We did not want to hear that. That is all

:00:00.:00:00.

Welcome to North West Tonight with Roger Johnson

:00:00.:00:08.

Talks to avert a strike by baggage handlers at Manchester Airport

:00:09.:00:12.

They're threatening to walk out for 48 hours before Christmas Day.

:00:13.:00:17.

Blazing a trail - how Timothy's new job proves

:00:18.:00:21.

the value of Down's Syndrome employees in the workplace.

:00:22.:00:24.

It's made me proud, how I'm working here.

:00:25.:00:28.

Thirsty work - the 200-year-old brewery tradition looking

:00:29.:00:33.

I love beer, so what more could a man want?

:00:34.:00:42.

How a little boy's memory is kept alive -

:00:43.:00:47.

by the dad they call the Chocolate Orange Man.

:00:48.:01:02.

Talks will be held tomorrow to try to prevent a strike

:01:03.:01:04.

Which threatens to disrupt Christmas holidaymakers

:01:05.:01:12.

over what's expected to be the busiest Christmas

:01:13.:01:13.

who're employed by Swissport - are planning to strike

:01:14.:01:18.

More than half a million passengers are expected to pass

:01:19.:01:22.

through the airport over the holiday period.

:01:23.:01:25.

What's this all about? the airport for us.

:01:26.:01:38.

What's this all about? It's about to pay. Baggage handlers

:01:39.:01:44.

here, have rejected a three-year deal worth over 3.5%. The union says

:01:45.:01:52.

it barely keeps pace with inflation. The dispute has been compounded,

:01:53.:02:03.

they say... While the company at the centre of the dispute have produced

:02:04.:02:06.

their own statement... supposed to be the busiest Christmas

:02:07.:02:28.

at the airport they have ever had, what is the impact likely to be on

:02:29.:02:32.

passengers? It is a very busy time of the year

:02:33.:02:38.

these days - 640,000 passengers expected through

:02:39.:02:42.

a year over the Christmas period. Bob 22 are sent on last year. In

:02:43.:02:48.

Liverpool they are expecting the numbers to go up ten at present on

:02:49.:02:51.

last year. Whether you will be affected on this partly depends on

:02:52.:02:56.

where you are flying from. In Liverpool they do employee baggage

:02:57.:03:01.

handlers from Swissport, but it's different union and they are not

:03:02.:03:04.

expected to strike. Here, it may depend on who you're flying with.

:03:05.:03:11.

Many airlines have contracts with Swissport, and of course the strike

:03:12.:03:15.

is due to start on Thursday night at the night, going into Friday

:03:16.:03:19.

morning, and end Christmas Eve, midnight into Christmas Day morning.

:03:20.:03:24.

Not guaranteed it is going to happen, there are talks planned?

:03:25.:03:28.

That is the good news. Talks tomorrow that may avert the strike.

:03:29.:03:34.

But I hate to be the bearer of bad news at this time of year, there are

:03:35.:03:39.

mind if you're travelling, there are two other national dispute looming,

:03:40.:03:44.

cabin crew going on strike over Christmas, and Virgin Atlantic

:03:45.:03:50.

pilots on a work to rule. So if you are going to seeks Sunshine by Ed

:03:51.:03:54.

this Christmas, there are a few problems that may affect you.

:03:55.:03:59.

We will follow those talks with interest tomorrow bring you any

:04:00.:04:01.

resolution tomorrow night. A Greater Manchester charity

:04:02.:04:02.

has launched a mission to provide aid to thousands

:04:03.:04:04.

of people fleeing Aleppo. As the city's being evacuated

:04:05.:04:06.

under a truce deal, Up to 16,000 people are expected

:04:07.:04:08.

to arrive in nearby Azaz, where the charity Human Appeal

:04:09.:04:12.

is building tents Rehan Salim from the charity

:04:13.:04:15.

is here, he's in charge Thank you very much for coming in.

:04:16.:04:30.

When you speak to people who are volunteering and helping your

:04:31.:04:34.

charity on the ground, what are they saying? What conditions are these

:04:35.:04:38.

people coming from and how are they arriving?

:04:39.:04:41.

Unfortunately, at the moment, I think approximately 8000 people have

:04:42.:04:46.

left from inside Aleppo. The word from a ground teams is that people

:04:47.:04:50.

are leaving with only the clothes on their backs. They are carrying what

:04:51.:04:53.

they can carry in terms of foodstuff, etc.

:04:54.:04:59.

