jewel in the Crown and The Remains of the Day.

:11:31.:11:35.

A woman has escaped serious injury, after her car fell more

:11:36.:11:37.

than 50 feet down a steep hillside in Herefordshire.

:11:38.:11:41.

It happened this morning on Jubillee Drive in Upper Colwall,

:11:42.:11:44.

The driver was given treatment at the scene

:11:45.:11:48.

and taken to hospital for further checks.

:11:49.:11:51.

The Green Party launched their local elections campaign this

:11:52.:11:56.

Police in Malvern are to be the first in the West Mercia Force

:11:57.:11:59.

From today, 46 officers are being equipped with the technology,

:12:00.:12:03.

with plans to roll it out to all front line staff

:12:04.:12:05.

More than ?1 million has been invested in the cameras,

:12:06.:12:09.

which police say reduces the number of complaints and provides evidence.

:12:10.:12:14.

A Birmingham mosque has been praised after it managed to raise a record

:12:15.:12:17.

breaking ?1.2 million to supply bread to starving Syrian refugees.

:12:18.:12:22.

An appeal was launched after staff from Green Lane Mosque

:12:23.:12:25.

in Small Heath travelled to refugee camps on a fact-finding mission.

:12:26.:12:27.

The money, raised in just eight months, will provide

:12:28.:12:31.

The charity Human Appeal says it has never known such generosity.

:12:32.:12:41.

This afternoon it was presented with a cheque for more than ?1.2 million.

:12:42.:12:46.

All the money was raised at Green Lane Mosque

:12:47.:12:48.

through gala nights, food stalls and donations.

:12:49.:12:57.

In eight months than the Muslim community of burning and has raised

:12:58.:13:03.

over ?1 million for the Syrian refugees.

:13:04.:13:05.

The cash will be used to supply displaced Syrians

:13:06.:13:07.

Mosque staff visited camps to ask refugees what they needed the most.

:13:08.:13:11.

It was absolutely apparent they weren't

:13:12.:13:16.

told to tell us that they just wanted to eat bread,

:13:17.:13:18.

that's all they needed because, from eating dirt and

:13:19.:13:21.

whatever else they were getting, whatever else they had access to,

:13:22.:13:23.

bread is a luxury for them, even now.

:13:24.:13:25.

The donation from Birmingham is believed to be a record breaking

:13:26.:13:28.

response by one community to a humanitarian crisis.

:13:29.:13:31.

Those who've benefited have thanked the mosque for its generosity.

:13:32.:13:45.

The formal handing over of the donation came just hours

:13:46.:13:48.

after America launched missiles on a Syrian airbase

:13:49.:13:50.

said to have been used in Tuesday's chemical attack.

:13:51.:13:54.

The charity helping to distribute the aid from Birmingham says

:13:55.:14:00.

the international community must come up with a more

:14:01.:14:02.

There are 3 million under siege and we cannot reach them. None of the

:14:03.:14:16.

charities can reach them. If you add to that the other areas under

:14:17.:14:21.

terrorist groups as well, we cannot reach these people. Meanwhile this

:14:22.:14:27.

mosque will launch a new appeal next month, specifically to help Syrian

:14:28.:14:29.

widows and orphans. Thanks for joining us

:14:30.:14:30.

on Midlands Today, this Cadbury reveal details

:14:31.:14:34.

of their multi million pound investment at the Bournville plant,

:14:35.:14:37.

securing its future. Your detailed weather

:14:38.:14:40.

forecast to come shortly. I'm in Stoke-on-Trent where

:14:41.:14:56.

England's women are warming up for the Euros.

:14:57.:14:57.

And Cheltenham's famous Wishing Fish Clock to be returned,

:14:58.:14:59.

Dan's joined me - starting with the Grand National -

:15:00.:15:11.

plenty of Midlands interest, Dan.

:15:12.:15:18.

There are 13 runners in tomorrow's Grand National

:15:19.:15:21.

Well, four of them are trained by two women trainers in Herefordshire.

:15:22.:15:28.

Venetia Williams won the race with 100-1 shot Mon Mome in 2009.

:15:29.:15:30.

She has Tenor Nivernais and Houblon Des Obeaux this year.

:15:31.:15:33.

In contract Bishops Road and Goodtoknow will be the first

:15:34.:15:36.

