Hart say a good response to a Crimewatch appeal has given them a

glimmer of hope that his killer will be found. Robert died after being

attacked at the Parklife music festival in Heaton Park six weeks

ago. After the case was highlighted in last night's programme, several

potential witnesses contactdd the police. They say evidence

new witnesses could prove invaluable. Naomi Cornwell reports.

Robert Hart bought tickets to the Parklife Weekender as a surprise for

his girlfriend Gemma. We just sat there and spoke to people and had

pictures taken with them. Wd just had a lovely time together. Just

talking. Crimewatch featured a reconstruction of the moment when an

argument near the main stagd turned into a scuffle. Robert! Somdbody,

help me! Robert suffered a bleed on the rain and died in hospit`l five

days later. `` on the brain. Detectives are still trying to

identify the man suspected of attacking him. But last night,

police revealed potential witnesses. Remembdr,

detectives wanted to come forward and identifx

themselves. Several of thosd have done that. And we have had `

possible 20 names for that suspect. This afternoon, Greater Manchester

Police said that, as a result of the appeal, they now have only these

four potential witnesses yet to identify. They are expecting to

receive new video footage and pictures from the area wherd Robert

was attacked. I can say that, at this moment, the person responsible

has not contacted the policd. And I would appeal to him to do so.

Robert's family still haven't been able to arrange his funeral. They

say the response to the programme has given them a glimmer of hope.

That somebody will be honest and come forward. Somebody that may be

their mum or their grandmother. That maybe understands what I am going

through, as Robert's mum. Even if he went to bed on a low note, or

something he wasn't happy about he woke up and he would say, what a

great day to be alive. He loved life. They hope others will now come

forward with information th`t leads to his cooler.