, They are going through dire conditions, in the winter it gets

:05:00.:05:03.

down to around minus four degrees. People are freezing, they don't have

:05:04.:05:08.

any food, there are no medical clinics around. People are

:05:09.:05:13.

struggling making their way to Azaz. 8000 people a lot to descend on one

:05:14.:05:18.

area, heady couple that matter people?

:05:19.:05:22.

That is the issue, and they're expecting maybe another 30-40,000

:05:23.:05:29.

people to come out. We're working in terms of providing hot food meals,

:05:30.:05:33.

particular when people are coming from this area. Lack of food and

:05:34.:05:39.

water, providing 5000 meals per day. One of the big concerns for

:05:40.:05:43.

ourselves is that a good four to present of those leaving our

:05:44.:05:49.

children. The children are many without their parents. Someone get

:05:50.:05:51.

to Azaz, they don't have anyone there. This is a concern for people

:05:52.:05:57.

like yourself who are focusing on children.

:05:58.:06:01.

Is it safe where this camp is? Reports are saying because it led is

:06:02.:06:06.

right next to Aleppo, there is potential this could be the next

:06:07.:06:11.

target in terms of the regime. This is something we're preparing for,

:06:12.:06:16.

but for the time being, our operations are happening.

:06:17.:06:19.

We saw your providing shelter and food, what can people here do?

:06:20.:06:27.

So far, we've had such great reaction to the Aleppo appeal, I

:06:28.:06:33.

think the first three days we raised around ?250,000, that is a testament

:06:34.:06:37.

UK. People are feeling it, with the UK. People are feeling it, with the

:06:38.:06:44.

Facebook videos. I think people feel a responsibility, and it is very

:06:45.:06:47.

heart-warming. That is amazing, a huge amount of

:06:48.:06:50.

money in a short amount of time. We wish you well with more fundraising,

:06:51.:06:54.

people can look at your Facebook site.

:06:55.:06:59.

You can donate online as well. Thank you very much indeed.

:07:00.:07:02.

Three men have been jailed for causing the death of a van

:07:03.:07:05.

James Ray was found with serious head injuries after a gang of men

:07:06.:07:10.

stole his transit van at an industrial estate

:07:11.:07:12.

It is thought that he fell or was thrown from the moving

:07:13.:07:15.

Patrick John McDonagh and Martin Ward were sentenced

:07:16.:07:20.

to a combined total of 21 years for manslaughter and

:07:21.:07:22.

A third man, Patrick Joseph Cawley, was also sentenced for five years.

:07:23.:07:26.

A man and a woman in their 20s have been arrested after a baby was found

:07:27.:07:30.

with life-threatening injuries in Cumbria.

:07:31.:07:31.

On Saturday, police received a report a young baby in Barrow

:07:32.:07:34.

The baby is in a critical condition in hospital.

:07:35.:07:39.

The man and woman have been questioned on suspicion of grievous

:07:40.:07:41.

A Warrington-based housing association has signed

:07:42.:07:46.

a ?2.5 billion deal to build thousands of flat-pack

:07:47.:07:49.

Your Housing Group is linking up with the

:07:50.:07:53.

Chinese National Building Company to build factories in the UK to

:07:54.:07:56.

It's expected at least one of the factories will be

:07:57.:08:02.

Timothy Broadhurst loves playing sport and socialising with friends.

:08:03.:08:13.

Now, thanks to a new scheme, he's become a valued member of staff

:08:14.:08:19.

at the head office of shoe repair firm Timpson in Manchester.

:08:20.:08:22.

Timothy Broadhurst is 25, and has been working

:08:23.:08:27.

It's down to DS WorkFit, an organisation which helps

:08:28.:08:32.

employers to connect with people with Down's syndrome.

:08:33.:08:36.

This is one of my jobs, car park managing.

:08:37.:08:40.

This is the postroom, where I sought the post out.

:08:41.:08:47.

When he first started, his colleagues were given additional

:08:48.:08:49.

training to understand the challenges facing someone

:08:50.:08:50.

One of the main objects for us is finding a manager who really

:08:51.:08:56.

wants to employ someone who has Down's syndrome.

:08:57.:09:05.

Although his colleagues insist he's treated

:09:06.:09:07.

He just seems to get in and get on with it, kind of thing.

:09:08.:09:11.

Every so often he might need an arm round his shoulder or even

:09:12.:09:14.

And earlier this year, Timothy received a special award

:09:15.:09:19.

Presented by none other than Coronation Street

:09:20.:09:22.

Can I have a pork and turkey, please?

:09:23.:09:30.