And the last two runners-up are trying again.

:15:37.:15:41.

Saint Are was second to Many Clouds in 2015 for trainer Tom George.

:15:42.:15:45.

The Last Samuri was second for Kim Bailey last year.

:15:46.:15:49.

But according to the bookmakers the Herefordshire jockey

:15:50.:15:51.

Tom Scudamore has a favourite's chance on Vieux Lion Rouge.

:15:52.:15:57.

And jockey Tom Scudamore has been lucky to ride a dream horse.

:15:58.:16:07.

For the past 18 months, Tom and Thistlecrack have been

:16:08.:16:10.

the most talked about partnership in jump racing.

:16:11.:16:13.

Thistlecrack was favourite for the Cheltenham Gold Cup

:16:14.:16:16.

but an injury meant he missed the race.

:16:17.:16:19.

It did knock me sideways for a day or two.

:16:20.:16:23.

But you can't get too down about them because there's always

:16:24.:16:26.

horses to ride and always things round the corner.

:16:27.:16:29.

than I was expecting or than ever before.

:16:30.:16:37.

But can Vieux Lion Rouge change his luck?

:16:38.:16:39.

He's trained by David Pipe in Somerset and was seventh last year.

:16:40.:16:43.

The eight-year-old has been impressive in winning

:16:44.:16:44.

And he's been the favourite for months.

:16:45.:16:50.

The only doubt at the beginning of the season with him

:16:51.:16:52.

regarding the Grand National was stamina but I think his last two

:16:53.:16:57.

runs, I have got full confidence in his stamina and way he has

:16:58.:17:02.

ground it out, so to me he just keeps on rolling.

:17:03.:17:08.

There's also some history to rewrite.

:17:09.:17:10.

Tom's Grandfather Michael won the National in 1959 on Oxo.

:17:11.:17:15.

But his dad Peter never won it as a jockey.

:17:16.:17:17.

Brother Michael went close as a trainer.

:17:18.:17:21.

Another Scudamore victory would be good, wouldn't it?

:17:22.:17:28.

Between Dad, myself, my brother, my brother training

:17:29.:17:34.

and Grandad having a few cracks at it again after he won it,

:17:35.:17:37.

we've probably had 40 goes between us and only got one

:17:38.:17:42.

it would be wonderful to do but it's very difficult.

:17:43.:17:50.

There are no guarantees in the Grand National

:17:51.:17:52.

but Tom Scudamore will have a favourite's chance.

:17:53.:17:58.

And you can listen to the Grand National race tomorrow

:17:59.:18:00.

And you mentioned a Midlands winner at Aintree today -

:18:01.:18:08.

Yes, Gloucestershire trainer Tom George won

:18:09.:18:13.

the Sefton Novices Hurdle over three miles this afternoon.

:18:14.:18:22.

The horse had a disappointing fall in the Cheltenham Festival.

:18:23.:18:26.

And what does it mean to own a winner at Aintree?

:18:27.:18:28.

Well, quite a lot judging by these scenes in the paddock.

:18:29.:18:35.

But it's far from just racing this weekend.

:18:36.:18:38.

We've also got the Davis Cup Tennis and the Masters Golf,

:18:39.:18:43.

Dan Evans is playing for Britain in the Davis Cup

:18:44.:18:50.

Unfortunately it isn't going very well, they are already one match

:18:51.:19:06.

down. Britain are 2-0 down with three to play.

:19:07.:19:08.

And Warwickshire's Andy Sullivan is going well in the Masters.

:19:09.:19:10.

Yes, he began today in a share of fourth place.

:19:11.:19:13.

That was six shots off the leader Charley Hoffman

:19:14.:19:15.

Could be a marvellous weekend for Andy Sullivan.

:19:16.:19:22.

There are plenty of talking points in this weekend's football.

:19:23.:19:25.

England's Women are taking on Italy in a friendly at Vale Park -

:19:26.:19:28.

We'll hear more about their preparation for Euro

:19:29.:19:32.

2017 in a moment Nick - but first we could still have

:19:33.:19:35.

three teams relegated in League One this season,

:19:36.:19:38.

including Port Vale, are the locals a bit worried there?

:19:39.:19:45.

