Good evening. Welcome to North West Tonight. I'm Ranvir Singh. Tonight:

:00:05.:00:08.

Manchester will rock to the sound of pop stars from throughout the

:00:08.:00:12.

world in aid of Children in Need. It's one of the biggest events of

:00:12.:00:17.

its kind in the North West and we have a ring side seat.

:00:17.:00:20.

And I'm Roger Johnson in the studio. Also in the programme tonight:

:00:20.:00:23.

On swine flu alert - one of the country's critical care centres is

:00:23.:00:33.
:00:33.:00:35.

based in the North West. When Mike's laptop was stolen, who work

:00:35.:00:40.

-- they were and banking on this man's computer skills. Find out how

:00:40.:00:43.

he tracked it down from thousands of miles away.

:00:43.:00:45.

And where there's money, there's brass. How a legacy has brought

:00:45.:00:55.
:00:55.:01:04.

Hello and welcome to the MEN Arena where 10,000 fans are waiting to

:01:04.:01:08.

see Lady Gaga kick-off this concert in half an hour. We cannot take you

:01:08.:01:14.

in here because it is a closed set. Lady Gaga is still rehearsing.

:01:14.:01:18.

Anyway, hopefully, we will be in a very soon, but later on I will be

:01:18.:01:21.

telling you all about a fund- raising dinner with Gary Barlow,

:01:21.:01:26.

and also find that Howard is one of the most faint -- famous faces in

:01:26.:01:32.

music was snubbed by Stuart Flinders. I kid you not.

:01:32.:01:34.

Wythenshawe Hospital has been chosen to be the specialist centre

:01:34.:01:37.

in the North of England for patients needing intensive

:01:37.:01:40.

treatment for swine flu. Last year the hospital became an emergency

:01:40.:01:45.

centre because of a surge in cases of the virus. Today it's been named

:01:45.:01:48.

as one of five hospitals which will now provide the highly specialist

:01:48.:01:53.

treatment called ECMO. Our health correspondent Laura Yates reports.

:01:53.:01:56.

January this year and the cardiac ward at Wythenshawe Hospital is

:01:56.:02:01.

full of seriously ill patients. All have swine flu. All are on ECMO

:02:01.:02:06.

machines. The team looking after them and this unit set up with just

:02:06.:02:13.

24 hours notice when cases of swine flu soared. There in that ward when

:02:13.:02:16.

we were filming was Michael Smith from Macclesfield. Today he's fit

:02:16.:02:20.

and healthy again. But when he fell ill with swine flu, doctors told

:02:20.:02:24.

his family he was going to die. He spent 11 days on ECMO, three months

:02:24.:02:34.
:02:34.:02:35.

in hospital. From collapsing on the drive outside it and waking up in

:02:35.:02:41.

hospital six weeks later, there was nothing in their apart from

:02:41.:02:47.

nightmares and things going on within my head. I am very grateful.

:02:47.:02:51.

Extremely grateful for all the hard work that was put in and the fact

:02:51.:02:56.

that there was actually a ECMO machine available to me without

:02:56.:03:01.

that we wouldn't be having this conversation. Two years ago, there

:03:01.:03:04.

was just one specialist ECMO centre in England in Leicester. Today,

:03:04.:03:06.

there are five including this one in Wythenshawe. Each ECMO machine

:03:06.:03:10.

costs 30,000. But it's the specialist treatment and 24 hour

:03:10.:03:15.

care that really costs. Which means ECMO beds are four to five times

:03:15.:03:24.

more expensive as an ordinary bed in intensive care. Because the

:03:24.:03:28.

lungs are infected with a very severe pneumonia and they are

:03:28.:03:33.

stiffened don't work properly, they are unable to get oxygen into the

:03:33.:03:38.

blood. Are we trying it out, put oxygen back into the blood, put it

:03:38.:03:42.

back again and the lungs don't need to be doing anything. The hospital

:03:42.:03:45.

has space to look after five patients on ECMO. But they hope

:03:45.:03:51.

that this flu season will not be as bad as the last.

:03:51.:03:53.

A soldier killed yesterday in Afghanistan's been named as Lance

:03:53.:03:57.

Corporal Peter Eustace from Liverpool. He died from an IED

:03:57.:04:01.

explosion during a joint patrol with the Afghan National Army. In a

:04:01.:04:04.

tribute, the army says his "depth of character, selflessness and

:04:04.:04:10.

cheerful disposition" will be sorely missed.