It's made me proud, how I'm working here.

:09:31.:09:38.

A fun-loving character to have around the building.

:09:39.:09:43.

Timpson has an opportunities for all policy, and considers anyone

:09:44.:09:48.

for a role, as long as they're able to do it.

:09:49.:09:50.

After seeing Timothy successfully hold down a job,

:09:51.:09:55.

it's hoped other employers may be prepared to do the same.

:09:56.:09:58.

Why did Santa's helper see the doctor?

:09:59.:10:04.

Nice one, ten, cracker jokes are great!

:10:05.:10:26.

It's derby night on Merseyside, but will home advantage help Everton

:10:27.:10:30.

And toasting the heart of their village -

:10:31.:10:34.

a Christmas Star for the couple who bring

:10:35.:10:36.

In the last hour, a plaque has been unveiled at Liverpool Town Hall

:10:37.:10:46.

to the memory of the hundreds of local people who supported

:10:47.:10:49.

the anti-fascist cause in the Spanish Civil War.

:10:50.:10:52.

The new memorial marks the 80th anniversary of the war,

:10:53.:10:54.

one which inspired so many ordinary people to take up

:10:55.:10:57.

Here's our Merseyside Reporter, Andy Gill.

:10:58.:11:06.

They were known as the International Brigade -

:11:07.:11:12.

people from all over the world who went to fight when the Spanish army

:11:13.:11:16.

rose against an elected left-wing Government. Of the 130 Merseyside

:11:17.:11:23.

people who went, 80 were killed. And now a plaque to the memory of all

:11:24.:11:27.

those who fought was unveiled at Liverpool town hall.

:11:28.:11:31.

They were forbidden to go. The Government said it was illegal for

:11:32.:11:36.

them to go, but they went, nevertheless. Even companies on

:11:37.:11:40.

Merseyside helped support then and support the fight against Franco.

:11:41.:11:49.

The director Ken Loach made an award winning film about a working-class

:11:50.:11:53.

Liverpudlian who goes to fight fascism in Spain.

:11:54.:11:57.

I left Liverpool would adapt, romantic idea.

:11:58.:12:02.

The International Brigade was on the losing side. Of course, it wasn't

:12:03.:12:08.

just people from Merseyside he went. As the People's History Museum In

:12:09.:12:15.

Manchester records. The vast majority were working-class

:12:16.:12:20.

women and men from working-class areas like Liverpool and Manchester.

:12:21.:12:24.

That is why a disproportionate number, from cities, particular in

:12:25.:12:29.

the North West. The man who unveiled the plaque

:12:30.:12:31.

hopes visitors will be inspired to find out more about the Spanish

:12:32.:12:34.

Civil War. This is part of modern Europe, Spain

:12:35.:12:38.

is a very different country from what it was in those days. But

:12:39.:12:42.

people look back less than a century, they can find out how these

:12:43.:12:49.

forces of darkness are very -- never very far from us.

:12:50.:12:51.

Lord Sugar has picked his Apprentice in the final on BBC One,

:12:52.:12:57.

but a Blackburn brewery is after an apprentice of its own,

:12:58.:13:00.

You're public wondering what Lord Sugar has to do with a horse!

:13:01.:13:12.

This job is certainly unusual - the chance to help look

:13:13.:13:14.

after Thwaites' famous shire horses, which have been part

:13:15.:13:16.

Stuart Pollitt's been to find out what skills are needed.

:13:17.:13:22.

Think Apprentice, and this probably comes to mind.

:13:23.:13:25.

Lord Sugar began his search for a brand-new business partner...

:13:26.:13:33.

Think apprenticeships, and the normal image is eager

:13:34.:13:36.

But this apprenticeship is very different.

:13:37.:13:44.

A successful candidate will be looking after

:13:45.:13:46.

This job is just the ideal job for me.

:13:47.:13:50.

I love beer, so what more could a man want?

:13:51.:13:56.

Richard smiled his way through the job for 16 years.

:13:57.:14:00.

It's very rare, jobs like this don't come along at all.

:14:01.:14:03.

If your heart's in this kind of a job,

:14:04.:14:05.

No time for mucking about, but the odd bit of mocking out.

:14:06.:14:26.

As well as all the dirty work here at the stables,

:14:27.:14:29.

you have to be the public face of the company, taking these

:14:30.:14:31.

two to more than 100 events every year.

:14:32.:14:33.

And that means dressing for the role.

:14:34.:14:35.

Horses have been part of our business since inception.

:14:36.:14:42.

