Hundreds of people have joined a peace rally

in Birmingham in the wake of the Westminster terror attack.

The event, organised by local Muslim leaders,

comes as two men from the city are still under arrest.

Allow me to express our heartfelt condolence to the family

It was another show of unity from the Muslim community in Birmingham.

A peace rally in Victoria Square condemning the terror attack carried

out by 52-year-old Khalid Masood, who was living in the city.

We stand with all the British citizens, we will stand

with everybody around the world who are affected by all of this.

Muslims are not like this, only the mad people,

like IS people, they are the ones that are troublemakers.

I talked to them, I discussed with them that there is

a brave policeman who lost his life,

because he is defending the humanity.

He is defending the innocent people, the civilians, so he lost his life,

Speaking on this weekend's Sunday Politics show,

two West Midlands MPs, who were in the Commons

at the time of the attack, recounted their experiences.

I found myself in the corridor, so, I wasn't quite sure where I should

go from the corridor, but actually, we were directed

to a secure room, below the chamber, and yeah, that's where we spent

Two men from Birmingham are still being questioned by police

Six other men and women arrested in the city have been released

and will face no further police action.

Meanwhile, the police officer who was stabbed to death

in the Westminster terror attack is to be remembered permanently

The name of PC Keith Palmer will be included on a new UK

Police Memorial, which is due to be built at the site in Staffordshire.

The Duke of Cambridge will visit the Arboretum this week

and will lay a wreath in tribute to PC Palmer.

Armed police have spent the day at a block of flats

in the Black Country where a resident, who was also

believed to be armed, barricaded himself out

Officers went to the flats in Tower Road, in Tividale,

around ten o'clock this morning to try and arrest the man

The road was closed off while negotiations were carried out.

Hundreds of people joined demonstrations in Shropshire

this morning in support of the county's maternity services.

Marches were held in Bridgnorth and Oswestry

where people are concerned for the future of their local

Health bosses are currently reviewing the units to see

if they are still clinically and financially sustainable.

Football now, and in League One, bottom club Coventry City

made it back-to-back wins, beating Bristol Rovers 1-0.

while Port Vale drew 0-0 with MK Dons.

Meanwhile in League Two, Cheltenham Town conceded three goals

in nine minutes as they lost 3-1 at Barnet.

In the National League, it finished in a 4-2 home defeat

In rugby, Wasps take on Worcester tomorrow in a Premiership battle

which is vital at both ends of the table.

Wasps are hoping to reopen a five-point lead at the top,

while the Warriors can take a big step towards safety.

I've got a lot of faith in this group of players,

and I'm really excited with the way they've responded and

they've come on, and I think they are up for the challenge,

I think they really want to make a statement to the supporters.