:04:10.:04:12.

The Morecambe Bay Trust has admitted that over 800 patients

:04:12.:04:15.

failed to get urgent follow-up hospital appointments because of a

:04:15.:04:19.

problem with the bookings system. The Trust also admits there are

:04:19.:04:22.

less urgent cases on top of this number who have yet to be offered

:04:22.:04:27.

their new appointments. A club in Preston which hosted a

:04:27.:04:29.

cage fighting event involving children has not had its licence

:04:29.:04:33.

revoked. Pictures of two eight- year-old boys cage-fighting while

:04:33.:04:37.

adults cheered them on was posted on the internet. At the time,

:04:37.:04:40.

Preston Council said it would review the club's licence. The club

:04:40.:04:43.

must now give notice of any event which would involve contact between

:04:43.:04:48.

children under 10 years old. Detectives investigating the theft

:04:48.:04:51.

of a number of poppy collection boxes across Cheshire have made an

:04:51.:04:55.

arrest. Around ten tins with money in were taken from shops in

:04:55.:05:02.

Warrington and Frodsham. A 33-year- old man is being questioned.

:05:02.:05:05.

When Mike Birtwistle had his company laptop stolen abroad, he

:05:05.:05:08.

thought he'd never see it again. The computer contained photos as

:05:08.:05:12.

well as sensitive work data. But Mike from Chorley, and whoever took

:05:12.:05:15.

it, reckoned without the computer skills of Mike's friend and

:05:15.:05:18.

business partner Dave Duffy. Dave accessed the laptop from thousands

:05:18.:05:22.

of miles away, opened the webcam and took a photo of the alleged

:05:22.:05:28.

thief. The police have now recovered it. Here's Abbie Jones.

:05:28.:05:31.

Mike Birtwistle had been enjoying a family holiday in Tenerife when he

:05:31.:05:39.

was broken into. I was gutted. We thought the chances of it turning

:05:39.:05:48.

up again when male. -- won nothing. But Mike's colleague, Dave, from

:05:48.:05:50.

Wigan, an IT expert, had other ideas. Using remote control

:05:50.:05:53.

software, he tracked down the stolen laptop in England, while it

:05:53.:06:00.

was being used in Tenerife, taking control of it. Every second going

:06:00.:06:07.

connection to die or the computer to be disconnected or something.

:06:07.:06:12.

But it didn't. I said, that is brilliant. It as the information

:06:12.:06:18.

and send it out to Tenerife. He said, I am honoured. I am using it.

:06:19.:06:24.

But then they've got cleverer. He turned the webcam on on Mike's

:06:24.:06:28.

stolen laptop and was looking at the man on the other side of the

:06:28.:06:31.

Computer for a stop it was unbelievable that this man was

:06:31.:06:35.

sitting in Tenerife and I was in England and I had control of the

:06:35.:06:39.

computer. The funny thing is the guy turned around, realised his

:06:39.:06:44.

computer had come to life and started battling with Dave with the

:06:44.:06:51.

cursor trying to shut it down. didn't win and Dave e-mailed it to

:06:51.:06:56.

Mike. Dave says he is proud but isn't keen on the headlines his

:06:56.:07:01.

skills have generate it. I will take being called a peak for a

:07:01.:07:11.
:07:11.:07:15.

while. It is great to have won over the criminals, for a change. There

:07:15.:07:20.

is only one ticket in town tonight. All four Children In Need.

:07:20.:07:23.

Back to Ranvir now and her vantage point over looking the MEN Arena

:07:23.:07:26.

for the concert they're all talking about. We were both kicked out! As

:07:26.:07:32.

were all these fans. The funny thing is, who did you bump into

:07:32.:07:37.

twice in the last half-hour? Lady Gaga! We have been trying to find

:07:37.:07:44.

her all day. She walked past you? said hello and she blanked me.

:07:44.:07:49.

can you expect? We have had such a great day to day. We have been dry

:07:49.:07:54.

to chase all these stars around today and it is such a big thing

:07:54.:07:57.

for Children In Need. Last night, there was this charity dinner that

:07:57.:08:03.