Who's the Lord Sugar of this operation, is that you?

:14:43.:14:47.

I guess so, but there'll be no tasks.

:14:48.:14:50.

There'll be no pitches, no boardroom grilling at all.

:14:51.:14:54.

No, just as long as you're good with a shovel.

:14:55.:14:57.

There's already been dozens of applications,

:14:58.:15:05.

the free beer is only for the horses.

:15:06.:15:18.

I hope they're able to walk after that!

:15:19.:15:25.

He's messaging, like me! You had to be quite tall to reach

:15:26.:15:27.

them, to grin them at the top. And now for a Christmas Star Award

:15:28.:15:30.

which will definitely get Roseanne and Tony Davies are known

:15:31.:15:33.

as Mr and Mrs Affetside - the village in Bury where they

:15:34.:15:37.

live - because of everything they do They organise events

:15:38.:15:40.

bringing everyone together throughout the year,

:15:41.:15:43.

including This year, the villagers

:15:44.:15:45.

wanted to repay the couple for all their kindness -

:15:46.:15:49.

and Abbie Jones went It's not Christmas without carols

:15:50.:15:51.

around the Affetside village tree. The whole community gathered

:15:52.:16:01.

round, young and old, brought together by these two,

:16:02.:16:07.

Roseanne and Tony Davies. To create friendship

:16:08.:16:10.

within the village, And it took off very nicely,

:16:11.:16:11.

right from day one, with all the activities

:16:12.:16:16.

that we organised. When we first came, nobody

:16:17.:16:19.

knew their next-door neighbour. For hours, Roseanne and Tony have

:16:20.:16:28.

been straightening seats, tweaking the tinsel,

:16:29.:16:30.

making sure the And they don't just organise this

:16:31.:16:32.

event, but Father Christmas visits, They really are the heart

:16:33.:16:37.

and soul of our village. They give everything, they're always

:16:38.:16:42.

there, for every event. Doesn't matter what we do,

:16:43.:16:47.

they turn up and give 200%. # And a partridge

:16:48.:16:50.

in a pear tree...#. I have to say, we're slightly

:16:51.:16:53.

here under false pretences. We haven't just come

:16:54.:16:56.

to film this wonderful carol concert, but we've

:16:57.:16:58.

come to surprise two very special people,

:16:59.:17:01.

who, without you, I don't think any OK, Roseanne and Tony,

:17:02.:17:04.

you do so much for this And for all your hard work,

:17:05.:17:16.

we've nominated you for this BBC North West Tonight

:17:17.:17:26.

Christmas Star Award. A little emotional,

:17:27.:17:29.

to be honest with you. If every village and community had

:17:30.:17:38.

a Tony and Roseanne, We've just bought a house up

:17:39.:17:41.

here because of people like that. After the carols, mulled

:17:42.:17:45.

wine to celebrate. To a couple who bring

:17:46.:17:49.

cheer to this village, not just at Christmas,

:17:50.:17:54.

but all year round. I just want to go an live there!

:17:55.:18:10.

It's lovely, isn't it? We have another Christmas a stray

:18:11.:18:14.

tomorrow for you, right through the week until Friday.

:18:15.:18:20.

On to sport now. Lots to talk about, one place with every have to start,

:18:21.:18:23.

because big match, Merseyside Monday.

:18:24.:18:24.

Yes, Everton against Liverpool at Goodison Park.

:18:25.:18:26.

The Blues have won just one of the last 19 derbies and will be

:18:27.:18:30.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool - who've lost just once in their last

:18:31.:18:34.

14 Premier League matches - have other ideas, of course.

:18:35.:18:37.

And both sets of fans will have everything crossed that

:18:38.:18:40.

it's their team that comes out on top.

:18:41.:18:53.

Whatever the era, the Merseyside derby is often supercharged.

:18:54.:19:06.

It's pressure, of course, but we all love it. We all want this loud

:19:07.:19:12.

stadium, we want the really a emotional crowd around and all that

:19:13.:19:15.

stuff. It's not a normal match. It's about

:19:16.:19:23.

the Derby rivalry between Everton and Liverpool. It's all about their

:19:24.:19:28.

fans, and we understand that. The rivalry between the two clubs is

:19:29.:19:33.

intense. But in a city where families are often half loo and half

:19:34.:19:39.

red, they also come together, as they do today. There's half blue and

:19:40.:19:45.

half red. Helping the that's Liverpool foodbank. For 12 months,

:19:46.:19:49.

they've been collecting outside Anfield and Goodison every Monday.

