Good evening. A man's been charged with mtrder

following the death of a two`year`old girl in Blackpool.

Kasey Hambleton died after suffering a number of serious injuries.

lost her fight for life yesterday after she and another child were

found at a house in the resort on Thursday. Liam O'Donoghue rdports:.

Poignant floral tributes in memory of Kasey Hambleton outside the house

on Granby Avenue where the child was found. She was taken to Blackpool

Victoria Hospital in a crithcal condition before being transferred

by air ambulance to Liverpool's Alder Hey Children's hospit`l, where

she later died. Another child, a one`year`old toddler, was also taken

to hospital. She was found to have bruising and is not in a serious

condition. Connor Gibson, aged twenty three from Melrose Avenue in

Blackpool will appear beford the town's magistrates tomorrow.

Detectives want anyone with information about the days leading

up to Kasey's death to come forward. The Ribble Valley MP Nigel Dvans

says he considered suicide before the trial which cleared him of a

string of sex offences. The former Commons Deputy Speaker has told a

national newspaper he was under so much pressure he thought about

killing himself. Mr Evans is now calling on the Crown Prosecttion

Service to pay his one hundred and thirty thousand pound legal bill.

11 months that I have gone through, nothing will ever be the sale again.

Nigel Evans described the experience as "absolute Hell". And tod`y he was

asked if he contemplated suhcide. "Yes, in my darkest moments. The

pressure and despair were so great. Everything had gone that was dear to

me", he told The Mail on friend and former MP, Edwin` Currie,

says she's not surprised. The kind of hell that he has been put

through, by people that he says he believed were his friends, `dding

that makes you question whether it is worth going on. Justice cost the

MP ?130,000 in legal fees. Dvery penny is gone.

But experts point out it was the coalition government which changed

the law. I think it is unfahr and he is right about that. But it is

parliament that decided that acquitted defendants would not get

their costs returned. But ddspite it all, the MP's confirmed he wants to

continue representing the Rhbble Valley beyond the general election.

A ceremony to honour the 96 fans who died at Hillsborough took place at

Anfield this afternoon ahead of Tuesday's twenty fifth anniversary.

Dalglish and Ian Rush. Both sets of supporters paid their respects by

observing a minute's silencd. Yunus Mulla reports.

It was an important game on the pitch, but also on the eve of the

25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. Before kick`off, football

legends from both sides remdmbered the 96 who died. A mosaic w`s in

place for the impeccably observed minute silence, as it has bden

observed all weekend. Everybody is starting to realise that cotld have

been anybody. Not just Liverpool, any team. Earlier, a five c`me

running to honour the 96 was launched. Mel C will be takhng part

next year. `` 5k. You don't have to take part, it can be a fun run. It

is a great way of remembering the people who died. That announcement

coincided with the start of the annual Hillsborough to Anfidld run.

This year the route has been reversed to coincide with the 2 th

anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy. We hope to get there at

2pm, get changed and attend the service before laying a wre`th. The

city will now prepare to mark the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough

next week. Well, as you've probably he`rd, the

match itself turned out to be a huge boost for Liverpool's title hopes.

They beat Manchester City 3`2. Raheem Sterling gave the Reds an

early lead, and a Martyn Skhrtel header made it two nil. Aftdr the

break David Silva made it two`one, and minutes later a Glen Johnson

own`goal made it two`all. Btt a mistake from Vincent Kompanx allowed

Phillipe Coutinho to fire home the winning goal: we do not do `nything

easier Liverpool. But we can win it now. Absolutely.

evening. It has been a quiet end to the weekend. A lot of cloud around,

but it will be chopped up tonight. Staying dry all day long and will be

more in the way of sunshine. Showers around the moment, moving away. The

skies were clear. Not particularly cold. We will get temperatures down

to around five or six. Tomorrow morning, dry and rights to start.

Cloud continuing to thin and break through the morning. Lots of

sunshine to enjoy into the afternoon. Staying dry all day long.

Feeling chilly with temperatures at ten or 11 degrees. But it whll be

warming up as we had through the week.

We got to 17 degrees in the sunshine in London and many places enjoyed a

pleasant day. A different story for the zero wherein was quite wet and