Gary Barlow hosted. It was amazing. That Bentley was up for auction

:08:03.:08:07.

last night. The bidding ended a few minutes later with a bidding war

:08:07.:08:11.

between Gary Barlow and a businessman sat at a table in front

:08:11.:08:19.

of me. It ended at 214,000. The business Saul Zadka. But he did it

:08:19.:08:22.

on the proviso that Gary Barlow delivered the Bentley to him. All

:08:22.:08:28.

sorts of a rising money. -- amazing money. Today you have been

:08:28.:08:33.

accosting people. You know what it is like. Stars are very charming

:08:33.:08:38.

for the most part, sometimes grumpy. And then all these people around

:08:38.:08:44.

them. I love watching them. They are trying to protect the talent

:08:44.:08:50.

etc. Here is what happened today when we were out into the backyard.

:08:50.:09:00.

It is all about who is in and out. Gary Barlow is in, it is his show.

:09:00.:09:06.

How was it going? Not too bad. Everyone in good spirits? Yes.

:09:06.:09:14.

Thank you for coming for. Hugh Laurie was in. Coldplay are in.

:09:14.:09:22.

They're out. They were in making sure everything would be all right

:09:22.:09:25.

on the night. They queued from early morning to make sure they

:09:25.:09:31.

would get a good view. We were in as well. We are at the Arena's back

:09:31.:09:35.

gate, which is not as bad as it sounds because all the big names

:09:35.:09:40.

have got to come past us. James Morrison was in. Competition for

:09:40.:09:45.

the best dressing room? I don't think so. I haven't felt that,

:09:45.:09:50.

anyway. Maybe I need to up my game and say, whether Heller's my mind

:09:50.:09:56.

that so for?!. I was talking to James Morrison and he said he

:09:56.:10:01.

didn't like to -- his dressing room. His battle word? It is going to

:10:01.:10:07.

kick-off! You could take him. he looks handy and wiry. What do

:10:07.:10:14.

you do? Choreography. And they made to carry your own back in? I must

:10:14.:10:18.

admit I missed a couple of the big names. That is me and the producer

:10:18.:10:26.

talking while Kenny Rowland strolls in. I may not have got every man

:10:26.:10:34.

and his dog but I got the dog. What you doing? I am a PA. What is the

:10:34.:10:41.

dog called? Lola. Those that borrow in are going to have a great night.

:10:42.:10:46.

-- those that are in. It is Jamie come. We are thrilled

:10:46.:10:52.

to see you. I am thrilled you are thrilled. You on very shortly.

:10:52.:10:56.

Last night you were at this dinner and you did an amazing performance

:10:56.:11:01.

with a standing ovation. What was a lie? Gary asked me to do it

:11:01.:11:05.

personally so you don't turn down a request from Gary Barlow. It was a

:11:05.:11:09.

great event and everyone had a great time. The food was great.

:11:09.:11:14.

What more do you want? It was a great night. Those things cannot

:11:14.:11:20.

not be that fun but that was a really fun won -- one. And what

:11:20.:11:24.

about tipping in the North West? is very important that there is

:11:24.:11:29.

life beyond London and Manchester proved that last night. What are

:11:29.:11:33.

you planning for tonight? What can people expect? On television it is

:11:33.:11:39.

on at 8pm. I am performing with Hugh Laurie. He is doing his New

:11:39.:11:43.

Orleans thing. He asked me to come down and sing with him so I am here

:11:43.:11:48.

because of him. I am happy about that. Last night, he breezed on and

:11:48.:11:52.

it was like it was as easy as breathing to you, singing. Do you

:11:52.:11:57.

get nervous or anything? Yes, there are a little bit of nerves. If you

:11:57.:12:02.

don't get nervous, you are not excited. When you have done it a

:12:03.:12:08.

lot, you know how you are going to do it and it is important it feels

:12:08.:12:12.

like a part of you. Who are you looking forward to see? There are

:12:12.:12:19.

so many people. Pick a name in the book. I cannot wait to see Elbow. I

:12:19.:12:22.

have seen quite a people in rehearsal and it is going to be a

:12:22.:12:28.

great show. Did you know we got booted out when Lady Gaga came on?

:12:28.:12:31.

Crikey, I guess I am looking forward to that, too. It is going

:12:31.:12:36.

to be brilliant and weird as usual. I know tonight is going to raise a

:12:36.:12:39.

lot of money, so enjoy it. Thank you.