Very worried, Vale are only two points above relegation as they go

:19:46.:19:54.

to Chesterfield tomorrow, and in that relegation zone, Shrewsbury at

:19:55.:19:58.

the top, and Coventry rock bottom. They will be relegated tomorrow

:19:59.:20:04.

unless they win tomorrow. Tonight we are here with England Women taking

:20:05.:20:08.

on Italy in one of their final warm up games. I am joined by a player

:20:09.:20:16.

who was formally with Birmingham. This is great, warm up in front of

:20:17.:20:21.

these fans of euros. It's a lovely ground, great stadium, and we're

:20:22.:20:24.

hoping for a big crowd, to get us into a good mode for the Euros and

:20:25.:20:29.

give us a good sendoff. The last Euros wasn't greater England but

:20:30.:20:33.

since then the bronze medal at the World Cup and things look on the up

:20:34.:20:37.

now. 100%. We have increased in belief and I think every body has

:20:38.:20:47.

enough as well. We're not going to Euros for anything that than to win.

:20:48.:20:50.

Hopefully everyone can get behind us. They sold even more than that of

:20:51.:20:56.

7000 tickets before tonight. Women's football really is growing in this

:20:57.:21:01.

country. Definitely. It needed to. There are great initiatives going on

:21:02.:21:05.

at the moment and it is definitely what we need, more girls playing so

:21:06.:21:08.

we can have the best chance of sending under 17 is an under 19

:21:09.:21:13.

squads to Euros and World Cups and giving us the best chance to win.

:21:14.:21:18.

It's great like to see at a few of the young players getting some

:21:19.:21:22.

experience. Yes, that is vital. They have been playing really well. It

:21:23.:21:28.

just shows, you play well and you impress and you have a chance in the

:21:29.:21:34.

squad. If you want to come down tonight is a beautiful evening and

:21:35.:21:38.

you can still buy tickets at the ticket office, if you live locally

:21:39.:21:41.

and want come-down, a quarter to eight this evening.

:21:42.:21:45.

Sounds like great way to the evening. Beautiful sky, there. We'll

:21:46.:21:50.

have the forecast shortly. It's been confirmed today that

:21:51.:21:51.

a blue plaque is to be put up at Pebble Mill -

:21:52.:21:53.

the former home of BBC The old buildings have

:21:54.:21:56.

long been demolished - and a new hospital is being built

:21:57.:21:59.

on the site. But for decades, Pebble Mill

:22:00.:22:02.

was the home of some of the country's favourite TV shows

:22:03.:22:04.

- including 'Pebble Mill at One', Top Gear, All Creatures Great

:22:05.:22:07.

and Small and radio drama, I think in this country with

:22:08.:22:09.

heritage we look at stately homes and beautiful architecture but

:22:10.:22:13.

because broadcasting is a relatively new phenomenon in historical terms

:22:14.:22:17.

we forget that broadcasting is also It is part of Birmingham's

:22:18.:22:21.

history, it is part of And in order to know

:22:22.:22:26.

where you are going you got to know where you've come from,

:22:27.:22:32.

and that is why it is important. I'm sure many of you will recognise

:22:33.:22:38.

this. Since 1987 Cheltenham's Wishing Fish

:22:39.:22:40.

Clock in the Regent Arcade has been blowing bubbles -

:22:41.:22:43.

and entertaining But earlier this year,

:22:44.:22:44.

much of it was taken away The clock was designed

:22:45.:22:48.

by the Gloucestershire artist, Kit Williams, famous for the Golden

:22:49.:22:51.

Hare. Back in January, the old golden eggs

:22:52.:22:53.

were thrown away and the famous fish blew its last bubbles before

:22:54.:23:00.

being carefully brought down And so in this busy London

:23:01.:23:03.

studio the beloved fish The eyes weren't working, the bubble

:23:04.:23:09.

machine was leaking into the belly of the fish which was then leaking

:23:10.:23:18.

through the wood and stripping the varnish and damaging

:23:19.:23:21.

the wood underneath. So we've flipped it over,

:23:22.:23:23.

sanded it back and re-varnished it, and we've still got

:23:24.:23:28.

another maybe four or five coats to do so that it remains as shiny

:23:29.:23:32.

as the rest of the fish. And one of the challenges

:23:33.:23:35.

of this project has been the lack of original plans,

:23:36.:23:37.

which no longer exist. We had to work out what everything

:23:38.:23:40.