:19:50.:19:57.

There collecting food for residents struggling to make ends meet.

:19:58.:20:01.

It is about putting aside rivalry and think people are more important.

:20:02.:20:05.

It's about solidarity in times of need. What a perfect example of what

:20:06.:20:11.

we're trying to achieve here. When we might enter the game

:20:12.:20:15.

tonight? At the first Wessel.

:20:16.:20:20.

Disturb it's a great game, and Liverpool win.

:20:21.:20:25.

Home win, all the way. And with Christmas just around the

:20:26.:20:29.

corner, no-one want to lose this one.

:20:30.:20:32.

We won't lose today. What makes you confidence?

:20:33.:20:37.

I'm whenever turning, you have to be.

:20:38.:20:41.

I'm hoping they win 2-1. What all be like if Everton lose?

:20:42.:20:51.

Season-ticket holder, devastated abilities, delighted if they win. If

:20:52.:20:55.

they lose, the kids don't get no Christmas presents or nothing!

:20:56.:21:01.

The Merseyside derby can come soon enough. Should be a cracker.

:21:02.:21:05.

There'll be full match commentary from Goodison Park

:21:06.:21:07.

on BBC Radio Merseyside tonight, all the build up starts at 7pm.

:21:08.:21:10.

And you can watch highlights on a special Match Of The Day,

:21:11.:21:12.

Manchester City leapfrogged Liverpool in the table after a 2-1

:21:13.:21:16.

Pep Guardiola's side trailed 1-0 at half time, but hit back just

:21:17.:21:21.

after the restart, when Leroy Sane benefited from a dubious call

:21:22.:21:24.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger claimed City's winner from Raheem Sterling

:21:25.:21:30.

should also have been disallowed for offside.

:21:31.:21:37.

There was more refereeing controversy at White Hart Lane,

:21:38.:21:39.

The Clarets were leading through Ashley Barnes' goal

:21:40.:21:42.

when the home side's Moussa Sissoko was guilty of a late,

:21:43.:21:45.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche thought he should have been sent off,

:21:46.:21:51.

but just a minute after being booked,

:21:52.:21:52.

Sissoko set up Danny Rose for the game's deciding goal.

:21:53.:21:58.

North West winners were at a premium in the Football League,

:21:59.:22:01.

with just two of our 12 teams tasting success.

:22:02.:22:03.

In the Championship, it's just one defeat in seven now

:22:04.:22:06.

for Preston North End, who won 2-1 at Bristol City, thanks to goals

:22:07.:22:09.

from Simon Makienok in the first half, and then Daniel Johnson

:22:10.:22:12.

Matty Lund's hat-trick kept Rochdale's League One

:22:13.:22:17.

This is a lovely story, sad but inspiring.

:22:18.:22:38.

When Elliott Lamb was being treated in hospital,

:22:39.:22:40.

his dad bought a Chocolate Orange to say thank you to the staff.

:22:41.:22:43.

Elliot passed away, aged just four, in 2010.

:22:44.:22:45.

But every Christmas, his dad has continued giving

:22:46.:22:47.

Not just one or two - thousands upon thousands.

:22:48.:22:51.

In fact, this year, he's given 7000 of them to doctors

:22:52.:22:54.

and nurses up and down the country, as Judy Hobson reports.

:22:55.:23:00.

Just a little something to say thank you.

:23:01.:23:02.

This is the sixth year that Chris Lamb has

:23:03.:23:05.

They've been donated by friends, family, even complete strangers.

:23:06.:23:11.

I got a Chocolate Orange for one of the physios at Alder Hey,

:23:12.:23:14.

As all the nurses can vouch for, they love Chocolate Oranges.

:23:15.:23:20.

They were all asking where theirs work,

:23:21.:23:25.

And the following year, I wanted to do something positive

:23:26.:23:29.

for others who loved him to remember him in a positive way

:23:30.:23:32.

Elliott was born with a rare disease and severe brain damage.

:23:33.:23:36.

He died just before Christmas in 2010, aged four.

:23:37.:23:39.

For much of his life, he was cared for here,

:23:40.:23:44.

at Zoe's Place, a hospice for babies and young children.

:23:45.:23:48.

It's about the people who take care of our loved ones.

:23:49.:23:51.

The people who work 365 days a year, doing such an amazing job.

:23:52.:23:58.

They're always there when we need them.

:23:59.:24:00.

Today, staff could have as many Chocolate Oranges as they liked.

:24:01.:24:04.

We actually nickname him the Chocolate Orange now,

:24:05.:24:10.