:12:39.:12:44.

Later on, we will be hearing from Gary Barlow, the man himself, there

:12:44.:12:51.

is only one man that came -- that can get all these people to get the.

:12:51.:12:55.

Diane has been speaking to him, this is a sneak preview. If Lady

:12:55.:12:59.

Gaga wants to come out of a birthday cake, she can do that.

:12:59.:13:07.

are hoping for that. Exactly for. More of that to come, but back to

:13:07.:13:17.
:13:17.:13:17.

Premier league clubs across the region have built a reputation for

:13:17.:13:19.

working closely with local communities through sponsorship and

:13:19.:13:23.

coaching. But Everton FC is going one step further - it's going to

:13:23.:13:26.

open a high school. It's part of the government strategy to develop

:13:26.:13:29.

free schools - free to attend, and free of council control. But what

:13:29.:13:32.

can Everton bring to teenagers in Merseyside? And what's in it for

:13:32.:13:34.

them? Nina Warhurst's been at Goodison Park.

:13:34.:13:44.
:13:44.:13:46.

You heard right - a Premier League Football club running a school.

:13:46.:13:50.

Details are under discussion but the club says it plans to enrolled

:13:51.:13:55.

those who were expelled or chose to leave mainstream education. What is

:13:55.:13:59.

in it for us is that our fans come here weekly to supporter club and

:13:59.:14:02.

many young people who come here require somebody to intervene and

:14:02.:14:08.

support them at times where it is hard. Our football club wants to

:14:08.:14:14.

reach out and do that. It is all true mystic. Up to 200 pupils from

:14:14.:14:17.

local area are said to be given opportunities they may not have

:14:17.:14:23.

otherwise enjoyed. Some parents are concerned at three schools may not

:14:23.:14:30.

be available to all and that may prove divisive. Plus, free schools

:14:30.:14:33.

walkout side of council control and as long as they meet government

:14:33.:14:38.

standards, teachers do not need to be qualified. The best thing for

:14:38.:14:42.

all schools and Liverpool is that education is organised with

:14:42.:14:52.
:14:52.:14:55.

oversight. Free schools and academies undermine that. If Ged

:14:56.:15:02.

has worked across state schools in Merseyside. We have too many young

:15:02.:15:05.

people in Merseyside who are on the streets and not able to be in

:15:05.:15:12.

schools. This is not about politics, it is about need. Everton's school

:15:12.:15:16.

gates are set to open in September of next year.

:15:16.:15:19.

Staying with Everton for a moment and midfielder Marouane Fellaini

:15:19.:15:23.

has given the club a huge boost by signing a new five year contract.

:15:23.:15:26.

He's become a vital part of David Moyes's team since arriving for 15

:15:26.:15:28.

million in 2008. Everton say they're delighted by Fellaini's

:15:28.:15:35.

decision to commit his future to the club.

:15:35.:15:38.

Across the city, Liverpool's Luis Suarez returned to training today

:15:38.:15:41.

as he faces racism charges brought by the Football Association. Suarez

:15:41.:15:43.

was charged yesterday with racially abusing Manchester United defender

:15:43.:15:46.

Patrice Evra during last month's Premier League match. He's always

:15:46.:15:48.

denied the allegation and his Manager Kenny Dalglish has

:15:48.:15:57.

reiterated that he has the club's support. Before we go back to the

:15:57.:16:06.

megastars of the pop world, a more sedate story for you. Brass and

:16:06.:16:08.

Military bands are an important part of the region's cultural

:16:08.:16:11.

heritage and one man's generosity will help keep that tradition alive.

:16:11.:16:14.

William Higham ran a successful florist business in Wigan and he

:16:14.:16:17.

left almost 2 million to the town in his will. But with a clear

:16:17.:16:20.

stipulation, as Yunus Mulla explains.

:16:20.:16:23.

The historic sight and sound of a brass band will for many of us

:16:23.:16:28.

evoke fond memories of a not too distant past. It's the same for

:16:28.:16:31.