did and why it was done that way, and I think

:23:41.:23:43.

there have been a lot of people over the years

:23:44.:23:46.

adding to it and tweaking it, so trying to trace that back and then

:23:47.:23:49.

revamp it so that it And then they're rather mice who pop

:23:50.:23:53.

out and annoy the snake. A lot of Kit Williams' designs

:23:54.:23:59.

were compromised back in the 80s due to the budget, so now Kit's original

:24:00.:24:03.

vision is finally being realised, and the mice look more mouselike -

:24:04.:24:08.

with some secret features. As the mice get pushed

:24:09.:24:12.

out of the clock by a piston, the tips of their

:24:13.:24:14.

noses open the door. So the fibreglass will wear down

:24:15.:24:17.

over time, so what we have done is we have made

:24:18.:24:20.

a little removable nose and we are going to cast this

:24:21.:24:23.

in rubber so that it And that master mouse is then used

:24:24.:24:26.

to make a new silicone mould from which all the new mice

:24:27.:24:30.

are being cast in fibreglass, so I'm pleased with that. It's a whiz

:24:31.:24:49.

slightly hairy thing when you take it out of the mould for the first

:24:50.:24:52.

time but I'm pleased with that. They won't let you show us -- ask show

:24:53.:25:00.

you all of the work because they want one they lived later. There is

:25:01.:25:07.

plenty more to do, including a new Sane our hands and the old snake

:25:08.:25:08.

will get a new skin. there will be plenty to see

:25:09.:25:11.

in the fullness of time. Steve Knibbs, BBC

Midlands Today, London. Rumours of a glorious weekend ahead

:25:15.:25:17.

- Rebecca can bring us the details, her alfresco weekend

:25:18.:25:21.

has already begun. I think I'm just missing a glass of

:25:22.:25:29.

something nice and chilled. It has been lovely and warm today. It's

:25:30.:25:34.

still lovely on the balcony. Lots of people enjoying it. We saw

:25:35.:25:38.

temperatures today making it up to 15 Celsius in some parts of the West

:25:39.:25:42.

Midlands. Widely up into the mid-teens. But the good news is it

:25:43.:25:45.

will continue into the weekend. We have more in the way of sunshine to

:25:46.:25:50.

come and our temperatures are going to start to rise as well. We could

:25:51.:25:55.

see them pushing to 20 Celsius. Chilly nights to come as well,

:25:56.:26:00.

though. Tonight it all starts. Clear spells tonight. Temperatures will

:26:01.:26:04.

fall away and we could see them dipping to around two Celsius across

:26:05.:26:08.

parts of Herefordshire. We could have a touch of grass frost. A

:26:09.:26:13.

chilly night and some mist or fog but high pressure still driving our

:26:14.:26:17.

weather this weekend. It starts to draw up some much milder air and

:26:18.:26:22.

will feel very warm as we had through tomorrow. It will be a cold

:26:23.:26:26.

start, some mist and fog, but it will burn off readily through the

:26:27.:26:30.

morning, and a fine, dry day to come. Some places kept the cloud

:26:31.:26:33.

today about limited temperatures. Much better news for them tomorrow.

:26:34.:26:37.

Temperatures buzzing to around 19 Celsius. At the end of the day

:26:38.:26:42.

tomorrow we will see clear skies again. Temperatures will fall away

:26:43.:26:46.

but the milder air will keep them up a little. We should be at around six

:26:47.:26:52.

to nine Celsius as we had through into Sunday. Sunday will be another

:26:53.:26:58.

fine and dry day with milder air sitting right over the top,

:26:59.:27:02.

temperatures could eat even better. We are likely to see them up into

:27:03.:27:06.

the 20s. In the East they might be higher. On Monday a change as a cold

:27:07.:27:12.

front sinks southwards. That will introduce much colder air, so it

:27:13.:27:17.

will feel much different. Around 80 degrees different. So make the most

:27:18.:27:19.

of this weekend. Do you think we could get higher

:27:20.:27:30.

than 20? I think we could. I'll put my neck on the line and say 22.

:27:31.:27:33.

Sounds great to me. Amy Cole will be here with your late

:27:34.:27:34.

news just before 10:30pm. From all of us at Midlands Today,

:27:35.:27:39.

have a great weekend.