It means a great deal to the staff, because it's just so nice

:24:11.:24:15.

for the staff to have someone come in and say thank you.

:24:16.:24:17.

Sometimes you come on shift and you get a box of chocolates

:24:18.:24:20.

or something, but by the time the next shift comes on,

:24:21.:24:23.

So it's nice to receive a gift that everybody gets some.

:24:24.:24:27.

Chris has already taken hundreds of Chocolate Oranges to doctors

:24:28.:24:30.

and nurses at Alder Hey and Whiston hospitals,

:24:31.:24:33.

The idea has also taken off in other parts of the country.

:24:34.:24:39.

Up in Newcastle, colleagues of collected for hospices up there.

:24:40.:24:46.

Blackpool, Preston, Chorley, just incredible to think that it

:24:47.:24:49.

started off with one Chocolate Orange.

:24:50.:24:51.

Now Chris has given out more than 20,000, a small token

:24:52.:24:54.

of appreciation in the memory of a very special little boy.

:24:55.:25:07.

It's a lovely way to remember him. And thank the people who looked

:25:08.:25:14.

after him. Antarctic, we met Chris at Alder Hey

:25:15.:25:19.

last year, do you remember? A great guy. Now the weather. Snow for

:25:20.:25:23.

Christmas? I suggest you get your umbrellas for

:25:24.:25:29.

Christmas. It's looking like it will be wet and windy for Christmas Day.

:25:30.:25:35.

But I'll let Diane be that there are bad news tomorrow, I'll skip that!

:25:36.:25:40.

It has been a cloudy afternoon, and it will continue to be fairly

:25:41.:25:44.

unsettled. Outbreaks of rain and turning quite windy. The first band

:25:45.:25:49.

of wind will push in from tomorrow night into Wednesday. Then showers

:25:50.:25:54.

for Wednesday and Thursday, then the first big band of rain pushing in on

:25:55.:25:59.

Friday, behind that, lots of isobars, so quite windy. Behind

:26:00.:26:04.

that, another band of rain that Diana would tell you all about

:26:05.:26:08.

tomorrow. Tonight then, cloudy night, light, drizzly rain

:26:09.:26:16.

overnight. Patchy cloud as we head into dawn. Temperatures as low as

:26:17.:26:21.

three degrees. Tomorrow we start cloudy, some fog into the afternoon.

:26:22.:26:29.

We will see bright spells sneaking through, but also the chance of

:26:30.:26:33.

showers. Wind picking up through the afternoon. A top temperatures of 9

:26:34.:26:44.

degrees. Just 6 degrees in Cheshire tomorrow. Tomorrow evening and

:26:45.:26:49.

tomorrow night, that band of rain pushes in. The winds pick up, expect

:26:50.:26:55.

gales or near-Gales tomorrow night. Temperatures not looking so bad.

:26:56.:27:00.

Wednesday looks to be a cloudy day was showers. It is likely to be

:27:01.:27:06.

quite windy as well. As we head into Thursday, we will see very similar

:27:07.:27:11.

conditions, but then that band of rain pushes in on Friday. On Friday,

:27:12.:27:16.

we'll see double figure Heck temperatures, but feel cool. Windy

:27:17.:27:22.

conditions, expect rain, and temperatures in double figures. Do

:27:23.:27:27.

you see how I skipped Christmas then? Diane is in the tomorrow, I'll

:27:28.:27:32.

let her do her job! Someone wrote in and said they were

:27:33.:27:37.

in New York for Christmas, all smelly on Christmas Day...

:27:38.:27:42.

We wouldn't want it any other way, wet and windy gives us an excuse to

:27:43.:27:46.

stay in! Keep your umbrellas handy!

:27:47.:27:47.

See you There's family tradition of

:27:48.:27:48.

difficult Christmases. Ben dropping

:27:49.:27:51.

a frozen turkey on Mum's foot. Put me down!

:27:52.:27:53.

No, we talked about this. Taser him! That is a video game,

:27:54.:27:55.

isn't it? I'm going to need at least another

:27:56.:27:58.

15 years to recover from children. This is all nonsense - it's highly

:27:59.:28:03.

entertaining, nonetheless it's... I'm starting this new job, I'm

:28:04.:28:28.

taking over a really tough school. Where is it?

:28:29.:28:30.

You're not going down south...? Huddersfield? I know. That's like

:28:31.:28:33.

the dark side of the moon. You do know that this house

:28:34.:28:39.

is haunted?

:28:40.:28:42.