William Higham, who lived near Mains Park in Wigan. The Victorian

:16:31.:16:34.

bandstand would attract him and other crowds, but in the years

:16:34.:16:37.

before his death in 2008, performances were rare because of

:16:37.:16:40.

cost and with that in mind he left money to restore this proud

:16:40.:16:50.
:16:50.:16:52.

tradition. We are extremely excited that his generosity, putting aside

:16:52.:16:57.

some money to pay for bands, so music will be coming back here

:16:57.:17:07.
:17:07.:17:12.

which is something that was very A handwritten note. It meant a

:17:12.:17:17.

lengthy court battle before his wishes could be carried out. He

:17:17.:17:22.

spent many of his boyhood weekends at the bandstand. Before he died,

:17:22.:17:26.

he donated another sum of money which helped trigger this

:17:26.:17:30.

restoration programme currently ongoing in the park. The former RAF

:17:30.:17:35.

pilot flew with Lancasters and had a soft spot for military bands.

:17:35.:17:39.

There is a lot of support and we used to get hundreds of people

:17:39.:17:42.

listening to the band and Wigan. next summer, Billy will as he

:17:42.:17:51.

promised put the bands back in Wigan.

:17:51.:17:56.

From melodious sounds of that brass-band back to the MEN Arena.

:17:56.:18:05.

We can see the crowd starting to pylon.

:18:05.:18:10.

They keep screaming and I keep turning around but nothing seems to

:18:10.:18:15.

be happening. I am joined by the Chief Executive of BBC Children in

:18:15.:18:19.

Need. How much of a coup is this for the north-west and Children in

:18:20.:18:23.

Need? It is great to be able to bring a night like tonight to

:18:23.:18:27.

Manchester. Further 30 years this has been going, we have had

:18:27.:18:31.

incredible support from people on the north-west. We have a galaxy of

:18:31.:18:35.

stars tonight to say thank you and to encourage people to do their own

:18:35.:18:43.

fund-raising. It is important for us to be here. How big and ask

:18:43.:18:47.

visit to get international stars like this? To get them to come away

:18:47.:18:51.

from London and come to Manchester. It has been really important to

:18:51.:18:55.

have had Gary Barlow's support. He has been critical and making it

:18:55.:19:01.

happen. When you say it is Children in Need and it is for the

:19:01.:19:04.

disadvantaged and disabled and the neglected and abused children of

:19:04.:19:08.

the UK, that get people here and that is why everyone is here

:19:08.:19:13.

tonight. I am sure donations will flood into night as well. Tomorrow

:19:13.:19:19.

night as well, the big night. We were both at this Dalal last night

:19:19.:19:25.

and so Terry Wogan went on stage last night. There was a real

:19:25.:19:30.

Northern feel to the whole thing. That is quite unusual. It was

:19:30.:19:36.

important because we're really proud of Children in Need's roots

:19:36.:19:42.

in the heart of communities across England and the UK. People in the

:19:42.:19:50.

auditorium and on BBC won the war watch tonight. You said earlier

:19:50.:19:58.

that Kelly role and was heartbroken by her snub earlier. I am sure he

:19:59.:20:03.

will make a personal apology. think he has ordered the flowers.

:20:03.:20:09.

Enjoy the show tonight and tomorrow, I wish you all the best. We should

:20:09.:20:12.

you a tiny bit of Gary Barlow earlier on. Here is more of that

:20:12.:20:22.
:20:22.:20:27.

He is the man with the Midas touch. With this huge concert, he hopes he

:20:27.:20:32.

has. I often ask the question myself, who am I to get all these

:20:32.:20:38.

people together? Someone has to do it and we're going to make two or

:20:38.:20:43.

three million pounds tonight. I love it. I love being involved with

:20:43.:20:53.
:20:53.:21:01.

all the acts. There are a few small names - Lady Gaga. Coldplay.

:21:01.:21:07.

Michael Buble. Elbow. As soon as people hear the words, Children in

:21:07.:21:15.

Need, they are on. They will do whatever you what. Coldplay are

:21:15.:21:25.
:21:25.:21:26.

doing three songs tonight. One thing I always try and do when

:21:26.:21:30.

putting on an event like this is to sit face-to-face with the artists.

:21:30.:21:34.

They will tell you what they want to do and if Lady Gaga wants to

:21:34.:21:39.

come out of a birthday cake, that is what she will do. That is what

:21:39.:21:44.

we're hoping for. Everyone has a three rain tonight and I think

:21:44.:21:54.
:21:54.:21:54.

we'll see some amazing performance since. -- performances. Anything

:21:54.:21:59.

could happen and it usually does. Behind every great man it is a

:21:59.:22:04.

great woman taking at least half the strain. I have done one before

:22:04.:22:10.

and learnt my lesson at the time. I learned to be honest with the acts

:22:10.:22:16.

and you have to be strict about them getting off the stage.

:22:16.:22:22.

actually did do that? I did do that because he started playing his back

:22:22.:22:26.

catalogue and everyone was happy to sit and listen to Paul McCartney

:22:26.:22:33.

play but we had another 20 acts to rehearse. I went over and put the

:22:34.:22:41.

piano lid down. I think it is unlikely she will cut Gary's

:22:41.:22:47.

performance. I am going to perform and am really looking forward to it.

:22:47.:22:53.

I have to remind myself I am a sinner so I am going to do a song

:22:53.:22:59.

tonight. The best bet is that is in Manchester. It is up north, north-

:22:59.:23:09.
:23:09.:23:10.

west you become. -- here we come.

:23:10.:23:15.

What an absolute gentleman. You're in trouble because what was

:23:15.:23:20.

happening outside? All these vans pulled up... One pulled up with

:23:20.:23:30.
:23:30.:23:31.

darkened windows and my cameraman said it was empty. It turns out it

:23:31.:23:41.
:23:41.:23:42.

was was MT. It was very funny but great fun. You can really says that

:23:42.:23:48.

everyone has really embraced this tonight and it will be amazing.

:23:48.:23:54.

These people have been queuing up so is very early to get in. You're

:23:54.:24:04.
:24:04.:24:08.

off to go and write you're sorry not to Kelly Rowland. Gary Barlow

:24:08.:24:14.

remembered me from a long time ago, 20 years ago. He walked in and said

:24:14.:24:24.
:24:24.:24:25.

you have taken me back 20 years, Over the next couple of days, a

:24:25.:24:30.

very mild. No problem in terms of temperatures falling a way. Tonight

:24:30.:24:35.

will turn wet for some and windy for most of us. A very nice day in

:24:35.:24:40.

most places with plenty of sunshine. Over my shoulder you can see the

:24:40.:24:45.

line have been working its way in. The 6pm picture does not look

:24:45.:24:48.

threatening but over the next couple of hours, it will become

:24:48.:24:54.

more active and try to move into parts of the north-west. Over the

:24:54.:25:00.

Pennines, it will slow down a little bit. Some of the bursts of

:25:00.:25:05.

rain for parts of Cumbria and Lancashire could be heavy. Not a

:25:05.:25:09.

huge amount of rain everywhere else but the ground could be damp

:25:09.:25:14.

tomorrow morning. Maybe not too much rain but the wind will

:25:14.:25:19.

gradually start to pick up towards the early hours. Towards the dawn

:25:19.:25:25.

period, it could touch gale force around coasts and Hell's so it

:25:25.:25:35.
:25:35.:25:36.

could be windy in the early hours. -- hills. No worries about frost

:25:36.:25:42.

and temperature should be around double figures. Tomorrow morning,

:25:42.:25:50.

not a pretty start as you can still see some do is Olli Rehn hanging

:25:50.:25:57.

around. It will move north and leave the region. We are looking

:25:57.:26:02.

for an improvement and here it comes. By late morning, it should

:26:02.:26:06.

have left most places and the cloud cover both in and break and the

:26:06.:26:14.

sunshine will work its way through it. Still a pretty nice day. A

:26:14.:26:18.

little more cloud around the Pennines but it will not spoil the

:26:18.:26:23.

day. Even though it is blustery, the wind will come from the south

:26:23.:26:29.

and south-west so towards the middle part of the day, the

:26:29.:26:34.

temperatures will peak at around 13 Celsius. That will feel nice with a

:26:34.:26:39.

couple of hours of sunshine. Over the next couple of days, and mixed

:26:39.:26:47.

bag. Most days will be dry up and as I said before, temperatures will

:26:47.:26:56.

stay in double figures. For those with a ringside seat at the MEN

:26:56.:27:01.

Arena, at the Aaron for the night of their lives. I great event for

:27:01.:27:11.
:27:11.:27:13.

Manchester. You will get to enjoy Manchester. You will get to enjoy

:27:13.:27:20.

it live on the BBC. I hope Lady Gaga is not wearing meet because
